  Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ The hotel was absolutely amazing. Kaya's eyes grew wide at the large logs of the wooden exterior, her mouth nearly dropping open at how massive it looked. "They've got something like this here?!" It looked like it could be quadruple the size of most buildings in the vicinity. And the interior was just as nice. The Water Dragon Slayer turned in a slow circle as she noted the high vaulted ceilings that were complemented by the forest inspired furniture. The way everything looked, it reminded her of the island she grew up on near Japan. While her memories were vague at best, she could never forget the scent of the trees in the island's forest. "Definitely wasn't expecting a hotel like this to be in such a small town." Yuki agreed with a nod of his head, just as smitten by the design as his friend.
It took both of them a moment to realize that they had wandered away from their guildmates. The duo looked back to find that Alyssa was at the counter checking in while Katiki was over by a smaller tree. Kaya caught enough of the S-rank's exchange to understand that they had been given the two rooms as they wished. Her lips curved back in a grin as Alyssa approached with the keys. "I bet you could get the keys to the city if you tried." "Or the state." Yuki tacked on, shifting his body so that he draped over the Slayer's shoulder. Kaya bobbed her head in a "that too" manner. Her gaze shifted to Katiki's sprinting form as she joined them on the way up to the rooms. The woman had a good point about asking the same questions again. From what the Slayer remembered from the book she read, the teenage detectives had done something similar. They had also jumbled questions to put those they were asking more at ease with answering them, giving the appearance of ineptitude.
"What about mixing up the questions too?" Kaya relayed the idea to her friends. "Works pretty well in the books for making people think giving the information won't do any harm." Shrugging, she eyed the piece of paper that Katiki produced. It had an odd scent though the teenager didn't pay much heed to it just yet. She wanted to wait until they were in the room and the three could look it over together before committing anything to memory. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Money for the hotel was paid in cash and all money was removed from the site before the missing persons were reported therefore giving no trace to follow. [SAME DAY RHE LAST BOY WENT MISSING]INVESTIGATION REPORTUpon observation of the areas of last known whereabouts, no clues were left behind other than eye-witness statements. Taking the written note from the ice mage's hand, the requip mage studied it closely, " 'Please find us'," she read aloud, " Yes, I agree that it could have been one of the kids that wrote it," she said, slightly annoyed that the police had already been proven to have poor observational skills as they had failed to find this. Shaking her head of the negative thoughts, she focused back on the evidence, " But how? I would have thought if they were brought here, their hands surely would have been tied. Unless there was some form of magic seal around the room to prevent escape or keep in sound. So many possibilities," she said worriedly. Tapping the note against the bridge of her nose as she wracked her brains for an answer,p. Suddenly a thought came to her, " Hang on, I need to check something," she said, handing the note back to Katiki momentarily. Opening several of the drawers in their room Alyssa finally found what she was searching for, " Aha! Just as I thought," she grinned triumphantly holding up a pad of paper, " Complimentary notepad and pen. I'm assuming this is what was used, however, the pen provided has black ink but the note is written in red" she turned to the water dragon slayer, " Kaya, first sniff these and tell me if they're on the same type of paper," she requested, holding both the message and the pad under the slayer's nose, " Second, since I don't have a sense of smell quite like yours, tell me if its just me or does this ink smell of absolutely nothing?" she asked, hoping it wasn't her imagination. Normally cheap pens had ink that smelled weird, " I know it sounds crazy but the only time I've encountered writing that doesn't smell is when it was done by magic," she frowned for a moment, " Guys, I know the police said that none of these kids used magic but what if they were wrong? I mean, writing that looks like it's done by hand but has no evidence of ink being used is normally a form of script. A magic for writing without the need to use a pen isn't something anyone would really notice, it's not something big like solid script so no one would make a fuss. Especially if it was used for something as mundane as studying," she said, seriously considering the idea that one of the kids could have found a magic solution to not being able to properly transfer their thoughts onto paper. "I can go around to the school they were in and ask the teachers and their friends tomorrow." She said as she went and sat on the bed. "It could be script magic..." Katiki thought and pondered. "Do we know if any of them were in clubs?." Katiki looked over at Kaya. "Can you smell different kinds of magic? Or is it just scents of the people. Either way, if can pick up on anything in the other room then we have a little better chance at finding the kidnappers." Katiki said as she placed her hand on her chin. "If we wait to long the smells will be gone, and then it will make things even harder." With a down cast look Katiki was deep in thought. Katiki then looked back up at her two teammates. "One of us will have to go to the library around here, or ask the parents if magic runs in the family. No matter how far back it can still come to a later generation." With a sigh Katiki placed her arm on her knee and and her hand back on her chin. " I know that both of my parents didn't use magic, nor did anyone for about four generations on both sides didn't use any. So the fact that I do have magic is rare. And if any of these children have come into their powers they wouldn't really know about it unless it was talked about in their household, or if they did any family history research themselves. OOC: I am so sorry for not posting in a while!! I have been so busy with my new job and finals that I am in crazy stress mode. After this Thursday I will be done with school, so I will be able to post more.

