"Heh, thanks." Sebastian replied to the congratulations. He shifted a moment, considering a moment. "Sort of, yes." He replied, looking down at Gin once more as he thought about the situation. "She evolved like Rummy did, with a stone that I’d bought earlier." He replied. That seemed to be a common occurrence for his pokemon; evolving through some kind of random means. Usually with rocks. He should probably consider keeping them away from weird rocks from now on.
At the mention of it sounding comfy, he gave a little smile, shifting her in his arms to hold her out a bit. "She is actually. Do you want to feel? I mean, it is seriously a lot of fluff now." He tilted his head a bit. "Ah… a little bit. I think half her height is in her fluff now." She seemed a little bigger now having a sort of actual body, and just a bit heavier but not by much. At least not in his mind. He shifted her around to hold her out and take a look, giving a little measure to her weight. Mmm… no. Heavier but not terribly so.
He peaked up curiously as Jay gave his answer, glancing at Jesse and looking thoughtful. That made sense in his mind. He certainly couldn’t imagine going from being on the ground to flying. Actually this seemed a bit similar to a conversation the pair had had earlier… Jay’s position actually made even more sense when he thought about it. "Hm… I see..." He fell quiet a moment though, a little frown crossing his face as he glanced back at a wiggling Gin. "Ah, well…" He sort of wished this was a similar situation. "You see, it’s just that, when Gin evolved, she kind of gained… limbs??" He had to pause again to consider how to word his concerns. "When she was a Cottonee she was just a sort of floating puff ball with some green leaves. And when she evolved she changed and got kind of humanoid." His face shifted a bit in a mix of confusion and concern. "And uh… I don’t think she really knows how to use them is all… and I don’t think floating is an option anymore." It was one thing to go losing parts, but what exactly did you do when you gained them?

Jacque quirked an eyebrow. With a stone? Really? He smiled in a bit of amusement. "She didn' also try'n eat the stone, did she?" he asked. Boy, that would be... sad if it were the case. He wouldn't be surprised, though, if it had happened on accident. It sort of sounded like it did. And Sebastian seemed to sort of... fluke into these kinds of things. The two of them sure did have some weird luck... his apparent accident-magnet powers, Sebastian's flukery. Maybe trying out contests would be more interesting than he thought. Hopefully not painful, though.
He gave a little laugh when Sebastian offered his pokemon, a modest sort of smile crossing his face. "Heh, nah... thanks though," he replied, rubbing the back of his neck, "I'll just take yer word fer it." The smile did a good job at covering the embarrassed discomfort that originally started to bubble up behind it. Curious as he might have been, he didn't want to reach out and... miss. He didn't really like reaching for things. He could echolocate to get the impression of objects and locations and where things were, in general, but that didn't mean he was always that accurate. And... Well, it wasn't like he could see the awkwardness on anyone else's face or anything, but sometimes he got this feel of discomfort from people sometimes, not to mention his own frustration, whenever he acted... well, blind. Whenever he missed or misjudged something or fell or ran into something he couldn't 'hear'. Maybe it was the lingering effect of the city, but even with Gin's newfound size, he was a bit skittish. Apparently.
Zoey gave a curious squeak at him and he reached a hand up to quiet her. Scy seemed to pick up on his trainer's -- very subtle -- discomfort as well, but didn't react. "Sounds... soft. 'N light," Jay continued with amusement, "Don' s'pose she's too hard ta carry, then, at least." Lowering his hand from Zoey, he placed it in his pocket, continuing to walk with his other on his scizor while they neared the city, listening to Sebastian's response. His eyebrows rose a bit when he explained the motive to his question. "Yew tried doin' like with babies?" he asked, then held a hand out to try and demonstrate, holding it low, but out straight, his fingers grasped like he was gently holding something. "Y'know, holdin' her hands, 'r fluff 'r somethin', 'n lettin' her li'l legs just sorta touch the ground fer her ta get the hang've cwordinatin' 'em?" He dropped his hand back to his side. Sebastian couldn’t help but redden a bit at the reminder of Rummy and his stone eating debacle, a hand raising to rub slightly behind his ear. Ah yes, that situation had totally been a thing hadn’t it? An embarrassing thing. He gave a scoff though, shaking his head as a bit of a smile appeared. "No, no luckily she didn’t."
