XXXOne might think after such a fated reunion there would be a happy ending, right? Everything would settle down, calm and collected. The two would live happily ever after. ... Except, there was never a peaceful moment with this pinkette present. In the following ten days since their long-awaited reunion, it became clear that the two had much to catch up on. Be it in a number of countless stories or making up for lost time apart from each other. It had all begun with her dearest Adam buckling down on her and demanding to know what happened in their time apart. It was a state of persistence that as foreign, even for a caring boy such as himself. It had been all fun and games to her, talking so carelessly about the bullets that riddled her body and the wounds she had endured. It was that same careless disposition Asger had never settled for, especially this time. He had to sit her down, to use his magic with words to make her take it seriously, even if for just a moment. Was it her favorite thing? Absolutely not. She didn't see how important it was, as the girl was prone to danger every waking moment. He knew that about her, it was that very aspect that defined Eve for who she was. But, if it would make her dearest happy she would comply this once, though she was certain the foul taste her words would leave in his mouth. So she shared her tale, the tale of a prince and princess divided by a world that was so intent to make them suffer. In her perspective, it was a tale of a princess heroine that would save her dearest prince, the damsel in distress. Perhaps the girl had gotten too vivid with her details, too gruesome. So much that even she stumbled upon her words, resurfacing memories that were even too painful for her. Who would've thought a girl so hellbent on living life to the fullest for what she wanted, when she wanted, would let herself get entangled in such a mess of emotions? That a broken heart had nearly been the end of her, something she was even willing to accept. The pinkette was truly shocked by his own display of emotion, from a stern cold disposition that demanded she shared, to the anger that came from how carelessly she was willing to throw her life away for his own sake. ... No, it wasn't anger, but instead a solemn concern and fear for her. Something that among all the stupid or ridiculous things she had done, she had never crossed that line. A line that made her freeze in her tracks, at a loss of what to say, what to do. It was not just his words, but his tone, his expression. A medley that changed the aura of the room. One that managed to reach the deepest parts of her soul. How could she come up with some silly quip when she saw that her dearest's heart was breaking before her eyes? Hell, he even called her by her actual name, Eve, not Evie. It was the equivalent of a parent calling their child's full name, middle included. It hurt her, both because she felt bad for him and that he was hurting her own feelings. Emotional distress wasn't something Eve could just cope with, it was the very reason why she rode out anger and excitement so well. It was surely something that Asger had picked up on, too. For soon after she had found herself embraced by her dearest Adam. Not only that, but she felt the unmistakable warmth and softness of his lips against her forehead. A sensation that had made her heart flutter into a thousand butterflies, almost as if it made her nervous and confused. But a good nervous. One that brought her gaze to look up at him once more, bringing the softest of smiles to both their lips before she gently bumped their foreheads together. An Evie classic.
It seemed that Asger wasn't the only one that awoke from his coma abruptly. Several students had woken up and waltzed right out of the office without another word, only resulting in the nurses tracking them down so that they could get tested. After all, they couldn't just let students who had spontaneously fallen into a coma for three days go and rejoin society. It was unprecedented, and overall poor practice on the infirmary's part. Like many of the others, Asger was subjected to a series of tests to see if anything had prompted his state of consciousness; or rather, unconsciousness. To try and find some lingering residue of whatever the phenomenon had happened to him. Overall, it was a series of events to test his overall health from the events prior. Of course, Eve being herself, she didn't dare leave his side during the testing process. Though she wasn't an avian Faunus, she watched each doctor like a hawk to ensure they did nothing to her precious. After all, she endured to get here, it was only fair that she had become ever more protective of her Adam. Among those being tested, however, Eve herself had been prompted to take a series of tests herself. Not due to falling unconscious because of the semblance swap, but overall curiosity among the trio as well as the doctors that overheard their conversations. Eve had grown up human, or at least close to it, and only recently developed a series of faunus traits. Serrated teeth for rending flesh, venom ducts that made her bite even more fearsome, and the oddest of all; a pair of red horns atop her head. Such a series of traits left not only Asger and Danae, but the doctors present scratching their heads about the possibilities. In the end, it had boiled down to a series of tests to determine the possibilities. From blood testing, dental examinations, venom sampling, to lastly sampling the most curious aspect of horns. The results were technically inconclusive, as no combination had worked with the concept of horns. A most accurate guesstimation, however, was that Eve had been a late-developing Komodo Dragon Faunus. A particularly unique faunus that Eve seemed to share many personality characteristics with, so the idea hadn't been too farfetched. Faunus traits, more often than not, came with birth. Perhaps her baby teeth had never properly fallen out until the recent events with the tribe, but that would explain the venom ducts or the horns. It was a most likely possibility that the nature of her semblance had interfered with her Faunus traits developing, but the spontaneous growth had left them all baffled still. For that reason in particular, the results were inconclusive. If it were the case, however, they elected to associate the horns as a product of her semblance as well due to their ability to grow only when utilizing her semblance. It wasn't uncommon for a semblance to have a physical trait present, but it was different in her case. After all, up until this last year, the pinkette had never grown horns despite the constant use. Perhaps this too was due to the excessive use that had saved her life when encountering the tribe. All Eve had to say to this, however, was simple. "Aww, you mean I'm not a little devil? Guess it still explains a lot~" The pinkette hadn't been worried or concerned about her developments. If anything, it pieced together a few missing links in how she acted. Now the main concern was how she was intending to regulate her venom with how often she bit others. A solution had come easily, utilizing a repurposed squeaky toy with the durability of dental impressions in order to drain her ducts frequently. Something that it safer for her to bite or antagonize Asger, but made her weapon all the more dangerous with venom storage.
It eventually came to what was perhaps the most dangerous tasks on their list, something that Asger had surely dreaded since Eve's arrival; retrieving his belongings from team CHAE. Through some means of a miracle, a number of teams had been jumbled together in which ensured that both Asger and herself ended up on the same team. To make things more convoluted, that very team happened to be partnered with 'their' sister, Danae, as well as her own Adam who oddly smelled of a goat, Narx. The pinkette had her own suspicions of how such a thing came to be, thinking it was due to her Papa pulling the same strings that got her enrolled here. Truth be told, there could have been a number of contributing factors. Both Asger and Danae could have talked with the Head Master, especially with their mother being on some fancy and pretentious council. After all, only those two knew just how dangerous it would be to leave Eve on her own with a team. Teamwork had always been difficult for her, often being the cause of untimely maiming for those in association. Or, perhaps it was just fate working its magic to make up for all they endured up to this point. Whatever the cause was, it was for the better. One that kept the pair of opposites happy as well as save the lives of those who may have been so unfortunate to have been teamed with her.
