Personality Overview :

As a pup, Sundog was a princess. Daughter to the alpha, she used her position every chance she can to get her way. Slightly bossy, both with adults and other pups, she seemed to think that everyone else was around just to serve her. This lead her to be somewhat lazy, and she tended to stick around the pack cave. Small visions were prevalent in her young life due to her seer nature, and this gave her another excuse for her to contribute as little as possible.

Once Sunny has completed her year away, she has much more world experience and knowledge on her seer powers. Her attitude is a 180 from her young self and she is ever trying to discover more about her abilities in order to aid the pack.

Personality Overview :

Softer than Cream has a scathing tongue and an equally scathing outlook on life. Not one to mince words, his caustic nature makes it hard for him to get along with anyone. Sure, if he wants something from you he can play the endearing part... for a while. But when he gets bored he's back to his bitter jaded self. He hates his name, so he just goes by Cream...and his smaller size doesn't lend itself for fighting or bravery. So he'll more than likely go after one when their back is turned. He has an infatuation with Misery, perhaps just because he needs something more terrible than him to cling to.

History :

Softer Than Cream grew up in a litter of boys, and although this parents named him for the light parts of his coat (an anomaly since all his siblings were pure black), nothing stopped his brothers from endlessly teasing him. Calling him softy and picking on him whenever they got the chance. His parents, although packless, were attentive and did their best to mitigate the attention, but they couldn't always be around. It didn't help that he also was the runt of the litter too. As they grew, Cream could more often then not be found slinking around behind the others, bitter at the lot of them. It was at this time that Misery appeared before him. Enthralled with her power and beauty, he followed her away from his family, not hesitant in the slightest. Despite her general disinterest in him, he continues to follow her. Along their journey, he met Shooting Star and had a one time thing. He has no idea he's a father since they parted shortly after meeting.

Personality Overview :

Rough, Misery loves nothing more than a chance to test her strength. She goes out of her way to cause chaos, and loves nothing more than watching others try to deal with the consequences. She has gone out of her way, more than once, to actively thwart others ambitions just because she can. Although not physically sadistic, she does enjoy mentally tormenting others just to see them squirm...so finding someone to anger or humiliate is very fun for her. More than a little misandristic, her victims tend to be male more often then not. This also means that she'd rather spend her affection on other females, unless the male can prove his worth.

History :

Misery grew up in a Patriarchal Wayland Beserker Clan. Her youth was typical, with everything, from the day to day meal, to the sleeping spot at night, being decided by brute strength. Misery excelled. She was both ruthless enough and cunning enough to oust whomever stood in her way, and as such, was well fed and sheltered. She was so good that soon she even outmatched her brothers and the males in her clan. So when their clan leader proposed a union between her and another, in which she would be have to take his surname, she scoffed in their leaders face. Like she would stoop to a weaker wolfs authority. With a snarl, the she-wolf left the clan without a backwards glance, heading out to the Waylands and beyond. She has since found a few males worthy of her attention, but her affection tends to fall to her own sex. Even the straggler, Cream, who follows her relentlessly, seems to be little more than a play-toy for her rather than a true companion or equal.

Personality Overview :

First Light takes responsibility to heart, but goes about his duties with a sense of levity about him. Personality Overview :

One Little Snag is quite the submissive wolf despite the strength of both his parents. He'd rather avoid conflict, and will immediately back down as soon as challenged. This trait isn't apparent though, as he comes off with a very laissez-faire attitude anyway and is so passive that one might get the impression that he's rather just too unconcerned with any firm opinion to fight for it. Which is mostly true. He does hold some values close to his heart, but they are so well kept that perhaps even he doesn't remember what they are. Either way, there are few things that will motivate this wolf to get involved and he'd rather just watch the world go by than participate in it.

Although she may never open up completely to others, she is a very gentle, kind soul deep down. Due to her solitary nature, she has adapted to a nocturnal lifestyle. She tends to sleep all day (either in the den, or in the sun) and is up all night, scouting or standing guard.

History :

Tawny grew up in a little loving family of wolf-dogs, but like all pups, there was a time for her to venture out on her own. She soon learned the world wasn't as safe as the den she grew up in. Although no drastic events changed the she-wolf, gradually she became a bit more reclusive and shy of strangers. During a particularly foul bit of weather, she stumbled upon Ice Wave and when they found themselves at Hornfels she decided to stay put there.

Personality Overview :

Truth's Lament doesn't project emotion. Her tone, her inflections hold nothing of her thoughts or feelings. Some would go as far as to think that she doesn't feel anything. She does, but emotions are buried deep and only come out when she sings. Her personal songs are eerily beautiful, showing the depth of sorrow lurking within. They are wistfully melancholic. For her daily Chanter activities, she performs them to satisfaction but she is neither competitive nor lazy, merely methodical in what needs to be accomplished. Personality Overview :

Moonshine is generally a very calm wolf, who is pretty neutral when it comes to meeting others and fairly level-headed overall. For the most part. In love though, he's a bit of a mess and can become overwhelmed. Strong emotions have always been a distant thing, so he doesn't have the ability to cope with them well. However, he tries hard, and is devoted to the extreme, putting his own wants and needs behind those who he cares about. Fatherhood becomes him, and he seems to glow whenever his pups are near-by...though it's generally happiness tinged with anxiety.

History :

Moonshine doesn't remember much of his puppy-hood but his younger days were times of survival as he fended for himself. Although neither particularly friendly with strangers, nor standoffish, Moonshine dealt with life by focusing on the day-to-day.

