Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank | Jewel- 100,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Setting the empty bottles down, Kaya looked back over at the red-head. “Rosa, huh?” She stared for a few seconds before her smile brightened considerably, reaching up to her eyes. “Nice to meet ya! And don’t worry about figuring out what to call us. Just call me Kaya.” The teenager lowered her hand to place it atop the little Exceed’s head. “And you can call him Ko, if ya want, or Kokuei…don’t matter which.” A faint blush creeped across his cheeks as he glimpsed Rosa eyeing him during the introduction. Little Kokuei swiftly distracted himself by lifting the bottle of water and taking a long sip of it. After a moment, he held the nozzle away from his mouth, chancing another look back at the stall’s owner. “He-Hello.” He finally worked up enough courage to say, though it was barely loud enough to be heard. “Th—thank you for the water and shade.”
Kaya grinned down at her little friend. He had formed a full sentence that time, with more than two words. If they were to stay long enough, then he would be talking like he normally would while in the guild hall. His shyness all but disappearing. But she didn’t know how long they would stay. The shade felt amazing, much cooler than out in the sun, so she could very well be tempted to hang out until the sun started setting or Rosa closed up shop. Whichever came first. I wonder how long she’s open till? The ravens-purple/blue-haired girl thought, glancing around at the small stall. She failed to notice the attitude change of her new friend until her ears picked up the somber statement from her. “Hmm?” She pushed herself up from the pile of pillows and cocked her head to the side, staring back at the girl curiously. She hadn’t realized that Rosa was essentially speaking to herself. “Do more for us? Why would ya say something like that? You gave us all the water ya had and we’re good with that.”
Her stomach chose that moment to release a loud rumble. Kaya’s smile dimmed a little as she chuckled nervously. Scratching her left cheek, she asked, “Don’t suppose ya’ve got any food too, eh?” “You just ate!” Kokuei exclaimed suddenly, shucking off his shy demeanor for a short time. “That was over an hour ago! A girl’s gotta eat more than that, ya know!” ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ ✸ OOC ✸ Sorry. Having to fix things because of PB. >.<

Rosa Li' Denose Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"

Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Rosa leaned back and put her hands up, waving them back and forth dismissively and defensively. "Whaa? Oh... oh no.. no no no... Don't mind me one bit! I tend to mumble to myself sometimes. Errr... a lot. Sorry, sorry... But I mean, I guess..." She sighed and lowered her arms, closing her eyes with the gesture. "I tend to try to be too helpful sometimes. It gets me into trouble a bit..." She finished with a weak, halfhearted chuckle.
Rosa tilted her head and smiled as Kaya introduced them both. Then the little exceed thanked her, and Rosa felt a very childish pang of wonder at the creature.
YYYAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! HE'S SO CUTE!!!! Oh god... I wanna pet him so badly! Gotta be patient... gotta be patient... She was glad the little creature couldn't feel her emotions. Or so she hoped. It wore its heart on its sleeve, for sure. Though outwardly timid, it seemed to be more than willing to open up to her. Kaya's internally joyful and surprised response to noticing this merely confirmed Rosa's hypothesis. "Oh, please, don't thank me for something so small as that! Hehehe... you guys are paying customers anyway. And business has been so slow lately, I'm glad for any company. Here, want a pillow? Oh! Hehehe!"
A girl with an appetite, eh? I like this one more and more! Yeah, she feels really vibrant and I don't know... alive? Just a breath of fresh air! So, what are you gonna do about it? Gonna make a move or what? Rosa blushed internally, and couldn't keep herself from letting the blush touch the edges of her cheeks a bit more. Well, I think I'll wait to see if she is even uhhh... into that sort of thing.
She reached wordlessly into the cooler behind her and pulled out several kinds of fruits, some sandwiches, and some almonds. "Why yes, yes I do. At fair prices, no less!" She was, after all, here to practice her business acumen.
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.

