Marietta nodded. What the captain said was true. Some of the fiercest fighters she’d ever seen were smaller than most. It’s why she made sure to never judge based on size. It was skill and heart that mattered. She was sure Amarissa had both. Still though, she couldn’t shake the sense of unease that’d settled over her. I can’t think about it now. What’s done is done. There was no taking back the betrayal. No making it right or better. Amarissa was being sent away and Mari would likely never see her again. It was for the best. Marietta couldn’t afford to lose sight of the mission, of her chosen path. She had to forget ever meeting the girl. Both for her sake and her crew’s. “Thanks, Captain. We’re going to do that right now.” Holding up the money pouch, she bowed her head in thanks. “Safe travels. If you need more cargo, you know how to reach us.” The young girl tucked the small satchel into her pocket. With a salute, she turned and left, being sure to shut the door behind her. Making a concerted effort not to think about Amarissa being held below, Marietta strode topside to meet up with her crew who were all patiently waiting on the dock. She waved the all clear as she joined them. Without a look back, the crew of kids disappeared into the hustle and bustle of the harbor.

Damien had gotten the white haired males attention with his offer. "I have some information on he magic council that might be useful. They are trying their best to keep in quiet and let as little people as possible know but I know something. Though it comes at a price. You will have to set me free if you want the information. Turn it down and it will be to late. You could use it to gain power, or to blackmail, or to sell it off to the highest bidder if you are more interested in money." the stone mage offered, it was his best shot. He knew that after killing many of the members of the Rune knights only a day or two ago that they couldn't have replenished their numbers. Nor did it make sense that the information of their slaughtered numbers be broadcasted to the mass populous. After all there were people in the world who wanted to ruin the magic council or use their weakened state to do whatever the hell they pleased. The Siren curse mage didn't know what type of person the white haired male was before him but if anyone was interested in doing bad deeds it would only make sense, at least to him, that they would be interested in a bigger power being weakened currently. His attention didn't last long though, a few more people entered in with what looked to be potato sacks. At first Damien only gave a glance before returning his attention to the person standing before him. It wasn't until the first body hit the floor did his attention turn fully over.
First he saw a slightly conscious Rin cuffed and without his sword, a smirk started to creep on his face. The dropped on Rin's lap was an unconscious Alessandra who seemed to be having some kind of reaction to something. Not only did Damien see the blonde but his eyes were immediately draw to a necklace hung around the blonde's neck. His face turned red and eyes became blood shot at the rage that built up. "YOU B***H" The stone mage tried to lunge at the book mage. Not caring if she could hear him or not. "YOU F**KING B***H! HOW DARE YOU WEAR THAT NECKLACE!" Damien roared with absolute rage. "YOU DON'T DESERVE TO WEAR THAT! NOT AFTER WHAT YOU DID!" The stone mage was almost foaming at the mouth as he strained and struggled to get to Alessandra. "YOU'RE THE REASON SHE'S DEAD! WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO WEAR THAT?!" Even if Alessandra wasn't responding to him he didn't care, he needed her to remember that everything was her fault. "YOU COLD HEARTED, SELF CENTERED C**T! I BET SHE WOULD BE SO DISAPOINTED IN YOU! SHE WOULD HAVE HATED WHO YOU ARE NOW, YOU PEICE OF S**T!" Damien was no where near calming down as he struggled and pulled and lurched at the blonde. When he saw the faintest movement from the blonde he yelling and berating of abusive words only became more fevered. His attempts to get to her never letting up.
Alessandra remained unconscious for a long while, she was set up sitting in Rin's lap. Both her legs rested over one of his while her shoulder pressed into his chest and her head lay on his shoulder. Her hands were cuffed in her lap and her feet together. Even while unconscious Alessandra's body was dealing with the effects of the imitation venom injected into her body. Her skin would feel burning hot while her longs struggled to get air. Her body trembled lightly as she rested in her position. After several hours the blonde was starting to come to. All she could hear was yelling, it hurt her head more than what it already was. She couldn't make out the words and currently couldn't recognize the voice. The book mage tried to open her eyes but even the dim light inside hurt to much. In addition he whole body felt like it was on fire on the inside. She was in so much pain it was hard to breath. As she was gaining more of her consciousness and ability to think again she wanted to ask a simple question. She could still hear the yelling but it took to much focus to figure out the words the person was saying. Instead she just hoped someone else near by might hear her worlds. In the faintest voice, hardly even audible over Damien's yelling she asked, "Is Rin okay?" that was the only thing she had enough energy for at the moment. Alessandra remained in her position with her eyes closed just focusing on her labored breathing and trying not to focus on the pain she felt everywhere. The blonde was worried she might actually die. It sure felt like she was going to and all the yelling was not helping her pounding head either.