So it was a shock when he saw Wineberry and was struck by "love at first sight". Despite her insistence that she didn't need or want him around, after weeks of his ceaseless persistence, slowly she opened up her heart to him. When she finally did accept Moonshine, they were happy together for several weeks. But doubts begin to creep their way into Wine's mind and one night she frantically leaves. Moon, heartsick fool that he is, knows that Wineberry is his soulmate, and whatever she is going through, he needs to be a part of it. He's not letting her go that easily. So after a day or so of contemplating (a.k.a trying to figure out what he did wrong) he follows her. He has a harder time tracking her because he has no idea where she is headed or her objective.

Finally Moonshine arrives at Stonehenge, but he's too late to get in, and although he can smell Wineberry in the area, he can't seem to actually find her. He does, however, come across pups. Immediately he knows these are Wineberry and his' pups. He swears to keep them safe until her return.

However, he quickly realizes that he can't nurse the pups, and searches for another female that can... unfortunately he comes across a duo of females with a pup. Keep One Eye Open and Charred Radiance are both....unsavory wolves, but Eye had puppies not long before, so she's able to nurse Wineberry's pups. They stay for a bit but eventually begin plotting how to kill Moonshine and take the pups. Moonshine (already leery of them) keeps a close eye on the two of them so when they finally attack he's ready for it. He manages to fend off their attack for the most part, but they still manage to snatch two of the pups as they go.

Mournfully, he does not chase as he needs to care for pups still with him, and wait for Wineberry's return...and he will wait there, until whenever the veils reopens.

Personality Overview :

Ice Wave is, despite his name, a warm-hearted teddy bear of a wolf. Not the most quick witted of individuals, most things tend to fly right by him. Which might be for the best because his oblivious nature gives him the ability to love everyone. Foul words and moods just bounce off him, and nothing seems to dim his positivism. He loves to snuggle and often he will just cuddle up to whomever is closest. He has a mellow energy level and most seek him out for gentle presence.

History :

Ice Wave comes from the far east coast, where it isn't uncommon for the ocean waters to freeze before they reach land. This rather interesting occurrence prompted his parents to give him his name, Ice Wave. He grew up among plenty of family, but after a few years he decided to head out into the world for himself, since his relatives were soon too numerous for the land to support. Icy made his way inland, and throughout his travels stumbled upon a wolfdog name Tawny. Deciding to travel together (winter was coming and keeping warm is easier with two) it was through pure chance that the two of them stumbled into Hornfels Hollow amidst a blizzard. Once it was determined they could stay, they just never ended up leaving.

Personality Overview :

Eye, quite simply, is a broken wolf. Mentally all she wants to do is maim and kill others. She doesn't, usually, mainly due to her mate Charred Radiance who acts as her compass. A compass that tends to point her in the direction to turn her ferocity, as opposed to letting it run free. Eye protects her mate to the extreme, and if anything thinks to harm her they better be prepared for Eye to step in. Nothing about this wolf is kind or soft, only hard and brittle.

History :

Eye came from a very, very unhappy place which warped her mentally as a pup. When she was caste out into the world all she wanted to do was destroy...and that is what she did for years. Until Char came along and managed to soothe the rage within her. She learned to temper her anger, at least until it was appropriate to let it out. Through Char's prompting, they looked for an appropriately strong male to sire offspring with. It worked well with Firechaser until he got wind of their scheme and fled in the night taking two of the three pups with him. Instead of pursuing, the ladies decided to raise the one pup and count the others as lost causes. Whilst continuing to travel, the pair come across a lone father, Moonshine, trying to feed his newborn pups. Eye, still leaden with milk from her pups, takes on the litter (through Char's prompting). The plan was for them to kill Moonshine and take the pups as their own...a pack of minions to do their bidding. Alas, the male figures out their scheme, so when Eye makes her move he manages to fight back (mostly as Eye is still recovering from pregnancy). They do manage to take two pups, Gingerbrew and Blue Moon. They don't end up raising them for long, as both pups are anxious to be free of the duo, and after some struggles Eye and Char just decide they aren't worth it anymore and let them flee. They turn their focus to the last pup in their care, Eye's biological daughter Levity. They raise her to be an even mix of the two of them, before releasing her to the wilds. They anticipate meeting up with her in the future but for now they are continuing their nomadic travels.

Åoájá, for lack of a better term, is a pretentious snob. Think medieval high class lady who's going to look down her nose at anything or anyone not up to her standards. Personality Overview :

Old Snow is a bit of a run down old goat, who can barely hear and can only see out of one eye (it's blue, btw). Frost dragged him in during a blizzard and after thawing out, Old Snow decided that he would live out his last days in the Hollow (much to the chagrin of the alpha). He doesn't take his achy bones too far from the den, and is absolutely useless at hunting. So he gets to play babysitter while everyone is out. Which works well for him because he can advise the little whipper-snappers on how to be good, successful wolves. Most of the advice he gives is wrong, or just utterly terrible, but he has wonderful stories and all the younger wolves adore him. The older wolves, who never had him as a mentor, tend to just shake their heads in exasperation. During the summer, when most of the pack has cleared out, he's crotchety and tends to be more irritable, getting mad at anyone in his way. But during winter, when everyone is back and he is the center of attention, he practically glows with enthusiasm that makes him seem younger than his years.

What did happen in his younger years? The way he tells it, he's traveled to the ends of Kells and back ...and has experienced pretty much everything you can imagine. How much is true? Who knows!