He raised an eyebrow, watching Jay curiously a moment as he rejected the offer. "You sure?" Sebastian usually wasn’t one to press a point but this was something that could actually be shared with Jay without much issue. Sure it was a little strange to be trying to share the fluffiness of a pokemon but, it wasn’t that big a deal right? Gin certainly didn’t seem to mind, still wiggling wildly about at the mentions of herself. He turned and held her up stepping closer beside Jay, nudging him a bit with the elbow of his arm before sort of offering the fluff part of Gin up right next to him. It would be hard for him to miss with them practically right next to them after all.
Sebastian tilted his head curiously. "Babies? Hm…," He glanced at Gin curiously, who gave him a curious look of her own. Like with babies? Would that work? Staring a moment in consideration, he glanced off to the side a bit. "I guess… that’s… a lot of time and work though." Losing your mobility was kind of an issue and from what’d he’d seen, Gin didn’t have the stability to stay on her feet. He couldn’t really imagine having to hold her up during battles… that… would be problematic. Maybe she’d learn quickly? His brother hadn’t… taken to long… of course he’d been born with legs. Did the same apply with just evolving and gaining them? He wasn’t too sure on that part.

Jay smiled, giving a bit of a nod. "Good," he remarked, "That woulda been a tad bit concernin'." And awkward. Jay might have to start questioning Sebastian as a trainer if all of his pokemon were continually trying to eat rocks, and then somehow resulting in them evolving. Just about... all of that was pretty questionable.
He turned his head a bit when Sebastian questioned his certainty on wanting to feel the fluff that was Gin. He gave another little smile, this one betraying a bit more of the embarrassment, and lifted another hand to decline. And he was about to, too, when he felt something nudging up against him. Something soft. Was that Gin? He paused a moment. "U-uh... A... alright," he agreed after a moment, lowering his arm a but, and then shifting to place his hand on her fluff. His expression relaxed, and a peaceable smile crossed over his face. She was soft... Really soft. "H-eh... Yer right. She is pretty fluffy," he remarked, moving his hand, turn it, to feel the cotton against the back of his hand, and then withdrawing it. "'N yew said she's even more that then she wus 'fore?" he continued, dropping his hand back to his side, noticeably more relaxed. Maybe Sebastian shouldn't bother teaching her to walk-- that must be pretty cozy to carry all the time.
He placed his hand in his pocket as Sebastian seemed to muse over his suggestion, then smiled a bit when he commented on the effort. "Think yer thinkin' bout it too much. I jus' meant now'n then, let 'er practice. So she can start gettin' the feel fer what happens when she does what," he explained, giving a bit of a shrug, "Jus' let 'er feel the ground under 'er 'n such." He bowed his head, listening as they seemed to approach the city. At least they were getting close. Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to find the shipyard. Sebastian watched Jay curiously as he seemed ready to wave off the offer again, perking up with a smile though when in fact the cowboy actually took up the offer. He noticed the bit of embarrassment that seemed to hint through his smile, curiosity crossing his face. There was certainly nothing to be embarrassed about in this situation; after all how often was it that you had a really fluffy pokemon? It was certainly new to him and well worth sharing with his companion. After all, Jay was the one who’d traded him the Cottonee in the first place.
"Right? Isn’t she?" He grinned. Gin wiggled happily, craning her head a bit to look at Jay, arms giving a little wave as a smile crossed her face. Why yes! She was very fluffy! It was good of his to notice. Sebastian pulled her away and tucked her back in his arms, smile still on his face. It was a bit of surprise to see Jay relax, though nice all the same. "Yup! She was! Just a little ball of fluff. I didn’t even realize she had an evolution beyond that." He remarked with a bit of a grin in his voice. "I'm actually pretty grateful you traded her to me."