█ Broken Crown Ace █ Arc of Embodiment Gunner █ BAD APPLE! XXX"Son of a..." The woman was growing tired with lugging this statue on her way back to the Guild Hall. She would have just used her magic to make a car and just drive there, but it's pretty damn hard to drive with a broken arm! Surely the residents of Balsam Village were not tired of seeing the beaten and bruised woman lugging around a life-size gold statue. A few people offered to help the woman carry the statue, while others offered to take her to a hospital for her broken arm and splinters. She looked a mess: One broken arm, splinters stabbing through some of her skin, her hair disheveled, red eyes from what looked like to be crying, and a bruised and swollen cheek, and a clearly bleeding torso that had looked nearly busted open by a traumatic blunt force. Whatever happened to the woman, did not look pretty. What made Nebula even more annoyed, was it only took one hit to send her flying into a tree like that. It was honestly pathetic, and Nebula was too annoyed to go to a doctor. "Stupid Garrett and his stupid palm magic, stupid tree, stupid Lassie, stupid everything!!!"
"No, no I don't want your freaking help! Thanks though, really!!!" The woman had pushed her way through some woman asking if she needed help or a doctor. In reality, she did, but she just didn't want to be bothered by anymore questions, she just wanted to go home. "Rosa?" The woman would quietly whisper the other woman's name as she narrowed her vision, sure enough it was the red head. "D'aww, look at you!" Despite her clearly messy appearance, the woman still maintained her flamboyant and painfully-cheery persona. "My lil' entrepreneur is going up the cooperate ladder!" The woman placed a hand gingerly on the woman's selling stall, her smile growing. "So, you're selling food I see, I may have to take you up on that offer..." The woman would look around for her jewel, pouch quietly cursing to herself, she had left that behind... The statue however...
"I'll give you..." Neb would painfully kneel down towards the statue, easily pulling off a tiny piece of gold from the statue's glasses. She painfully got back up, this time quietly whimpering as she rose. "Will this do for like... Anything. Literally, anything." The woman slid the gold nugget over to the red-head, glancing over to see a new face and what appeared to be a flying cat. "Ohoho, hello there madam!" She nodded in respect, wincing a bit in pain. "Fancy flying feline you have there my friend!" The woman gestured to the flying cat, scanning the feline. "Hello cutie!" The woman moved her head away to cough, a raspy and unhealthy cough escaped from her throat as she struggled not to scream in pain. "Ahaha, pardon the mess... Was at one hell of a CRAZY auction! A guy almost got set on fire! CRAZY! AHAHAHAHA! Ahh..."
"How rude of me! My name is Nebula Seth! I would shake a hand but... Ahaha!" The woman gestured to her limp, broken, arm, casually of course. "What's your name hun?" She asked the girl, leaning against the stall for support. O.O.C...

Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank | Jewel- 100,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Kaya pushed herself further off the pillows, pulling herself into a seated position. Folding her legs together, she let her arms rest in front of her, stretched out to where her hands rested in her lap. “There’s nothing wrong with helping people.” She said with a definitive nod. “Or getting into trouble doing it. So long as it’s done for the right reasons.” “You would know.” Kokuei muttered quietly under his breath. He dared not say it louder due to present company, knowing that the Slayer would still be able to hear him clearly. The ravens-purple/blue-haired teenager slumped forward a little at his statement. Her ice blue orbs glared over at him. “I don’t get into trouble that much, Ko. You’re making it sound like trouble follows me or something.” Kokuei snorted bemusedly. “More like you go looking for it.” His shyness was nearly imperceptible to anyone whom might happen by. Truthfully, he enjoyed their playful teasing back and forth as they were because it helped him become more accustomed to new individuals. The less he thought on it, the more his true personality shined through. “No I don’t!”
The two could bicker back and forth for hours if left to their own devices. Fortunately, Rosa broke into their tete-a-tete with the offer of a pillow and the presentation of food. “Awesome!” Kaya’s face lit up at the sight and smell of sandwiches. “We’ll take whatever you’ve got!” She reached down to the leather pouch residing at her waist and rummaged around inside of it. Her smile fell upon realizing how little they truly had at the moment. “Errr…or whatever I can get for this.” The Slayer pulled out her hand to reveal the singular remaining jewel which she presented to Rosa. It was likely not going to be enough for much but something was at least better than nothing. “Heh heh.” Kaya chuckled as she stuck her free hand behind her head. “Looks like we’re gonna have to take on another job, Ko.” A sigh of understanding touched her ears. Although he didn’t say it in so many words, Kokuei could lay on the guilt big time. They had just come back from a job yet most of their reward was spent already. Part of it paying back damages from a previous, rather disastrous request.
“I know buddy.” Kaya’s expression softened while she gazed down at the young Exceed. It tended to be her fault that they seemed to be lacking funds all the time. “I’ll try to be more careful. Promise!” Before she could say anything more, an unusual presence made herself known at the front of the stall. The Dragon Slayer lifted her ice blue orbs to find a woman with vibrant purple, galaxy-like hair there. Hmm? She quirked her head to the side. The lady looked like she had just come from a fight. Her body held an overall disheveled appearance, her arm visibly broken, and various cuts and bruises adorning parts of her skin that weren’t covered by clothing. She also seemed to know Rosa. But there was something more to her that Kaya couldn’t quite figure out. Not one to think too long on things, however, she quickly jumped from one train of thought to another, taking Nebula’s explanation in stride. “Name’s Kaya Hisakata!” Kaya declared cheerfully, feeling Kokuei press himself next to her again. “H-hello.” With another new individual present, his shyness had come back full force. It would take more time for him to start coming out of his shell again. “And this is Kokuei.” ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Rosa Li' Denose Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"

Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Bickering, but with a sense of intimacy. Understanding and attentive, if not imperfect concern for one another. And they managed this without any special magic or abilities? It made Rosa a little jealous, if she were being honest. But she was careful not to let that one slip through her lips. She had been careless with her internal dialogue. Not again. "I guess you could say I have a way of finding trouble myself. Hehehe... I think so long as you're on the right side of the trouble when it's all said and done, then you've done the best you can."
As she spoke, she started juggling the fruits, smiling as she did. "No money... harsh. I'm not great at keeping cash I make in y pocket, either. Hmmm... tell you what. I'll make a trade. Keep talking with me here, and the food is yours. I actually made a big commission earlier enchanting something for a passerby, so I'm way ahead of the curve toda- NEB WHAT THE HELL??!!?!" Rosa sat, flabbergasted, as Neb spoke. She had not seen her boss this beaten, bloody, and nearly dead before.
Auction? My a**, she statued another poor unfortunate soul... I really have to get her to stop doing that...
Suddenly the redhead bolted upright upon her pillows, turned around to the back of the stall, and pushed all of her pillows back into a corner. She left Kaya and Kokuei the ones they had. Immediately, she turned around, grabbed the gold nugget, shoved it into her pocket, grabbed Neb by the collar, and stared into her eyes.
Fear, confusion, sorrow... deep, soul-rooted pain. Emotional turmoil and weariness... but a sense of joy at progress made and something discovered. Whatever happened, it had not been one of Neb's meaningless assaults on those who could not pay a debt, or who had otherwise incurred her wrath. No. This had been something important to her that she had had to fight for. All of it washed over the girl suddenly, swaying her where she stood. But she didn't falter. Instead, she slipped herself under Nebula's good shoulder and helped her into the stall. Her gaze turned to Kaya, careful to look at her nose, and not into her eyes. "Would you be so kind as to take down my sign? I'm going to be dealing with her for a bit. You're free to stay, though. You two are fun to talk to. Also, I hate to ask, but could you lug that gaudy looking statue in here? Or at least out of the thoroughfare?"
Without much warning, Rosa slipped out from under Neb before helping her down to the pillows. She rolled up her sleeves and made sure her hair was still up. She pressed a hand to Nebula's ribcage, feeling it gently. Then came the pulse of Rosa's soul through Neb's body. Several broken ribs. Fractured sternum. Shoulder and arm fractured or broken in several places. Shuddering and feeling an echo of the same pain that Neb now suffered through, Rosa withdrew her hand. She was panting slightly as she turned to Kaya and Kokuei. "I feel really bossy... and presumptuous asking this of you two... but there are cloth rolls up on each side of my stall... can you... unroll them? I need to focus."
Her demeanor had changed significantly in just the few seconds since she set Neb down on the pillows. No more was the uncertainty. No more the subtle, lingering fear of her weaknesses. She had a friend to help. Regardless of whether or not the cloth rolls were undone, Rosa breathed out once, steadying herself. This was the hardest part of this magic: dialing in just how much of Neb's soul to take and replace. The more she took, the more she could heal. But too much, and she would wind up like Carmellia... No. No time for those thoughts.
Ten percent, Rosie. That's all it should take for her to get herself home safely. You're the best, Carmy. What would I do without you? I don't know actually. Maybe get rich, find a girlfriend, and live a normal life? Pffffffft... yeah right! XD What the hell even is normal anyway? Hehehe... Now, let's focus! Alright, alright. But you really do need to get a girlfriend or something.
"I have my lunch in the cooler. You can have it afterwards. Chicken Marsala and a nice salad. So please, bare with me and do try not to scream, please."
As soon as Rosa stopped talking, she pressed her hand to the center of Neb's chest. Instantly, Neb would feel a strong pull on her soul. Like seeing an old friend walk away, or feeling the melancholy of an old flame walking past you on the street. But a quickly as it came, she would feel a rush of energy from Rosa. There were emotions, thoughts, and desires mixed into it, but Neb would not have any time to figure out any of them before they each passed. But what she would feel were her wounds slowly restoring themselves. It was sure to be... painful, if nothing else.
From Kaya and Kokuei's perspective, they would see a pale, glowing light emanating from Rosa's hands, chest, and eyes. It was mostly a deep, rich pink color, but in spots, it was interspersed with an orchid, almost lavender color. They would be able to feel the energy coming off of Rosa, but while it was magic, they might not understand what kind it was.
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.

