Kimberly leapt to her feet, ignoring her own shadow at the moment in favor of going to help the other two who seemed to be working to fight. She smiled a bit and raced past her own shadow, not bothering it since it would wait, for some weird reason.

"Um... sure...," Kari agreed with a hint of suspicion in her voice while she chipped away at the shadow some more. They could definitely use the help since another shadow in the hunter's own image had appeared. Crowd control needed to be instilled if they wanted to make it through the day unscathed, and more participants would increase their chances of success. "What about you Camilla? Ready for a three versus two bout?," the reaper asked, her weapon poised for another attack. HP: 36/50 Weapon: Fishing Pole (2d6-2) Camilla Shadow: 25/40 Kinberly Shadow: 50/50 Dmg: 2

Camilla steps back as the shadow her continues it's beraidment... "Such a helpless little thing aren't you! Fearing Thunderstorms, running from cats, and falling asleep in the cold! Ha! Your better off being some's lunch!" it sneers in a sharp tone before laughing boastfully! At this point Camilla was pouting heavily at the shadow her... She would have objected... Only some of what it was saying was true... Slowly, her tail curls around one of her legs as she takes another step back from it's approach... The normally brave and cheerful Dormouse ghoul wasn't feeling so brave and certainly not cheerful facing that thing for some reason... Finally, Kari's words about someone nearby tugged her attention away from the shadow's taunting! This snapped her out of whatever it was the thing had put her in, and caused her to be curious. "A hunter?" she parrots as her mood starts quickly improving and her tail uncurls. So the creeple in the white coats were called hunters? If they were the modern knights who hunted Shadowlings, it was fitting. "Are they the modern version of the Knights?" she as curiously as she watches the ghoul hit her shadow hard! When the question of trust was posed, Camilla nods confidently! "Yeah! She's helping us even though she has her own shadow to worry about!" she chirps happily! Nodding at Kari's second question, Camilla quickly slides into a battle pose. However! Before she could even react, a furry ball of angry shadows was upon her! The shadow her had reacted to the attacks from the other two, but it really wanted Camilla! "Eek!" she squeaks in surprise as the pare go tumbling! They quickly turn into a ball of screeches and yelps as they roll along the ground! Camilla tried her best to keep her limbs away from the creature's powerful mouth, but finally it caught her arm and bit down! "A-ack!" she telps as the razor sharp fangs pierce skin and draw blood! Now this bite hurt! Battle Stats My Hp: 31/40 Camilla's Shadow: 25/36 Vayne's Shadow: 40/40 Damage: 0 Weapon: N/a (Not using it until I get it on the minisite.)

HP: 40/50 Weapon: Vayne's frying pan. 2d12-6 Mob HP (camilla Shadow): 24/40 Mob HP (Kimberly's Shadow):40/40 Dmg: 3 Kimberly was not insulted by the mistrust at all, it made sense with the history the factions had going, but this little foray had been teaching her a lot. The big great monster named G had been darn right affectionate to fellow hunters and herself, and others had been willing to fight along side her, she had to trust that for now at least, they could make alliances and survive this all. She looked over at the mouse and nodded her head, before turning to the Reaper. "You are a reaper yes?" She shrugged. "If you don't trust me that is fine, I just want to get my ward to safety."

"Yes... I am," she confirmed carefully, hearing out the woman's explanation. Kari had to agree with the Hunter's sentiment. Their priority was making it out of the area with their humans intact. "So hunters are in on this little escapade as well?"Dodging another critical hit, Kari swatted at the shadow once more to ward it off from its assault on Camilla, "Back off, you foggy pest!" She noted that it was beginning to slow down before turning back to the hunter. "Since you're helping rather than hanging back, I can trust you enough to work with you.... you're right in that we need to keep the humans safe. She could hear her own shadow prattling on about some nonsense and she ignored it, because who gave a crap what it had to say, it was nothing she cared about at least. Heck she knew her own failings, and she didn't need some weird shadow thing to tell her about them. She looked again at the mouse shadow and knocked it back a few feet with a nice slam from the frying pan. The blond guy had a good idea taking it with him, the fishing rod had been nice but this had a good swing to it. Flipping it in her hand she nodded to the mouse girl, glad it was perking up a bit. "The name is Kimberly by the way, nice to meet the both of you." She looked again at the human shaped shadow, and rolled her eyes. "We need to finish up this one shadow before we can pay mind at the one copying me. It will be a pain... I faced it before." Rikku Takahashi Don't worry hun, I just want to make sure you get into these fights for the drops. ^_^