The captain waited in her quarters for each team to come and collect their payment, as each one did she would repeat the same warning. Waiting there until it was time to go down stairs.
((She will not be posted again until after Sept 3rd when the end date to get PCs on the boats closes. Continue to post without her in the order))
Poor child. Ciaran suppressed the smile threatening to surface. She has no idea of the dangers in this world. Unfortunately, she will discover them all too soon. She really should be more careful. Leaning forward slightly at the waist, he lowered his voice for only the child to hear. “Sometimes apologies simply are not enough. And sometimes people are not as they seem.” He would not explain any further. Merely leave her to ponder his words and her actions. The desire to destroy her mental fortitude was growing stronger, and he needed to separate himself from that. He could not risk all that he had done thus far for the momentary pleasure. Fortunately, the blue-haired male offered quite the distraction.
Ciaran observed him as he spoke. There was a slyness in his demeanor. An unethical disregard that pulsed through his every word. Yes, the older mage could sense the selfish nature of his motives. This was a man who, much as himself, enjoyed manipulation and torment for his own personal gain. He was a man who had no qualms doing what he pleased. “Information you say?” Ciaran’s brow arched. The prospect was tantalizing to be sure. To have information on the Magic Council, information that could be vital to his plans, would be quite valuable. Unfortunately, the timing of this man and his information was quite terrible. The mage was in no position at the moment to make proper use of any intelligence regarding the Council. Whatever might have been would likely no longer be by the time he was able to put the information into effect. Not only that, but he could very well not tarnish his image with the pirates in such a manner as to allow a prisoner to leave. “I am sorry,” Ciaran at last addressed Stone mage. “But I cannot help you. Not here. Not now.” There may have been a possibility if he were traveling with the boats; however, he had made it quite clear to the pirates that he would not.
Whether the bluenette heard him or not, he could not be certain. For, as the two new prisoners were unloaded and the blonde revealed, the younger mage launched into a tirade Ciaran had not bore witness to in a long while. It was obvious that he held a rage for the girl born from the loss of another. What reason and why, he did not care. Yet Ciaran was pleased he was granted the opportunity to see this side of the boy. It was important to know how volatile a prospective comrade could be. Tucking this information into the back of his mind, the white-haired male decided it would be best to take his leave for the time being. He would need to check on the other ship to see how far along they had gotten. After all, it would not be long before his...talents were needed, and he wished to make sure he could perform his duties properly without mistake. Ciaran left the ranting male to his verbal assault, sauntering out of the one ship then making his way to the other.
Rin didn’t know where he was. He didn’t know what time it was. Heck, he didn’t even know how he was. What he did know was that he was moving and that there were voices. Muddled voices that faded in and out, but they were definitely voices. He tried to move, to lift his head or an arm or anything. Nothing would budge. Probably part of the side effects of whatever drug they’d made him take. At least he was starting to come around. He’d already started to pick up on words here and there, and he definitely had a bit of feeling coming back. That much was apparent when he’d been dropped against some sort of hard surface. Wood by how rough it felt against his back. Rin had also been aware of the weight thrown onto his lap and the sharp kick to his foot. Most of the noise had died down after that, though he could still hear other voices. One voice in particular seemed to draw his focus. It was familiar but he couldn’t quite place it yet. And what about Alessandra? Where had they taken her? Was she here with him or was she somewhere else? He struggled to regain consciousness. He needed to find her, to make sure she was okay. He needed to apologize for not being able to listen to her and leave her. Most importantly, he wanted to apologize for once again putting her in danger. It was his fault...as always.
