Arrakis was actually really, really excited about this event. It was a large social event, something he hadn't been to, yet. Would he meet anyone here? Maybe someone from the class he'd been in before? Maybe! Until then, though, he was determined to have a good time. And the first thing he saw when he reached the outside area was the limbo game. He was in possession of some flexibility, and the branch wasn't that low, really. Should be a piece of cake, right? Rolling his shoulders, he gave the game a shot. ... Well, okay, it was a little more difficult than he'd anticipated, his face coming surprisingly close to the branch, but he cleared the distance below it and that was really all that mattered, right? Kari stepped through the mirror and found herself... behind the gym. She was a bit disappointed that it was a place she could have easily walked around to, but there were games, so that was nice. She thought about the frog game for a second, but she wasn't too taken with kissing one... not yet, at least. She decided the try out the limbo game first. LOOK INTO MY FUTURE, O FAIRY GODMOTHER!
Next up was a tent that was somehow fluttering at the edges despite there being no wind. Peaking past the wavering folds showed a wrinkled old ghoul hiding within. Answering her beckon, Kari cautiously found herself a seat at the table as the 'godmother' took on a look of concentration.
"How would you react if I said... underpants party?"
Kari blinked. Twice. As far as random comments went, that one was pretty high up on the random scale. The ghoul was handed four petals with instructions to get some nice ones. Kari tucked them away along with the odd advice.
Unfortunately, underpants somehow reminded her of a story about some particularly bad eggs she came across one day. Humoring her in an effort to be polite, Kari noticed three petals laying on the table. Figuring it couldn't hurt to pick them up, she placed them with the four she'd already obtained.
After listening to the godmother's story, Kari was once again perplexed at another random question.
"Do you like crabs?"
"They're... ok, I guess," Kari replied, her confusion plain on her face. The godmother gave a small nod and waved her hand in a dismissing gesture. Giving her thanks, Kari stepped out of the tent, her hand in her dress pocket playing with the seven petals she had obtained.

Kari wanted to try out the Rapunzel game next. Taking the tuft of hair from the gnome, she walked over to one of the posters.
She thought she got close, but apparently it wasn't good enough.

Spotting a vacant table near the mirror portal, Kari walked up and looked around before noticing a small sign on the jar: GUESS RUMPELSTILTSKIN'S NEW NAME
WIN A PRIZE! Taking up the pen and a card, Kari looked through the list of names. All of them sounded decent. Deciding on one, she jotted it down on her card and placed it into the jar. Hopefully she had made the correct guess. TiH Student Council RUMPELSTILTSKIN! I choose: 50. austin

As she walked away from the lone jar on the table, Kari noticed a small figure in a trench coat just behind the frog kissing table. Sneaking up behind the figure, Kari tapped it on the shoulder, producing a jump as the individual spun in place. It looked to be a gnome. Was this gnome supposed to be here? "Who are you, and why are you acting so sneaky?," Kari questioned. In response, the gnome beckoned her closer. Crouching down, the gnome looked around shiftily before opening his coat a bit to reveal... minipets! "Three petals each. No haggling. No questions."Reaching her hand into her pocket, she pulled out six of her seven petals. "Are you referring to these?," the ghoul asked, holding out the handful of petals. The gnome's eyes lit up, and he snatched them out of her hand greedily. Reaching into his coat, he pulled out two minipets, shoving them into her hands before wrapping his coat tighter around himself and bustling off while giving shifty glances to his surroundings. Kari stood and examined the minis she'd just bought. Had she just participated in an illegal activity? Well, at least the minis seemed happy to be outside the coat. Turning her attention from the suspicious gnome, Kari instead looked towards the frogs sitting on the pillows. Picking the blue one up, she tried not to let the stares of the gnome manning the booth bother her. Bringing the frog towards her face, she placed a chaste kiss upon it. It wriggled in her grip and jumped onto her shoulder. Perhaps it liked her? It didn't seem displeased with her kiss. TiH Student Council PUCKER UP! I won: Ribbit Royalty minipet

Aureole was over joyed to find out that there were events to this Prom! The parties she had attended with her father didn't have any games or anything of the sort!
The excited ruffling of her wings and light swish of her tail were tell-tale signs of her joy as she walked through the mirror to find herself face to face with so many things to do!
She strolled past a few booths, thinking of coming back to them later but she noticed a few, rather odd, posters that were named 'Rapunzel'. She had heard bits and pieces of the story. A girl with really long hair stuck in a tower and such. But that aside, this looked like fun!
Amber eyes blinked down at the clump of hair she had been handed to by the gnome before looking up at the poster. Oooohhhh. This was going to be interesting~
After closing her eyes and trying her best to pin it, it seemed she had been, gravely off sight. So much that she manged to give the poster itself a little tail-tuff of hair from being so far off.
Aureole couldn't help herself and giggled at the sight. "At least I tried."

