Sailor Aquila

As Aquila started to approach the source of the distress call, she heard a crash, and then something burst out of the front of one of the buildings. Something that mad it abundantly clear why someone had called for help.

The huge creature seemed to be a mashup of several creatures. Aquila initially thought it might be a youma, but she wasn't sure if she was feeling Chaos energy coming from the thing. Whatever it was, it didn't look friendly, and a few other senshi nearby started to attack the thing.

Aquila was honestly kind of intimidated by the monster, and wasn't keen to rush in and try punching the thing. She opted to try hitting it another way and picked up a piece of rubble from the now-broken building. Winding back her arm, she took aim and flung it at the creature. But apparently her aim was way off, because it hit a nearby wall instead. She was honestly kind of disappointed in herself. She was usually a much better shot (though with a bow, not thrown objects).

DM Sailor Loke

It'd been the weird sensation that had drawn him over to take a peek in the first place. He was still getting used to powering up, still getting used to being... out and about as Loke, again. He kept his eyes open for any signs of Varuna, following the strange collection of energies he could feel coming from a part of the city. The damage he stumbled across however, and the odd creature, were um.

Not exactly what he'd been expecting.

The Dark Mirror Senshi didn't really bother to ask questions or seek out familiar faces--really, there weren't any, and he was still keeping an eye out for the icy senshi. He took notice of the fact that those collected were fighting the creature, and he didn't see the point in risking looking like the bad guy by not joining in. Not that the debris he tossed at the creature seemed to do jack-all...

{ 15 + 1 = 16, 0 damage }

---

Sailor Cassiopeia

Ok so throwing random debris at a giant, clearly alien creature--which was kinda odd to realize when you were a magical person and had magic powers and could teleport to an alien world but, I mean, this thing was a legit alien--was not going well. Cassiopeia had come across the scene during her evening patrol-slash-powered route from work, lured in by the odd aura she felt and the growing number of other auras joining the area. Including a few Chaos auras, she noted with a bit of alarm.

But it wasn't Order versus Chaos in this fight. It was... well, anyone around, versus this strange creature. A part of her felt horrified at the notion of attacking it, but considering the damage it'd already done, and it's apparent intent on continuing that damage... well, it was a bit of a no-brainer. The Senshi of Wonder was just a tad baffled on what to do, when the piece of wood she'd picked up to slam against the creature didn't seem to... well, do anything.

{ 5 + 1 = 6, 0 damage }

---

Lt. Carnotite

She came out that night to have a good time, steal some new clothes for her wardrobe, and this is what she finds?

Carnotite was more than a tad alarmed by the rabbit-wolf looking creature, or whatever it was. Definitely not an Earth creature, and not a youma. The half-youma was particularly intrigued by this fact, watching with a high level of amusement as others began to attack the creature. What was it? Where was it from?

She figured jumping in would at least be a fun way to pass some time, perhaps gain some information. But finding that her punches and kicks did nothing had her quickly retreating a bit to watch and see what would damage the creature.

Sailor Caliban
Unfortunately for Caliban, it had been a really bad idea to enter the shop, as he had gotten there just in time for the creature to emerge and destroy quite a bit of it. Luckily though he had escaped in time and was in the street now, staring at it a bit in awe. It was like nothing he had ever seen before and he wasn't sure what to make of it. It didn't seem to be a youma, but it's aura was almost to the point of being overwhelming.

However, he couldn't just stand there and wait for it to attack everyone, he had to do something! Unfortunately all he could think of at this point was punching it as hard as he could. It was a mistake. He felt pain in his hand immediately, and he could only hope that he had done something to the creature, though it didn't react as if it had been hit at all, and it's attention seemed to be turned elsewhere.

Damage: 19 + 1 = 3 Damage

Page Alphubel
Alphubel also had managed to escape, however he did have some cuts and bruises from part of the shop collapsing on him as he ran out. He was struck by fear and was paralyzed in place for a bit, unable to move as he watched in horror. He wasn't ready for this! Or at least this wasn't like anything he had been told about!

