Incanthis let his eyes close, a soft smile on his face. How nice it would have been were his mother to be able to meet Abie... though he'd never want his father anywhere near him. He'd never understand, likely think Incanthis even weaker for cuddling up with a friend at his age instead of being out training with a sword. A part of him at times wondered if maybe his father had been right all along? If he'd had a sword maybe he could have been able to better defend himself. A thought that he was quick to quash, not wanting to give the man, dead or alive, the satisfaction of such thoughts.

"I'm sorry... are you sure you want to go on a trip with me? I mean, if you'd rather we could look for them." He offered, wondering if that was something Abie should do instead of going on a trip with Incanthis. He didn't think that he had much chance of finding his own brothers but maybe there was a chance that Abie's family could be found? If it was a possibility the young Matorian was interested in then surely, as the older of the two of them, he should see to it that it happened?

Giving a gentle smile Incanthis started to gently stroke Abie's hair once more, "Alright, we will see about going there whenever you feel ready to do so. We will be sure to invite Aqio along as well, provided of course that he wants to come with us." He wasn't sure if both brothers would want to go on the trip to the special spot, but there was no reason to leave Aqio out of such an important trip. Giving the younger man a glance he said, "I hope that we are able to find him." If it was something that Abie wanted to do then he would definitely do it, for the sake of the friend that meant so much to him.

Shifting slightly he allowed the snaptrotters to get comfortable on top of them Incanthis couldn't help but to laugh softly, "You know Junior, Laqui, you're not going to be able to be able to do this for much longer. It's not going to be long before the two of you climbing up onto a bed is gonna crush it... not to mention what you will do if you climb onto our laps."

He looked at Abie, "Can imagine getting swarmed by the lot of them when their bigger? Not even adults but like... teens." Even that would be crazy.

Incanthis couldn't help but to give a soft laugh as Abie brought back the joke that he'd made a while ago about 'lap-trotters' which was something that amused him greatly. The idea that the nickname might stick to the clutch was something that had him smiling, "I will do my best to help with that training... though I know it will be hard." The idea of telling Junior 'no' about anything was a difficult thought since Incanthis wanted nothing more then to spoil the little whelp.

"Yeah, we should rest up." He said, letting his eyes close, "Especially since the clutch is going to want the play the moment the sun is up... best to get what sleep we can." It was likely they would be dragged from sleep by a mass of snaptrotters bouncing across them sooner then later.
