Makani gave a smile and said, "To have a knowledge of all magic is a useful thing, even if you end up stronger with one type then another." He said as he lifted a foot, tapping it against the barrel to check how much water was in the barrel. The first one seemed as though it was nearly full. Focusing for a moment he topped off the barrel before he allowed the spells he was using to sputter out and vanish. Once that was done he was able to turn toward where he could sense the the children were gathered.

"Mystic is a good class, it's what I am training to be though it will take some time before I get to that point personally." He said before he reached one hand out, allowing it to hover over Uli's head, seeing if he could read him and his magic. Makani gave a humming sound, his fox eyes opening to show just a slit of hazy yellow before they closed again, "There is potential in you... though you will need to work hard if you wish to access the power that is within you."

His attention then went to where he heard Riya's voice, "Magic isn't for everyone, something I know quite well as I am a bit of an anomaly in my family. You don't want to force anything. I am sure it will come, what path you want to walk when the time comes."

Uli looked up to Makani large eyes blinking. As the elder spoke the child smiled brightly. Nodding he soaked up all the other male said. Looking over to his sister he tilted his head. "Maybe something more along the warrior path? Like Mom? She's pretty active with the beasts all the time."

He was hoping his sister was alright. He smiled at Li. "I don't mind coming back to help with the Inn, we'll just have to see where Mom and Dad settle down at." he walked over to his sister then. Hugging her close before he went to Li to hug him too. He looked back to Makani as he walked back to him. "Makani...can I hug you?"

He just felt like everyone needed a hug.

Makani gave a thoughtful, humming sound before he said, "There is Gyuri to chat with but other then him the main group here is mostly dancers, musicians, and magic wielders. We get a lot of other warriors coming through but I doubt your parents want you talking to strangers about their warrior's training or class choices." As useful as the information could be that one could get from all of the inn's guests there was the problem that they were still just younglings and no where near old enough to just chat with random guests he thought to himself.

Giving a smile he said, "Perhaps when you are older such an option will be open to you?" He tilted his head to one side as Uli was suddenly asking him about a hug, giving a nod of his head, "I don't see why not, just be careful of the crystals on my elbows and shoulders, I wouldn't want you to bump them." He cautioned before he took a knee so the boy could give him a hug if it was what he so desired to do.

Uli happily hugged the older male. "Thank you, Mr. Makani!" he let go to bounce back to his sister and friend. He looked between the two before rocking on his feet a bit. "So...what did you two want to do now? Should we watch more magic or go off for a adventure?"

He wasn't so fond of some adventures as Riya tended to cause trouble, which usually had their parents either upset or conflicted. He looked back to them. "If we go on an adventure, why don't we go to the beast stables to see what's there now?" he tilted his head.

Makani turned back to his work, making a few motions with his hands, and got the water flowing once more. He wanted to get this going, to get the barrels filled, and back to the inn quickly so that he would have to get back doing more enjoyable things. As the children spoke about going on a possible adventure he said, "Be sure to bring someone with you, I don't want the three of you to wander off or risk getting hurt." He lifted one hand, getting a feel for the position of the sun by the where the warmth was located before he said, "At this time of day Gyuri might be free, he might be the best to take on an adventure or perhaps Borra if he's not busy?"

With that he turned back to what he was doing once more, "If you can't find them then you should stick close to the inn, maybe with Branko?" They would remain safe then, which was what he preferred, not wanting them to risk any injuries because they went too far from the inn alone. At the mention of going to the stables he nearly dropped the water he was working with, "Ah! If you are going there then definitely bring someone with you and don't go into any of the stalls since the beasts are strangers."

Hulis chuckled as he nodded to the adult. "Yes, Mr. Makani. We'll be safe. Momma taught us better than that. Strange beasts aren't safe." he took Li's hand as he felt that they were all gearing up to take their own paths. He looked at his sister. "If you go to nap, send Polaris to find me? That way Momma knows I'm okay..."

He knew his Mother worried far too quickly if he and his sister weren't in her sight for a long period of time. He looked at Li. "I go where you go...ready?" He would follow the older child. He looked back to Makani. "Mr. Makani, thank you for your time."