The pare had knocked the Shadow her off, and distracted it while she got back to her feet! She was scratched, bitten, and a little bedraggled, but she was also determined now! They were fighting HER shadow and kicking it's tail! If she didn't get at least one hit on it... It'd prove what her shadow was saying was true... Camilla didn't even bother falling into a battle position, she just lunges and scratches at her shadow! Unfortunately, her claws were short and it didn't do much damage. The shadow repaid her in full with a clean bite to her shoulder! "Eek!" she yelps before jerking away from her shadow! However, when the Hunter ghoul gave her name, Camilla couldn't help but smile and give a little happy tail wag! "I'm Camilla, Camilla Forester!" she chirps despite the bite wound! She'd suffered worse at the paws of cats, this was nothing! Battle Stats My Hp: 26/40 Camilla's Shadow: 6/36 Kimberly's Shadow: 40/40 Damage: 1 Weapon: N/a Steal Thankies! I tend to avoid ORP battles usually because I hate holding people up... But with the health system in this meta, I can't really do that...

HP: 30/50 Weapon: Vayne's frying pan. 2d12-6 Mob HP (camilla Shadow): ded Mob HP (Kimberly's Shadow):30/40 Dmg: 10 The shadow started going on about how unsure Kimberly was, and how it knew that she feared.... then it went silent as if unsure what to do or say. Kimberly on the other hand was just staring at the shadow a moment with a bland, almost bored look on her face. "Oh are you done now? Yeah I don't care what you say. So I fear things.. so I don't know my full potential.. I am learning... stupid thing." She ran forward and slammed it in the head with the frying pan. "So shut up.. and die already." Yeah if you didn't care what the shadows said they really didn't have much power over you. "Nice to have the two of you fighting with me... trust me, these things aren't that bad if you don't worry about them. They just jabber a lot."

Kari choked as she watched Kimberly and her shadow's interaction, which ended with a frying pan to the face. The exchange was so surprising that she forgot to attack. "T-they do indeed seem to prattle on...," Kari murmured in agreement. Maybe she should get one of those things for a weapon... This was why she was a sun hunter. She loved the knowledge that she could and would fight no matter what the cost. It was a great tension reliever. She took note that the reaper had slowed down, and didn't get a chance to fight, but instead of saying something as some others would, she just started to sing to the song playing on her headphones. This hunter was an interesting one, to be sure. She was singing in the middle of a fight! "Those lyrics make no sense... you're not a man... right?," she queried, having a feeling that the reaper Kimberly was singing about wasn't what she considered a reaper to be. She had a feeling she was over-analyzing again, but there was no sense in taking chances. As the shadow came in to try to take advantage of Kari's lapse, the ghoul punished it with a smack to the face, "Yeah, I can do head shots too!"HP: 16/50 Weapon: Fishing Pole (2d6-2) Camilla Shadow: Dead Camilla Shadow: 16/40 Dmg: 8

Camilla's shadow screeches it's fury before dissipating into nothing! The Dormouse ghoul was glad to see it go, but quickly focuses on the Hunter's Shadow! "Glad to fight with you too!" shr chirps before lunging in to attack the shadow! Unfortunately, because she was attacking wildly with no real rhyme or reason, she was doing terribly! After missing her hit entirely, Camilla staggers back to try and avoid the Frying pan! She wasn't able to get back far enough and she felt the sharp stinging pain from the pan as it cracks against her arm! "A-ack!" she yelps and staggers back while holding her arm! It wasn't broken or anything, It just stung really bad! Kari and Kimberly were starting to look tired themselves... Maybe she should use the kitchen knife... Steal Dang it! If this shadow is still alive by the time I can next post, I'm using the knife! Battle Stats My Hp: 21/40 Camilla's Shadow: Ded! Kimberly's Shadow: 16/40 Damage: 0 Weapon: N/a

"Just something to lighten the mood." If Kimberly looked tired, it was just because she was distracted a bit by sheer amusement. Her stamina was still good, she was having far too much fun to even care right now.

"Ah... I see...," she sighed in relief. Her relief was short-lived when the shadow came in for another attack. "Ah!," she cried, sweeping her rod in front of her as she tumbled backwards. Luckily, she was able to tuck and roll into a shaky crouching position. "That was a bit too close for comfort," Kari noted as she rose to her feet. She couldn't let her guard down now.