"Oh really?" He remarked, an eyebrow raising as he eyed his companion a moment. Thinking too much about it? Really? Really? Hm… maybe he was. But something about that statement struck him as the tiniest bit ironic. As the scent of the sea started wafting in the air, he became a bit distracted, glancing up and noting that they were almost at the city. It struck him a bit odd to have a train station so close to a city next to a massive body water.
"I suppose you’ve got a point. Let her get her ‘sea legs’ and what not?" He cracked with a bit of a chuckle, quirking an eyebrow at Jay. He’d have to find a chance once in a while to let her do some walking though; it was a good suggestion. If she didn’t figure it out in a reasonable fashion, then he’d have to figure something out. It was just one more thing to deal with in the grand scheme of things, wasn’t it? And he still needed to figure out so much…

Jay smiled. He thought about commenting that it sort of sounded like Sebastian might benefit from learning more about his pokemon, but... he didn't want to spoil the moment. He'd mention that at another time. Instead he just bowed his head a bit, eyes closed as he continued walking. "Well, I'm jus' glad she's got a trainer who 'preciates 'er," he replied lightly, "Need ta find some've them other pok'mon good homes, too..." He had to refrain from letting a wary expression cross his face. When he thought about how many pokemon he had... it was a little overwhelming. He was already carrying so many with him, and yet he had even more in his PC, not eve including the ones he had trained some. He couldn't help the slight sigh, but he quickly hid it by focusing instead on the next subject.
"Mm, 'zactly," he confirmed, though this time he didn't quite hide his reaction to 'sea legs'. A frown crossed his face and his normally slightly tanned skin paled a bit. Sebastian kept the smile across his face, giving another little glance and jostle to Gin as they walked. That was certainly a fact. He had to quirk his head a bit though, still watching Jay a moment. "I’m sure you’ll find some trainers for them in no time." He remarked with a bit of a reassuring tone. He wasn’t really sure how many so called pokemon Jay needed to find homes but he was sure there would be someone folk out there who’d take care of them.
Sebastian was quiet a moment, watching the reaction to his little joke. Well that was certainly not what he was expecting to be honest. He straightened up a bit, smile fading a bit as he glanced around. He thought he might’ve seen the equivalent of a pier and some boats, though that was only a bit of a guess. A little more walking and a bit of moving ahead and he located what was probably the shipyard.
"… You okay there?" Sebastian asked, noticing the change in demeanor. Was Jay not a fan of boats? The little joke hadn’t quite gotten the response he’d expected and the delay in his speech was a bit of a giveaway. He paused a moment, taking a look around the city briefly as he tried to get his own directions situated. "I think I do, it’s only a little ways off. Did you want to head there right away?" He inquired, glancing back at Jay and his pokemon.

He shook his head, a more amused look on his face. "Anyway, yer right, I'm sure. Prolly jus' a matter've time." He could probably do with looking around more, too. He gave a smile, gesturing off handedly in Sebastian's general direction. "'N, y'know, if yew ever want more..." He gave a grin, then dropped his hand back down, listening to their surroundings again.
He gave a turn of his head and a dismissive wave at Sebastian's question. "Fine. Jus' don' like boats much. S'like bein' 'n an earthquake that lasts fer hours..." he replied dryly. All he could hear was the crash of the waves, feel the cold air and harsh winds, the screech of sea pokemon... Honestly, when he was a kid, he'd been scared of it, what few times his family went on boats. When he got older, he just... didn't really like it much. The same held true now. He nodded when Sebastian asked if he wanted to go now, though. "Best to move on 'n get it over with," he admitted. He'd deal with it. He'd just... probably find a corner and... curl up or something. Take roots and stay low. Maybe if the sea was calm enough he would be able to enjoy it more. But mostly, he'd be looking forward to reaching land.

A lot of them? Sebastian frowned. There wasn’t much he could say on that; he thought he had a quite a few himself. But he was fairly certain Jay probably had more. At the mention of wanting more though he gave a bit of a chuckle shaking his head. "Ah, I appreciate the offer but I think I’ll pass for now." Which reminded him, he still had a particular catch to deal with at some point in time. It was probably… best to do that as soon as possible before something terrible happened.
