Lixes gave a nod of his head as he waded into the water, "It's water resistant, yeah, but it isn't water proof. After time the wood soaks up the water and gets all bloated and crumbly." He said, waving the broken off piece in his hand before he gave a smile, "Don't worry, it seems that parts of the weapons are intact." There were parts of the weapons worth gathering though he thought to himself, carrying the piece that he had in hand, setting it down on the ground, before wading back into the water again.

Reaching into the water he picked up another strange piece, looking it over, before he glanced over at his brother, "Hm? Ohhhh! That looks neat!" He moved over to his brother, leaning in so that he leaned in close to get a look at the engraved axe head, "That's a really cool find! Gonna sell that one or keep it?"

Lixes gave a smile and a nod, "Seems like a good idea to hold onto it, you might be able to make something really cool out of it." He said with a smile as he started to wade into the water deeper, leaning over so that he could scan what was under the surface, "Hey! Maybe you will get lucky and find something shiny for your princess." He said in a teasing manner before he dove under the water to go after something he could see under the surface in deeper water.

After swimming around around for a moment he came up with a really old sword. He gave a once over, studying the blade, before he said, "Looks cool but I think I am gonna put it back." He doubted it would last outside of the water since it was looking old and a bit fragile already. With that he dove back under, swimming back down so that he could replace it where he'd first found it. The sword looked like a really cool blade, the sort that likely belonged to a hero once, but now it was meant to remain resting and rusting under the water.

After he had the sword in place he continued swimming, moving toward his brother, reaching out for his ankles...

Lixes could hear his brother's voice calling him, something that would have made Lixes grin if he wasn't under the water. He moved along toward him slowly but surely, mentally laughing to himself when Drexl actually stepped toward him. As he did so he reached out slowly and once he was able to do so he grabbed hold of his brother by his ankles, giving them a squeeze. Once he did that he lunged up out of the water and gave a loud 'RAWR' sound.

After doing that the blond was quick to shuffle backwards, giggling as he did so, before he splashed some water at Drexl. His brother was too cute and trusting, it really made him want to tease him just a bit.

Lixes starred up at his brother for a moment from the water, unable to help but to laugh, "You know for such a giant you really are easy to startle, Drexl." He said, dragging himself out of the water and up to his feet. Taking a couple of hurried steps forward, or at least as hurried as he could in water up to his knees, he jumped up so he could hang off of Drexl's back.

Once there he set to kicking his feet in a playful manner as he said, "You need to learn to act a bit tougher, Drexl! Especially since you're going to be moving out on your own soon. If you don't get stronger I might not let you go! I need to protect you after all and I can't do that if you move away." Especially if Drexl moved out while it was still so easy to ruffle his feathers... and given that his princess was just as squishy soft as he was it made Lixes worry. Sure, Drexl might get tough if it meant protecting Jerami but how could he be certain?

After Drexl wrapped an arm around him, keeping him from falling even if he let go, Lixes lifted his hands up to ruffle his brothers hair with the both of them, "Perk up, Drexl! You look best when you're smiling! Though... I suppose that you might be able to win points from your 'princess' if you get all cute and teary in front of him?"

After hopping down Lixes brushed himself off before he said, "Come on! Lets get going then. If they are making stew then I want a bowl or two full of it. It's been a long day! After lunch we will see about cleaning up the stuff we found!" Lixes gave his brother a playful shove before he said, "Race me back!" With that he took off running, hoping a head start might help him out to possibly win this time.
