 Can Do sipped the steaming brown liquid, the warmth travelling down her neck to her belly. She raised her head to thank the buck but could feel her left eye begin to twitch of its own accord. Startled, she gathered her token and left the booth a bit hastier than was needed. Quote: The drinking went fine, but for some strange reason your eyelid won't stop twitching. Approaching the drink again, Gentle Beauty savored it rather than drinking too fast, this time preventing herself from getting hiccups. After she finished drinking, her curiosity got the better of her (especially with the energetic boost she got) and began to ask more about the beans -- how did they make this beverage, what did the beans look like, so on and so forth. Soon a token was pressed to her so she could let someone else take a drink.
5. You like how it tastes so much that you rapidly start asking him too many questions about it. Nearly Beloved gives you 1 token in hopes that you'll go away.

Wanting to experience a bit of everything Quest steps up to try Nearly Beloved's concoctions. The drink has a strange effect on you - you suddenly feel wide awake, and your following antics almost turn up a corner of Nearly Beloved's mouth. 1 token!
Broken Petals was sick, and he took a sip of the drink, only to be awakened! "Wow! Thank you so much for this! Can I have more?"

Kiss of Death returned the next day for another taste of the buck's brew. Steam rose from the gloopy mess but she figured she'd take it anyway. To keep herself warm during the frosty season. Again she sniffed at this too. but it was much different than what she had yesterday. This one looked thicker and smelly... She licked it first to taste, and continued to drink it and every now and then chew at whatever it was that was in the concoction. She looked at the buck and wanted to say something in regards to what he had brewed, but a big chunk of meaty texture caught her off guard. She started to choke and wheeze as tears welled around her eyeballs. Part of the liquid went down the wrong pipe and she could feel it trickle down and sting. Oh that was bad. Real bad. Kiss hacked and coughed trying to cough it all out but it was too late. The liquid gloop had already done its course. Auw. Quote: 6. The bitter brew has completely travelled down your throat the wrong way and it feels like you're going to hack a lung out. This pleases Nearly Beloved, to the point of an almost genuine smile. 3 tokens!

 ( crimson ) Roll: 2 - The concoction seems smooth and almost pleasing! Nearly Beloved dryly states that he's pleased that you enjoyed the sample (though not sounding or looking it at all) and waves you away from his booth. 0 tokens. Shadow-in-the-Swamp wasn't normally the type to participate in festivals, but she'd happened by and the smell from this stall was enticing so she approached. "I'llllll have a tassste." she says, her elongated tongue giving a serpentine hiss to her words. When the buck pours some out for her, she dips her tongue in and slurps it up, giving her lips as lick and as contented sigh. "Noow that issss goood, thhhank you." she's not even upset over not earning as token. She smiles at him, her tongue curling out to flick in his direction, then slinks off to see if any other booths catch her eye.

With or Without looked to Nearly Beloved with a raised eyebrow. He'd never heard of anyone brewing things before, unless it were for some sort of sickness. However, he couldn't keep himself from being curious and sniffed at the offered liquid, before taking a decent sip of it.
However, it probably would have been wise to stop smelling first, then drink.
"Ack! Augh!" He gagged, coughing as though he'd never coughed before. He hadn't even gotten a chance to properly try it before he inhaled it straight into his lungs, what a buffoon he was! The buck heaved and flipped his head about, before noticing the near-smile on Nearly Beloved's face. "What the hell are you looking so happy about? I'm choking here!"Quote: 6. Smash and Mash had sampled most of the treats the swamp had on offer- she was, after all, a member of the foodiest tribe around- but the coughing bean... that was a new one. She was curious about it, and what better place to try it than in public, in front of everybody? The beverage had her coughing immediately; she was unaware of how hot it was! Still... it was intriguing. She would have to come back for more.

Clearly Starglow got a little too excited about the smell of the stuff and inhaled a little bit. But it was delicious all the same when she managed to swallow some! Definitely interesting, and the need to cough was a strange feeling. She nodded her head, eyes watering and concluded that was, in fact, absolutely freaking delicious.

After the day before he was a little more prepared for things and he took the offered drink and drank it down on one swift gulp. Only to be sent on his way with nothing more to show for it, than not being thirsty. Hmph. he snorted and walked off. Tomorrow was another day.

Obscure Truth quietly looks at the kin sitting there with the turtle shell and the steaming liquid. Unsure of what the liquid is, she takes the sip offered to her. Shocked by the taste, she coughs slightly which causes her to snort the liquid into her nose. Oh the burning, so intense. Obscure Truth rapidly blinks back tears. "That was....unexpected." she stammered to the kin in front of her.

Noxious Knowledge thought the brew to be interesting enough to try it. As the brew hit their tongue it seemed to taste a little bitter. Nox decided to swallow it but that was when things went completely side ways. The coughing fit started and as they looked to Nearly Beloved, realized that was the point. A smile formed on Nox's face as it set in. The taste was meant to be enjoyed at least that was what they decided to take from it. Quote: 6. 9. You enjoy the first sip and go for more, then suddenly start to hiccup uncontrollably. Nearly Beloved watches you intently. 1 token! Petal Bug skipped over to the booth, as always she was more then willing to try out something new, anything new really. "Ohhh! It smells wonderful!" she complimented as the liquid spilled forth. Eagerly she dipped her head to give it a try, oh! It was wonderful! Why it was certainly worth having a bit more! Unfortunately it seemed she might have been a bit to over eager in her second try and stumbled away with a fit of Hiccups.
"I'm sorry!" She sputtered out as she left "It really was quite" Hic* "Love" *up* "ly".