"Ah… I see." He remarked at Jay’s response, still eyeing him curiously. He felt just a bit that his companion was understating this fact but didn’t press much further. He knew well that particular dislike after all when it came to heights. Though, at least he had the advantage of not being able to describe it like an earthquake. Once he was oriented Sebastian gave a gesture to Scy and Jay, heading for the ship yard.
"Alright then, let’s get there quick." And with that he sort of picked up his pace, keeping a tight grip on Gin as the wind seemed to pick up as they approached closer to the ocean. Hopefully it’d be a quick trip for Jay’s sake.

Finding the port wasn't to hard a task. Eon only had to follow the beach to find the port. Though, what she didn't find was a ship setting sail for Kanto. Even those going to Johto refused to let her on board.. since they weren't actually allowed passengers. One asked if she wanted a job, but that one was heading for Unova. She was keen on following Mr. Briney's directions, so she declined the offer. Crestfallen, she returned to the city to ask around for anyone with a boat or ship that could take her to Kanto, preferably free, since she wasn't really rolling in dough.
Coming past a fairly large building, Eon stopped. Her eyes were locked in on the structure, which to her looked like it revolved around marine biology. But even more so where the various pictures and posters hanging on the walls. She felt a odd pain in her temple, it struck so suddenly she winced and voiced her pain with an audible moan. Holding up her hand, she found Saga gripping her side to keep the amnesiac upright. Where had this sudden headache come from? Was it this place? Did she recognize it maybe? She had the faint inclination that she did know something about this place. Luffy floated into view, resting a paw on top of Eon's head. 'Let's go inside.' He spoke, motioning with his free paw towards the door. "I don't have any money, Luffy." Eon stated. Her eyes rose to the building. There were no signs saying one had to pay... was she just guessing or did she know it cost money to enter? Whatever the case her eyes noticed a poster, telling passerby that today was a free ticket day. "Free..." She muttered. 'Yea! So let's go, I want to see whats inside.' He stated enthusiastically. Eon nodded. Maybe she might remember something if she went inside?
Getting closer, Eon noticed the title of the building they were entering into. "Slateport Marine Research Museum." She spoke the title, slowly coming to realize something. "Wait! I do know this place!" She went for her bag. "Or, at least the girl they say is me does." Dropping her bag she fell to a knee and began digging through it. Finally, she pulled free the journal. Flipping through it like a mad woman she found what she was looking for. "My father and mother currently live in Slateport... and they work at this museum!" If anyone could remember who she was, her parents could!
Bursting open the door, Eon started for the innards of the Museum, but was quickly caught by a male in a tightly fit uniform. "Excuse me miss." He spoke, his hand reached around Eon, but the amnesiac stepped away. The male stepped in her path once more, holding out a hand this time in a 'stop' manner. "Sorry, but do you need something from me? I don't need to pay do I? It says it's free ticket day, and I have someone to meet." Eon spoke up, her words partially true. "No, you don't need to pay." He began, clearing his throat. "It's just. You're our One-hundredth visitor today. For being number one-hundred you get to come with me to get a special prize." His smile was suggesting something different though. Luffy felt it, Eon sort of felt it. The feline clutched onto Eon's shoulder firmly. 'I don't like his look.' Eon gave a mental nod. "Sorry, but I don't care. I'm just looking for a man and woman." They man stepped in closer, Eon tried to step back, but she found herself against the counter. No clerk behind it anymore. "Your mother and father? Evangeline." Eon's eyes widened some. He knew her? The same pain from before struck her harder this time, a blurry image of a man crossed her vision. Luffy audibly growled, clutching harder to Eon's shoulder. When Eon finally managed to look up, she found a man and a woman standing side-by-side, both in the same uniform the male had on. The father had striking green hair, while her mother a soft brown. Eon recognized the woman... like she was looking into a mirror, save for the hair they were the spitting image... this was her mother.

