RivenFaerieWings The fourth option for me. I didn't like astrology when I was little because I wanted to be an earth sign and I am a pisces. My best friend and I were into wicca and sailor moon so we started reading about it more when we were in, I think, 6th grade. Ever since then, we've both been very fond of astrology because it just has this crazy habit of being accurate over and over again. Also, most people who criticize astrology think that it is all about newspaper horoscopes and predicting the future. Most of them don't even know their own sun sign, or what a sun sign is. They also think that it's too general and sign descriptions can apply to anyone. I find the opposite is true! When you get into natal charts, everything becomes very specific and complicated. I also think it's a lot of fun. 3nodding It is alot of fun! I like to guess people's signs & then i'll randomly (being the aquarius that I am mrgreen ) ask them their birthdya. I'm usually right too. It's like a game for me. sweatdrop

I was raised with it, my mom's an astrologer. None of my other siblings believe in it though so I guess it's mostly the trial and error thing.

People are always suspicious of why I wanna know their birthdays, though. o_o; Truth is, I remember people's signs before their names or other indentifying traits... I know I'm not the only one here who does that, though.

Sailor Moon was the reason that sparked my interest, after my mother had introduced me to Astrology when I was about 9 years old. It didn't really interest me until I started noticing that everything she taught me made sense and was familiar when I watched the series. That was 8 years ago, and I am dedicating my Life to it, because it makes sense.
I also find it to be one of the few non-judgmental ideas presented in the world. It doesn't condemn you or tell you "You are going to be like this forever." It says, "These are your default, basic conditions. Grow from here. This is what you seem to tend to do, and this is why: .... ; now let's figure out how to help you learn to work around your negative aspects, and encourage and grow with the positive."
I think it's a beautiful science, because it's unoffensive and consistently accurate. There is always human error as well, and I believe in human error and its potential to confuse a lot of things XD But it is what it is, regardless of all those people out there who argue against it...and personally, it took a long time for me to feel this way, but I'm grateful that a lot of them don't get it. If they knew the power in understanding yourself and others, many would try to exploit that. So in their ignorance, I take comfort that I will be able to keep studying in peace, and help those who are awakened enough Inside to trust the Universe, and themselves.

I have always been one to go deeper than just what's below the surface. Astrology has been in my life ever since I was able to read. So I made a quest out of digging deeper into it to satisfy my need to know.
One day after college, a casual meeting with a friend turned into a heated debate where in she claimed astrology didn't apply to her, because it was all wrong *cough cough* (she called the Ego-placebo from magazines astrology).
I asked her why and she started complaining about it, then I asked her for her data... and since I had one of my laptop with me that night... I started unraveling her chart. Which pretty much left her gawking because she got pegged. But some other friends asked me to do their charts and then the next week I got phone calls from all over...
So My Astrology reading service was born. I've been a professional since 1999.
I believe because it holds a lot of truths about Human kind... All the good and bad.

ES Tweedledee This is actually funny but I got interested in it by watching Sailor Moon. But I have always been a star gazer when ever I would be in the car I would just sit and look out the window when all the stars were out. rofl OMG, I was totally obsessed with that show when I was 12-14! Yeah, it's roughly based on Greek/Roman mythology and astrology. And, I also believe astrology because I've seen the proof. My friends and mom think it's mildly interesting, but I'm the only I know who's really into it. As for other people blowing you off like that and not being open minded, you have to keep in mind that this site is used mostly english speaking countries, and I suspect mostly Americans...All of which are dominantly christian. And, not a lot of christians are open to things like astrology which is thrown into the occult pile with witchcraft, satanism, magic, folklore, and superstitions. It's real and it works, but so does the theory of evolution and we have people out right denying it too. Astrology is something most people have to discover for themselves. I wouldn't be too hard on people for blowing it off, they're either very religious and think it's heresy or have only be exposed to the garbage they sell on the impulse isle near the registers.

I got into it because nothing and no one else could explain at all the way astrology did perfectly.

I felt "something" was at work in the background... Ever been told that there is some kind of logical "math" where things go in cycles ?
Why is it that there is a reason, for a Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn ? And in that process - what are we trying to let go of, in order to accept something new in life ?
Why does it take a different pair of eyes - or another opinion to get an objective viewpoint, when otherwise we are blind, in denial of our own vices and faults.
When does someone exactly "takes charge of their own decisions ?"

Hm, I had my ups and downs while young, but I said that I didn't believe in it one time when talking to my step dad... but then I thought 'wait a minute, I better LOOK at it before making any rash thoughts about life...' So I did... I looked at Jonathan Cainers site then instantly got into it... I started then comparing and studying. It worked for me alot... I noticed how accurate it became and if people who don't believe in astrology looked at it a bit more, maybe, just maybe they might start believing... But it takes a good astrologer for you to start believing, Old Moores isn't correct for me since it said I had an aquarius moon while others said Capricorn =P but that maybe because it's meant for another country ^^
Woah I say alot.

Well, I believe in relationships, patterns, and numbers; and astrology includes all three. I believe that everything can be reduced down to numbers, and that the universe is one big equation. Numbers have relationships with each other, and they form patterns from the very simple to the very complex. I believe that astrology is very close to solving this equation.