So then, now that their teams were changed the next step was moving in. Moving in required that Asger went and retrieved his belongings, be it books and clothes, his weapon included. Eve being Eve, wouldn't dare let the bird go on his own to the dorm. Not because she didn't trust him, but because of all the stories Danae had fed into her ear about this 'Maru' throwing himself at her mate. The nerve of him, especially after Eve had clearly left her mark upon Asger's skin. Asger knew that he couldn't change her mind once it was set, of course, so agreed with a few stipulations. The first being that he called ahead to ensure Maru wasn't there, perhaps even the rest of the team. The second being a safety precaution, a ridiculous harness on a leash like a toddler along with a muzzle to ensure no one met an unfortunate fate. That more than ever was important with the discovery of her new found ability of venom production. The third and last had been to behave, because unless he had specified then the girl would have surely ripped apart Maru's corner of the room. Asger knew of course that getting her to wear such confounded equipment was far easier said than done, getting her to behave was even harder, so he weighed the offer to take her flying in order to convince her. With each safety precaution set, the field trip itself was relatively uneventful. The couple had arrived and began gathering his things. Asger had talked to his teammates, whether during or after, all the while Eve continued to growl and sniff around the room. The pinkette absolutely hated the harness, the muzzle more. Multiple times she had tried to pull away, only to be tugged back by her Adam. Sure, Asger had taken precautions to ensure that she wasn't cutthroat during this trip, but that wouldn't stop her from memorizing Maru's scent. Then, as if miss fortune had smiled down upon her, Asger got distracted. In that split second distraction Eve had managed to rummage through Maru's laundry basket. Snatching up one of his uniforms, she'd give it a big sniff before growling. 'This is him. I'll track down the homewrecker...' She thought to herself, stuffing the uniform into her own jacket. While Eve's act of thievery was narrowly avoided, that didn't save her from having Asger beckon her back to his side of the room. Chipper than ever, she complied with a toothy grin beneath the muzzle. ... Something that had surely left Asger suspicious, but unable to complain as she complied with him from that moment on until they left. Watch out, Maru.
The newly formed team, SHAA, or SweetHeart, was one of many tasked to partake in a large scale reconnaissance mission. One that held top priority over any other task within Beacon walls, excusing them from the classes that the pinkette was determined to neglect anyways. It was a grand scale mission that was broken into two parts, Cave Alpha and Cave Omega. Eight teams of four were selected and briefed on the basic expectation from their conjoined reconnaissance mission, to obtain an unknown objective. Of course, Eve didn't pay a lick of attention to any of the information being fed their way. Instead, she found herself either trying to pester the precious falcon who was trying adamantly to listen for both their sake. All Eve had cared about was that she'd finally get a chance to stretch her legs and flex her teeth. Something she had already done on campus grounds, but this time she wouldn't get in trouble or scold for it. It seemed this mission held such a high priority that even the military had considered getting involved, so one might think such a troublesome pinkette might finally get her act together. At the very least for a moment, right? Absolutely not.
Even with such an important task impending, a mission that held unknown dangers within the unknown. A cave that on its first report had grimm pouring out by the dozens, this pinkette couldn't take matters seriously for even a moment. Eve had been captivated like a child by the scenery just outside the window of the aircraft, much like another pair. The young dragon had always had a fascination with flying, something that clearly played a part in her obsession with Asger. Pools of cyan would shimmer as reflective surfaces for the passing clouds, the pinkette's mouth agape as her nose scrunched against the window. Since liftoff, the woman's eyes had been glued to the window, tapping her feet and bouncing in place with unbridled excitement. That, of course, didn't mean she hadn't been keeping track of where Asger had gone. He couldn't have gone far, actually, as she kept her arm firmly intertwined with his own. "Aaaadaaaam, do you think you can fly this high? Could you take me? I want to feel the wind in my hair!" The pinkette had asked, finally tearing her turquoise hues from the window to look up at the red-haired falcon. Light pink goldilocks lips had spread wide in her excitement, showing the boy a beaming smile while tugging herself closer. To everyone else, this had the possibility of being a life or death mission. For her, it was nearly the ideal date with her beloved.
That's when she heard it over the intercom, they were nearing the landing zone. Furthermore, possibly with Asger's own prompting, Eve's smile faltered to a pondering expression with pursed lips. "Supply check? But Adam, that's your job! Isn't it?" Her lips had curled again in a smug display of playfulness. She was being forced to think and prepare her supplies before dropping to death's doorstep? How boring is that. Though intent on keeping their arms interlocked, she pulled herself away just far enough to start poking at her waistline where a number of canisters were stored. Following her index finger, there would be a ting from metal on metal as she mentally counted. ".. Three.. Five.. Six! I've got six blood vials, check! and uh... two.. four.. Four venoms! Check. Knives... two.. five.. eight? Oh huh, more than I thought." She exclaimed excitedly to Asger, tapping the metal one last time for a satisfying ting that she'd shrill to. "Look! They're so pretty thanks to Danae! They looked so much cuter than my arm did after the chemical bath." She would giggle, referring to just the other day when Danae had followed up on their promise of dyeing her daggers. An event that, of course, led to Eve severely scarring herself once again, as arms are NOT meant to be dipped into harsh metal dyeing chemicals. Who knew, right? At least in Eve's case, such a horrid accident was only temporary.
Carefully, she'd tap the heart device strapped to her chest that remained firmly attached to the catheter beneath her shirt. "I also brought some tube replacements. Dust, too! See?" Dust was easily the most exciting tool for her to use, as well as the most dangerous. While many huntsmen utilized dust rounds to gain an edge at a distance or enhance the efficiency of their weapons, all her rounds would instead be funneled into her body. A process that was absolute agony, but it was that same sense agony that made her such a deadly fighter. Eager to flaunt her arsenal, she'd release his arm for the first time since their flight. Tugging at her waist, she'd pull his attention to a box that had dust rounds and crystals alike. "Look see! I've got an ice one, fire, lightning.. Another fire, and --" Without another word the girl's rich turquoise eyes had gone wide like a deer in headlights. In her hand was a bright orange round, one that was unmistakably the more volatile variant of fire dust; an explosive round. Blinking sporadically, she'd tuck it behind her back and avert her gaze. "Oh. Um. That wasn't one. I swear. The light, uh, just got in your eyes. And... Uh..." The girl was waiting for it, bracing herself for a scolding. Of all the dust types for her to use, this one had specifically been banned due to its nature. Not for the risk of using it in a volcanic cavern, but at the risk that Eve was willing to turn herself into a living bomb with it. Something that only Eve could do and survive, but that was just barely. What made matters worse was that Asger had held her select her dust reserve, but she went around his plans in order to sneak the forbidden fruit of dust along for a ride.
