"Well!" Professor Oak laughed warmly, "I'm glad you've heard good things!" He smiled, nodding gatefully at her understanding, and lacing his hands together behind his back. "Ahh, a Charmander, is it?" he said, shifting to take a step back, "I think we still have a few more of those!" He unlaced his fingers and walked over, looking through the pokemon he had, and then picking up a tray. He placed a pokeball, a pokedex, and some potions and spare pokeballs on it, walking over and presenting the tray to the young trainer. "Here you go, Miss Valentine!" he offered.

Silica's face practically lit up the moment Professor Oak had came out with the charmander that she had requested for. He also had some pokeballs, pokedex, and some potions that he was handing to her on a tray. She looked at the Charmander, so happy that there were still Charmanders left and she was really super excited to go out out there and train him along with the rest of her pokemon. He was just sooo cute!! She picked up the ball that was meant for him, returning him to his ball. She put the ball to her face, speaking to it. "I love you, Charmander. Were gonna be great friends." She proceeded to than remove all the other stuff off the tray and place it in her bag, zipping it up after it was all comfortably in. "Thank you so much Professor Oak, it was great meeting you! Bye bye." With everything said, and she had received everything she needed and was prepared for travel, she exited the building to start her journey, totally excited for the long fun road ahead, as she skipped along into the distance.

"Understood." Seven quietly ended his call after reaching Professor Oak's lab. His assignment had officially begun now that he'd arrived in Kanto, but Seven was in a bit of a pickle. His original team was benched for the time being; in their place, Interpol assigned Seven two new members. A Solosis named Rounder, and a Yanma named Bigs. They were to be his translator and scout, respectively... The problem was that they were both woefully unprepared for combat. Seven preferred to avoid speaking with Professors or anyone who might recognize him as an Interpol agent, but getting a starter pokemon was a golden opportunity to bolster his forces a little. Stepping inside the lab, Seven took a look around. He noticed a little girl on her way out... Sheesh, some people really started young! Seven felt a little out of place in comparison. At any rate, though, he'd already made it this far in. It was time to speak with Professor Oak.
Now... What would his angle be?
A peppy trainer, or a depressed loner? Or maybe a cross-eyed weirdo with a lisp? Perhaps a hot-blooded delinquent? Gazing across the room, Seven covered his mouth and yawned before approaching the Professor. "Eyaaaaah... Morning, Professor..." Seven flashed the man a tiny smile, his eyelids looking quite heavy. "Or at least, I think it's morning... It's morning somewhere, probably." Raising up a finger in realization, Seven nodded to Professor Oak. "Ahh, that's right. I almost forgot why I came. Excuse me, Professor Oak... My name's Seven Ossio. I was wondering if you happened to have any Squirtles available for new trainers?" Seven twiddled his thumbs... He didn't care much for grass or fire types. Squirtles were so cute, too! "I understand if you don't have any, or if you're saving them for a Squirtle Army, or something." It was then that Seven's glasses started drooping, to which the young man responded by pushing them back up lazily before grinning to Professor Oak.

Professor Oak watched the girl leave with a happy smile. Another trainer, set with their starter pokemon, ready for an adventure. It was a happy sight indeed. He blinked, though, as another young trainer entered, looking at him curiously as he approached. "Good morning," he greeted back, offering a smile, still looking quizzical, as if trying to remember something.
"Oh! Squirtles you say? That's not one we've had many ask for! Sure, I'd be happy to provide you a squirtle for your journey," he replied, chuckling a bit. A squirtle army... Well, he did have quite a lot! He walked over, gathering a trey and placing the pokeball on top, as well as a few potions, some pokeballs, and a pokedex. "You you are... Seven, did you say? I hope you'll have fun with your new companion," he said, walking over and handing the items over to the young man.

Seven snickered in response to Oak's statement. That was great news! "Really? Phew, I'm glad..." Of course, if Squirtle hadn't been a popular choice as of late, Seven wondered how many Charmanders and Bulbasaurs he'd be coming across. Had there been a lot of new trainers recently? Hopefully so; Seven wanted to scout out as much talent as he could. When the Professor returned with a Squirtle and some beginner supplies, Seven accepted it all graciously. "Yes sir, Seven. Like seven plates at a table, or um, seven Psyducks in a row." He thought hard, pressing a finger to his lips. "No, wait... That doesn't sound cool at all. Seven pairs of underwear...?" Nothing was coming to mind. He wanted some sort of flashy way for people to remember his name, but underwear and Psyducks were far from what one might call 'cool'.
"T-thank you, Professor." Smiling then, Seven adjusted his glasses and turned once everything was in his bag. His team was growing slowly... The sooner they could head out to train, the better he'd feel. Seven shuffled his way towards the exit, happy that everything had gone decently-smooth as he'd planned. "Ahh, my glasses are fogging up... Dang it...!" Quite suddenly, all of that went down the drain. Seven's glasses fell from his hands as he was rubbing their lenses, dropping to the floor. The best part about being legally-blind was scrambling around on the floor in search of his glasses whenever they slipped away. And he'd been doing a decent job until then, too!