Yuki praised the keen observation skills of the ice mage as the group settled into their hotel room. "There's no telling how long it might've stayed hidden if you hadn't found it." He stared at the note with a saddened expression on his face. The words on the paper were so desperate, so pleading. The little Exceed hated to think of how scared the kids might have been. But he also found himself wondering why the kidnappers would bring them back to the hotel. Why not just hightail it out of town? Surely the longer they stayed here the higher the risk of discovery. Alyssa's mind seemed to be moving in a somewhat similar direction, making mention of a magic seal around the room or various other possibilities. "They might not have tied their hands immediately. Depending on how they got in and out of the hotel, they wouldn't want the kids appearing like they were kidnapped so they might have left their hands untied for a short time." Yuki shrugged lightly. "Unless they could teleport in and out. But why bring them here at all if they could do that?" There were just so many questions that they needed to answer, and not enough time to do it in.
His pale blue eyes turned to Kaya. Hopefully her dragon-like senses would be useful enough to start answering at least some of the questions. His gaze drifted to Alyssa whom appeared to have a thought on the matter. She moved about the room, pulling drawer after drawer open, until shouting in delight upon discovering what it was she had been searching for. Producing a notepad and pen, the requip mage promptly held the newly acquired stationary and pleading note under the slayer's nose. Kaya leaned in and took one quick sniff of each. "They're not the exact same but they're both from here. They've got the same sort of wood smell to 'em." She confirmed with a nod of her head.
Shifting her stance slightly, she met Katiki's gaze, a faint smile on her lips. "A dragon's nose is amazing for smelling anything. You give me or any of the others anything to smell and we'll tell ya exactly what you want to know. S'no different with magic. I don't know how to explain why but, yeah, every magic has a certain smell. Like yours smells cool and crisp." Kaya then tilted her head to Alyssa. "Yours is a metallic smell, though it changes a little whenever you requip." Finally she gestured to Yuki. "And this guy's smells like fresh air." Her eyes moved back to the note that Alyssa held in her hand. Pointing at it, the teenager added, "That note doesn't smell like ink at all. But it does have a scent to it that's different. Like Katiki said, I can get a lot better idea of the kidnappers' scents if we check out the other room. It won't be hard to track them down after that." ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

The note was definitely a good find, " I guess the police weren't very observant when they did a sweep of the room. That's if they did one at all. They might have relied on us for almost everything which is more than a little annoying," she sighed, " Oh well, I suppose it's no matter now. We have it and that's what's important." The requip mage considered the exceed's words for a moment, " I get where you're coming from but I don't think they would have brought them in anywhere someone could see or recognise them. This is a fairly small town when you consider the population. However, I do have a theory," she said, moving to the window and opening it, " This hotel has fire escape stairs and they're mighty steep. Someone with tied hands would never make it up or down without tripping, they'd need to be able to hold onto the railings. So how about this; the kids were brought in via the window and their hands were bound once they got in here, not before. I reckon that would leave someone just enough time to write a note using magic whilst their captors grabbed a rope or cable-tie that would inhibit such abilities from that point," she said conclusively. Maybe that CSI marathon had helped her investigative skills after all. Alyssa grinned triumphantly at Kaya's confirmation that the writing was indeed different, " Ha! I knew it!" Listening to Katiki's mention of magic abilities running within families, she hummed in thought, " It's true in a lot of families there's trouble with harnessing any magic power but sometimes they just don't bother looking into it. One of my friends in school back in England didn't think her family had any strengths in magic but it turned out it was just that no one had bothered to try. She's now one of the most powerful wizards in her guild," she said reminiscently, remembering her dear friend from secondary school, " In either case, you're right, I doubt it was spoken about in the household otherwise I'm sure the parents would have mentioned it." Alyssa tapped her foot on the ground, playing with different ideas in her mind, " Researching, you say?" she repeated Katiki's suggestion, " I wonder if we could get hold of their laptops or tablets," she murmured. As Katiki got up and stretched her arms over her head, and headed over to the window. "We need to work fast, these kids have been gone for too long as is." As she looked back at her companions, her icy blue eyes shining under the dim light of the hotel room giving off an eerie gaze. "These vile creatures will be stopped." She said as her voice dripped with venom for these evil humans. With a sigh she closed her eyes and started to head to the door. "I'll be back later tonight." Katiki said as she went to the door "Do you want me to pick anything up to eat while I'm out."

