Gritting his teeth slightly Shesha wanted to snap at him that he wasn't sure what he wanted at the moment... but he knew that would sound childish and vague. Instead he glanced away, teeth clenched, as he tried to find the right words. Something that was hard to do when Aqio just kept talking, telling him that he didn't want Shesha to return his feelings but instead he wanted him to use them. Damn it but this was getting confusing and aggravating. He was only too happy to use everyone around him, to treat them all like stepping stools to get what he wanted. He would meet with a person, use them up, and move on... but the damn fish... why had he kept him around so long? Since the two of them were damned prentices and he was still here! Turning to glance the way of Aqio he gave a sighing sound, "So now you're trying to distract me by shedding layers, little fish? Isn't that more of a play I should be making?" Cocking his head to the side he watched, distracted, as the Matorian set to shedding some of what he was wearing. Apparently he was reading himself for a brawl of sorts between the two of them? It was something that caused him to realize that the magic was sparking around him. Taking a breath he lifted a hand, resting it against his chest, and forced himself to calm down. He couldn't have an all out fight with him as though they were a couple of low brow drunks in a bar! He was better then this and so was the little fish, not that he'd admit it. "Hm...?" Wait, Parthlio was looking for a mage to entertain for his wife at parties? Giving a bit of a sigh he said, "Weren't you the one that said she's worse then the Beast Lord? Should I be insulted that you're trying to feed me to her, little fish? Are you that upset with me? Or do you have a plan in all of this?"

Aqio crossed his arms. "Yes, I did. Use that to attack him from within. He and his wife compete between each other. Use that to break him." he lifted a hand to flick his fingers in a manner that said 'duh'...then he blushed a little. "Ah...yes this is typically your play, but as a child when I got mad. I didn't typically let it show. Which lead to more than one high fever. I learned. Shed layers or suffer sickness." He sighed. "I'm sorry I ever said anything now..." he muttered as he went to sit on the edge of the bed. "I just. I want to prove to you that my loyalty isn't fickle." he let his hands drop to his lap. "I'm not good with emotional stuff. I never was. Abie was good with expressing himself..." he rubbed at his eyes. "I know I'm messed up. I have no remorse in killing people. I don't enjoy it...not yet anyway." he flopped onto the back to look up at the ceiling. One leg bent as the other dangled, both arms flung out to either side.

Shesha arched an eyebrow, starring at Aqio for a long moment like that, before he gave a sighing sound, "You make it sound so easy. I will need time to think and to plan, it's not as though it will be a simple thing. Especially since he's sure to be suspicious of me if only because he did try to see me killed in a back alley." Something that he really was still miffed about, mostly because of that damn scar he still bore upon his otherwise flawless skin. He found himself thinking on it, on how one could go about playing the two against each other. He supposed he'd have to figure out the best way to do that. Was it easy to make them jealous of one another? Should he give all his attention and affections, feigned as they'd be, to his wife to piss of Parthlio? Or should he go vice versa to get the wife mad at the Beast Lord? Should he instead praise their son to his mother since he'd already started the foundation of turning father on son? While he decided against using the pup as a weapon via actually doing anything to him there were other ways he could still be of use. So many options laid themselves out before him like so many sharp knives. Looking passed his thoughts he focused for a moment on Aqio before walking over to the fish that was just laying there on the ground, starring at him for a moment, then moved to settle down so that he was sitting beside him. Starring down at him he said, "Don't go getting too remorseless on me. One of us should at something of a moral compass or else we will end up the villains in this story sooner then later." Reaching out gave his forehead a little poke, doing so to check to see if he'd gotten himself over heated in a manner that wouldn't appear as such.

Aqio's forehead was slightly warm. The dancer hadn't gotten angry like that in a long while. He looked to the mage. "I'll try, but I can't make promises. If I take Parthlio's life. I have a sinking feeling that I'll lose that compass or at least some restraint." he turned to curl on his side to look at Shesha. Reaching out to grasp the other's hand. "If you prefer I keep my distance I will...just remember that I am your blade first and foremost. I will cut down anyone in your way." he pressed a kiss to the other's hand. "I make that oath." he muttered. That dangerous gleam to his eyes that made them darken flashed as he looked up to his mage. He let the other's hand go to curl a little more into himself.

Giving a bit of a smirk Shesha said, "That makes sense, the sense of accomplishment that you'll feel after felling someone that is such a monster to you would have an effect." He wondered if it really would cause him to lose some of his restraint. It was possible since said monster would suddenly be gone thus giving him quite a bit of freedom in his life. He supposed that they wouldn't know for sure until the man's heart stopped beating... and there was always the option of Shesha stepping up to end it instead, thus saving the fish from himself. They would see only when they got there. Shifting himself he leaned over, one arm on either side of Aqio, and he leaned in close to murmur, "You should have started with that oath, Aqio. It's one that I find far easier to understand and to accept." He didn't need stupid, witless, or soft... he wanted this, wanted Aqio at his best, willing to become a blade for him. If Aqio wanted soft, squishy, fluffy feelings then he'd just let his little assassin find himself a lover on the side, but as far as Shesha went he wanted the more dangerous side of him. "So... do you plan to stay here on the floor? There are more comfortable places you could be laying at the moment, little fish." He said, returning to the normal name that he used for him. He didn't use his actual name all that often and likely wouldn't, feeling it was best to use it on special occasions.

Aqio shivered beneath the other as he leaned in to mutter at him. Hearing his name he quickly turned to look Shesha in the eye. A slow smirk grew on his face as he reached up to pull Shesha down for a kiss. Breaking it he slipped out from under the other to stretch out on the bed. He laid on his side to smile at the other. "My favorite spot." He beckoned to the other. "Are you going to join me?"

After the kiss Shesha watched as Aqio slipped away from him, heading toward the bed instead of the floor, laying down there instead. Pushing to his feet he ran his fingers through his long, wavy hair, giving a smirk, "Well of course, little fish, it is my bed after all." As though he needed an open invitation, though he supposed it was rather... cute. It also helped to make up for the two of them butting heads earlier. Walking over to where Aqio was laying down he moved to join him, finding that he felt a lot better now. The two of them had been on the verge of a throw down but things seemed to have calmed down now. It was how he preferred it. They had enough enemies outside of these walls, he didn't want to turn the one constant in his life into an enemy now. It would end up quite messy for the both of them. Curling up to Aqio's back, one arm wrapped around him, he said, "This is much better then the floor. Let's stay here for a while, little fish, and save our plotting for the morning."

Aqio felt the other at his back and smiled. This is what he wanted. Shesha at his back, surrounded by a warmth he knew well. The Matorian turned to look back to the other. Yeah, they butted heads. That was only natural because they were different personalities. "Mmmm, a day in bed sounds like a good plan to me." he purred as he nuzzled under the others chin. He turned to pull Shesha in for another kiss...