Words would surely come her way, words of logic and reason that were woven into a scold about how dangerous this was. Just over a week ago Asger had already gone over how she can't carelessly risk her life, especially for him, yet here she was ready to blow not just herself but everyone else to kingdom come. Reluctantly, she moved her hand from behind her back and uncurled her fingers to show him the glowing orange. Her dearest had always used logic to make her think again, to reassess a situation to decide for herself whether it was right or wrong. "Well Adam, I understand where you're coming from. I really do, but I've got an argument this time!" The pinkette's eyes had brightened up, cyan hues looking up at those of sapphire. For just a moment her confidence seemed unwavering. There was a look of determination about her that said the gears were turning, that she actually had a reason for defying him. What was it though? Perhaps he'd notice that just for a split second, her turquoise orbs had darted towards the bay doors. "You see. I just... Really want it!" Lips had curled into a playful smile. Akin to a child playing keep away, she'd shout her none existent reason before ducking away from Asger into a full-on run around the cargo bay. It was the perfect opportunity as several students were on the move or had just leaped out, Danae and Narx included. In her run, though, she'd glance over her shoulder to see the falcon following in pursuit. When had boy gotten so fast? "Nooo, I just want one, PLEAAAAASE? She'd shout over her shoulder in desperation, clutching the dust tighter in her palm. Steering her course, she'd instead start beelining directly towards the open bay doors. Keeping her body tucked low to the ground, she'd look back towards Asger one last time to ensure he was following. He was, which gave her an idea. Smirking mischievously, she'd run along with the open doors before 'leaping.' Except as she dropped, she'd throw her right hand back to dig her sharpened metal fingertips into the doorway. The metal on metal scratches would kick up a series of small sparks, but keep her hanging outside the aircraft just long enough for Asger to catch up. ... Then, if he had fallen for her trap and taken the dive, she'd release her grip and dive with him. By with him, that meant she intended to drop right onto his back and mount the avian's shoulders until they reached the ground. It was a foolproof plan, truthfully. One that had her trembling in excitement.
The staff started to pick up their speed around the command center; a large tent 30 meters from the chasm entry point. It didn't take long for a tall military man clad in shiny badges to exit the tent with an entourage of military men and women with digital pads and scrolls. He made his way to where most of the students had gathered and stood on a small platform before them all.
"Listen up pipsqueaks!" He demanded their attention with a stern gaze. "Beacon has been given authority over this mission, but the military will be watching from afar. This is a serious mission and I want you to all be weary of a few facts."
A man beside him grunted and whispered in the man's ear. His eye's widened and he cleared his throat. "I seemed to have forgot to introduce myself. I am commander Adao. Now where was I... Oh yes, you will all now make your way down into the cave. Teachers and staff will be helping you put on the rappelling gear and once at the bottom wait for your teams. When your teams are all down there you may head out into the cavern. Team Lemonade and Gold, you will be the vanguard, make ready to go down first." The Commander switched his gaze over to the other side of the field. "As for the Sternguard we have Sweetheart and Dark. You can make deals with another team to swap places, but both jobs will be extremely important. Keep formation and make your way down the cave after you landed." Commander Adao gave the students a kurt nod and then motioned for them to start using the entry point. There was a table on either side with survival packs provided for all who would take one. "And remember! We don't know what is down there! Could be nothing, could be a throng of grimm. Stay alert and good luck!"

XXX Okay. So let's get this straight. There are two groups, four teams that are assigned to each that are exploring their own caves. So why was it that this goliath had been assigned to this mission, while the other group doesn't have a supervisor? Well, maybe it was because there was something to be found in this cave. Some details that the bird in charge told her about that she was surely only paying half attention to. Either way, she was there for a few reasons. One, a team was missing a member, so she'd be taking that member's place among the students. What was so interesting about that? Working in association with the same two demon twins that she had met in her survival class. Those kiddos seemed to want a word with her in the past, just like she was curious about how the hell the three of them all ended up in the same place. Two, she was here to make sure that this crazy crew didn't cause too much damage to some more... Sensitive material. So again, why did they send her? Surely there was at least one better candidate to play damage control among the staff and not this human wrecking ball. Well, what could she do now? Teams were soaring above the landing zone as they spoke, there was no point in getting held up on the specifics. Rachel was a fill in and a babysitter, that was it. Hopefully, the academy wouldn't come to regret their choice.
Oh, did we mention that she was sitting in the cockpit with the pilot? That's an important factor. The goliath of a woman sat hunched over in the co-pilot seat, drool dribbling from the corner of her mouth. Sitting beside her was a large pack, clearly full of food and some dust. That and her anchor, of course. "Huh? What, we're here already? s**t man, I was just dozing off... Okay, fine.. Fine... Later Chuck!" Without a second thought, a door in the cockpit had flung open and the goliath took her own dive. Like teacher like students, right? It seemed every student was up for taking the free fall without a care in the world. Unlike the other students who went directly to the ground, however, Rachel had aimed for the mouth of the cave instead. With her anchor in hand and fingers woven between the serrated chains, she'd toss the weapon as a brake to latch into the rocky exterior. Sinking into a particularly firm crevice, the anchor would jerk back and lead Rachel into a violent jolt. Sure, she might've gotten whiplash as a result, but at least she managed to stop before she actually fell into the cave! Disoriented, Rachel would pull herself up both the chain and the anchor until she was ground level outside the cave again, just behind the robot as Adao gave his spiel. "Some extra details for you kiddos, Big Bird decided it was best to assign ME to help get you on your way. You're down a student on team JOLD, so I'll be takin' his place." Rachel announced, loud and proud, though it had annoyed her more than anything. Stepping away from the cave itself, she made sure to promptly shove her way past the saluting robot that had kept its position for so long. "Gold. That's the horned ones, right? Horned ones and gas mask." Of the teams present, Rachel was most familiar with team GOLD and DARK from prior classes. She recognized Danae and Narx from Sweetheart, as well, but what was with the name change? Did they have new teammates? Then... There was Lemonade. Were they sweet or tart? Only one way to find out. "Lemonade... Your acronym looks like Llama. That's it, you're team Llama now." The woman said with a sneered smirk, bearing her shark teeth to the students that she dwarfed in size. Heavy footsteps took her right back the commander and over to the table covered in survival packs, beginning to rummage through one. Like Chief over here said, we gonna get geared and ready to go. Ya'll can just jump if you want, but I don't think that landing will be as cushy. I'm going to try to keep you alive, but I can't accommodate for idiots. Can barely do that with myself." Again, the woman would let out a hearty laugh as she searched the contents. Curiosity peaked in her cyan hues as she came across a survival bar, promptly tossing the treat into her mouth before shuttering. Disgustin', but f**k it. Oi, what the hell is with the bucket of bolts, anyway?" That's right, didn't she totally just assault some robot on her walk up?