Their otherwise happy reunion was cut by two things. Eon's lack of a memory, and a male she didn't recognize standing behind her mother and father, sticking something in their back. A weapon? To Eon's side, standing beside Saga, the Zorua in disguise watched the event unfold with crossed arms. He seemed uninterested in what was going on really. Saga on the other hand was itching to lunge forward and attack the man and his cohort. "What do you want really?" Eon asked. "I was told I'd be left alone so long as I continued to search for those fossils." Eon's mother tried to step forward, but she jumped as soon as she went to move, quickly forcing her to fall back into place. "Collect fossils? You misunderstand, we don't care about fossils, we care only about money." The male stepped forward, finding his path blocked by Saga. The man held up a hand, cracking his knuckles. "And we heard from a little birdie that you're going to lead us to it. Little Evangeline." Eon quirked a brow. "Well your little birdie is an idiot, 'cause I don't have any money." She replied sharply. Did they honestly think they were talking to Evangeline? Did they not know about her memory loss? Then.. they weren't apart of those goons from Rustboro were they? "Really? No money? Well, how about we just leave with a few of your mother's fingers? Or maybe your dad's p--" He was suddenly cut off by a flash of darkness. The Zorua boy had moved and now stood about two inches from a doubling over man, a shadow-like substance in each of his paws, one in his teeth, they looked... sword-like. All three blades vanished before the fox-boy turned around with a scowl. "I absolutely hate pirates." He growled. The male that was behind Eon's parents fell as well, seemingly knocked out at the same time the other man had been... Eon's eyes blinked several times. She had only seen a quick flash, but this Zorua had managed to knock both those guys out that quickly? And what was that attack he used? Night daze? No, he was to young wasn't he? Did he.. just know how to manifest his dark-type powers into something physical? Astonishing to say the least.
Luffy himself was absolutely flabbergasted. The feline flew forward with his own astonishing speed to fall upon the Zorua's sholder. 'You're so cool!' Luffy shouted. 'You've got to join my crew!' The Zorua narrowed his eyes, turning with a hand raised, that same shadowy sword in hand. "Didn't you hear me? I said I hated pirates." Luffy's grin only widened. 'Come on you've got to join! It'll be so fun! You're so cool too!' The Zorua snarled in response. Luckily, Eon's reunion with her mother and father brought the rising conflict to and end.
"Eva!" The woman called, rushing to her daughter. She practically tackled Eon in a hug, pulling her in so tightly she couldn't breath. "We've been so worried! We'd heard there was a terrible storm on that island, and they'd lost contact with your grandfather." The woman was sobbing so much, much of that wasn't even understandable. Thankfully Eon's father seemed more together. "It's good to see you're safe, Evan, but... Where have you been?" The real question at hand. Managing to tug herself free from her mother's iron grip, Eon brushed down her skirt. "I'm sorry, but... I have some bad news." She couldn't help but glance away. "I... lost my memory. I don't know who I am, or where I'm from..." Eon's parents both grew wide-eyed, even the Zorua did... he hadn't been told either. "Lost... your memories? But... how?" Eon's mother was more understandable now. The amnesiac shrugged her shoulders. "I woke up in Pacifilog town, and the people there said I was falling from the sky. Maybe the shock scared the memories from me? Whatever the case, I felt I would figure something out if maybe I came in here... this journal mentions you two in it... my- Evangeline's parents." Eon was finding it hard to keep eye contact with this two people... she felt... wrong, like she didn't belong. "Oh, Eva." The woman once more hugged her. "Shouldn't we take you to a hosp---" Eon's father's words were suddenly cut off by the sound of groaning. The men from earlier were recovering, one held what looked like a walkie-talkie in one hand. "We need reinforcements... the brat says she lost her memory." He stated into the device. It responded with static before someone elses voice picked up. 'Kill 'em. The boss is going to take the king guy's offer.' King guy? Eon's eyes widened, quickly they narrowed into anger... King guy! The man from Rustboro?! She'd like to see them try laying a finger on anyone in this room, even themselves! The man hung up, lowering the transmitting device with a grin. "You heard it right. Today's your lucky day... time to die."