And unfortunately, when he did try to move closer to the creature, he was knocked away by it hitting the ground and feel back onto the ground, now in even more pain.

A grin crossed the face of the creature as its opponents failed to penetrate its stone-like hide. The beast even looked to the senshi that had missed entirely with a sort of snarl of derision. It almost looked, despite its strange form, that it was enjoying this.

Perhaps it was overconfidence then that led it to forget to look behind it back into the shop it had just decimated.

"Together now..."

"Spirit Hare, Command!"

"Rice Powder, Dust!"

Sailor Alpha and Beta Leporis stood in the remains of the doorway. Aura barely managed to hold the limp form of her sister, Imagi. Neither looked like they could fight beyond the attempt they had just made to surprise the monster.

Alpha Leporis's spectral hare dissipated as she looked out through her sister's attack's shielding effect. Her tiara was cracked and falling into her weary, but hopeful eyes.

"You... You came. Now, please, defeat this monster." Her voice was weak, but her eyes burned with a fire that was unmistakable even as she attended to her twin who was now fainting in her arms.

"She's given you an opportunity... Now use it!"

Meighei

Sailor Aquila (Allowed to roll as normal due to monster's crit fail.)

Aquila gritted her teeth in frustration as her attack missed wildly. To make things worth, nobody else seemed to be making a dent in the monster either. How were they supposed to stop this thing?

Then a surprise attack from behind caught the monster off guard. Just inside the broken building, Aquila could see two more senshi. Considering their location and how beat up they looked, one of them was probably the one that sent out the distress signal. They certainly had good reason.

Turning her focus back on the monster, Aquila could see it looked distracted. Now was her chance to attack! Or better yet, to try out her magic! She had no idea what it did, having never used it before, but now seemed like the prefect time for it. Hoping for something that'd do a lot of damage, she called out, "Eagle's sight!"

Nothing happened. OK, not quite nothing; her eyesight got sharper. Not like she could see farther or anything, just clearer, as if she'd put on a pair of good glasses after having needed them forever. She looked around trying to figure out what practical use that had, then noticed she had an easier time following the monster's movements. If it tried to dodge, or duck behind the rubble or something, she had an easier time tracking where it was going. Maybe she could aim better this way.

Deciding to testing out her theory, she grabbed another chunk of rock. She took a moment to aim at the creature, then hurled her makeshift projectile with all her might. This time her aim was dead on, and her rock hit the monster dead on. Her vision shifted back to normal right after, but she grinned anyway. She could work with this.

Sailor Altair

Altair watched the beast as she was mustering up the courage to charge at it as well in hopes of doing so when her target seemed to have more of a focus on another direction. She reckoned she may end up stopping in her tracks like a deer caught by headlights if she was caught in such an attempt.

However, listening to her surroundings divided her attention as well and along with hearing the declarations of spells, she also picked up on the spoken words directed to them all from a duo of senshi. With a nod of her head, she moved in Ananke's direction to offer back up. And then, she decided to try aiming her own spell at the threatening presence, saying the words for her magic after a deep breath and steadying her gaze on the creature with determined motions, "Scalpel Shot!"

Stump_Fairy

Squire Aptera

Her gaze scanned the creature's form in search of a striking point. So much was going on all at once and it seemed to Aptera that the opponent was aware of this as well. Magic spell after magic spell after magic spell along with other forms of strikes after strikes, the attacks to subdue the threat were dealt all in a matter of seconds after seconds in rapid fire succession and she, too, had her eyes set on the defeat of the beast. Alertly, she moved with caution as she sought an opening, an opportunity. Then, she charged and summoned the creation of her magic barrier for a few moments to deal a forceful push at the foe, a magic spell attack of her own.