Peeking around her arm at the fire escape, he stuck his head out and looked from one side to the other before floating back inside. "Hmm that would make sense. The fire escape is hidden pretty well from either side so, even if someone looked into the alley here, they might not have seen anyone climbing up them. Best way to get the kids inside without raising suspicion." His right paw went to his chin, tapping it lightly in thought. "But they took a big risk kidnapping so many within such a short span of time. And to bring them all back here before disappearing completely...it's weird." "Maybe they were waiting for something?" Kaya suggested with a non-committal shrug. "Like a meeting point or more orders or another person? If it were me, I wouldn't want to push my luck staying in the hotel like this with kidnapped kids who could put up any sort of fight...if they could." Her last words were more of a question than a statement. The Dragon Slayer couldn't wrap her mind around how three teenagers could be kept so secured that there were no signs of a struggle in the hotel room itself. Assuming, of course, that the police didn't just forget to mention such a detail.
Kaya stared down at the floor as she pondered over what they knew. The new discoveries already had them making headway. But something about the one slip of paper kept nagging at her. If it was found in the bushes in the lobby, then would the kids be taken out through there? If so, then they had to be unbound, right? The other option was that the kidnappers had placed it there themselves. To get rid of it where nobody would find it? The teenager couldn't be sure. Uncertain, her thoughts drifted back to Alyssa's current explanation of magic abilities in families. "So some people don't know they can use magic?" Her brows scrunched in mild disbelief. Then again, she tended to encounter those who had magic and those who didn't. It never occurred to her that some people could be born with magic but never discover it. "It might be a generational thing." Yuki pointed out. "Magic could've skipped a few generations so nobody would've thought to check for it after a while."
"Hmm." The Dragon Slayer nodded to him. Her lips quirked in a grin when Alyssa agreed that it was time to check the suspects' room. "Yosh!" She pumped her fist excitedly. "Don't worry, Katiki. With us on the case, we'll find those kids in no time. They might have left the area, but that doesn't mean they got away." In her excitement, she nearly missed the question posed to them by the Ice mage. "Oh oh!" Kaya opened her mouth to rattle off a meal to her guildmate, but a silver-haired paw clamped over lips to keep her from saying anything more. "Yes, please. We'll have whatever you choose." Yuki said with a grateful smile. He had stopped his Slayer friend simply because he knew that she would ask for an inordinate amount of food. The glare he promptly received didn't faze him in the least as he waited for the mage to leave before removing his paw. "What was that for?!" Were the first words out of the teenager's mouth. The Exceed, however, chose to ignore the question, turning to look at Alyssa instead. "Which room are we heading to?" ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ ✸ OOC ✸ No worries, you two! Real life can get crazy, especially around summer time.

