The look in his eyes didn't fade, though Aqio made a slight face at the pet. He should of expected this much from Shesha. The male was predictable at times, others...not so much. The slender Matori leaned back into the wall. "So...did you want people to think something happened? Or just walk out like everything's normal?"

He personally would love to see the faces of the merchants that kept glancing at the darkened alley. Aqio couldn't help the small smirk that kept fighting to be let out. "I'm fine with making them think something happened. Would be entertaining."

Normally he wouldn't be on for being in the spotlight. He just wanted to cheer himself up right now.

Shesha gave Aqio a look and said, "As normal, of course. I have a reputation to maintain at the moment, little fish, and I can't go about tarnishing it by chasing after Water Tribe tail. Perhaps when I finally have a title of my own." Something he itched to get his hands on. One day he would get what he wanted, though he knew that it was going to take a lot more work on his part before he was really able to enjoy what it meant to be a part of the upper crush. How lucky those just born into such things were he thought to himself idly.

Turning back to Aqio he said, "I might look to you for your skills once I am more established, either as an assassin or as something else... though to be honest the former does hold more appeal due to its many uses." Perhaps he'd just used the 'something else' as a tool so long that it just didn't feel like top priority when it came to entertainment. He could think of other ways to go about having fun without having to default to the most base of activities unlike some.

"Come along then, now that we're done with our little chat we really should see about shopping. You could use a new outfit or two, I'm sure we can get you fancied up easily enough."

Aqio brushed the slight insult off as they walked back out into the crowd. He folded his arms gracefully in front of him the shawl draping just so over his upper arms and elbows. "Gathering information is something that I'm training in now. Once my Caretaker has granted me clearance, I'll be allowed to leave Oba to further those skills."

Granted he wanted to go that was. Aqio wasn't seeing any reason as to why he had to leave. He inclined his head. "I assume you know the best stalls. I'll follow you." He mused over what he could get. Perhaps anklet bells...would make his stealth skills that more impressive if he could figure how to walk in them with little sound.

Shesha starred for a long moment as he walked along with Aqio at his size, giving a thoughtful sound, "You plan to leave Oba then? Interesting." He didn't give any indication that the new bothered him, yet it did to a degree. The idea that the little fish would be leaving was a shame, it meant that he wouldn't be seeing him again. Not as though Shesha had any plans at the moment to leave Sulburi, let alone Oba entirely. He liked where he was and he meant to stay right here, working on his continued rise in the ranks.

"Of course, one needs to know all the best stalls and build up a relationship with the merchants if they want to get good deals as well as special treatment." He said with a bit of a smirk. If only it was so easily to get such special treatment among the court, but that was the difference between the lower, middle, and upper classes he supposed. Motioning with his hand he said, "That shop over there, the actual building, is one that sells only cloth. If you know how to sew its a great place to go to get really nice cloth. If you get there early in the day you can get a look at the new shipments first and buy them before anyone else has a chance."

Something that everyone worth their salt knew so it was a bit of a game to see who got to snag up all the nice new stuff first. He turned and motioned again, "Now that place over there, they work with the women in that shop and sell finished outfits, also a place you will want to become acquainted with, little fish. They can help dress you up nice so you can impress those you want to get close to."

Aqio listened to Shesha nodding as he kept a mental list of things. He tilted his head humming. "Sounds like a good partnership between those two. So, where did you want to go first?"

The youth was thinking over what type of outfit he would want. Something tempting, but not too showy. He looked at his current outfit. Keeping to this sort of theme...he huffed. "What would be best to tempt, but not show everything I have to offer..."

He realized a little late that he just spoke like one of the female rookies that he trained alongside. The Matori male rubbed his temple. He really needed to snap back to himself, things this trivial normally didn't bother him. So what was his deal now?

Shesha turned to look over at Aqio, giving a bit of a chuckle, "The last thing you want to do is show off too much, instead you want to show off just a little bit. A peek here and there that will get the imagination of those you're dealing with racing." He explained, turning to look at Aqio before he leaned in a little closer to him, letting the drape he wore slip just a little to show off one shoulder. Giving a smile he murmured, "You needn't show off too much because even just a hint will draw all sorts of interest from those that you're flirting with if you do it just right."

