*rose shrugged, "only kill them. Any survives we have we need to keep alive incase we run into any. Also... watch out if I get alittle too... into it." She warned as Ameillea urged them to go already. Rose nodded, but still Ameillea was to stay close enough just in case. With Rose in the lead they marched towards the group but were able to take a second of cover where a dun seemed to have formed from a collapsed building. "Alright..." She let a tail shift above her, then a second. Two glowing orbs started to appear. Red in color and growing in size. When finished they werea bout the size of a basket ball and she lunched them into the group, before using her hand to pulvult town into the enemys for a head on fight. The orbs already crashing into the earth, exploding on impact made a decent spot for them to jump on in and start swinging.

Val launched herself forward, using her wings to propel herself forward in a flash. She swung her glave, wincing as she remembered her injury from earlier. She had fought off demi-gods and giants in her world and soon as she arrives here... she gets taken out by a freaking pen.
Figures.
Valfreyja set one heel into the ground and brought the staff up to block a frenzied blow, her visual interface locking onto weak spots in the joints. She turned her blade towards them. She would prefer to keep her actual powers on the down low if she could, but when it couldn't be helped, she blinded three of the creatures, hollering out,
"I'm Sorry!" to anyone who might have been looking in her direction just then.

It didn't seem to effect Ameillea, but it made Rose stumble alittle before she had to use one tail to brace herself and another to lash out at an enemy and throw him into on of his comrades. "Quiet... alright... im used to it from another one I know." She replied as she smacked her hands agins tsome guys and they burst into flames, which made them panic and let her go for more open, quick attack, zipping through them like a pinball. It was rather easy to finish off the enemy like this.

After a few minets or so, Rose and Val were all that were left standing as Ameillea headed to them, "I sense more." she told Rose as she gave a nod, 'we cant go around and doo this all day Mistress. That's stupid." Amiellea shook her head, "others need out help now. I can hear them come." She started to move quickly, and a village somehow still standing, but just on the verge of being attacked came into view. Ameillea looked to Val and pointed to the humans to show her what there purpose was. Rose looked to Val, "she wants us to save these people..."

Val leaned heavily on the staff of her glaive, "Yeah, yeah, I heard her." he trudged forward with very little elegance, once she was back into a gait she could manage. "If you can manage the outer circle I can form a one man shield wall in front of the people for an inner circle." She didn't know if they knew anything about military tactics, normally the circles were called breaches, but circle was a simpler concept. Pillowing was a good way to catch what slipped through the cracks. She was prepared for a lot to fall through the cracks, four people were barely a enough to flank guard with much less create a defensive barrier. She didn't wait for an answer before lifting up into the air with a powerful sweep with her legs, she landed heavily before the people and flashed them a brilliant smile. "Please stay back and huddle together behind this line." she drew a line with then end of her glaive. She turned and made three more lines, feet apart and out away. Red zones for herself.
All this was done in a matter of moments. Once her back was to them, her wings folded back against her. She would end whatever came near her without permission.
It was good to have something to do.

Rose argued with Ameillea for a few moments before both of the other girls joined in. To be honest, neither of them did understand the tactic. So they tried to follow her lead best they could. Some of the people seemed to listen and stay there, some of the ones that were still running ran past and joined their fellow villagers letting the warriors take care of the rest. But in only a few minutes time it seemed all that could be saved at that line was, the rest were goners and didn't stand a chance.

It seemed the enemy, the Golems as Ameillea would call them, were advancing more and more toward them, but carefully. Surly the aura off the three were intimidating... it made them hesitate before they would run in a for an attack with all they had. It was only a few here and there at first, but then suddenly from the rooftops, many jumped down to strike from above at Val, Rose and Amelia to counter attack there guard tactic. It through Amelia off, being not used to conflict up close, but Rose was quick to use up to seven tails now to fend them off. The tails worked like fists, shields, and even catapults that would lunch fire balls at a few. In the intense moment, the entire group in the village attacking at once, a single boy ran out from a barn looking building with a broken beam. He tried hard to strike at the Golems backside to aid the Warriors, but was knocked back by the first one he encountered when it turned around on him. Now on his back he scuttled back spreading his legs as the golem swung a large tree branch down like a club, he rolled to the side next to dodge, but no time to get up came. He dodged and dodged till he made it to a wall of a house on fire. The house was in a ruff condition, but it gave him an idea. It was built to hold the villages logs for exporting to the citys. He stumbled up and ran inside. The next thing everyone knew a large pile of logs rolled through the wall of the house and overtop of the unsuspecting wall of enemy's, making it easier for Val and Rose to finish of the ones still standing now. The boy didn't kill them, but he did mess them up enough a good sweep and the warriors would have them where they wanted them. Only on problem now though, the house like stricter started to collapse and the boy was stuck inside, unable to get out...

