Character name: Delphine Rousseau Location: Leviathan stage Action: Preforming --> Exit stage left It was difficult to keep her mind on the music, her dancing, as well as keeping an eye on Ian and the lovely blonde he was keeping company with. It would have to be one, or the other, and the young woman was far to passionate, far too professional, to let her performance suffer over something personal. This wasn't just a hobby, this was her career. Something she had to remind herself a few times through out the set, least she let her attention wander. Unfortunately, one of the few times she did happen to catch sight of the pair of blondes in the crowd, it was just in time to see Ian scoop the other woman up bridal style to carry her away. Now, at a glance it was hard to tell, but the woman looked as though perhaps she wasn't feeling well. But still. He hadn't needed to carry her like that...She was thankful for the end of the set, and when allowed--though not before smiling and waving brightly at the crowd with the rest of the dancers--she hurried off stage, immediately seeking out Colin in the midst of rainbow colored dancers so she could catch him by the crook of the elbow with a small hand and lead him off to one side. Her voice was hushed when she spoke, and just a little urgent. "You didn't tell me Ian was going to be here." And who was that woman?

Character name: Colin Hargrove Location: Leviathan stage Action: Off stage! Once off the stage and out of sight for those in the crowd, Colin got a bottle of water and sipped it - he knew better than to chug cold water when possibly over-heated - and started to walk further away when a small hand caught his arm and escorted him aside. He recognized Delphine easily and smiled at her while sipping his water, though she had a rather intent - and intense - expression on her pretty face. "Hm? Oh. Yeah, sorry. I didn't know he'd be coming, honestly. Mom thought it would be good for him to come, so last minute he tagged along." Colin hadn't bothered looking for his cousin in the crowd and had no idea that Ian had been enjoying the company of one of his Romano's co-workers; he'd not even really bothered looking for familiar faces at all with the excitement of being on stage performing again. "Was he watching while we were on stage then?" Colin tried to keep his distaste for his cousin from his face, for her sake. It made no sense to him how or why Delphine liked his trash-rat of a cousin, but she did. "I admit, I wasn't looking at all."

She seemed a bit distracted, gaze slipping away from Colin, and back out towards the stage, as if she could see the crowd on the other side. She couldn't. "He was." Did she mention the woman? This seemed the sort of situation where she desperately wanted answers, yet didn't--what if it was exactly what it looked like? No, probably not... Delphine bite at her lower lip, frowning for a thoughtful moment before turning back to Colin and smiling up at him. "That went very well, don't you think?" She'd just text him, ask him if he liked the prefirmsnce. If he'd like to meet up and perhaps talk a stroll through the festival. "The crowd seemed to enjoy it." She was gathering her calm again, nervous tension dispersing, at least visually. Everything was fine. Squeezing his arm fondly, she let him go so she could step around him to grab her bag from where she'd left it along with some of the other dancers. Her phone was in the side pocket, and she slipped it free, pressing the power button to light up the screen so she could thumb her way into the messenger app. Quote: Text to Ian: Did you enjoy the performance? She left it simple, refraining from mentioning that she'd seen him leave before the end, or asking about the woman in his arms.

Character Name: Sailor CastaliaLocation: Leviathan Stage Action: Patrolling with Sparks Now Sparks was getting angry at her. Ok, whatever. Thankfully she had the patience of a saint. "I didn't mean power up." Castalia deadpanned, mouth curling into a frown-- "I just found it weird, is all. Usually with an event this big, it'd bring a lot of attention, not only to the bad guys but the good guys as well. Things, bad or good, will always happen." She murmured, keeping up with Sparks as they spoke. Wasn't... one of them? "Yeah, shut it down, got it." She had to stop thinking of "what if's." They didn't need that sort of stress.
Castalia stopped near Sparks, eyeing Jade with Sparks as they both watched her-- She seemed concerned. Castalia clicked her tongue as her eyes narrowed, already disliking her for her style. "The Negaverse's poster girl knows how to please a crowd." She said under her breath as she watched more people being brought to the med bay. "Do you think she's gonna be their 'big finish'?"

Location: Edge of the Leviathan Crowd
Action: Directing Castallia
Just then, as they were listening to Castallia talk, the very man that the pair had been hoping to spot had stepped out from behind the stage and into view. He was speaking with Jade, who had been talking adamantly with her hands, as the volunteers changed the set for the new act.
"She's really good at what she does. She was popular before she signed." Sparks said, shaking their head as their hands curled into fists. "Absolutely no doubt. That's when we'll strike." They said decisively, unable to take their harsh gaze away from Mr. Renegade.
"I need you to distract the girl, I want to have a word with him." There was something icy and dangerous in their tone. "Call Terre for back up. Non-combative approach. Go"quite unevetful go ahead and pulled Terre (played by fiction1119) for back up

(In the interest of wrapping up the event and moving forward, we are time skipping to when Jade is about to take the stage.)
At some point, Sailor Sparks had separated from the Sailor Terre and Sailor Castallia. The senshi was gone for an extended period of time, with the CEO of Renegade Media having been dragged off by them.
Minutes, hours, passed with line ups shifting on every stage and people being removed from crowds and escorted to one of the two medical tents. Some people left, feeling too weak to even try and carry on to the end of the show. The main attraction, one Miss Jade Argent, was set to take the stage at any moment.
She'd been distracted by the company of a pair of girls who wore too many layers for the too hot day, but didn't think too much about it until she was ushered away as the previous set was taken down and set up for her own. Somewhere, he brother was backstage tuning his guitar.
Jade had just barely taken the stage, addressing what remained of the gather crowd with a warm welcome. "Welcome to the final act of Anthemusa, let me tell you how delightful it's been to have such a turn out, despite the hiccups we had earlier," she said, arms spread wide and voice loud and clear as the speakers carried it across the fair grounds. "I am so excited to perform for you - "
She doesn't get to finish speaking because there's a crackle of electricity in the air, a flash of what looks like horizontal lightning cracks across the stage. It doesn't hit Jade, but it hits the speakers and amps set up and they explode, sending her into the ground with a thud.
The crowd turns into a flurry of panic, people diving left and right with security doing it's best to calm the crowd and check on Ms. Argent. Unfortunately, someone else gets to the stage with sweat pants and a hooded jacket flying into the crowd as someone undeniably senshi takes the stage.
"This whole thing is a set up by the negaverse!" Sparks shouts, voice hoarse and scratchy from the effort of shouting above the panicked crowd. "This isn't heat stoke, it's something else and she," Sparks swivels to point accusingly at Jade, who's laying on the ground with a cut on her forehead and the world spinning around her. "Is a part of it. Her and her brainwashing propaganda!"
Without another word, Sparks hoisted Jade onto their back and took off, magical agility and strength allowing them to get away along with the panic and confusion of the general public.
There's another flash of lightning and a cloud of smoke and suddenly Sparks and Jade are both gone.
All staff is in crisis mode, doing their best to migrate panicked civilians into safer zones while something sinister is lurking in the background.
Patrons might notice monstrous shapes lurking in the background.
Meanwhile, the various cameramen throughout the fair grounds have been following all of this.
