Kunto Post One So many people everywhere, Kunto could barely take in everything she was seeing! There were stalls everywhere and people dressed so nicely! Her momma had dressed her up nicely as well, and she couldn't wait to see some of her family so they could see her pretty dress.
After helping papa she went with her momma to look for her adopted brother. "Nuaaaa! Nuaaa! Where are you Nua?" She called as she looked around. After a few minutes she heard both her and her mother's name being called.
"Momma, momma, he's over there!" She said as she pointed in Nuawahn's direction.

Huyana Post 2 The hand that was placed on his arm was almost immediately covered with his own and he turned a smile on Eirlys. "I know, but I still worry." Huy didn't think he would ever get used to the feeling of being a dad. There was always something new right around the corner. Being here at the festival wasn't so bad but knowing that his little ones could get lost made him uneasy.
He turned to check and make sure that both twins were still present just as Eiri asked him about Eira. "Hm? Oh.. I imagine they would be here, just not sure where." The thing about a trade had him wondering if maybe he should set up a stall so that he could make some profit while he was here. However, he decided against it since hat would take away from his time with his family. "Did you or the kids want to look at anything in particular?"

Iriyana Post 2 When her brother reached for her hand she had to unfold her arms from her chest so that he could. The mention of their friend made her nod. "Alright." She turned her head and looked back at her parents, caching only a little bit of what they were saying, then looked forward again. Hulis wanted to find Li so she would make sure that she found him. "I wonder where they would be.." Then it struck her. If she was looking for the whole troupe then she needed to look for either Eira, since she wore dancers clothing, or Gyuri. That tall of a man would surely stick out.
"Just look for the giant, Li should be near him." She chuckled at that.

Eirlys- Post 2 Eirlys smiled gently. "Then, we'll have to look for them...I'm sure the twins are already---" she paused as she spotted a adorable little hybrid. She had heard of the tribes mixing and mixing. Seeing it first had to the child's degree was heartwarming. She looked over to Polaris as the Janarim walked right up to the pair. She gave a warning whistle. One that the twins would know as her 'Get down from there' Whistle. Polaris stopped, sat and waited till Eirlys strode up to tug a ear. "Polaris, you know better. Back to guard duty over the twins." She was met with a whimper. "Yes...I know. The little one reminds you of Elfani." The beast huffed. "Oh, hush...their here. We'll be seeing them soon. Now. How do we greet people?" She clicked her tongue. Polaris stood, then lowered the front of his body in a bow. She smiled, giving him a affectionate rub behind his ears. "Good boy...Oh!" she looked up to the pair of hybrids. "I'm sorry...Polaris here was raised around Ice Hybrids...it seems your little one there reminds him of my baby brother. I'm Eirlys, this is Huyana my husband and the two little ones most likely hiding behind Polaris' tail are our twins. Hulis...Iriyana...you two better be where I said you are..." She kept a hand on Polaris' neck to show the youngling that the beast was under control. Polaris laid on his belly, head raised waiting for either the youngling to pet him or the twins to. Painted Moose @Callum...sorry bout the bestie...he's a overgrown puppy...

SwordOfTheDarkOnes Hulis- Post 2 Hulis was all set and ready to look for a giant when something else caught his attention. Leaning a little too far he stumbled a bit as Polaris darted out. He let out a squeak of surprise as he started to dart forward, trying to remember the signal their Mom taught them to stop the bigger beasts she trained. He stopped as his Mother took over. Marveling at her domiance over the bigger beast, he pulled his sister gently to stand in the circle Polaris' tail made as the beast came to a rest. He was curious about the little hybrid. He didn't know what the feelers on his head were from, he saw them once on a patron at the Inn...Allabae...Alkaline...oh! Alks! At least that was the short version he could recall. He looked up over Polaris' back. "We're here Momma!" He stepped forward head tilting at the other little boy. "Hi. I'm Hulis." he tugged on his sisters hand. "This is Iriyana...Did Polaris scare you?" he reached up to pet the large beast behind a ear. "He likes ear scratches..." he said with a smile.

Sol- Post Two
If it weren't for the whistle Sol may have never noticed the Janarim. His eyes had been elsewhere, scoping out a clothing stall with a pair of decorative boots, as the noise caught him off guard. When he turned his head the child squealed (though, if asked later about it, he did no such thing) and tucked himself close to his father's side. What in the gods was that thing?! It was like a raptrix, but without wings and a lot scarier.
But...then a lady chastised it and the fearsome beast whimpered? Sol furrowed his brows. And more importantly - "I'm not little," Sol grumbled. If you counted his antennae then he was taller than all the other Zenian children. If you didn't...well, then, he was perfectly average.
Still, the scary thing didn't seem so scary around her. It was enough to draw Sol out from around his Papa's legs and into the open, hand raised as if to pet Polaris. And..now that he wasn't staring at the big beast Sol noticed the two kids. He brought his hand back down to his side, "...what is he?" Sol asked Hulis.

