┗ Zuko simply smiled as he was being thanked by Shihou for the encouraging words. Oh not at all, honestly I don't know how this village would be without you. You are my right hand, which makes you a very important person to me and to everyone who lives here along with us. With you alongside, I can be a better Hokage. Zuko stated as Shihou took a half of the last stack and began signing off on them, leaving Zuko to go over the last stack. It did truly help especially with time cause nobody wanted to be doing paperwork the entire day. Whoever enjoys something like this...really needs to get out more. ┓

All those words he said praising Shihou, and yet they were still stuck indoors dealing with these files and documents. They were important and needed to be done, but was exceedingly droll. No genin or chunin were coming in to serve as entertainment either with their ridiculous requests for missions. If only they had a secretary or an assistant to take care of some of these files, but that seemed to be part of her job. After some time, she finished her stack and waited for Zuko to he done. Hopefully with how calm the village seemed to be today, there would be little activity and no more paperwork to be done, giving them a short list of work that needed to be done. Shihou sighed and dropped the pen on the desk in front of her now that she was done. "Fingers crossed for no more paperwork, there's still work I need to do outside of this office."

After spending quite a bit of time inside the office taking care of things, they finally finished the work Zuko originally put aside to meditate, and now they get to leave and enjoy the rest of the day. "I would love to, actually. I need to get a real workout in, so if you want to join me, I'll be at the Third." Shihou got back up from her seat, stretching a bit as she mounted the gunbai in her back as before. She checked to make sure she had all her possesions and left the office feeling a bit antsy, heading straight to the training grounds to get some practice in, to scratch that combat itch.

┗ Zuko kept silent in conjunction to a head nod as a response to Shihou in wanting to get a workout in her for the day. After she left, he yawned and stretched while leaning back in his chair. I'm for sure I'm not spending my day in here since there's not many missions happening around, no wars, no village strife, not a thing. Meh too much of that can sometimes make you miss little strife but nah, no way. Saying to himself, turning around to view the village once more. I'll stop by the river for that nice sound of flowing water, then I can get a peek at her training. Saying with a smile, Zuko immediately flashed, disappearing from the office and into the village. ┗ Entering his office, Zuko stood in silence as he pondered about the 3 "visitors" that came before the incident transpired into what could've been a huge disaster if not taken care of quickly. There was the girl who made it bleek obvious that she was seriously the culprit, then the medical Kage of Takigakure who appeared out of nowhere just in time to save his life and Hinako, the jōnin of Taki. The funny thing was that when she grabbed him and looked at Zuko, her vibe, sense of authority, her entire presence was that of a Kage herself. Though he could be wrong, but if he didn't know any better it would appear that those 2 have decided to play "role-switch" for some odd reason.
Thus thinking back to Hinako, the girl who obviously wouldn't leave Zuko's mind somehow left a mark of territory on Zuko. Her radiance could not be ignored whatsoever. He shrugged off his thoughts for a bit as he went to his desk and wrote down a recap of the incident, making sure he didn't leave out any details. Usually he would have Shihou make a copy of the documentation but he wrote it out twice since Shihou wasn't around Zuko at the particular time. The moment he finished, he dropped his pen just to ponder once more

After pondering, Zuko decided to leave the office once more to check on the Taki ninja. They both should be recuperating at this point, especially Kazuto who healed him and other civilians from earlier today. Maybe at this rate, I can get some more information out of them both. ┗ After what had transpired over the course of the day, Matarashi showed back at his the roofing of his tower, in the center. Sitting upon the ceiling looking up to the blue sky above. Hm... Not much left to say after the experience caused by a few others who didn't even reside here at all. Plus, not to mention the apparent "passing" of the one who actually saved hundreds of innocent lives. There was really only one thing left for the Kage to do at this point which was to simply meditate this over. Toshiko settled into her chair, breathing a sigh of relief as she finally had a few moment to herself. Between the exams and all the other duties that she had to preform, it left almost no time for her to actually unwind and relax, let alone catch her breath and think clearly. Her own village had done particularly well in the exams, but then again, they had sent the most people to begin with, so it was kind of expected. Now, all that was left was to set about restructing the village and squads and to make sure everything was balanced. Now that they had more Chuunin, they could undertake more missions, and harder missions. And at some point, she needed to track down that elusive Hachiryu of hers that seemed to have disappeared into thin air.

The black haired Hyuuga had appeared in the office of the Hokage while kneeling down with his head down and his eyes locked to the floor. Mikoto had gone further than the other genin of the village and had become a Tokubetsu Jonin due to his insane showcase of Taijutsu in the chunin exams. He was originally given the Chunin rank for a month or so before finally going up further.
"My mission is finished Lady Hokage. I was successful in removing the threat that was near the village. 3 targets taken out. The last one has been taken into custody. After this I will be visiting Lady Shihou for my training."
Mikoto explained as he stood up and looked to the red haired woman that was his Hokage. Mikoto saw her as a pretty calm woman so he didn't mind her company when visiting either so this visit was very trivial to him. He quickly smiled at the woman to show that he was alright with the type of mission he executed and wasn't really down about anything.
"Is there anything you would like me to do before I begin training? Maybe have a chat or something?" He asked.
She did not respond to his question so he would simply take that as his queue to leave. "Later." He said before vanishing into thin air.