Sailor Myrrha

Myrrha had quickly put her phone away in time to see the monster avoid any and all attacks that had been launched at it in the first wave. How was it that no one managed to land a single blow to the creature, herself included? If this kept up they'd have a strange creature running amok through the streets of Destiny City. Myrrha picked up a stone and tested the weight of it in her palm before sensing movement out of the corner of her eye. It seemed as if the monster was getting ready to loose its own attack. That is when the attack from behind came. Myrrha glanced past the monster at the two senshi standing in the destroyed doorway of the shop before hurling her rock. Another small chunk of concrete followed as the senshi of scents joined the fray.

Page Irkalla

Irkalla was still unsure of how to fight with this thing. It wasn't like she could use her fists on it, could she? Looking around as those around her jumped in to attack the monster that had been ambushed from the senshi duo Irkalla picked up a rock and rushed forward with everyone else. Once she neared the creature's head Irkalla brought the rock she carried down on it's skull twice before backing up. She did not appreciate having to kill something but this wasn't it what she was supposed to do as a knight?

[[ Skoll, Andronicus ]]

It had been some month since Skoll had gotten her hands dirty with fighting monsters. Who woulda thought that trying to make rent payments and pay credit load sharks with two jobs left little time for henshining up? How any of these high school kids (and she figured a lot of them were high schoolers) even got out to run around the town in short skirts and skimpy leotards boggled her mind.

Skoll came up on the chaos mid battle, late as always. The best way to get into a crazy battle? With her fists flying away.

"AYYYYEEEEEEE!" And so the crazy, insanely tall senshi barrelled into the fight.

---

The squire of Uranus leapt off of a near by building and jogged into the fray, aspected speed aiding her journey. The corner game store was one of her competetors, but they had some great employees and she wasn't about to let them fall to some monster. Andronicus had standards; her shop had the better value - and was starting up a small repair shop in the back. People's lives being at stack, especially civilians? That overrulled any and all retail territory desputes.

"Well isn't this... a lovely specimen of monster," said the squire, slamming her mace into it with a solid thwack.

Sailor Ananke

After a massive failure to hit her target Ananke stumbled to regain her footing and got out of the way for any oncoming Sailor Attacks. When seeing Altair's attack she noticed a few looked like they were going off target. "Ananke Portal!" Quickly Ananke made the motions to open a portal and they entered. With another quick motion she opened a portal close above the monster's head.

Quickly returning to besides Altair she nervously laughed. "Sorry about borrowing your attack."

Sailor Altair

Altair's eyes widened at the sight of her attack's stray scalpels being redirected at the target by portal magic. Her surprised gaze transitioned to Ananke as she received an explanation for what she just witnessed. She grinned in response, replying, "It's certainly alright. Thank you and I'll always be open to teamwork between us."

Sailor Caliban
It seemed that two of the senshi, whom he didn't know, were able to make quite the impact on the creature and it looked like it had been hit quite hard. Caliban grinned, glad that he finally had an opportunity to actually fight it, hopefully without getting hit in return.

It seemed to work, he made quite the impact being able to punch and kick it in what seemed to be the usual weaknesses of any creature. The eyes, toes, etc. Anything that it would need to really rely on quite a bit.

Page Alphubel
Alphubel was breathing heavily and had just managed to lift himself off of the ground, trying to ignore the pain he was in. He looked around and saw that more senshi and knights had entered the scene and were doing their part of hurting the creature.

He couldn't do much, he also just mostly went for the weak spots of the creature, hoping that he was making a difference. He also hoped that he wasn't holding anyone else back considering that he couldn't do as much as he wanted and he didn't have any magic as of yet.

DM Sailor Loke

s**t, there were people inside the building? Two senshi, White Moon. Loke cussed a bit, unsure what to make of this growing situation, though at least feeling a bit more confident in seeing that the girls looked to have given them an opening. Before he could move back in to try his luck at landing a hit against the creature, a familiar looking blue-garbed knight struck hard against the creature.