Callum - Post Two
Well now, wasn't this something! Callum gave into a good natured laugh at the Janarim's attitude, and flashed a winning smile to it's mistress. He hadn't expected finding company in such a flurry, but life was all about the unexpected!
"A pleasure, Eirlys. Your skills in taming the creatures of Oba are great indeed." Almost absentmindedly Callum ran a hand through his son's hair while speaking, looking his fingers around the boy's antennae in an effort to calm him. He knew the child wouldn't do well around strangers, but there were two children here so maybe, just maybe..."A full family, and such a charming one at that. But where are my manners? My name is Callum, and the shy one is my son, Sol."
He wasn't going to push his son into being friendlier than he already was (since the boy was actually talking for once), but a little manners would have gone a long way. "So, do the four of you live close by, or did you come here for the festival?"

Huyana Post 3 He was in the process of nodding his head when he heard Erilys trail off. Huyana turned his head to see what it was that had caught her attention. Maybe it was a trinket or something that he could get for her? Nope! It was a child. A hybrid one at that. Unfortunately he couldn't get that for her. Then he watched as Polaris went toward the little one. Deep down he knew that the Janarim wouldn't hurt them, since the beast spent a great deal of time with the twins, but it worried him all the same that he would take off like that. However, he was no beast tamer so he left it up to Eiri to bring the creature to a halt.
He walked along with his woman and paused beside her, giving a warm smile to child as he hid behind the leg of the adult he was with. The way Erilys introduced him brought his attention to her. They had never married. Nor had they even discussed such a thing. Not that he would nay say her in public.
Instead he looked toward Callum and nodded his head in greeting. "Hello." When the boy, Sol, came out from his hiding place just a little he greeted him as well. "And hello to you too." Huy had thought to say "little one" but since the boy had insisted that he was not so he decided against it.
Looking back toward the older male he chuckled. "We're here for the festival, though we are originally from the area. Yourself?"

Iriyana Post 3 Her golden eyes watched as Polaris took off toward someone. The movement had cause her brother to stumble a little but since he was holding her hand she made sure he didn't completely fall, of course that also meant that she was pulled along with him when he followed after the big thing. But once the familiar was stopped, by their mother no less, she sighed and released her brother's hand. As Riya stood in the circle the tail made she glanced at her brother as he replied to Eirlys about their whereabouts. "It's not nice to stare Uli." She warned.
Then her twin was giving a full introduction to the boy and she had to look toward him. It was odd to see his mix, or so she thought. But the more Iriyana looked the more she saw the opposite of what Ygraine had looked like. Where she was pale this boy was dark but all the parts were there. Cept those things on his head.. Riya was sure that the other girl had not had them. "He's a Janarim. He's also a big baby so you can pet him if you'd like." Her shoulders came up in a shrug before they fell back down.
Then her eyes went toward Callum. He was a pretty man but something caught her eyes. "What happened to your neck?" Riya asked as she tilted her head curiously.

Aldren Post: 1The trip from Oba back to Sauti seemed to take near forever. Perhaps it was the exhaustion of travel and being away from home that made the return trip so much harder than the one coming down, but Aldren found that the several weeks' worth of journey and festivities brought him just about to his limit. Never had he had so much direct and immediately burning contact with the sun. His usual garb was too hot for the weather, but not wearing it seemed to give the blazing sky god a chance to turn his frosty blue skin an unhealthy shade of mauve.
He stayed under his sister's mammu's blanket. Even when walking. It was like a well-worn, smelly, blue-gray, knitted shroud, and it was not light. Fortunately, most of the others (Lebreau the mammu included), had walked on ahead, which meant Aldren felt no special responsibility to keep the oversized cover from dragging.
He peeked from beneath the shadow of his shroud and shot Zumei a grin. "I don't see why not. Surely fishes flop and break the paper for adults the same way they flop around for kids, so, yeah, you should give it a try." His gaze trailed over to the game in question. He couldn't imagine any fish living in especially long life in Zena, but did any fish ever have a long life?
"C'mon," he encouraged, dropping a portion of blanket over her head to guide her in his footsteps as he walked. "We can check it out while we're here, anyway." Hopefully, the others wouldn't mind a bit of a delay.

Jakkoa | 1
Jakkoa had always been fond of festivals.
Activity.
Change.
Movement.
People.
And with them, opportunity.
For a merchant, of course, such events were naturally an open business venture, but there was more to be earned than just coin, if one scratched just beneath the surface, and Jak was not one to ignore an itch. With crowds and conversation came information, and when the throngs were happy and relaxed, their tongues were more prone to moving freely—and thus, so did he, slipping amid and amongst the flowing people-streams. He kept his hands near to himself, though, and eyes alert and attentive, because, just as they brought opportunity for gains, so too did they for losses, and any market—particularly a bustling, busy and excited one filled with holiday distractions—was a breeding ground for thieves.
His fingers laid casually over the the area at his hip where his coin purse hung, tucked beneath his outer robes and furs. Now all he needed was a promising target for engagement.
Hargitt, so far as he knew, was still lingering back—the furthest thing from a city boy Jakkoa had ever seen. And that said something.