More students had entered the fray. In that act, some magic number had been hit that prompted the commander of the operation to take charge in terms of introduction. It was there that the military man made the instructions clear to a degree. They were to enter the chasm in groups and operate accordingly due to the unknown risks that laid beneath them. Simple and sweet, yet there was so much room for risk causing variables. That's why this machine was here, to act as a buffer between those unknown variables and provide probabilities to them. Following the conclusion of the commander's speech, the machine was about to speak up. About being the keyword. Lowing its salute, the machine would suddenly be shoved out of the way by the goliath who had landed behind it. Not that the machine was surprised, as it was a machine and knew plenty about its assailant. For some reason, this teacher had been assigned to this mission, while at the same time this teacher was one of the variable factors to be cautious of. While yes, the machine did budge, it didn't budge far. There would be no scramble to its feet, nor some wacky gesture for it to regain its footing. Instead, two steps to the side as the epicenter of balance returned to it. That was all the machine needed to get back on track and assess the new situation, new arrivals. To begin, it would step forward to the preparation table that students had begun to retrieve their supplies from.
Sunlight would sheen off the absolute black visor, being just reflective enough that students and teacher alike would see themselves in it. "This machine has a purpose, Professor Anderson, in which I would advise against intentional damage of military property." The voice was artificial to a t. Words that sounded like no other person would, instead of a computer simulating the sounds that arranged letters would. Certain annunciation made that factor very clear. "In absence of Commander Adao's introduction, I am to make my own role clear. I am a prototype Valian Knight-300. I have been tasked as the Vale military official to assist and oversee this operation, in addition to providing probability outcomes. This is a precaution taken by the minister of defense herself, Eteria Lioncourt, in order to determine if further military aid is necessary for the academy." An introduction that was straight to the point. This machine was manufactured and designed with a specific purpose in order to aid this mission. "In short, I am an additional lifeline for your squad to use. If things were to go awry, I will act as your link to the surface." Concluding both its introduction, the machine would do as the soldier programmed in it would. It would salute, then step to the side to ensure it wasn't in the way of the students getting supplies. "Please inform me when all groups are ready for departure." With logical reasoning, the machine intended to depart with the vanguard first and foremost. It made more sense fundamentally to send the machine, one least susceptible to the elements, into the unknown in case of dangers.
Cecil looked to Adam as he landed before he soon said, "I'd give it a 5." He responded flatly, knowing it would help tell Adam to improve on a landing and form rather than being rude and telling him no. He looked around as he could see other teams slowly beginning to congregate to the Cave's entrance and slowly become more and more populated, then he saw her. He saw their fearless Leader finally return as he smiled at her and bowed his head. He stood up and smiled at her as she seemed just as good as ever while he watched as Team JOLD finally showed up just as he felt something slide into his hand. His eyes opened wide for a second before he looked down to see Azura's bare hand grasping his own, his hand shifting to lace his fingers with hers.
His face was turning into a faint shade of Red as he looked to Lena while Adam interacted with her as she was beginning to dance.... it wasn't very professional and they needed the light moments incase of memories.
Cecil moved his free hand to check his pockers where he had a few dust crystals of raw ice as he nodded his head before they were given information by the Military. They would have to descend so Cecil was nodding before he soon said, "It'll be good for us to head down with Repel gear so we don't take too much damage."

“Inspiration is found everywhere you look. The trick is to capture it and make it something your own."
Click... The sound of another capture of time came from from Vance's camera as a bird had appeared to rest on a near by tree branch. Mother nature was being kind to him today as he had found a lot of sources to take in to make a new work about nature. The boy would take moment away from his camera eye to look back at his Zylah and her friend to see that another person had joined them. The individual was in heavy armor and had horns similar to the person his teammate was riding on. From what what she said, she seemed familiar with the two, possible a friend of them, but she wouldn't be counted out as Vance added her to the list of pictures that was forming. Along with them was his new team leader, Luna who had asked him a question before he began to take of nature. "Sort of. It helps me remember what I felt in that instant, and when I look at them, I remember the idea that was in my mind that I feel in need to put into a canvas." After he spoke about why he took the pictures. the boy wouldn't show mercy even to his new team leader as she was captured in a picture. However, from what said by the girl who introduced herself as Ora, Vance could see that it had effected Luna in some way.
He was about to go over to ask her if she was okay until something happened that he would have never thought or imagine he would see, a robot fighter?! The boy couldn't help it as his camera had switched to rapid fire mode to capture this new oddity. His mind exploded with new ideas of what painting he would make and wondered where it had came from. The answer would have to wait as it appeared time to start the mission that they had been gathered to complete, and Vance moved back to where his team had gathered. Commander Adao, a man of the military that had been sent to watch over this mission, explained to them the mission and the plan that had been. The boy was interested to know that his team would be one of the teams to lead into the darkness. His attention was then immediately moved to the woman who landed with anchor in tow, to which he felt no one would blame him if he took a picture of a teacher. Vance was surprised how energetic the sharked fanged woman was, and the new team nickname was interesting, it was a pleasant surprise. Heck, he even got the name of the robot and being with such an interesting cast, he felt that this mission was going to be fun.