Maybe they thought it would be too suspicious if they suddenly disappeared straight after the first kid went missing. Plus, they clearly stuck around to scout out more victims, it would have rung some mighty loud alarm bells if they checked out of the hotel and were spotted on the streets a couple of days later watching kids," she said. Upon hearing Kaya's suggestion that the culprits were using the hotel until they received further orders from a superior, the requip mage nodded, " Yes. Whilst it would seem disorganised to not have a full plan with them, I'm guessing they weren't sure how many kids would be suitable for whatever purpose they're needed. Making a plan before they knew solid numbers would have proven to be a mistake, like hiring a four-seater car without considering that they might end up with seven kids to take in total. They definitely would have had to wait for instruction," she agreed. Alyssa thought hard about why the note would have been in the lobby, a question she was sure the others had thought of too, " Ok, so I have two thoughts on this note; either a situation came up where the culprits had no choice but to take one of the kids through the lobby on the way in or out and did so perhaps when no one was around to see them do it OR we have the magic wrong. Page magic, whilst rarely found, gives the user the ability to control where a page goes so maybe whoever wrote the message used that instead?" she frowned, " I'm not sure which would be more plausible. Having two with magic abilities when they're trying to take non-magic captives seems a little too careless of the suspects but having one person use two magics is extremely unlikely. So taking one of the children through the lobby is the only answer that truly makes sense," she murmured. Looking up at her three guild mates, Alyssa smiled, " I think we may have our theory down now but let's go and collect some more info," she said. Alyssa beamed at Katiki, " Ok, Inu, just be safe. I would kill for some pad thai with fried tofu," she said pleadingly, she didn't like hotel food. Turning her attention back to Kaya and Yuki, she retrieved a key from her pocket, " The room the culprits stayed in is right across the hall. I thought that way if someone were to come back, those dragon senses of yours will pick up their smell or hear their footsteps," Alyssa grinned, proud of her own forethought. Following the ice wizards footsteps out of the room, she unlocked the door and stepped inside and was met with a perfectly tidy room, " What the hell? Why has it been cleaned?! It's still a crime scene, it shouldn't have been touched!" she exclaimed, " Unless... Kaya, have a sniff, are the cleaning products the same? With a sigh Katiki started to walk up. *Hmm they must have changed out the people for the night* "Hello I have a few questions to ask you." She asked as nicely as possible. The young girl that was sitting there looked up from her phone, rolled her eyes and went back to it. With a twitch of her eye Katiki asked once again with a slight irritation in her voice. "I need to ask you a question miss." The girl sighed and looked up. "What do you want" she said with such sass in her voice. Katiki's ice blue eye's looked at the young with a glare that could kill, Katiki could see the young girl shiver from the look. "W-What can I do for you?" the girl asked slightly scared. *That's more like it* Katiki thought. "I need all the security videos you have from the last month. my group is staying the rooms that the crooks were staying in, we are amateur detectives and I need the footage so I can see what happened." Katiki said with her icy voice. "I will return in twenty minutes. I would like them to be ready by then." The girl nodded and ran to get the footage. Katiki walked out of the building and went looking around for a restaurant that was open. As she was walking she passed a flower shop and stopped to look at them. A icy colored rose was sitting there in a bunch of white ones. *Such beauty... I wonder if it will still be there later...* With a small smile she looked at it and continued to walk. As Katiki walked around the corner from the flower shop she smelt something amazing. "mmm Is that pizza?" She said to herself. As she walked a bit more to her luck it was pizza! She went in and ordered four large pizza's, One vegan, one meat, one just cheese, and one with everything. " I hope they enjoy this." She said to herself. "Now to go back, get the tapes and meet with the rest of the group." Once she got back to the hotel the girl at the desk quickly came around the desk and handed Katiki all the footage. "Thank you." was all that Katiki said and started to make her way back up to the room. "I'm sure Kaya has already smelt this coming a mile away." Katiki said with a small laugh. *I should be nicer to her...* she thought. "I'll do my best" She said quietly. Once she got close enough she shouted some. "Guys! I got food!" OOC: Thank you guys for being super awesome and understanding. smile

  Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ "So maybe something didn't go as planned?" Kaya offered up once the theory had been posed. Whatever might've happened, it had allowed one of the kids the opening to slip the paper into the bush. Unfortunately, nobody took notice of it until it was too late. She shook her head at the notion that not a single passerby had seen the paper until Katiki. Hundreds of people traveled through that lobby. It was rife with the different scents. Tabling that thought for the moment, Kaya followed Katiki and Alyssa out of the room with Yuki settling down on her shoulder. "See you soon, Katiki!" He waved her farewell as the rest of them headed across the hallway. "That was great thinking, Alyssa." The Exceed praised her for her forethought in the matter. It was clear that she her S-rank status had been achieved through more than simply strength. The Requip mage was very smart, and he hoped that Kaya was paying lots of attention.
"Although Kaya might need to--" The rest of his sentence died on his lips as the trio stepped over the threshold of the kidnappers' room. A small gasp escaped from him at the tidy nature of everything. Like Alyssa, he was shocked that a crime scene had been cleaned so soon when there was still so much to be learned. "Hmm?" The Water Dragon Slayer blinked, turning to look at the older woman. She didn't seem fazed in the slightest. "The whole room doesn't fit." Moving further in, Kaya drew in a deep breath, taking in every trace of scent she could. Her face scrunched in confusion as her first impression of the room was confirmed. "Nothing in here smells like it should. The bathroom smells like out here and here smells like the bathroom. It's not that way anywhere else. But--" She glanced over her shoulder at Alyssa. "Ya know that piece of paper?"