Hargitt - Post One
As a rule the Farys family never attended festivals. It just wasn't practical to gather together that many rowdy boys and leave the capramel unattended. Besides, you couldn't very well take half of them and leave the others without a miniature war breaking out. Thus, Hargitt had never attended a festival in his life.
And he wished it had stayed that way.
The archer had attended to stay behind, near the fringes of the gathering, but finding an area with no one else occupying it was impossible. It's what kept Hargitt on the move through the crowd, face as stern and impassive as stone itself, with no hint of his unease slipping through. Of course, it might not have been so terrible if they weren't following him.
The Stalkers.
In the beginning, when he had stopped to purchase a new whetstone, Hargitt only noticed the one. She was a tiny little slip of a girl, barely fifteen, but her eyes....those eyes were predatory. Soon enough more and more girls, women, even, flocked to her as pack mentality came into play. Now when he looked over his shoulder Hargitt spotted at least seven. It was unnerving. What did they want from him?
Even when he outright ignored them the whispered giggles continued. He tried ditching them by slipping into a tailor's tent and exiting the back. Still, somehow they had managed to follow him.
Hargitt knew the instant he stopped that it was a mistake. Some idiotic part of his mind coaxed him into simply asking them what they wanted, and in an instant he was swarmed.
"What's your name? I'm Vyra-"
"-are you single?-"
"I'm engaged," Hargitt stated as bluntly as possible. In his mind that should have been enough to end it. However, that didn't stop the one named Vyra from snatching up his left hand and looking critically at his fingers.
"I don't see a ring." She grinned. "Can't be too serious."

Eirlys- Post 3 The female realized a little late at what she just said. Blushing lightly she looked down to Polaris, then smiled as she looked back up to Callum. "Well, met. Callum. Your son is absolutely adorable." She leaned slightly back into Huyana. Looking up to the male once before she heard Sol speak to the twins. She smiled as she nodded in answer to Callum's question. "We are...my mothers should be around here somewhere." She looked around for them. Knowing that once she did spot them, them talking to Callum would end quickly. "We're looking, but no big rush. They'll be here for the whole festival."

Hulis- Post 3 The child smiled brightly. "He's--" he looked at his sister. Going a little quiet before he spoke up again. He said softly, but loud enough to be heard. "His name's Polaris. He watches over my sis and I..." Polaris lowered his head to allow Sol to pet him. The Janarim perfectly fine with interaction. Hulis petted the large beast before looking back to Sol. "Your eyes are really pretty...did anyone ever tell you that?" The other boy was the first hybrid he had met. He sorta wanted to get to know Sol more....though he was a tad worried the other boy didn't feel the same.

Jakkoa | 2“—and further north,” Jakkoa was saying, touching the tips of his fingers to his chest and then gesturing again as he spoke. “So I’ve never been about a place with so many people. It’s terribly exciting…” The man before him was listening—or, mostly so, his eyes wandering from Jakkoa’s ears and then down the front of him between conversation, and clearly, he’d made use of the festival’s available spirits. The line of commentary, though, sank in at least enough to get the man’s lips stretching back in a grin of sorts, and he stepped in to drop a hand on Jak’s shoulder. “Well, as I’ve said, I’m familiar with these parts, an’ if you’re lookin’ to be doin’ business here for the festivities…” Jakkoa’s eyes caught stray motion, and a moment later were narrowing a fraction of an inch. Hargitt was impossible to miss. His small hoard, even more so. It occurred to Jak, of course, that his interference was not precisely necessary. He didn’t owe the man anything, certainly, and their ‘engagement’ had been purely for the eyes of the larger man’s family—nothing they intended to continue making a guise of elsewhere. But, just the same, it never hurt to have a person of substantial use in one’s debt, and the capramel-herder appeared distinctly out of his element. And the partially-intoxicated man in front of Jak himself was not proving to be especially useful. He offered a thin smile. “I am sorry, I’ve just seen an acquaintance of mine who’s been looking for me. I will be hereabouts, however, and keep you in mind if I need any assistance finding my way about, very well?” The question was accompanied by a dip and slip of his shoulder, and before the man could fully answer, Jak was mingling himself into the crowd—and dusting off his shoulder. One, two, three, four… Seven women. Jak did a quick, peremptory assessment before slipping in. He clicked his tongue as he did. “I leave you alone for a handful of minutes and you accumulate more suitors than I have fingers on my favored hand. And beautiful ones at that,” he said, sparing a smile for one of the nearer girls and slipping in just close enough to give a ‘consoling’ pat to Hargitt’s bicep. “Haven’t you told them the gods spoiled you for all women and you only ever draw your sword on men? Unless the loveliness in this small cluster has inspired you otherwise, I suppose, I couldn’t blame you…”
