Yami's control over his Aura was more than Igor could have imagined. The young hunter never ceased to amaze Igor, as his potential was far greater than the old Hunter could have expected even as an outside observer. "Next step?" He mused, rubbing his chin softly as he paced the room. "Yes... I think you're ready. You never fail to impress me. Now we'll see you put all those lessons to good use."
Rummaging through his pocket, Igor produced a glass cup. He stepped into the bathroom and filled the cup with water, and with his other pocket the man pulled out a small leaf. With the gentlest gesture his big hands could muster, the man dropped the leaf onto the surface of the water. He turned to Yami. "Come here. Focus your aura into your hands, and put them around the cup here. Regardless of your Nen type, just pray that you can hold your own against me once you work your a** off."

Training
Hatsu (発, Release) Once learned, one would have the ability to awaken their true Nen abilities and have mastery over the Nen of the Flame Techniques. This technique, while having no direct application, allows a character to apply for a Custom Hatsu Ability. Technique Type: Nen Point Cost: Passive Requirements: The master will set a glass filled to the brim with water with a single leaf floating atop, and ask the trainee to hover their hands just around the outside of the glass. The trainee will perform Ren in their hands. The water will exhibit one of six traits. Depending on the trait, the user is a different type of Nen user. If the volume of the water changes, the user is an Enhancer. If the taste of the water changes, the user is a Transmuter. If impurities appear in the water, the user is a Conjurer. If the color of the water changes, the user is an Emitter. If the leaf moves on the water's surface, the user is a Manipulator. If a completely different change appears, the user is a Specialist. The trainee must make at least a 300 word post detailing this process.

Yami Matsuoda [ Outlaw Hunter | Level 2 Hunter ] This next stage was was tad underwhelming for Yami. He stared at the glass in front of him for a few moments before turning to looks at Igor. "You seriously mean that this is the final stage? That's ********' whack, man. Whatever, I guess I'll give it a shot." Yami approached the glass and stalled for a few seconds before putting his hands just about an inch away from the glass. He pumped aura into each hand. He could feel that his body was beginning to lose a lot of the aura that he had before. Perhaps he used too much of it. With his application of Ren seeming to smoothly, he watched to see waht would happen to the glass. At first there was no effect. Yami began to grow irritated, but suddenly here a voice in his head. It was a familiar voice. Behold my power. Imbibe now, the drink of gods." It was Bacchus' voice that he could here. As Yami snapped his attention back to his hands and the glass, he could feel an influx of aura in his body that would then begin to pour out from his hands, consuming the glass entirely. The water would begin to change its hue, becoming slightly darker, growing eventually to the darkest of red. Blood? Did he just create blood? Yami stopped his flow of Ren and grabbed the glass in his left hand. He lifted it and brought the glass to his nose. He inhaled and smelled the strong aroma of alcohol and fruit. "I... Did I really...?" Yami stuttered for a moment before plucking the leaf from the glass and then taking a sip of the strange liquid. Wine! It was wine! He had actually turn water into wine! Yami immediately down the entire glass. It was potent. He could really feel his body warm up, but he didn't get inebriated at all from its effects. Perhaps he couldn't create alcohol with his Nen this way, but Yami was sure he could succeed in that if we could make shitty wine from water.
"So I turned water into wine. You impressed yet, old man?" Yami grinned and set the glass back onto the table. He tossed the leaf into the air behind him letting it fall wherever it may. Yami was certain now. He had power and he was going learn to use it. Once he does, then he'll be able to have anything he wanted in life. He began to laugh. "Ha ha ha ha! Well I guess you were right. I do have potential. And you know what? Whatever Nen type I am, I'm sure that one day I'm gonna take you down!" Yami was ready for the journey ahead of him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the foxbear teeth. He held them in his hand and focused on his Ren just as he had been through this exercise and crushed them all in his hand. He threw the shattered collection of teeth onto the ground below and decided he wasn't going to kill beasts anymore as a job. He'd have to step up his game. It was time to hunt people. And what better way to do that than to start with some criminals. Whether or not he'd kill them would be decided in the moment, but if he wanted a solid pay day then he would probably have to learn to take them in alive.

Igor wasn't quite sure what he was expecting out of the boy with water divination. Part of him imagined Yami to be an Enhancer, solely due to his rambunctious nature, or perhaps even an Emitter. He watched with a bemused smirk on his face as the water in the glass started to change color. Something was different about this, compared to the water reaction to an Emitter. Even from across the room he could smell the different quality to the water - it was a familiar, fermented smell that could only mean one thing - this boy was likely a Specialist, having been able to turn water into wine.
After Yami took a sip of it, Igor approached the boy from behind as he inspected the glass. "Yes... wine indeed. You're a specialist, how interesting." He said as he picked up the glass and took a sip. Bold aromatic flavours danced around his tongue as a wave of warmth traveled through his chest. Setting the glass back down, Igor crossed his arms over his chest. "Did you ever doubt me, Yami? I wouldn't have wasted even a second of my time on any little s**t that could kill a Foxbear."
Heading back to the bed, Igor picked up his coat and slung it over his shoulder casually. "Now the only chance you'll ever get at trying to take me down is if you train, so get off your a** and get to work. I'll be back when you're ready." He said, his back turned ot Yami the entire time as he made his way to the door. "My number's on that phone. Call me if you need anything... but best not to need anything, boy. You ain't jack s**t if you cant make your way up the ranks with your own blood sweat and tears."

Yami Matsuoda [ Outlaw Hunter | Level 3 Hunter ] Igor had said some strange stuff as he walked out the door and the one thing Yami chose to explicitly ignore was the remark about getting to work imediately. There was no way that Yami was going to get to work after all that training. In fact, he had been awakened from a very necessary slumber to do all this! Yami flopped his body onto the bed and closed his eyes. He began to mull over the events that had just taken place. In the matter of that short while Yami's world had grown to an unimaginable size compared to before. New dreams were to be had now that he knew about the world of Nen users and he himself becoming a Nen user. But who exactly was this Igor fellow? Yami knew they would cross paths in the future. That was guaranteed. Yami would hunt him down just to show him his progress once he had actually achieved a lot for himself.
Yami had fallen asleep rather quickly after his quick journey into thought. In the morning he would awake to an unusually refreshed body. He knew this had to do with his aura being awaken. He felt lighter, stronger, and healthier. If this was how he was always going to feel, then his sobriety wouldn't be so bad. And on the topic of Yami's sobriety, he really began to crave something to drink. It had been a while since he had a decent drink (since the night before) and he was in dire need. He didn't count the wine from the training because it didn't get him even the slightest bit drunk. As he began to wish for a drink, a shining, golden light appeared in front of him. It coalesced from a swirling, hazy aura into a small sphere of golden, swirling energy. From the bottom of the sphere protruded a small clay object. Yami reached out to grab at it when it fell and caught the thing just before it fell onto the bed. He lifted it to his face to inspect it and the first thing that came to his senses was the strong smell of alcohol. What he had in his hand was a cub of hot sake. Ecstatic over this, he shot the booze down his throat and let out a satisfied sigh. As he did so, the cup dissipated into golden energy and disappeared along with the golden sphere.
"That... is gonna come in handy." Yami got up from the bed and patted down his clothing to flatten out some of the wrinkles and then walked toward the door. He had a boat to catch and some asses to kick. It was time to start his new line of work as an Outlaw Hunter.