█ Broken Crown Ace █ Arc of Embodiment Gunner █ BAD APPLE! XXXWith her good hand, Nebula tapped her chin, registering the duo's name in her head. "Ahaha, d'aww, such a cutie!" Nebula turned towards the exceed, a faint tint her her cheeks as she was amused by the exceed's shyness. In her something-plus years of life, Nebula has only seen a handful of exceeds, all different in personality and appearance; so it was no surprise that the woman would be completely intrigued by seeing the flying feline. The woman was about to create a yarn ball or a little snack for the little cat, but was completely side-tracked by the obviously passionate Rosa. "... Hello to you too, babe," the woman commented playfully, laughing off her guild-mate's concern.
Nebula was growing a bit antsy from Rosa's reaction, but it was to be expected; leave it up to Rosa to see through people's s**t so keenly, and just by a simple glance of the eye. "All I wanted were some snacks..." The woman had her day all mapped out: Take a shower, figure out what to do with her arm without attracting the attention of Evelyn or Skal, and take a nap in her treasure room. That sadly didn't get to happen, and Nebula sort of felt like a baby because of that. "So, is that a no to the snacks...?" The woman raised a shaky brow as the other woman reached a hand towards her, not quite certain what Rosa was planning to do.
"A-ahh..." The woman had slightly hunched over as Rosa placed a small amount of pressure on Nebula's rib cage, but it was enough to cause the woman to tear up a bit in pain. "G-geez, you... You remind me of my mother..." The woman had lied, of course, never having known her birth mother; she dared not consider any of Lassie's escorts to be mothers either, not in a million years. "By the way, did you do that soul thingy...?" The woman furrowed her brows and narrowed her eyes in irritation. "I freaking hate it when you do that," she hissed quietly, only to follow with a sigh; Rosa was at least doing this, no need to be so snappy at the girl for helping. "Don't strain yourself Rosie."
The woman's mood was changed at the mention of food however, "Chicken, you say?" The woman could feel her taste buds tingle, the only thing she had to eat was that cake that Garrett had made. Actually, that wasn't the time for those thoughts, especially when being around someone who could easily read them. "H-hey! be gentle with that statue!" Nebula turned to Kaya, a rather nervous look on her face. "I paid a grand price for that... Please don't scratch it," the woman was a wee bit fidgety in anxiety, she didn't want that statue to get damaged in any way. Even if she hated Garrett, she wasn't that evil to destroy his actual golden body... Despite the lack of 'living,' that is.
The woman's thoughts were thwarted, and quickly replaced with an unexplained sense of emptiness, which was quickly filled with a roller coaster of emotions that to the woman, was irritating enough to make her actively shed a few tears in front of the three other individuals in front of her. "Crap! Crap! Crap! CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!" The woman began to go into a fit of profanities that she was emotionally and physically unable to hold back. O.O.C... Long post squad B)

Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank | Jewel- 100,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Kokuei’s cheeks flushed a deep red at the woman’s compliment. His shyness showing even more as he slipped further behind Kaya’s arm, like a toddler might do to their mother. The Water Dragon Slayer cocked an eyebrow at her Exceed friend though there was no judgement in her gaze. A warm smile settled upon her lips. “He has his moments.” Her tone was teasing, trying to draw him back out of his shell. “Sh-shut up, Kaya.” The feline whispered in retort. His crimson orbs found her ice blue ones, the two exchanging looks with one another. Both friends could easily hold a conversation with mere expressions alone. Not a single word would need to be said for one to understand the other. At that moment, Kokuei was telling her that he was cute all the time while she, in turn, was pointing out how much his shyness would aid in that. It wasn’t something they did often since both preferred to speak, utilizing it mostly when Kokuei became overwhelmed by new people.
Their silent conversation was interrupted when Rosa suddenly shot up from her pillows. Kaya jolted at the unexpected movement, turning to look at the redhead. The teenager watched curiously as the girl grabbed the woman’s collar before leaning in to gaze into her eyes. What’s that about? She wondered since it looked as if the two might kiss. Rosa’s intense grip and passionate stare only added to that thought. But then, as swiftly as she had bolted over to Nebula, the girl shifted to support the woman as she helped her further into the stall. “Mmph.” Kaya gave a quick nod. “Leave it to me!” Happy to be of help, she jumped up from her own set of pillows offered by Rosa, dashing towards the front of the stall to remove the sign. Once that was done, the Slayer focused on the life-sized statue taking up space in the main thoroughfare. She bent down to take a better look at it. The face was screwed up in an odd way, and the position was weird as well. “Looks kinda creepy.” She muttered under her breath as she took hold of it. It’s heavier than it looks too. Kaya grunted, making sure her grip was firm.
Nebula’s shout of concern drew her eyes to where the woman lay. Her mouth quirked in a confident and reassuring grin. “I won’t! Gonna set it right…over…here.” She walked while she spoke, finding the perfect out of the way spot for the statue. One where it wouldn’t incur any scratches, nicks, or dings and allow Rosa room to work. That done, Kaya turned to her next task from the redhead. “I've—I’ve got the ones over here.” Kokuei muttered softly. Sprouting his wings, the little Exceed searched for the rolls on his side while Kaya did the same on the opposite side of the tent. Both soon found what they were looking for, snatching as many rolls as they could carry. “Where do you want ‘em?” The ravens-purple/blue-haired girl took no time in unfurling all the acquired rolls, but had no idea where to actually put them now that it was done. Peering over at the two women on the ground, she jerked to a halt upon seeing the glow emanating from Rosa’s chest, eyes, and hands. From the faint accompanying scent, it had to be some sort of magic, but one Kaya had never seen before. “Healing magic?” Kokuei proposed, thinking aloud. The curses being flung out by Nebula at this point made it appear as if that might be the case. It was an unusual healing magic, if that were indeed true. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Rosa Li' Denose Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"

Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Rosa was wrapped deeply in the effort of healing Nebula's injuries, but she still felt the emotions bouncing around her? No... not emotions. People. Kaya and Kokuei. They were more than just emotions. Flesh and blood. Stop doing that. People are more than just emotions. More than just emotions... This mantra repeated in her mind a few times over, drowning out everything else for a moment. Neb's emotional pain and sudden withdrawal was foremost to her. It was sudden and forceful: She'd gotten better at hiding her emotions lately. But the man she'd turned into a statue had been someone she regretted doing it to, that much Rosa knew.
As Kaya and Kokuei did their best to help, Rosa smiled, closed her eyes, and turned her head to them slightly. "Thank you both. There are... hooks on the outside of the... huff... stall. You should be able to... hang them there... haahhh... I'll explain... after I'm... Done." The effort of speech on top of her magic was something she was not ready for as she directed them. She turned back to Neb, and leaned her mouth down to her friend's ear, whispering. "Just had to... assess... your injuries. Other than that... it was just... reading emotions. Haahhh..." She fell silent, focusing on controlling the flow of her soul. It was delicate work, but in a sense, also like controlling a receding tide, or the flow of a river. She felt her mind start to waver, and realize she had given more than what she originally intended on...
Rosa? Rosa focus. Not like this, Rosa. OI!! GET IT TOGETHER!! What...? R-right... Can't slip up this time... There you go. Man, that was close.
Nebula would feel tendon and bone reconnect and mend into something closer to their undamaged states. Her breathing would ease, and her pain would recede in accordance with the healed injuries. Overall, it accounted for an almost sixty percent healing of Neb's injuries. Neb was in a condition where she would likely be able to get herself home, so Rosa began stemming the flow of her soul into Neb. "I'm sorry, but please bear with me a minute longer, Neb. I need to close it off slowly... Please... please don't cry any more..." The easiest way to stop it was by using a wall of emotions to stop the flow of her soul into her target.
So, she used good memories to start. A scant few memories of her mother. The kindness of her father. Carmellia complimenting her cooking. Yes... they all brought joy to her. She built the flood gate from joy and love. Nebula would feel a faint, but reverberating echo of those same emotions through her heart and soul. Rosa wasn't aware of that particular emotional sharing, in all actuality. But as the memories and emotions built up, Rosa felt her soul cease flowing into Neb. The glowing of her hands and eyes died out first, but the glowing at her chest died away much more slowly.
As the last of the light died, Rosa chuckled for no apparent reason, then fell over sideways. She was hoping Kaya might catch her, but even if she didn't, she had a pillow near where her head should land.
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.