The next booth to catch her sight... Didn't even look like a booth. It was a large tent! Very ominous! Aureole couldn't help herself as she entered the tent with a light pull of the tent folds. The elder ghoul beckoned her to sit and sit she did, waiting anxiously for what she was to be told.
"If you promise that you'll go out and buy the fanciest dress two petals can buy, I will give them to you."
Aureole blinks a few times, looking down at herself before looking up. She thought her dress looked fine but maybe she was predicting another event! When she would need another dress!
With a frantic nod, she agreed. It seemed to please the other ghoul. But she wasn't completely done, it seemed.
"The next student you dream of shall be your lifetime companion. Apologies."
The Peryton froze at the 'fortune' she had been told and couldn't help how big her smile at had gotten. Companion!? That did sound exciting! And she would have someone to help her without her needing to pull any looks or nothing!
"It's not worth it to get stranded at a sleepover. Take some money to call your mom."
The last one though... Aureole thought that it was time to take her leave ad check more of the Prom booths out. She gently waved to the old ghoul before exciting the tent with her petals.

The Peryton wasn't entire sure she could do this. It had looked intriguing at first but then she remember just how tall she was. Didn't help that her father was nearly twice her height but what was she to do?
Can't really sand-down hooves to make you shorter. She'd tried that and it was harder than it looked.
But it was worth a shot. While holding her dress down a bit, she bent her body to try and clear the bar.
And, of course, she had been too tall. Her forehead bumped the bar and she knew she hadn't made it. Oh well, she could try again later.

This was a strange sight. All the other booths had been manned, at least all the ones she had seen so far. But this one just had a little sign on the jar that sat on the table. "Guess Rumpelstiltskin's new name, huh?" If Aureole would have been a person with that name... She looked through the names and found one that sounded much, much better than his current name before scribbling it down on an index card. She hoped this 'Rumpelstiltskin' would like it. How could she have missed this booth? But she was looking at it now so... Hmm. She wasn't exactly in a hurry to give a random and, possibly, foreign frog. It this was some sort of elaborate trick... It was a good one!
Aureole blinked once before picking up a vibrant blue-shaded frog. She arched a brow, signature move of her father, before giving the frog a very quick peck on the head.

The frog squeaked and quickly hopped off of Aureole's hand, but it didn't land back on its pillow. Instead, it fell out of sight into the grass. Everything was quiet for a long moment, then there was a whoosh and a grotesque amount of sparkling, and when the glitter cleared, a person stood in front of the ghoul.
"How's it going?" he said with a bright smile. "I'm Arnold."Quote: Congratulations! You have turned ARNOLD into a prince!
He is yours now to do with as you wish! You may play him as a character during prom only (when the night is over he turns back into a frog and hops back to his own life) or you may ignore him completely!

To say that Aureole was surprised was an understatement. This frog had actually become a boil! A BOIL! This was amazing! Aureole closed her hanging mouth before beaming at the other. "Nice to meet yah! I'm Aureole." She made an effort to give a nice curtsy.
The smile he flashed at her nearly blinded her before she blinked away the light having reflected off his pearly whites. "Good to meet you! Thanks for that, by the way." Arnold straightened out his outfit a bit before examining himself, his eyes flicking to his necklace to ensure it was still hanging around his neck. "Your dressed up for something and I see a ton of decorations about."
"Oh! Prom is going on! Dancing, food... This stuff!" She opened her arms with a twirl, her body facing the many booths.
Aureole seemed to have said the right word.
"Dancing? What are we waiting around here for then?" Aureole wasn't given much of a chance to respond as he grabbed one of her wrists and was leading them around the building rather than going the way Aureole had arrived at the booths. Well, they were going to inside, she supposed.

[ Enter! ]"Weeee!" Astra let go of her boilfriend and flew on ahead, her small form darting about the lanterns as she danced and weaved to the off tune music before stopping where the lanterns had congregated around one of the games. Yup, this was the one she was going to play first! The one...that had her kissing a frog. What.The fae looked puzzled at the two frogs sitting comfortable on the velvet cushions, glancing at the gnome who was staring intently. Then looked back at the frogs with a grimace. She wasn't sure about this...why did she have to kiss a frog?! But still...she might get a prize for doing it...so... Making a noise of disapproval, Astra leaned towards the boy frog, eyes closing and face slightly puffed as her lips connected with the frogs. It was quick and chaste, but when she pulled back she was startled by the frog squeaking and jumping into the table cloth. And then watches as it began to grow bigger "Ah...umm..." TiH Student Council PUCKER UP! I won: a froggy date!
