Kaalnia felt oddly calm, and perhaps a little numb, but her body responded to her needs and she dodged the man's attack, the blades piercing air as her spear seared into his flesh. She smiled - it was just as she needed it to be. She could win.
She felt light, almost serene, and the world around her became softened and dreamlike, and everything fell into place. Everything made sense.

Kaalnia made to dodge again, feeling almost pleasantly numb and oddly comfortable, she smirked, languidly, at the mans face. It was no longer terrifying, but amusingly contorted, like a puppet or a mask. She even managed a laugh, before she felt - as if in a dream - the blades slice into her. She felt herself fall, but it didn't really feel like her falling. The ground felt incredibly comfortable and welcoming, and she slipped into unconciousness with a sigh of relief...
