- She hummed shortly at that. Cassie did find it all fascinating, just as much as she found it fascinating to read of the old in the history books, but everything in her life was one day at a time lately and even trying to comprehend was the new mix of races was about to do simply made her head hurt. The Fallen shifted the slightest on the couch, waiting until Osiris was almost completely out of the sight behind the edge of the kitchen wall in order to properly reposition herself. Her legs had quickly fallen asleep, and now she harbored deep regrets for trying to be so dainty before the hybrid.
"I think to some it sounds a lot more complicated than it is in practice," she defended their choices with a shrug, going back to her glass as she made way towards the bottom much more slowly. "It helps that I found a pair that were already close enough, it worked so seamlessly around the house." A new smile played over her lips, always forever fond of their quirky dynamics. "Hmm. Actually, yes. You probably should fear it. You need to be able to let all expectations go and just roll with it. Not everyone likes giving up that much freedom to fate," she teased, her voice vibrating around the glass as she spoke partially into it before stealing another larger sip with Osiris still out of sight.
Before he could fully return, she was setting down the empty glass on the table. It was her house and there was already rings left behind that had inevitably gotten shuffled under a magazine or something in order to avoid Aten's cleanly hand. She'd get it later. "Will you judge us if we answer honestly?" Cassie questioned with a quick retort, tilting her head to the side. She wasn't sure if he meant young as in so much time, or young as to be making such decisions. Her ears shifted the slightest in thought. "I want more. I've wanted children ever since I was little myself, and even if Smolder is a dork, he's my dork, and I await the chance to imbue with him." Absently she picked a piece of fuzz off of her dress.