Leaning in so that his lips were a breath away from Aqio's lips... before he drew back, giving a grin, before he said, "Come on, we will get you a nice drape like mine. You can do all manner of things with it that will keep the interest of those around you. Letting it slip by 'accident', using the edge of it to fan yourself, and the like." For being an 'assassin in training' he sure was a rather naive boy. It was as though the darkness that glittered in his eyes a moment ago was just a fluke.

Walking over to the booth with the various outfits laid out he greeted the owner before looking around, finding a drape that he felt would look good with Aqio's skin type, and motioned to him, "Here, try this one."

Aqio followed the other male. Tilting his head he tied the veil around his shoulders to his waist, the sheer material adding a allure to him. He slipped the drape on, tilting his head as he looked at Shesha. "How's this look?"

The drape wasn't overly patterned. Simple wisps of silver, a hint of turquoise along the edge. Overall it suited the water male just fine. Decorated enough he could lure, subdued enough he could blend if he had to.

Shesha gave a nod of his head, "It looks good on you, the color especially is quite a nice draw. Now I'd say all that you need to do is practice how to move in just the right way. In a manner that draws attention without it seeming as though it's on purpose. You never want to seem as though you're trying to hard after all." He probably shouldn't be sharing all of his secrets with Aqio, it wasn't ast hough he had any strong and lasting bond with the little fish after all, but he supposed it wouldn't hurt. He'd be leaving after all so sharing a couple secrets on how to deal with people would be a parting gift of sorts.

"You could also use a nice hair accessory, like the one you bought in the past, to hold your hair up. There are a lot of people, your 'Beast Lord' especially, who would find interest in it. The predatory sorts especially since they'd see your next and think that you're prey instead of a predatory yourself." He suggested, certain that the Beast Lord would be lured in by such a thing, leaving himself open to attack, "Though I still suggest that you don't go after that one straight away... he'd probably win unless you were able to catch him sleeping." And even then it wouldn't be a guarantee.

Aqio nodded. "Makes sense. Is there another merchant you suggest for that?" he asked as he walked to the merchant to pay for the drape. The water male didn't notice the woman's blush as he smiled softly at her. He was cute when he smiled. As soon as he had paid the male walked back to Shesha.

"Unless you want to teach me a thing or two about movement?" he lightly teased. The youth knew that his Caretaker could teach him as the male also had a drape he wore sometimes out to a gathering. Though the older male's drape was altered to hide various small blades and such. He would have to commission a special drape for that at a later time. He glanced around giving a small jump when he saw the familiar smirk of the Beast Lord. "Oh for pity's sake...every single time..." he hissed.

"I'd suggest returning to the merchant whose booth we first met in front of. If you recall where he is that is, if not I suppose I could show you the way. I was meaning to pick myself up something pretty as it was." He wanted to buy something to perk himself up, not that he would actually admit that sort of thing out loud. Better that he seemed like a spoiled brat then one that was bothered by the fact that something strange was going on back home. Nothing that he wanted to drag others into and much to his delight he wouldn't have to as the converstaion flowed to the idea of movement.

Giving a thoughtful sound and a sigh, as though it were a lot of work that Aqio was asking about, Shesha opened his mouth to answer... before he turned to look in the direction that the little fish was looking. He couldn't say that he was in any way surprised by what he saw there, "Mmm, yes, ever the predator. It seems as though he's picked up your scent and is wanting to be the one to gobble you up, little fish. So, what do you want to do? It might be best to start making our way to wherever your caretaker is so I can pass you off."

While Shesha wasn't a coward, he'd probably chat with the 'Beast Lord' were the man to approach them, but as it was he didn't have his guard with him today. That meant that if the man decided he was taking Aqio then Shesha wouldn't be able to do all that much... and he couldn't say that he knew a lot of guards that would step in to save a random Water Tribesman from someone like that. As such it might be a good idea for the two of them 'casually' move along even if that meant that their shopping was definitely over for the day.