█ Broken Crown Ace █ Arc of Embodiment Gunner █ BAD APPLE! XXXThe woman had responded to Koukei's recent comment"More like 'Make Nebula lose her mind magic!!!'" If Rosa had not reassured Nebula on what she was actually doing, there was no doubt that Nebula would think that the red-head was out to get her, even if Rosa was always considered to be the kind one of the guild. She had to force herself to remember that Rosa wasn't doing all of this just to harm Neb, or make her cry, Rosa was trying, and Neb couldn't be any more appreciative; it was just a shame that Nebula was in too much pain to actually relay this appreciation.
Luckily though, the pain had begun to wash off of her body, like water down her back. It was instead replaced with a warm sensation, right to her heart-strings that she couldn't quite explain, was this happiness? Was it the feeling of relief following such a painful experience, or something else? This happiness was something similar to that fuzzy feeling she would get whenever she was in the same room with Rosa and Skal, talking to each other like friends instead of guild comrades. It was the same sort of happiness she would get when Evelyn would smile at her, even if it were a half smile, just the tiniest of grins would make Nebula's day better. Money couldn't even create this simulated emotion; few things made her truly happy. "Ew, I hate getting sentimental..."
In the mist of her happiness, Nebula had not noticed that she was using her magic without knowing it. Her hand was on top of Rosa's leg, magic surging from her fingertips into the woman's flesh. By the time Rosa had finished healing her, or at least most of her, the red-head's legs would turn into pure gold. Nebula didn't notice what she had done until she turned around to Rosa and caught a glimpse of gold. At that moment, the woman immediately scrambled to find a blanket, and drape it over Rosa's legs. "We must keep you warm! You are such a pal! Healing lil' ol' me! Ahahaha..." Nebula didn't even have enough time to adjust to her partially-healed body, she was more concerned with maintaining her identity as a secret. She didn't want Kaya to know the true origins of that golden statue she was lugging around.
"She'll be fine!" Neb dismissed the situation, hoping that Kaya or Koukei didn't see anything too suspicious. "So, where's that chicken...?" O.O.C...

Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank | Jewel- 100,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Hooks on the outside of the stall? Kaya wondered to herself, taking a few quick steps to the front of the tent before peering around one side. Sure enough, pinned firmly to the outside wall, was a row of hooks which stretched along the back corner. “Right. Got it!” She bounded back inside to pick up the unfurled rolls. Kokuei trailed behind her, lifting the ends of them as best he could so they wouldn’t drag. “You think that lady will be okay?” He whispered once they were outside of the stall. He was still wary of the newcomer and he didn’t want her to accidentally overhear him. “Rosa looked like she had it under control.” The Dragon Slayer responded in a normal voice. She didn’t care as much as the little Exceed on whether the two women inside overheard them; however, she also guessed that neither of them would be paying attention to anything aside from the healing process.
Taking the tip of one roll, Kaya started placing the cloths onto the hooks. “I think you’re right.” She said after a moment of thoughtful silence. “I think she’s using healing magic, but I’ve never seen it before. The smell’s different than the usual ones.” “So a new healing magic you think? Maybe one she developed?” The teenager thought on that for a bit, rolling the idea around in her mind. Ultimately, though, she couldn’t say what sort of healing magic Rosa was using. It could be new, old, or somewhere in between. Quite frankly, she wasn’t one to question things like that too deeply. “Beats me.” She shrugged, tacking the last of the rolls up. “Looks like it’s pretty intense whatever type it is.” Kokuei bobbed his head in agreement. “She’ll need to be careful if that’s the case.” Despite having just met her, the dark-haired feline had grown comfortable enough around her to show slight concern. Something Kaya took notice of instantly. “Well look who’s coming out of his shell again.”
Kokuei blushed. “What? I can’t be concerned for her?” He turned away from her, crossing his arms over his chest to pout, floating lazily in midair. “Aw don’t be like that, Ko. I was just kidding. Besides, I would be worried too if she didn’t look like she knew what she was doing.” Cocking her head to one side, she gestured towards the front of the tent. “Speaking of, we should let her know we’ve got this done. See if she needs anything else.” “Yeah.” The two made quick work of the short distance from where they were to the where the other two women resided. As Kaya stepped inside, she noted that the smell of the magic diminished almost completely. Her ice blue eyes found Rosa just as the woman started to topple over. “Whoa! Hey!” She darted forward, tucking her knees under her and skidding to a halt right where the redhead would almost have hit the ground; instead, her head would land as softly as possible onto the Slayer’s lap.
“Hey, did you really use that much magic?” Kaya looked down at the girl, concern written plainly in her eyes. She was so focused on catching the girl that she wouldn’t have noticed her now golden legs or how Nebula swiftly covered them up. “If you need some spare then I can fix ya up on that. Want me to try?” Meanwhile, Kokuei hovered near where the newly healed Nebula was sitting up. “I—I think she said—it was in the cooler.” He offered up to the woman, knowing that she would need something to help her body recover even further. His crimson orbs didn’t look at her while he spoke, however, instead focusing on Kaya and Rosa. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Rosa Li' Denose Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"

Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
As her head hit Kaya's lap, Rosa's laughing stopped, replaced by a sudden and short. "Oof!" Her head remained immobile for a moment, as did her entire body. She was shocked that someone she'd just meant had put themselves between her and the ground of their own accord...
See, Rosa? This is what good people are like. I still say we should... Rosa? Hello? HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLOOOOOOO!!!!?!?! Hehehehe... I wonder what color her eyes are... Oh. Oh no. No no no no no...
As Rosa began breathing again after a second or two, she almost failed to notice the blanket being placed on her legs. She tilted her head to look down at Neb and sighed before attempting to kick it off. But her legs didn't respond. I must be more tired than I thought... I should thank Kaya. She turned her head and shoulders to look Kaya in the face. Without the energy to entertain the thought process that she should be avoiding eye contact, Rosa looked up at Kaya's eyes. "Thank you for catching my head. This ground is so rough sometimes. Hehehe..." If Kaya looked into Rosa's eyes, after a second or two, she'd begin to feel a pull on her mind and soul. If she didn't look away at that point, she'd be drawn into a Soulgaze with Rosa.
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.
OoC: Short post is short, sorry! XD

█ Broken Crown Ace █ Arc of Embodiment Gunner █ BAD APPLE! XXX"All these squares make a circle, all these squares make a circle, all these sq- eh?" Nebula quickly looked up at Kaya, a drop of sweat the hue of faded-bronze trickled down her cheek in panic. Feeling it, Nebula quickly swiped the drop of sweat and rubbed it against her pants leg nonchalantly. "Yeah, that darn Rosa using up her magic on little ol' me, isn't she such a sweet heart?!" Nebula awkwardly caressed Rosa's head like a clingy cat lady. "Yup, some chicken is good for the soul, mmm those additives and hormones they add in meat to make it so damn juicy, amiright?" Nebula took the food out of the cooler, and with no need to heat it up, conjured a fork out of thin air so she could indulge in Rosa's lunch. "Rosa, I just want you to know that I love you and whatever I do, I do out of love, okay?" Nebula's pupils had dilated in a small panic-mods, "OKAY?!" The woman took a piece of her chicken, laying across of Rosa's legs so no one would take a peak underneath the blanket. "... All these squares make a circle, all these squares make a circle..." She was positively screwed; Nebula wasn't sure how long it would take until the effects of her less-impactful etherious curse would wear off. It could be seconds, minutes, hours... DAYS. O.O.C...

Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank | Jewel- 100,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Kaya’s ears perked up at whatever it was that Nebula was muttering. Peering over at the older woman, she gave her a questioning gaze. What’s that mean? She tried to figure out on her own, having never heard the saying before and uncertain how squares could make a circle. Opening her mouth, the Dragon Slayer would’ve commented on it and about Rosa using up too much magic, but the shuffling in her lap drew her gaze back to the redhead. “No problem.” Kaya closed her eyes and smiled brightly. “You shouldn’t push yourself too hard. Can do more harm than good ya know.” Her words were an exact imitation of those Kokuei always told her. The dark-haired Exceed finding it difficult to keep his friend from pushing herself to the brink at times.
Realizing that Rosa hadn’t answered her question, Kaya’s eyelids popped open and she peered down at the girl. “Hey you never said if—“ Her speech became halting as her ice blue orbs connected with Rosa’s deep blue ones. “You wanted me to—“ She couldn’t finish the rest. A tugging sensation crept its way throughout her body. It was as if her mind and soul were being coerced somewhere, pulled towards something unseen and unknown. Part of her wanted to fight it, to break away from whatever it was that suddenly called to her. Yet, there was another part that was curious enough to maintain the contact. Kaya felt all her senses growing numb to the world outside of herself and the other girl. Her very core unwilling to turn back as she was sucked deeper into an invisible realm. What awaited her there, she would find out soon enough.
“Kaya?” Kokuei noticed the sudden quiet from his friend. Walking over to her, he tugged on her sleeve, though received no acknowledgement. Her gaze unblinking and unyielding in its station on Rosa. Whatever was happening, Kaya was fully entrenched in it. He felt himself start to panic slightly. It wasn’t like her to be this way. Despite her body being there, it was clear her mind wasn’t. “Wh—what’s happening?” The little Exceed turned to the purple-haired woman laying across Rosa’s legs. Worry filling his crimson orbs. “Why is sh-she not answering me?” Having no one else to turn to, he hoped that Nebula would be able to answer his questions and quell his fears. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ ✸ OOC ✸ Hope this is okay. I wanted to wait and see Rosa's Soulgaze on Kaya first so I could get more of a feel for it.