With an introduction being made Lena would stop dancing and cut the music. "Lena Oxton, Team JOLD." Smiling under her mask she would shake the offered hand. It was important, in a mission like this, to get know and interact with a few people. "Pumping up the energy with dancing and loud music." Giving a thumbs before her attention would be stolen by the Head Master and military head. Listening to every word that was said she nod a little. "It’s gonna be fun DARK. If you feel something small on your shoulder, please don’t swat it." Waving to DARK the insect Faunus would move to link up with Felix and Ora. A small frown would come as Jazz Hands couldn’t make it on the mission. Seeing Rachel, Lena would give a small wave. "So we're Vanguard... We can do it!" She smiled big, giving a thumbs up.

XXXFor once, it seemed as if the horned boy wasn't prepared for his lovely assistant to enter stage left. .. Actually, perhaps it was because he was expecting a frontal assault that he hadn't even considered to watch his back. Truly one of his greatest mistakes, as the horned boy fell right into the clutches of trickster of mismatched hues. It was only his natural strength in his favor that kept him from toppling over as the girl vaulted onto his shoulders, straddling his horns. However, rather than any sort of startling sensation, he became overwhelmed with the same excitement that the girl had to share. It was her delicate touch that booped the tip of his nose that refreshed the precious memories of hers, many reiterated time and time again through the gazes they shared. Well, a gaze they shared for just a moment. Unable to even fathom the new thoughts presented to him, he found his vision assaulted and obscured with a bombardment of colors. "Jeez, Zy, you wanna get rid of me that badly? Are you trying to show me something or smother me to death in style?" He barked at her with a laugh, blowing against the paper to try and get her to lift it. What he hadn't expected, however, was the craft to whirl to life and grab her attention instead. In a spur of the moment, the paper had been released as his horns were straddled and steered. With only seconds to act, as if he had no control of his body once Zy 'seized controlled of his steering,' he'd frantically reach to grab the paper before zooming off towards the nearest window. Just as the girl was enthralled by the beauty of a sky much like the eyes she gazed upon it with, Felix too found himself speechless. Except that it wasn't towards the ground shrinking away from them, but instead the blotches of colors he held in his hands. For some reason, even Zylah's memories hadn't spoken a word to him about the gift until he clutched it between his fingers. The emotions that went into making it, the rainbow catastrophe she caused in the process, alongside all the giddy excitement that led up to its presentation. Where Zylah was exhilarated, beaming ear to ear, Felix's own smile was soft and sweet as he gazed down at the blotches meant to represent him, Zylah, and Molly. It was their happy little family, and a treasure he'd always cherish. In fact, he was uncharacteristically quiet for so long, he felt the need to force out a pun just so she'd know he was still alive. "Vance better watch himself or a certain assistant is going to steal his next table at the artist alley." He snickered lightly, his gaze still fixed on the erratic brushstrokes that gave it charm. "Thank you, Zylah. I'm.. I'm going to keep it right here." Tugging the collar of his jacket open, he'd slip the tapestry into the safety of his under armor, just over his heart. With a swift pat to make sure it was in place, umber orbs would gaze back up at the tiny huntress before getting lost in the clouds.
If one were to watch the two as they came too, they would see a plethora of similarities. Together they had teasing but gaze that both earthen tones and skylit hues interlocked, matching the same signature smirk upon their lips as they tore in with the witty quips. Neither would ever dare miss the beat of their own drum but together could harmonize in the most amazing ways. These two were truly a match made in heaven, or rather hell for those who had to deal with whatever shenanigans they devised for each coming day. "Oh but of course, can't have lazy ol' me slowin' down miss firecracker against those grimm. What would she be without her tru..sty steeeeeeaaddd....." But of course the girl had to push her taunting words with a firm tap to the center of his forehead. While a playful smirk had crossed his lips, the boy's words had slowed and distorted, like a machine powering down. His head fell slack, his shoulders slumping as his torso started to lean forward to fall. Apparently, Zylah had hit his power button. That's what she wanted, right? For the boy to get his beauty rest so he wouldn't slow her down later? It was only when he was truly about to fall that he spurred with life once again, a mocking chuckle escaping his lips. "Watch where you're pokin' there, missy, you don't know where I keep my power button." In both Zylah and Felix fashion, of course, the statement would follow up with a playful wink up at the girl. With the two in agreement about Lena their dancing queen, the two were on the verge of busting out in uncontrollable laughter. Again, not that it mattered with the hefty headphones that the faunus had used to block out the world around her.
It was hard to decide if the two had naturally shared the same thoughts, or if Zylah had been thinking for both of them with her constant memory feed. Their touchdown was a glorious one at that, despite not embracing the elegant fashion that many had with kicks and flips. It didn't make the descent any less fun, either. While the impact may have rattled the poor girl's skull, she was just as insistent on taking it for a second go around. A thought that Felix himself had agreed to with a just as eager smile as he looked up to the airship. "Your turn to get us back up, it took a lot of effort to fall all this way, you know!" In unison with hers, a laugh not only escaped his lungs but nostrils in a snort. Not even at his own remark, but at his lovely assistant's own chime in about these lone punslingers giving them the slip. Everyone had nailed their touchdowns, and it seemed that Felix himself had started a trend with some of the other heavy hitters. Felix was only the first to make an impact, landing with cracks spiderwebbing in the stone beneath his feet. Followed by him, of course, was his dearest sister and another boy of odd familiarity. One that he knew from Ora's memories alone, but knew that he should've known himself. .. Yet, the two had yet to even exchange a few words. No sooner than their landing, however, the horned boy caught a glimpse of another familiar with a shining black box in his hand. Perhaps it was a photogenic reflex, but just as the camera was about to flash, the boy used his readied finger gun to strike a pose at the camera with a devilish smirk on his lips. A pose that hopefully, Zylah caught onto, aiming his gun outwards as if you make a declaration. "BANG!" "Oi, Vance! Can you show me that one later? I bet we nailed the photoshoot. Show me, or Zy. Practically the same thing." This would be yet another interesting twist with the life of Felix. Despite the two having never been officially introduced, Felix had already made bold statements on a first name basis as if he was right on the team with them. One might think that someone in Felix's shoes would begin to understand that the world wasn't as connected to him as he believed, but no. Never, in fact. As this faunus marched to the beat of his own drum, even if that drum was a mix of a dozen others.