Aqio shook his head as he looked around for someone. He spotted a thick high dreadlocked ponytail and smiled. "Nope...Caretaker is inside today. He's worried about Mentor...instead I have a secondary guard who's training alongside me..." He took Shesha's arm. "Knowing the Beast Lord, your here without a guard. He'd go after you..come on." The slender water male guided Shesha to the tall lanky males side.

"Palla!" Aqio called out. The lanky male turned to smile down at them.

"Aqio! Ah..." he blinked trying to remember where he had seen the other male.

Aqio looked at Shesha. "Palla here is the youngest son to the Rider Lord, Kallasin. He's training with me as per his family tradition."

Palla smiled. "Mhm! Where you two going?"

Aqio glanced back to see the beast lord hightail it. Palla was lanky, but there was a wicked looking curved spear on his back for a reason. "A merchant who's nearby. Getting a hair ornament."

Palla chuckled. "I'll escort you there."

A secondary guard, hm? He found himself curious about who it might be that was nearby, looking to aid the little fish. The real question was likely if the 'secondary guard' was someone that would even be able to stand up against the Beast Lord or not. He highly doubted it but it was more likely that the man would make a move if they were in a group, likely why he was rushing the two of them over to the guy. He found himself looking the man over as he appeared, wondering who he was exactly.

"Hm? Ahhh." The youngest son of a 'Rider Lord'. While the latter might cause Shesha a bit of interest, mostly due to the title, the part about him being the youngest ruined it. He wasn't interested in a youngest son, he would much rather be the arm candy of an actual Lord or Lady or, at the very worst their heir. A youngest son was of no use to Shesha but seemed to be somehow useful to Aqio at least since they were training together and he was running to him for aid.

After a long moment of silence, and Aqio announcing that they were still going shopping, Shesha said, "It seems we are under your care then." He wondered how long the addition of this one would fend off the 'Beast Lord'. He supposed that they would just have to see.

Aqio made sure he had Shesha on his arm. Palla chuckled. "If you knew the family history...ah, I should explain. I'm the only son of the Rider Lord's first wife. As such, I'm the official heir, but if you look at it I have three older brothers from his two Mistress's." Palla explained as the walked.

Aqio spotted the merchant stall smiling. "Ah..Palla, this is Shesha." The water male threw out casually. As they got closer the water male spotted something blue...and pretty. He looked at Shesha. "I think I spotted something...come look." he gently pulled the other towards it and pointed. "What about that?"

An interesting family Shesha found himself thinking a touch surprised that the Rider Lord, whoever he was exactly, would keep his other sons around even though they were older and not the legitimate heirs. It seemed altogether dangerous for the one called Palla really, surely if they decided they wanted to be the heirs couldn't they just off their baby brother? A thought he kept to himself and hidden behind a smile as he simply said, "I see." There were many questions that he'd love to ask the guy but he'd keep them all to himself, wanting instead to focus on everything around them, not trusting the 'Beast Lord' even if traveling in a group might be a way to keep from being bothered.

He found himself pulled forward, something that made him give a bit of a sigh, not one who liked to be yanked about, before he found himself in front of a booth filled with shining trinkets. It wasn't the one that he normally went to, the quality wasn't as high nor were the prices, but it was still interesting enough to look at. After a moment of studying was was laid out before them he turned his attention to the hair ornament that Aqio pointed out, studying it.

"It's not too bad, little fish. The blue is a nice shade that won't clash with your skin and the gold will go well with your eyes. Definitely something worth considering."

Palla chuckled. "I know what your thinking...everyone thinks it. If they want the House all they have to do is hire an assassin to take me out right?" he smirked while tapping the pole on his curved spear. "That's why I have this...and that's why I'm training with Aqio."

Aqio on the other hand was fiddling with the hair piece...he paid for it with a tender smile. The merchant giving him a slight discount for the item. Aqio spotted a small dangle clasp. Turning he tapped Shesha's arm. "Think that would look good on your little companion?" He glanced up to the pretty creature. Wondering if he would ever get his own...