The familiar voice suddenly launched into a tirade, growing far louder and more distinct. Rin sighed as he finally recognized who it was. Seriously? Why the hell is he here? Their luck was truly terrible to end up in the same place as Damien. The Stone mage was struggling and yelling, obviously aiming his words at someone. A very specific someone. Rin forced his eyes open. He needed to be sure that it was her. He expected to find her nearby. Maybe chained up next to him. So it came as a shock to find her squarely situated in his lap. SHE had been the weight he felt. His eyes widened. His cheeks started to blush. Of all the things to wake up to, to see her laying there, hands chained in her lap and her head against his shoulder, body shaking from the venom… It was nearly too much to take in. Focus, idiot! Rin had to mentally slap himself. He needed to get it together. Ale was here with him- both good and bad- and she needed him to focus. That was a task easier said than done. His head was pounding. First thing would be first… “Shut up already, Dirt for Brains!” The bluenette glowered at the man. He wrapped his arms around Ale the best he could, cradling her in his arms, feeling her body shiver as her breaths were shallow and rapid. “Why don’t you...sit back and annoy someone else for a change…” Not that he liked wishing Damien on anyone else but enough was enough.
Feeling Ale shift in his arms, Rin peered down at her. He hated seeing her in pain. He hated even more that he was the cause of it. He started to apologize, to ask if she was okay, when she spoke instead. Rin blinked. A faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. Of course she would check on him first without giving a thought to herself. That thought was both touching and painful. Drawing in a breath, the teenager gently shook his head and gave a soft laugh. “I should be asking you that. But, yeah, I’m okay. You should get some rest right now.” He didn’t want her to have to deal with the idiot across from them. Not while she was in her current state. Rin had a feeling Damien was only just starting his ranting and raving.
Amarissa wished to somehow tell the ship owners that she was sorry with a gift in hand for them, almost certain that that would be enough for them not to keep holding hate for her. She never wanted to anger or upset anyone, and she had a guilty conscious, so she would never for even one moment stop thinking about it and what she'd done. All she ever wanted was to see everyone happy, she really didn't know how this all could of went so wrong. She didn't mean for it to end like this. Although; when the male leaned toward her and spoke softly to her, she froze for a moment, her eyes widening, kaleidoscopes in her gaze. Was it really not enough? They would never accept her apology even if it came straight from her heart? She had handled the situation so wrong, she didn't know what she could do anymore to remedy it. On the other hand, she still refused to believe Marietta had any hand in this. No, he's wrong. I don't believe that Mari had anything to do with this all, not for a moment. We were having so much fun, she was so kind, she would never do something like that. I'm sure she didn't know, she thought we had permission. I-I remember that. I hope she's safe. Just..I dunno how long I'll be here for, but I wonder how I'll be able to find her again once this is over. I miss her.. Amarissa thought to herself. She believed in Mari, but was it wrong to be calling the man a liar too? That was still awful of her, but this is what she believed in her heart. And that's not something that can be changed easily.
Amarissa felt so bad for what she had done, but why couldn't they have given them a warning? She never saw anyone, no one told her they could not be there. Maybe a sign or something stating that, but there was nothing. She quietly sat there, even with the other male shouting profanities, even when it caused her headache to hurt more with the louder he got. She wanted to clasp her hands to her ears to lessen his loud voice, but that wasn't even an option with her hands literally tied. Through all the shouting, she barely noticed more people had arrived. The female seemed to be in pain, what happened to her?? She felt so bad for her, she wanted to help her but wasn't even able to get up. How could these people be so cruel to bring someone in while in that condition?? It made no sense to her. Honestly, broke her heart just to see that poor lady. She was feeling so conflicted right now, all these mixed feelings crossing her mind. What to do, what not to do, she didn't even know anymore. She just gazed towards the ground with a sorrowful expression, fighting to hold back any tears.