Another familiar face had approached them. One with iconic blue hair that couldn't be mistaken for any other, speaking words both soft and comforting of care and concern. Without a doubt, the spectacular woman that had approached them was none other than the leader of Lemonade herself, Lunia. Not only that, but she was asking Felix how he was. That didn't happen very often, surprisingly. He couldn't help but wonder if it was because of the wall he completely plowed the other day after Zy vaulted off his shoulders to tackle her. Whatever the reason was, he wouldn't complain. Instead, he'd greet her with a grand smile on his lips while lifting his hand just enough to wave. "Oh, Lu, its you! Doin' great, I'd say. My head is in one piece, at least. .. Well, minus the piece keepin' Trouble's hair back. .. Oh what?! Did you say soup? .. Wait, I knew about that..." In old Felix fashion, his thoughts were a jumbled mess from the memories that dashed back and forth in his mind. The horned boy said with a smirk, umber orbs darting up towards the girl mounted upon his shoulders. The chip of his horn spike still had yet to recover, leaving the curved weapon unusually sharp and jagged. It was something that would recover naturally with time, or if the boy had another meltdown of epic proportions. But, we all knew that the latter was the least preferred of those options. "Speakin' a Trouble, Zy, give Lu a hug for me. I can't do squat keepin' ya buckled in place. Just be careful of the horns." Shifting the minuscule weight of the horn who gripped his horns, he'd shimmy closer towards Lunia to lean Zylah towards her. While Lunia may not know the full reason of why to be careful about touching Felix, the leader would surely know enough to not make skin contact with the boy or his horns. Fortunately, if the three played their cards right and didn't push fate, Zylah should be perfectly positioned to give her leader a hug for the excitable boy. Sure, perhaps Lunia didn't feel as close to Felix as she did with others, but that wasn't received the same way on Felix's end. With Zylah's memories in a medley with his own, Lunia had become one of his closest friends despite how infrequently they talked. "How're you keepin', Lu? Sorry 'bout keepin' my assistant from you so much. Well, sorta sorry. Not enough to stop." The boy couldn't keep a chuckle from escaping his lips, curled in a playful grin. It rarely ever occurred to him that their teammates might be missing them, but he was also trapped in the mindset that their lives were far too short.
Then, of course, came the buzzkill. A term that was meant in the nicest way possible, of course. After all, the horned boy dearly loved his sister. She was one of the very few people that truly mattered in his life, that he cared for unconditionally with or without the memories of others. That didn't mean he never found her sense of realism to be an utter drag, despite knowing how important it was. He knew how it was, as well, at least for a moment. During the semblance swap, the two had practically traded places. Ora had a day to live carefreely, the weight of their wretched past lifted off her shoulders and dropped on his own tenfold. Despite how over the top and scatterbrained the faunus was, that didn't mean he couldn't catch a strained or faltering expression. Just as Ora had mentioned Jazz's name, Lunia's happier mood seemed to shrink away as she looked to the ground. ... There was only one thing Felix could think of to try and cheer her up, and everyone else for that matter. And that was himself, acting on his first thought. An exasperated and overemphasized sigh would escape his lips, shrugging the shoulders Zylah rode on. "Oh right, right.. Jazzhands is a no show so we've got ourselves a fishy friend instead. ... Wait wait, does that mean I'm stand-in leader since I'm the oldest?" Oh man, this was going to be great! The horned faunus always knew he'd make a great leader with his impulsive and reckless decisions. That, matched with discarding all manner of safety and concern, he was prime leadership material. Clearing his voice, the boy would then stand tall and proud. "Okay, okay. First decree! We tear down the walls between JOLD and Lemonades dorms. Okay sure, there might be a dorm or three in between, but that just means we get to have a giant sleepover. Sounds like a blast, right? So, all in favor, say AYE" Forgetting for a moment about the munchkin atop his shoulders the boy would throw his right hand up, eager to make his decree a reality. Of course, he'd spout all his nonsense right through Commander Adao's speech, barely catching a word of what was actually happening as Lena, the dancing queen, decided to grace them with their presence.
Felix was as eager and overflowing with energy as he ever was. Something that had been a constant ever since sleeping beauty had woken from her slumber as if he was going above and beyond to make up for the lost time. Despite all of that, his beaming expression of optimism and joy had faltered, just for a moment. It was the moment that he laid eyes on the machine before them. .. No, not quite. It was instead the goliath of a woman with a sea of crimson and ebony threads cascading down her frame. One that shoved her way haphazardly past the machine that stood between them, beelining their direction. A smile that was so bright and carefree had its corners fallen slack. 'Megalodan, show this Behemoth what a true monster is.' What was that voice? A strand of memory? One of the many inklings that had been present since the day he remembered everything? Words that deafened his world, that made his blood run cold. For the first time since he awoke in the forest a scar upon his shoulder began to itch, a remnant of shredded flesh from when this very shark had ripped a chunk out of his shoulders. But, why was it now that it ached? The boy had run into the woman time and time again with no qualms, no issue what so ever. Yet now he was trapped in the words of a warning from himself, one that brought a foreign sense of fear. 'Beware of the past you've left behind, the people you've forgotten. We're defying a fate that someone like us was never meant to escape, and it will come for you.'Seeping through the clothes on his back was but a faint trace of hazy black aura, dissipating to invisible wisps. 'They are coming for you, Felix.
Charlotte over the last few days. Had been on a rollercoaster of emotions. Happy, sad, confusing, broken and finally. Worry. Though she was ecstatic about zylah returning, and didn't even mind the new team member. It did remind her that this was the second batch of ‘new recruits’ her and lunia had had in such a short time. More so as the night terrors and ‘dreams’ returned with vengeance now. Each time twisting her stomach in emotions she hadn’t felt before. Each new one parts of her mind screaming that it was bad and painful. Yet some felt so warm. Each night much like always charlotte would slink out of the room, to let the team rest without screams. Now normally most would assume she would slink off towards the city to stalk prey or drink the night away. However the last couple she slinked herself to the school counselor.
Charlotte was smart enough to know when she needed help to help the team. Her sleepless nights where affecting them. Least in charlotte's mind. The abstract picture from zylah that charlotte got after returning from one of these.. Scandalous trips she had been taking. The image itself wasn't great but the intention behind it was pure. A pure notion that charlotte didn't fully understand. So much so that she would even ask the counselor why she hurt looking at the photo... the mess and paint everywhere didn't even phase the scorpion. If anything she was partly curious about it all but she swallowed that feeling and murdered it.