Toshiko read over the report that Mikoto had left on her desk, gazing over the details slowly. He had done better than she anticipated, especially in bringing back a prisoner to be interrogated. She almost felt sorry for the poor soul. Toshiko rose form her seat, walking over to the window behind her desk, looking out over the village for a few moments. Had it truly come to this, that they now needed to torture peopel in order to maintain the peace of not only the village but of the country as well. It felt odd that even in a time of peace there was a secret war occurring in the shadows. Putting down the folder of Mikoto's report, Toshiko grabbed her coat, throwing it around her shoulder as she walked out the front door, eager to see why the others had yet to return from their mission.

Mayr was alive! Mayr was stronger than ever. All his training this month have really turned him into a super genin. Mayr didn't even feel like a genin anymore. To be honest. Mayr was standing in the Hokage's office. Mayr just finished speaking with a few ninja guards. They said they would contact the Hokage as soon as they get word on her position. He was in her office alone. Mayr gulped. "This is going to be my first direct confrontation with her. The Hokage." Mayr knew he wouldn't be disappointed. Mayr would have to show her he's a man even for his young age. There were other ways to get what he wanted. But this was the fastest. Uchiha Mayr put a hand on his waist. He awaited the Hokage to show up. Mayr has never been in this room before. He let out a laugh. He hoped he wasn't giving his hopes up. Setting his goals extremely high had their risks, after all. Mayr would first introduce himself. With a small gesture like showing his Sharingan.
His 3 tomoe Mastered Sharingans! Mayr closed his eyes and opened them. Showing his mastered Sharingan. Mayr was a genjustu specialist. "I've worked very hard for a full month straight. Without stopping my training. Even Hinote-sensei my Jounin pushed me to my limits. Let's see what the Hokage has to say about my wish, idea's, courage." Standing in her office the crimson eye genin began looking around.

Toshiko looked up from her desk, putting down the book she had been reading at the time that was going over different medical procedures. She would seem to have appeared out of thin air but in reality, she had never really left her office. She watched as Mayr walked in and activated his sharingan. While it was rare to see someone so young mastering the first stage, she had seen it handful of times before. It showed a level of extreme dedication that few lower level ninja put in. It was a little impressive. "Mayr correct? Surprised to see you advancing so quickly, but Shihou does set the bar high for Uchiha. Is there any reason you are here in particular?"

"Hokage-Sama." Once her presence was announced. Mayr went down in a knee fast. Mayr kept his head down. Hair covering his face. "Thank you. Thank you for accepting this meeting." Mayr on his knee remained still. His vision was fine, but for him. This was a bit amusing. Mayr didn't notice the Hokage was in here the entire time. That much was already vivid. He smiled underneath all his hair. Mayr picked his head up glancing at the Hokage with his mastered Sharingan eyes.
His 3 Tomoe's peering at the Hokage in the flesh. "Well, I guess I have some explaining to do. I've felt like a big fish in a little goldfish bowl for four years, miss. I have so much experience. My skills have been heightened at least three folds. Through my harsh training I've even found my own style of mastering the Sharingan. These Sharingan eye's aren't just for show. Recently, my first assigned Jounin. And I have gotten into a spar. I defeated him. I have a second Jounin now. He's way out of my league though. I can do so much, yet I'm limited to being a Genin. I've decided to train extremely hard to separate myself from all the genin in the village. But this isn't enough. It's like aimlessly trying to crawl up a well as a frog. My request, Hokage-sama. Is that you raise me to Chuunin rank? I don't think there will be a Chuunin exam any time soon. Yet, I'm so ready, and so much stronger now. For the rank Chuunin. I believe I'll be a better help to the village, and missions. As a Chuunin. Also, there's this scripture in the Uchiha District. That I maybe shouldn't talk to you about. But, it has more scriptures that my Sharingan cannot perceive. I feel like there's more to the Sharingan than just these 3 Tomoe's. Like there's another level past this 3 Tomoe Sharingan. There is so much on my mind. However, most importantly I wish to be a Chuunin. I really want to be a Chuunin." He learned so much in these 4 four years being a Genin.

In all honesty, she could have waited until the exams to promote him, but she needed more ninja, so what could she do? She scanned him up and down a few times. He was certainly strong and it did take several years of dedication to reach the stage he was at now. "And one final warning. A fire that burns to quickly can often extinguish itself. Don't be afraid to slow down and take things slow for a little while. You are dismissed Mayr."