Damien roared with rage as he tried he best to get closer to Alessandra, "Shut up?! No! She deserves to be reminded of the s**t person she is! You are to far blinded by your rose colored glasses to see what type of person she really is!" Damien yelled, he fists where balled up so tight his knuckles were turning white. "Wait until the time comes and you need her or until you trust her with everything. That's when she's ditch you. At your must vulnerable she will leave you to pick up the pieces of your life alone. And don't dare say she wouldn't do that or that's not the type of person she is because she already has." The stone mage hissed his venom words, "Not only that but when she leaves her luck always kills the person you are closest to. So your obnoxious sister, she might be the one. Your mom, your dad. Someone will lose their life when she leaves yours. And her?" Damien snarled, his bare hatred for her spread open while he spoke, "She won't even feel an ounce of regret, sorrow, or blame for the mess she leaves behind. She won't apologize or recognize her wrong doing. She'll live on pretending to be blames." The S-rank mage continued his yelling. His blue eyes kept locked on Alessandra, the moment she started moving his loud voice would become even louder than what someone would think. "YOU HEAR ME?! EVERYTHING IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU DO NOT GET TO LIVE YOUR HAPPY STUPID LIFE UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TAKEN AWAY." As Damien finished his sentence he caught a fraction of a second of eye contact with the blonde. Simply by her body language he could tell she heard him and she knew he was there. "DON'T THINK YOU CAN HIDE FROM ME YOU WON'T ALWAYS BE PROTECTED." Damien wanted Alessandra to know far to well that she was not going to be safe. Not for a very long time. While Damien's voice boomed in the hall of the ship his voice covered the sounds of someone walking down the step.
After she spoke the blonde heard a reply from the person she was asking about. Alessandra couldn't help but have a small smile place across her lips, "Rin..." She softly called him name her voice carrying relief in it as she listened to his words. "I would like to but all that yelling is hurting my head far more than what it already hurts." Her voice was soft, being drowned out by Damien's screaming and shouting. The voice had become recognizable as she became more aware of her surroundings. She peeked open just one eyes to cat a glimps of seething Damien looking right at her. As soon as she caught eye contact with him she closed her eye again and turned more into Rin. "I was hoping it wasn't him...." She spoke quietly into Rin's chest. The blonde didn't want to tell her best friend she was afraid of what might happen to her due to what was injected into her neck but now she was even more afraid of what Damien would do to her if she did survive. In addition to her body being in pain her heart hurt too, not from the fake venom but from the words Damien was screaming at her. The blonde blamed herself for a long time, and still blamed her self for the death of someone hey both loved. In addition she was still conflicted over her choice she made, choosing to learn her magic over returning home to comfort Damien. Whenever the memories were brought up Alessandra always question if she made the right choices that day and it was hard for her to decide. Though she knew she told a few people what happened and why she thought Damien hated her so much the blonde did try to hide her guilt over what happened. Alessandra curled more into Rin, speaking softly and keeping her face hidden as much as possible, using Rin's own body and clothes to do just that. "Please keep me safe... I don't have the strength to protect myself currently..." The book make spoke, her voice mixed with pain and the sounds of being on the verge of tears. She didn't dare look around just yet nor did she even heard the person walking down the steps.
- From out of this book a spear can be pulled, the spear is about 8 feet tall and contains blessed runes within the blade of the spear and at the end. These runes were imbued within the metal of the spear to protect them from getting damaged. When a little magic is fluxed within the weapon the runes will light up, turning the blade and the end of the spear red. Where the runes are located are hot to the touch and when the blade is swung flames fan out from it, following the ark of the blade. Just below the blade and just above the end if the spear a thin gold line is placed. The gold line is a rune infused with the gold to stop the heat of the blade and end from going into the rest of the handle. If magic is not fluxed within the spear the runes will not activate and the spear will just look like a fancy weapon.
-From this book two throwing axes can be pulled, the first axe is a sea color and within the eyes of the axe design rest two weak and small runes. Then magic is fluxed within the axe and it is thrown water from the air is gathered around it turning the thrown axe into a razor thin disk. The water around the axe will allow it to slice throw skin and cloth as if it was nothing. The water of the axe with fall away only after the blade of the axe jams into something. The second axe is a pink rose color, it looks rather girly and not very threatening. However, a powerful rune is hidden within the flower below the blade of the axe. However when thrown and jammed into something, thorns will spread from the axe and encase whatever the axe was jammed into. When the axes are swung their attack changes slightly. The water axe spirts forth burning hot water from its blade, the water following the arc of the blade. The rosy pink axe springs thorny lines from beneath the ground in cone shaped spikes. However, when magic is not fluxed into the weapons they just look like fancy axes.
From the book a hammer can be pulled, made from solid metal the hammer almost looks to fancy to be a real weapon. Both ends of the hammer let off a soft glow from a yellow lacrima that was placed inside. Between the two ends of the hammer is a disk made of a blessed rune, when magic is fluxed into the hammer the disk in the center glows a little brighter. When swung the lacrimas leave streams of light that follow the ark of the swing. When either end of the hammer meets the contact of another weapon, magic from the rune will channel to the end that is struck and flash a bright blinding light just long enough for the person holding the hammer to either move back or take another swing. The end that does not get struck will remain a dull glow. If magic is not fluxed into the weapon then the ends of the hammer will not flash as they strike other ends.