Pushing past Eon's dazed father, the other goon joined his cohort at his side. They both then held up a Pokeball, as if they were going to initiate a battle... Eon's mother and father both looked worried... neither of them had Pokemon. But Eon did, obviously. Stepping around her mother, Eon gave the woman a reassuring nod as she tried to stop her. "I've got this." She stated with a grin. "I've got two badges and a whole team." Now wasn't the time to be bragging, but it helped. Her smiled approvingly, nodding for her to continue. "Two badges? Oh, I'm sooo scared." One of the men teased, waving his hands in the air. "Come out Cacturne!" He called. From the ball, the green-cactus Pokemon appeared. Eon instantly froze.... Her head pulsed in pain, and like before she felt her vision fade. What the hell was going on? Luffy floated over resting his body over Eon's head. His plan seemed to work, using his ESP to lessen Eon's pain in her head. 'Hang in there, Eon.' Luffy spoke, mentally sending a surge of energy into Eon's body. The pain in her head subsided for now, she regained herself, and motioned Saga forward. The other male then released his own Pokemon, a Foongus... this was going to be a double battle wasn't it? Fine. Grabbing Louhi's ball, the amnesiac tossed it forward, summoning the Kadabra from within. It didn't take long before Louhi assessed the situation. It was a fight.

Watching Saga fall to a knee, Eon froze. She hadn't expected Saga to fall at all, but with Luffy at her side, she recovered enough to send out another Pokemon to take her starter's place. Sylph was that Pokemon... she hadn't even realized what Pokemon she was sending forward, until she appeared. Luckily, Louhi finished off the other male's Pokemon before anything could be done to the Anorith. "Tck, We lost." One male stated, returning his fallen Pokemon, the other simply nodded in agreement. "Don't think this'll be the end of things!" The male continued, grabbing his companion he aided the man in their escape. Eon wanted to run after them, but when she saw Saga slowly getting back to her feet, she decided against pursuing those men. Unable to fight for the time being, Eon decided to return Saga to her ball so she could rest. "Thank you, Saga..." Eon thanked the gecko before returning her to her ball.
Turning back to face her parents, Eon spotted the Zorua from earlier, gazing away, his arms folded. He honestly looked like a small child with that scowl. Crossing the floor to him, she rested a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you." She spoke. "Thank you for helping." He glanced over towards Eon with a frown, looking away quickly. "I told you, I hate Pirates... I didn't do it for you." He replied. "Even still, I feel I should thank you. That technique though... Where did you learn that? I've never seen an attack like that before." Eon inquired. The Zorua boy turned away, pulling his shoulder from Eon's grip. "It's not a move." He replied. It didn't look like he felt like explaining... Did it have to do with his hatred for pirates? Eon signed, looking back towards her mother and father... Two faces she felt she should recognize... two faces she didn't want to see with such sad expressions on them.
Facing her mother and father once more. Eon bowed deeply before looking back up at them. "I've cause enough trouble, so I'll go before they decide to return with more reinforcements." The woman stepped forward, only to be held back up her husband.... he'd been silent pretty much this entire time. Was he... just not accepting Eon's memory loss? She couldn't blame him.. she'd feel rather, uncertain herself about how to deal with a loved one forgetting them. She had to guess her personality was different as well... With another bow, Eon made for the front door, only to notice through the glass several men approaching. "Eva--- Eon, Escape through the back." The male finally spoke as he rushed for the door. Grabbing some keys from a chain on his belt he began working on locking the door. She only hesitated for a moment before she felt Louhi tug at her. Glancing down to the psychic he motioned towards a plain steel gray door, likely leading to a back exit... like a fire escape. Eon's mother was already waiting nearby, holding it open for her. Running across the Museum floor, Eon paused for only a moment to leave the woman who was supposedly her mother with a reassuring nod... even if Eon was the one who needed the reassurance.