He blinked a bit, squinting at the figure. But the black and purple hair was familiar, as was the face when he caught a glimpse. Hell. It'd been a while since he saw her. Loke moved in quick, noting her power signature was stronger than last time he'd seen her--no big surprise, since he'd been out of the loop for a year or so--and her uniform was a bit different.

Still, his punch landed hard where she'd already struck and he grinned towards her. "Been a while. Fancy seein' you here."

{ 11 + 1 + 5 - 1 = 16 damage }

Sailor Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia was more than a tad alarmed--again--by the sudden attacks hiding the creature. Not because something actually seemed to throw it off balance, opening up a route for them to attack, but because of where the magics originated from. She shot nervous looks towards the damaged building, noting the two girls there and unsure if they should be trying to focus on getting them to safety, or continue to focus on the creature.

It was a rather horrific dilemma, really.

But she finally steadied herself and darted in to attack again, hitting with the same long piece of wood like a heavy bat. At least this time, some damage seemed to be done, and she could only hope this would continue.

{ 7 + 1 + 5 - 1 = 12 damage }

---

Lt. Carnotite

Well well. Little senshi were resilient things, weren't they? She peered curiously towards the store and the two figures there, but was far more interested in how suddenly everyone seemed to be able to damage the creature, instead of flailing around.

She moved in again, striking quickly and retreating a bit to try and avoid any damage--or avoid being struck by any of the Order folk running around. No one had accused the Negaverse agent of being behind the creature's appearance, at least, though she was hesitant to assume no one would attempt to condemn her for the act.

Aquila's rock hit first and the difference between this attack and the last one was obvious. A chunk of crystal-like fur cracked and fell from the creature's back. Altair's knives plunged into the creature's open paw and it allowed Aptera's barrier push to be more effective as the creature could only balance on three of its feet. Myrrha's and Irkalla's attacks caused it to turn its head in surprise. It was then that Skoll's wild barrage crashed into the beast's face. Was the creature's jaw falling off? Andronicus, commenting on the specimen, did a fair share of damage to it and a whole section of the monster's shoulder fell away with his weapon like old stone crumbling. Ananke's portal sent more knives in a different direction. Its tail was caught on the ground. Was it detaching? Caliban's and Alphubel's assaults further clipped its fur. Something was clearly glowing from within the creature. What was it? Loke's punch landed straight on the monster furthering a long crack that had been growing on its back. An eerie lavender glow could now be seen clearly from within. It almost looked like that creature would shatter as Cassiopeia attacked. There was not much hope for the creature by the time Carnotite's cautious blow came. It didn't seem to matter.

The monster was dying.

The beast was glowing brightly from all the cracks in its hide. Each second, more and more of the crystalline stones that make up its fur fell away. And in one long, bright pulse briefly blinded everyone in the area like a small flash bang into the growing night.

For a moment, it all seemed over.

Sailor Alpha Leporis's gripped on her sister loosened. Had it fallen so easily?

As the flair of light dissipated, a small, pulsing object could be seen in the rubble where the creature had once stood. There was nothing but shards of crystal left of the monster. Or was there? A strange core floated above the remains of the creature and it was in the same violet light that had been coming from the beast that it glowed in.

Then the pulse of concussive force came. And then another. And another.

It wasn't over.

Sailor Aquila

Aquila grinned when the thing started to shatter. Looks like they'd beaten whatever it was. But it soon became clear that it wasn't over yet when the creature broke down to leave behind a glowing ball that started sending out shockwaves or something.

Time for Round 2, then. Aquila didn't really want to get too close to the thing, so she hefted another rock. It seemed pretty hard to miss a stationary target, so she didn't bother using her magic this time. She just took aim and chucked the chunk of stone as hard as she could. (Which was admittedly a lot harder than she could as a regular civilian. This senshi thing had its perks.)