Stitch
- From the book a large selection of clothing can be pulled, there is nothing specail about the clothing. Each article is well made and tailored for what ocation it is needed for. The only thing is that the person using the book doesn't know exactly what they are getting. For the beach the person wouldn't know if they are getting a skimpy swimsuit or something that covers more, for winter they don't know if they are getting a scarf or a coat. The color and style will match that of the person who is using the book.
Claw Hammer
- From out of the book a giant soft squeaker toy in the shape of a claw hammer can be pulled. It's a giant toy meant to smack someone with but not harm them in anyways. The person getting his with it will feel like they are being smacked by a fluffy pillow that squeaks every time it hits.
- From out of the book a buckler shield can be pulled, the shield is about 12 inches in diameter and contains blessed runes on the outer side. These runes were placed on with a protection lacrima put towards the center of the shield to protect the runes. The runes in the shield as inscribed with different sets of instructions. When the shield is hit with a magic spell those runes activate, a few take the spell and absorb it, the next runes take that absorbed magic and transfer it to different runes, those runes then convert that absorbed spell and turn it into magic before another set of runes take that magic and transfers it to the person holding the shield. The process takes no more than a second for the person holding the shield to gain that converted magic. When it comes to physical attacks the runes will not activate and the shield has to be used as if it’s a normal shield.
- From out of this book a scythe can be pulled, the scythe is about 6.5 feet tall and contains cursed runes within the shaft of the weapon, in side the blade are dark lacrimas that have been enfused with the dark steel of the scythe. Twelve runes sit in the handle, when magic is fluxed into the weapon they glow purple before transerfing the magic into the lacrima within the blade. The lacrima then lets off a shadowy smoke, when swung the shadowy smoke acts as an extention for the blade. Following behind the scythe's blade the smoke takes on a blade like quality and will slice anything that does not move out of its way. In addition when a target gets struck by the scythe while magic is fluxed in it the shadowy smoke begings to infect the target, slowyly draining the warmth from the body. When magic id not fluxed into the scythe it only takes warmth from the targets body when the blade makes contact with skin.
- From the book a bow could be pulled, at either end of the bow are small blessed runes giving the bow it’s chilling effect and creates a string of icy magic while in the middle is a large blessed rune that creates the icy arrow when the magic string is pulled back. The arrows formed by the three runes are made out of pure magical ice, they fly as straight as a regular arrow but much faster from the design it takes on. The magic in the arrow forms it with a needle point tip. As the arrow hits the target the tip of it begins to fan out to cause more damage until it comes to a stop. If the arrow goes all the way through the target the tip fans out into a disk so it cannot be pulled out. The person holding the bow does not need to flux any of their own magic into the bow and arrows to create them. However, if the person does flux their own magic into the bow and the arrows then the arrows take on a freezing effect. When the arrow strikes the target the outer side of the wound begins to freeze while ice spikes begin to form on the inside of the wound.
- From the book dark brown, black, and gold armor can be pulled. The armor conforms to the shape of the person who is going to be wearing it. The armor contains a green rune with shadow magic inscribed on it. Whoever puts the armor on will meld into the shadows and can move from shadow to shadow with ease and stealth. Their body becoming part of the shadows as they wear the armor. However, if expremly bright light is shined onto the person wearing the armor then it will begin to drain the magic of the person wearing it. It does this because the run is trying despratly to blend in with the shadows nearby. If the person is no longer able to sustain the armor with magic then armor will vanish causing the person wearing it to faint.