Rosa Li' Denose Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"

Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
It took only a moment for the Soulgaze to begin, and by the time that Kokuei was asking Nebula what was happening, Kaya and Rosa were coming back to reality. But to them, that single moment was half an eternity.
~As the event unfolds~
To Rosa, the dilation of the time as she understood it was dampened considerably. This had happened to her enough times that she had come to understand how to keep her bearings in such an intense... exchange. As her consciousness fell completely into Kaya's soul, she sighed internally. Carmy... keep her away from anything about Neb? I'll try, Rosie, but you know I can't control what she sees. Right, right... well, I'll be back, Carmy.
She closed her eyes, feeling the too familiar pull into another person's very core. She hoped Kaya could handle it. The first time was confusing, frightening, and painful, mentally and physically. The poor girl would need something for her soon-to-be-headache. When she opened her eyes, Rosa stood before Kaya.
She and the Slayer stood upon the surface of an unnaturally calm ocean. It may have been a lake, but Rosa could see no shorelines. The moon flew above, a perpetual crescent in the dim sky. But as she glanced down, she noticed that Kaya's reflection was vastly different. The moon was dauntingly full. It shone bright and true in the reflection, and the waters in the reflection rampaged wildly, churning and crashing upon themselves. And the Moon was on the wrong side, reflected over the other Kaya's left shoulder instead of her right. And the reflection of Kaya was younger...
The standing Kaya appeared as she was now, completely mirroring her external self. The look on her still face was one of pride, confidence, and surety. She knew what she was after in life, and she knew how to get it. She turned her head to look at a pale, shadowy, but well defined form of the feline she kept as a companion. Her face had the look of someone gazing longingly at a friend. There were equal measures love, happiness, and protective grit in her eyes. Good. She's as good a person as I thought she would be.
Rosa then stopped to look down at the reflection, studying it closely. This Kaya was younger, smaller, and seemed to be more... whole, somehow. It was impossible to describe or place how, but she seemed like she had something her older counterpart was missing. When this one turned her head, it was in the opposite direction. And instead of Kokuei's shade, the form she looked at was that of something too large to be real. Creatures that big didn't exist in this world. They just... couldn't be real, could they? As she recoiled in the first bit of actual fear she had felt since losing Carmellia, she noticed that the girl looked up at the creature with the same expression of wonder and merriment that any child might look at their parent with. But it was twinged with sadness, a melancholy feeling of unexplained loss.
And then it was ending, and Rosa was slipping backwards towards her own mind. She noticed with only the faintest glimmer or recognition that the stars in the reflection and those above the water's surface were different. Not just reflected... but not the same alignments and constellations. Yeah... this one was worth seeing. Heh...
~Back in real time~
Rosa sputtered a little, her breathing coming in deep, smooth, but almost panicked seeming breaths. She noted immediately Kokuei's panic and fear. She felt the need to apologize, but first she needed to check on Kaya. And Neb... had entirely lost her composure. She'd have likely been fine, had it not been for how Rosa had gone about healing her not moments before. Thinking that was so odd. It had only been seconds, but Rosa felt like almost half an hour had passed. The shadow of the being inside Kaya's soul, the memories of it alone, were enough to rattle Rosa to her very core. But she needed to make sure the slayer girl above her was okay. So, Rosa lifted her hand to the girl's cheek, touching and caressing it gently. "K-kaya... You back?"
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.

█ Broken Crown Ace █ Arc of Embodiment Gunner █ BAD APPLE! XXXNebula ate her chicken in silence, paying heavy attention to Kaya's continuous dialogue interruptions. "Aw son of a..." Nebula stuffed some chicken in her mouth bitterly, unable to actually do anything or respond to Koukei's questions, it would be easier for Rosa to explain what was happening to Kaya. "Mmm, this is some damn good chicken," the woman mumbled in between bites of her food, glancing between Kaya and Rosa and occasionally Koukei. "I feel cheated on, babe," Nebula half-joked, assuming that Rosa was doing some supernatural stuff again. The first time Nebula ever had that experience with Rosa, the gunner had been tempted to blow her friend's brains out, in love, of course. Hey, maybe some people get a rise out of 'soul gazes,' at least that's what Rosa had called it. "You are a good cook, Rosa," Nebula commented as she pointed to the chicken with one hand, giving a thumbs up with the other. O.O.C...