Back to current time. The airship had lurched slightly into the air as all do. The scorpion didn't even seem phased. Her dark blue hair covering her ears and casting a light shadow over her red eyes. Vance seemed to be somewhat worried. Or excited. Charlotte always got those two emotions confused in others. Maybe the correct term was a mix of both? Worited? It's not like charlotte felt uneasy. But that was due to her already not looking forward to Felix Zylah Jaaz and lunia sticking fiercely together. The click of a camera snapped the scorpions attention towards vance. Just for a split second. Only catching the frame for a split second and her stomach instantly flipping upside down.
The voice was there. Quiet. Slowly getting louder. The want to kill. No. The NEED to kill.
This momentary distraction of the commander speaking and giving the battle plans. Managed to drag charlotte out of her internal bubble. The instructions were simple. Her team and Gold where the vanguard. ”Good… i can kill..” She whispered to herself mostly. Though at least now she could notice lunia was down. A light tap on her back from charlotte was the only encouragement she could give to her captain. A Ever so slight smile. Her own eyes trying to stay steeled and show nothing. ” No we are not doing that.. If i heard you wanting to demo the walls.. Also we should get moving to the point shouldn't we?” Her tone was a little bit louder. Though her throat did tense up slightly. Causing her words to peter out almost as if she was afraid near the end. That wasn't at all the emotion running through her. But she had no idea how to express the correct one. ”Anyway.. Yeah.. Mission.. Lets go vanguard right?.. It might be fun”

Adam slowly turned his head to Cecil in a creepy fashion. "A 5? That perfection you saw and that transition into this cool pose deserves a 5? Cecil, I think you need ya eyes checked. That was obviously a 5.3." he snickered. As more and more people began to fill the grounds Adam saw familiar faces. There were Danae and Narx for starters. And then there was a girl with long black hair and blu - oh wait that's Azura. Just before Adam was about to explain why he felt he deserved the .3 on his landing to Cecil Azura made her way to her below zero boyfriend. Lacing her finger between his Adam could see a faint, a very faint, blush. "Gettin' a little hot, Cecil?" Adam chuckled as he elbowed his side. Azura took the initiative and introduced DARK as Ridley fell in line on time. Well, a better way to put it is dropped in. The dark-skinned hunter-in-training looked over to his leader and scanned her up and down. The gleam in her golden eyes and smirk on her face showed she was about to say something smart. Amplified by the hand on the hip. That was new. And she didn't disappoint. "If you ever turn me to stone put me in the dorm as a glorified coat rack. It's all ya boy has ever wanted to be." he smiled. Adam took a closer look at Ridley and internally sighed. She seemed so tired and distracted. A feeling of paranoia shrouded her at times. With his past, he's seen his fair share of people bottling themselves. Hell, he's done it. But his worry for her grew as the days went on. Since the infirmary, she hasn't been...herself. She's forced a mask of personality at times, but he could see the cracks in the facade. The way she looks around as if someone is watching her. How jumpy and cold she could be when she swimming in a sea of thoughts. Her mornings usually began battling her blankets and falling out of her bed. Literally every day. It was worse now. Like she was actually fighting a person. A person she couldn't reach and desperately fought with every breath. Every time he wants to ask, but Ridley is a locked book and prying will only damage it. You'll know only what she wants you to know and nothing beyond that. Oh yeah! It was his turn for a joke now. "So that's why it takes you so long to get ready in the morning. You're trying to convince that snake nest you call a head to cooperate, huh?" he began to match her in later after her salute. Though Adam was extremely worried this back and forth between the two couldn't stop and wouldn't stop. It always pushed what they were feeling at the moment down below the surface and jokes and into the depths of things they wanted to suppress rather they liked it or not. He didn't know if that was for the better or for the worst. if that was a good thing or a bad thing. But, like always, that was a topic for a different time. "Whatever you say, malevolent leader." he said coming down from his laugh. Mr. Goofy matched Adam quite well. Anyone who followed her gesture towards Adam would have gotten a quick glimpse of him playing hackysack with a rock. Once, he realized eyes were on him, he'd quickly let the rock fall and straighten his posture. Whistling a tune that said 'I'm not doing anything' and looking around with no clear direction. His eyes fell to the cave and memories came back. Of course this time he was a part of Team SODA. The first mission where he met his current team. He wouldn't replace them for the world. They accepted him with open arms without knowing a thing about him. Things could've gone better in the first mission; investigating an old mining shaft. Falling down a hole, Cecil getting hurt, Ridley getting impaled by a beam, said beam being assaulted by his old team leader while jammed into Ridley's abdomen. Yeah, things could've smoother. Adam barely listened to anything the superiors had to say. Not because he didn't respect them, he was just in his own world. He snapped out of it and turned to look at his team. "So, we're gonna keep our eyes out for traps this time, right?" he said joking about their first mission with a smile.
Danaë would turn around. Her man was there, and he seemed happy. Narx said that they were in for a treat today. She couldn't help but grab her hidden necklace. "I mean, you say that, but in our last mission, we failed...horribly. I can't help but feel that the same thing is gona happen again." Her eyes were downcast. To her, it was her leadership, and her lack of priorities that caused the issue. "I'll try to be better this time." This time, she was a leader with her brother. He was a master of making plans. He could help them maybe not get too injured. Then again, Her and Eve were injury magnets. At least Eve could heal her own wounds.
She was about to speak up, and then she heard it. "I was going to say that we should go with Dark, but the decision is now out of may hands." She would give Narx a quick hug, and then start to move towards team Dark. They were all here, while Eve and Asger seemed to still be in the plane.
"We should wait for Asger and Eve, since they don't know who team Dark are." It disturbed her that Asger had no memories still. Then again, her own memories were hazy from when she got the scar on her head. Narx had no memories of his life before beacon. The only one that had all their memories was Eve. Were they really team Memory loss? She couldn't help but giggle at the thought in her head.