Without hesitating, she made her way to the desk at the front of the room. Kaya looked at each drawer for a second before appearing to find the one she wanted. Pulling it open, the Dragon slayer reached in and dug around for a bit, finally producing what had drawn her curiosity. It was a small notepad just like the one in their room, but clearly missing some pages. "Definitely not Paper magic. This has the same smells as the note." "Wait, smells? As in plural?" Yuki picked up on the subtle change. Kaya hadn't mentioned multiple smells before. "Mmhm." The teenager gave a quick nod. "The note has more than just the writing magic smell. There're eight others to it too. Kinda almost not there but I could smell 'em. They're a lot stronger in here though, especially on this and near the window and door."
As she held out the notepad to Alyssa, another scent greeted her nose, stronger and far more pleasant than the nauseating sterile scent of the room. Katiki's voice called out not long after as well, indicating that she had returned with food. "Pizza!" She squealed in delight. It was one of her favorite foods, the meatier the better too. Yuki chuckled dryly at her child-like excitement but stayed more intuned with the investigation. "I wonder if she found out anything while she was gone?" ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ ✸ OOC ✸ Sorry. Fixing things because of PB. >.<

It was amazing how accurate her senses were, " Eight different smells," she said thoughtfully. It was likely that meant there was potentially eight different people in the room at once. Four kids, four kidnappers. It would make sense to have a good number of people in case someone got caught or as back-up if someone tried to get in the way. As grim as it sounded, it took more than one person to move a body efficiently. The requip mage frowned. It bothered her very much that the room was clean, " I think we're going to have to have a conversation with someone in charge" she said. Alyssa took the notepad from Kaya, tucking it away in her bag in a plastic folder for safe-keeping. She looked up as the door key turned and Katiki returned. The smell of freshly-made pizza wafted to her nose, " Oh, you are just an angel. That smells amazing," she sighed happily, taking one of the boxes out of her hands and moving back into their own room, " So did you find anything worth looking at?" she asked, taking a bite of pizza and humming in approval, " We found that someone has already cleaned the suspects' room. It was spotless, totally clean, which shouldn't have happened yet," she said with a tone of annoyance, " After I eat I'm going to take a trip downstairs to talk to someone in charge. I need to know why but I'm going to have to be careful. I don't want to be too pushy and come across like a professional," she massaged the bridge of her nose. This was a difficult situation; minimal information and a freshly wiped crime scene weren't exactly what she'd been hoping for. Polishing off her slice of pizza, Alyssa excused herself to make her way to the lobby where a young girl had taken to the desk, " Ahem, excuse me, I was wondering if you could tell me, just for my notes, why the crime scene room was spotlessly cleaned so soon after the police investigated? It seems odd and kind of puts a dampener on our project," she said politely. To her surprise, the girl looked confused, " We didn't request for someone to clean the room," she replied. Alyssa was taken aback. They hadn't asked the cleaners to do anything? Did that mean the suspects did it themselves using the same cleaning products? Or maybe they paid someone to do it? One of the cleaners or other staff members might have been coerced into doing so. Alyssa could only guess at this point though a clue could be in the smells. Returning to the room, Alyssa told the others about what she had been told, " I feel I may have been incorrect about there being four kidnappers. Kaya, if we request to question all the staff, could you sniff out and see if one of the smells belongs to one of them? If one matches then we know who went against orders and cleaned the rooms. "Yeah I scared the girl down stairs to give me all of the surveillance tapes of this place, inside and out, all the halls and so on from the last month." Katiki then ate a few pieces of her pizza. "Wait they cleaned the entire room!!" Katiki said in anger. As Alyssa went down stairs to confront the young clerk desk Katiki sighed. "So, what else was found." Katiki said to Kaya, while grabbing another slice of her pizza. Shortly after Alyssa came back with a great plan. "Yeah while you two do that I'll go over the tapes and see if anything to find on those ends. I should be able to get through them within a day if I start now. If I find anything we can communicate through a lacrama. Did anyone bring one?" Katiki questioned as she got up and went to her suitcase pulling out her laptop. "I think this will do, now I just got to put this in here in bam! Now its ready to start." Katiki said with a small smile. "Alyssa, I need the files so I can see what everyone looks like." She said as she went to the desk for a long road ahead. "And can someone make a strong pot of coffee please, this is going to be an all niter" Katiki said as she did some stretches, grabbed another piece of pizza and placed it by her, and started in on the tapes.

Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Kaya’s face beamed happily at the sight of the pizza in Katiki’s hands. Her thoughts immediately turned from the investigation, taking in the scent of a particularly meaty-smelling box. “Hehe.” She swiped the box from her guild-mate’s hands and moved over to their adjoining room. Plopping on the bed, the Dragon Slayer tossed open the lid, her blue orbs leering hungrily at the food. Her mouth watered. “Thanks for the food, Katiki!” She shouted as she took a slice in each hand. It took mere seconds for her to devour the slices, and she was already reaching for two more when Yuki swatted at her hand with his paw. “Save some for everyone else, Kaya.” He chided. His blue-grey eyes held a firmness in them, like he was chastising a five year old for eating too many cookies at once. “Awww but Yukiiii.” The Exceed shook his head, settling down to one side of the open box. “Wait till Alyssa gets back and eats. Then you can have some more.” As he spoke, he retrieved a piece of pizza for himself. Honestly, sometimes it’s like babysitting a toddler. He told himself with an inward sigh. Like most Dragon Slayers, Kaya’s appetite was immense and had to be kept in check at times.
Keeping his eyes pinned on her, Yuki cocked his head slightly so that he could address Katiki. Unlike Kaya, his focus was still more so on the investigation. “Kaya found a notepad that matched the note you found. She said it has eight different smells on it.” He nibbled at his pizza and shrugged. “That’s all we found though. They did a really thorough job of cleaning the place.” “Yeah.” Kaya huffed. Her nose wrinkled at the reminder of the room. Everything had smelled of bleach and lemon. “That placed smelled like a cleaning supply store. But it didn’t cover up the smells from before. I could still pick them up…after I stopped gagging on that crap.” She scrunched her face some more before shooting Katiki a curious gaze. "So what did you say to the people downstairs to get the tapes? Did you give ‘em that glare thing you do?” Her expression held a child-like quality to it, eyes full of wonderment and intrigue. Katiki was known to be the Ice Queen for many reasons. Kaya herself didn’t know those reasons other than the woman possessed a uniquely scary glare which could make anyone shiver.
There was little time for questions it seemed though. Alyssa soon returned from questioning the concierge downstairs. “Hm? Sure thing!” Kaya rose from her spot on the bed. Ice blue orbs glinted in the light as she pointed to herself with her thumb. “Leave it to me! Ain’t no way the person can hide from a dragon’s sense of smell. He’s as good as caught!” Enthusiasm laced very word she spoke. It was clear that she was excited to get to do some leg work. Even if that leg work was truly more nose work than anything. In one fluid motion, the Slayer stepped around the edge of the bed, snagged another slice of pizza- much to Yuki’s protest- and bit into it before sidling over to the doorway. “Good luck on the video, Katiki!” She muttered around a mouthful of the cheesy-meaty goodness, waving a hand at Yuki. “Comin’?” The feline faintly shook his head. “Nah, I’m going to stay here and help with the video.” Kaya gave a one-shouldered shrug. “Okay, see ya in a bit!” With that, she moved further into the hallways so that she and Alyssa could go figure out who had cleaned the crime scene room.

On the surveillance tapes, Katiki will find...
- A strange blurry streak pass by a few times in the lobby during the time the suspects stayed at the hotel. Almost as if a person was moving at high speed... (totally not giving anything away here hehehe)
- In the hallways, cleaning product bottles can be seen speedily disappearing and reappearing on the cleaning lady's trolley.
- On the last day before the suspects leave, as the blur passes the lobby once more, a piece of paper can be seen floating towards the place where Katiki found it.
- A staff member accepting money from one of the suspects (perhaps a bribe?)
All members receive a text:
"A message to all Fairy Tail guild members:
Clement Amore, our guild master, has gone missing. We know he usually takes off randomly but NEVER without leaving a note with instructions. Renae has gone too, as has Kai and we just received word that the Sabertooth guild master and one of the S-class members, Valor Louise, has also disappeared. Be on high alert and please stay safe!"