Oak chuckled a bit at the young man's fumbling attempts to create a way to introduce himself. "Oh, I see!" he remarked, amused. He gave a nod, retracting his hands with the trey as the boy collected the things he had offered. He blinked a bit when Seven suddenly fumbled with his glasses, dropping them and falling to the ground to try and search for them. "Oh my! Are you alright?" he asked, stepping over, carefully picking up the glasses, and then placing a hand on his shoulder, and offering the glasses. "Here you are," he offered warmly.
Ugh, how embarrassing! Even undercover, being so clumsy was unexcusable. "I-I'm alright." Seven heard the Professor's voice draw closer, and then felt a hand on his shoulder. At least the Professor was helpful about it... As one might expect from a reputable man like Oak. Smiling, Seven looked up and saw his glasses. "Ah! Thanks, Professor." Even as blurry as his vision was, Seven was still able to retrieve his specs and stand up again. There didn't seem to be any damage done to the lenses, or anything like that... Things weren't so bad after all. "Well, I'll be going for real this time. Take care, Professor." Offering Oak a weary wave goodbye, the young man nodded and turned to leave. He had a lot of work to do and a lot of new potential to scout out!

I poke my head into the lab, gazing around slightly as I push my bangs behind my ears. "Hellooooo~. Anybody in? Professor Oak?" I call out, not wanting to intrude in his business if he was doing something, and so staying in the doorway. My black sweater hung on my arms, and I pushed up my glasses. The only parts of me in view.
The Professor looked up from his desk, but gave a smile at the girl peaking in from the doorway. "Hello there," he greeted, standing up and gesturing, "Please, come in!"

I nod slightly, pushing myself through the door in all me glory. "Hello Professor! How have you been?" I ask, shuffling in and brushing some dust off my clothes absentmindedly. I could feel a sneeze coming on due to my itchy nose, and I started to hold it in, but failed. Letting out a small "achoooey" like sneeze. High pitched and probably adorable. I rub my nose a little.
Professor Oak stood and walked over, placing his hands behind his back as he approached. "Hello there! I've been quite well, thank you," he replied, a little surprised at the young girl's manners. "Are you excited to start your journey?" he asked curiously. He chuckled a bit as she sneezed, giving a slight nod, and a polite, "Gesundheit." He straightened up, then, giving a warm and inviting smile. "Now then, do you know which pokemon you'd like to start your journey with?"

I look up at him lightly, since I am a teenager, and smile. "Yes, I'm very excited!" I say, scratching the edge of my nose. "Thank you. Uhm... I was wondering if..." I poke my index fingers together nervously. "If I could see all three of them..." I ask, my voice quivering slightly from being shy.
The Professor smiled kindly at her enthusiasm, but blinked slightly at her request. "Oh! Well, sure, I don't see why not," he replied, walking over to pick up the pokemon, releasing one of each pokemon onto one of the tables so she could take a look at them. "We have Charmander, the fire type, Squirtle, the water type, and Bulbasaur, the grass type," he introduced, smiling as he gestured to each one, "Do you see one you'd like?"

I walk towards them with a twinkle in my eyes, scooping all three up in a hug, being sure to keep Charmanders tail out in the open. "Ah I'm so glad I could meet all three! I already chose, but it was so hard to choose one over the others!" I put down all three, patting them each on the head warmly, before picking Charmander up from under the *arms*. "I choose this one, Charmander."
Professor Oak chuckled as she hugged the pokemon. He bowed his head with a smile, watching carefully as she patted the pokemon on their heads. "Well, I'm glad you've made your decision," he said, returning the other pokemon, "I hope you'll take good care of it." He placed the other pokeballs back, then walked back over, handing her the pokeball, as well as a pokedex, and some supplies. "And here are a few other things to help you on your journey," he added, offering them all.