Narx saw a flitter of pink from the corner of his eye just a tad too late. SOme girl ran past him in a blur and he tripped on his own feet and fell over. What was going on? His hair fell into his eyes. It made it look like he had just gotten out of bed, but it suited him and framed his face handsomely. He groaned and pushed himself back up to his feet."Maybe this won't be so great..." He mumbled, but didn't want to encourage Danaë's negative outlook."We'll do just fine this time. I doubt anything too crazy will happen. Just explorin' a cave afterall. Might be a few grimm, but nothing too intense I think."Narx said as he followed his lovely feathered girlfriend towards team DARK. "I'm getting some weird vibes from this bunch." He said as his eyes took notice of Charlotte. Something about her gave him the creeps. Her aura was like a deep fog of thick mucus, but when was he ever good at sensing that kind of stuff? He shrugged and looked over for the new teammates. One was supposed to be Asger, and the other, he wasn't sure who they were really.
Narx cracked his neck and listened to those around them. The shark teacher was being pretty loud. He overheard Rachel call Aurtrox the Big Bird which made him chuckle. He was so going to steal that. No offense to the man, but he had some odd mannerisms that made him stick out."Adam!"Narx shouted as he spotted his friend. "My man! How's life rollin?!"He held his hand out for a fist bump, he still wasn't good with how people greeted each other these days, but it was fun learning new customs. "We about ready to head down? "He wasn't sure what was going on in the chaos except that some people were starting to head to the entrance. Were they really descending already? Maybe they should get on that too.

No one stared at her, however, she heard the clicking of a Camera. If she hadn't fully padded her back, black with fear would have appeared behind her. She didn't want their picture to be taken. She didn't want Vale coming after them. Her umber orbs would narrow towards the human with white hair and blue eyes. "Please don't show people pictures of me." Ora and Felix were still on the run....technically. She had no clue what would happen if they got captured...
Lunia then appeared next to her. She seemed disappointed that Jazz wasn't going to be there, however, he might be doing something for Ora. She felt a little guilty. Jazz was going to look into things for her, as to why Narx was the way he was. Jazz knew that she was a demon. Not from the actual pits of hell, but from one that felt like hell on earth. Lunia said that at least they kept things together. That was true, but it also felt like the closer they got to people, the more danger that was brought to them.
Then they found out that Rachel was going to be joining them. Ora couldn't help but cringe. They had kinda blown off the teacher when they were supposed to talk to her about the tattoo on the back of her neck. This wasn't the time to talk about it together. There were people here that shouldn't get involved in the bullshit that was how they grew up. "I know we missed our meeting time, but can we talk after the mission?" Ora didn't want to make it seem like she had been delaying the meeting indefinitely.
Then Charlotte would show up. The black Aura that wanted to radiate from her back almost exploded. That woman was fear incarnate. How everyone was ok with how things were confused her. Panic could clearly be seen on Ora's face, however, she tried to hold it together. She couldn't stop her feat from moving behind her slightly taller brother. She was going to say something about him being leader, but it was strangled out of her by fear.
Adam waited for his teams response and then he heard a familiar voice. "Is that who I think it is?!" he shouted into the air without turning around. Cupping the side of his mouth with one hands to throw the voice farther into the air. Our caramel Cassanova turned to see two people he could start to call friends. Granted, with the man initiating the contact it was a bit of a rocky start. With the whole, you know, 'you should use your Semblance on Adam' thing. He was trailed by his affectionate avian girlfriend Danae. After the whole Aura Class incident they all had lunch together as 'Friendenemies ' or something like that. Adam wasn't sure how the lunch ended...or if it did at all. Regardless, they were all in good standing. He locked eyes with both persons, not at the same time of course, and sent them a beaming smile. A type of smile that you would give friends you would only see during the Summer. Or something akin to that. The dreadhead matched Narx's fistbump with enthusiasm. "That's what I'm talkin' about now that's how you say hi!" he beamed throwing his arm around Narx with a good laugh. "Life's rollin' on four wheels with no gas!" he chuckled. "I hope everything is straight on your end." the chocolate clown replied. Adam looked to Danae and waved happily. "Don't caller her Hooters. Don't call her Hooters. Don't call her Hooters!" he repeated in his head like a mantra. "'Sup, Danae! How's it goin'!" he asked."Good job! Now you won't get cut!" he internally praised."Dealin' with this one can't be easy!" he said pointing at Narx with his thumb. He laughed a bit at Narx's expense. Were they ready to head down? It seemed they were missing some people. "Don't you wanna wait for your other partners? Unless you guys are a couple team at this point?" he more so asked. Adam took his arm from around Narx and stretched out a bit. "Y'know, this a'int my first time in a cave. If you get scared just come to me." he joked pointing at himself. "Things that go bump in the night tell scary stories about me. More so my morning breath, but scary stories anyway." he joked.
Azura Knight For once it was Cecil blushing and not Azura, and it made her rather proud of herself. Maybe she would soon graduate to making it through your average conversation without turning several shades of crimson. She could only be thankful they had yet to find a Grimm who could talk, for it would surely defeat her with a few embarrassing words. Azura returned Lena's thumbs up with a smile. "I'm surprised more people don't pump themselves up with music pre-battle." She noted. It seemed like a good way to get the adrenaline flowing. However, the conversation was cut off as a Commander Adao addressed the gathered students.
Azura took an immediate disliking to the commander, mostly because he called them all pipsqueaks, which she found to be rather unnecessary and rude. It was partially smoothed over though when he announced the same team arrangement that Azura had thought would be best. She could feel a small glow of pride at that fact, though she'd never admit it out loud. Professor Anderson started shouting for the two vanguard teams, and Azura addressed Lena once more. "It looks like your team will be taking point. Good luck! Team DARK has got your back." She told the team JOLD member.
She wasn't too sure what to make of the Valian Knight - 300. While the two vanguard teams started to get ready to repel and Adam loudly greeted Narx and Danae, Azura carefully watched the robot. Taking advantage of the noise Adam and Narx were making she leaned in close to Cecil and whispered softly so only he could hear her. "A lifeline or a spy?" She asked him. She wasn't normally the suspicious type, but something about the prototype bothered her. She knew their scrolls wouldn't work underground and it would be wise to still have a way to communicate to the surface but... She just couldn't help but feel like the android was there to gather data on them.
Then she straightened to address Narx and Danae - it would be rude to continue her conversation with Cecil while the others were there. "Narx, Danae, it is a pleasure to see you guys again." She greeted formally. Adam already brought up the subject of their missing team members so Azura refrained from also pointing it out. They would have a bit of time while the Van repelled into the cave, but not much longer. Had the new member of sweet missed the airship? How were they going to get there if they did?