While the captain sat in her quarters she could hear the faintest of yelling, she stayed there for a moment listening to where it was coming from. Once she determined if it was inside or outside her ship and if it was coming from the deck or the hall she would stand up. Moving swiftly and quietly the captain would grab one of her crew members and quietly walk down the steps. Once she was were all their cargo was at the captain would scan around the room, seeing a young man with black hair screaming at either a blue haired young man or the blonde haired woman sitting in his lap. She sighed with annoyance she she began to walk in, "Alright. Enough of the yelling or you'll lose your tongue." The captain spoke with annoyance and authority. Unfortunately the young man who was doing the yelling started mocking her and calling her a child. The captain sighed and with a quick motion stabbed Damien in the chest with the dagger on her hip. The captain nailed him in the space just above his heart and just below his shoulder. It wasn't deep enough to be serious but it would most definitely hurt. "I wasn't asking. I was telling you." While Damien was in the process of recovering from the surprise hit the crew member she brought down quickly took off his bandana he was wearing and tied it in Damien's mouth. Making a gag to keep him quiet. "Now I don't want to hear anymore yelling. Instead I have some question I will want to be asking you all here shortly. If you're all good and answer them wisely things may turn out to be in your favor! But its your decision." The captain stated as she began walking around the hall, looking at all the mages the had snagged from different parts of the world.
Typical Damien. He always had to be the thorn in their side. No matter what the circumstance, he had to make it about himself and his desires and screw anyone else. Rin despised the man. Not simply because of his selfishness but also because of how he treated Alessandra. All the bile and vitriol spewing from the Stone Mage’s mouth was unwarranted and completely outrageous. He didn’t know how the man could hate Ale so much. He couldn’t figure out why he felt such terrible things towards her. Ale was nothing but kind and caring, willing to do anything she could to protect others. She wasn’t remotely like the picture Damien was painting of her. His mind had twisted somewhere along the way until he became what he was, choosing to lay the blame at her feet for it in the process. Rin held his best friend closer to his chest, tightening his hold. He couldn’t explain Damien’s revulsion for the girl but he sure as hell would shield her from it as best he could. “Either shut the hell up or I’ll figure out a way to make you,” the Devil Slayer snapped. He kept his voice at a low rumble so as not to cause Ale’s headache to worsen, though his words were harsh and filled with their own venom. “If you put half as much time into thinking about what you’re saying instead of yelling like an idiot, you might see how stupid you sound all the time. Ever stop to think that maybe you’re the reason your life is crap?” He doubted Damien thought passed his next sentence half the time. Then again, that’s how people like him operated. They never took into account their own roles in creating their misery.
Rin shook his head and looked away. He wasn’t about to get into a shouting match with the other bluenette. Ale needed him to be calm and focused. “Don’t worry,” he whispered. “I’ll protect you no matter what.” The teenager squeezed her arm very gently, trying to comfort her. He tried not to show how concerned he was for her. The continuous shivering and warmth of her skin didn’t bode well. What the hell had been in that vial? As he pondered that, his gaze swept over the rest of the cargo hold, pointedly ignoring the area with his nemesis in it. It was the first time he noticed the other mages; in particular, the tiny blue-haired girl with a stuffed animal. They’re even taking kids too?! These people were a whole new level of bad news if they were okay with kidnapping kids. Rin hardly had time to wrap his mind around the notion though. The door to the cargo hold swung open, revealing a small woman and a taller man. By the way the woman commanded Damien, Rin had to assume she was the captain of the ship. Yep, he mentally confirmed once she’d stabbed the Stone mage, Definitely the captain. He utilized every ounce of discipline he had not to smirk at the other’s surprised expression. Of course Damien would plow headlong into trouble without considering the consequences. Although he wouldn’t say it outright, the Devil Slayer felt like he’d had that coming for a while now. Rin shifted his attention to the captain. His hold on the blonde stayed firm while he listened to what the woman had to say. Questions? He frowned thoughtfully. That...doesn’t sound too good. But neither did the implied threat.
boat crew + other captives xxxx on ship xxxx terrified
Amarissa's headache only began to ache ten times more when that male she had met earlier kept shouting. If only she could cure whatever it was that was affecting him so. As long as it did not hurt another in any way, because she could not guess the reason it could be. Still, she hated seeing others hurting in any way. He was clearly in a rage, unhappy about something, but was unable to figure out what exactly that was. Her mind was aloof right now, not really settling on one thing or another. She could not properly focus. All these emotions scattering her mind, fear, guilt, and she felt unable to stop them. There was nothing she could do to remedy the situation, except hope some light comes out of all of this. Amarisa knows whole heartily what she did was wrong, but failed to understand in what way the others here had done anything wrong. There was a feeling of wanting to help them all, but lacking the ability to. Her chains did not feel so tight, but at the same time, she was unable to free herself from them.
For a moment, she failed to recognize what was going on around her or being said, as she kept trying to think of something she could do to keep these people from harboring there hate that they likely held. She never stopped trying to come up with something. Even if it wouldn't work, she wanted to at the very least give it a try, and see where it went. But she couldn't think of anything, not one thing. The feeling of being stuck entangled her mind, never going to be able to set herself free, by the looks of it. Despite being lost in thought, Amarisa glanced over as what appeared to be the captain, as she strode down the hall with purpose, and probably one of her workers following closely in suit. Finally, she could apologize to the captain from the bottom of her heart, and maybe they would forgive her actions? That was the hope.
That was...until she outright stabbed that man she had met earlier..for just screaming loudly. That was no reason to just stab someone out of the blue! It left her feeling traumatized, her eyes were widening in total fright. That look on his face too, he was so hurt from that, she could not bare to see what transpired, as she looked away frantically. All she wanted to do in the moment was plead not to hurt him, but she could not even get one word out of her mouth. Amarisa felt completely frozen, no matter how much she willed to speak up and do her best to protect him, she could not get herself to say it. It was mostly for fear she could be next, should she make an attempt to speak it. It was selfish of her, she did not care to protect herself over another, but still she lacked the ability. She felt so bad for him, but she was not able to do anything other than feel frightened in this very moment. On top of that, they announced they would be coming around to ask questions, she would have to find her voice eventually.
"My fault? MY FAULT?" Damien spat before erupting in crazed laughter. "The day she decided to turn her back on me and my family is the day my mother died. I had to find out on my own the whole d**n reason some muggers killed my mom was because they were after her. And you know what? She didn't come back, she didn't even come to the funeral! No letter, nothing for twelve d**n years and I'm the stupid sounding one?! I see her again and what's her first response? It wasn't I'm sorry, it wasn't saying she shouldn't have left! No it was a d**n cheery smile and a 'ThIs Is MyBeSt FrIeNd!' But I'm the stupid one." Damien mocked Rin before his attention was drawn to someone who had walked in front of him. It was a little girl, demanding that he spot yelling. "Ohoho, and what are you going to do about little girls? Where's your mommy?" He was not taking her seriously; the stone mage had turned his gaze to the person with her before he felt a sharp pain. The surprise stunned him for a moment before rage started to quickly take its place. When the S-Rank opened his mouth to start yelling a bandanna was put in his mouth and tied behind his head. Muffled yells or range and red face along with bulging blood vessels were the only indicators that Damien was furious. He could say or do anything and was ultimately forced to sit there looking angry.
Alessandra could hear every word Damien was saying, and although he could feel Rin holding her tightly; shielding her from Damien. The blonde still felt jabs of pain in her chest. She wanted to explain so much, she wanted to tell Damien how she didn't find out about her nanny's death until halfway through her trip. She wanted to explain to him that she did ask to leave for a short while in order to attend the funeral and how she was told if she left she wouldn't be let back in. She wanted to tell him that she wrote letter to him every day but they always were returned back to her. And she wanted to tell him that when she was able to leave she spend years trying to find him on her own. But Alessandra felt none of this would reach him, the damage was done. She couldn't turn back time and heal old wounds. The blonde stayed where she was, taking the verbal assault. Once all fell silent that's when the blonde looked up. Her eyes had to adjust to the dim light but once they did she felt like she had entered into a whole different nightmare. The hall of the boat was packed with barrels and rolls of rugs, all the free spaces were taken up with people. It was cramped with to many people crowded into the small space. She felt a pain in her chest that grew rapidly as a tingling panicked feeling crawled up her spine to the back of her head. Her breathing began to get irregular while her vision started close in. She felt like everything was drawing closer, she felt like there was little oxygen in the hall, she felt like her personal space was non-existent. Alessandra closer her eyes tight as she gripped onto Rin's shirt. Her body was already suffering from what was injected into her and now she was having a panic attack. In attrition to the three types of pain she was already experiencing. Mental, emotional, and physical; she also felt worried because she couldn't remember why tight spaces with lot of people bothered her. She knew she had a memory but her mid was racing to much for her to help herself pinpoint why.

The captain asked the small child, she would keep mental notes on how gave what answer in order to report it back to the helping hand they have.