The basic shield tactic barely pulled through. Val wanted to roll her eyes when people ran. Once they left the designated area they were none of her concern however, she had given them their directions. Not following them had cost them their lives, to try to save them would mean the others would perish. Valfreyja kept to her training. When the logs rolled from seemingly nowhere, She was grateful for the respite. Where did they come from, she scanned the surrounding area and found the burning structure, narrowing her eyes she scanned for differentiating heat signatures, but the fire was making that nearly impossible. Making sure her line was secure and safe with a glance now that the enemies were appearing to thin out.... she turned her full attention on the building. I wouldn't call what she did next to be running, but her feet were on the ground at least some of the time, she let her wings speed her process more than normal and then crossed her arms over her head as she burst through a wall, coughing and stumbling as she inhaled smoke. Oh duh, the building was on fire. She spotted the guy as part of the roof caved in behind her, trapping her in there with him.
So much for quick escapes. A large creaking sound alerted her to the impending danger and her instincts took in. She launched herself towards the boy and threw herself over him, knocking them both to the ground and throwing her wings up into a shield above them as the building came down around them. Luckily, a nifty logger truck took a beam instead of them, though rubble from the roof crashed down and around them.
Uhg, she was going to need a bath later....
She waited until the air within the wings cleared before blinking open her eyes, allowing the orb in the center of her armor glow just enough to light the tiny space. At least the boy wasn't dead, this was a mess, and there were flames trying to eat the rubble outside the wing-shield. She shoed it away with an iota of her power, redirecting it to nibble on something else. To extinguish it would be wasteful of her energy.
"Are you able to move?" she questioned, finally finding her voice. It was a little scratchy from the initial inhalation of smoke.

((Decided I'd bring her sister into play just when they think the coast is clear. I can't tell where the middle is XD))

((ooc: that's fine I don't know either XD lol))

The boy was easyer to see now it seemed, duh, she was right there overtop of him. And it started him greatly at first, till he relized that she had just saved his life. He looked up, his short dirty blond hair dusty and a seem of joy he was alive in his eyes. "Yea... you okay?" He asked more worried for the warrior. He coughed, "I was trying to help out but... well I didn't think the whole thing would come down that easy." He replied trying to get up, he stumbled for a moment, feeling his acking back as he stood resist. Okay for a weak guy like him, pushing those logs over took a number on him after all. "Thankyou for saving me miss." He replied with a smile, it seemed Rose had finished the rest of the enemys off and were checking for other survivors. He held out a hand for a shake, "I'm Nelsion... most call me Nell." He replied with a plussering chuckle in his voice that it was all over.

Valfreyja was glad the boy moved, she shoved off the bits of structure she had been supporting in order to keep it from crushing the lad. It clattered to the ground and she followed him out of the wreckage as he stumbled. She did not try to help him. "You are welcome, I am fine." she replied curtly when he thanked her. She stretched her wings out, checking by feel for dented feathers and found none. Pleased she folded them back and let them rest behind her in a casual manner. She stared at the offered hand confused. Was it hurt? she took it in both of her own and gave it a once-over and turning it, there didn't seem to be any damage. She dropped the offered limb and furrowed her brows at him. She did not understand what a hand shake was. "I am Valfreyja. You could have died."

She turned stoically as if to leave him behind and return to the others when there was a crunching sound and black lightning pierced the sky. Before anyone could react another winged figure with wings black as Valfreyjas own were shining, bared down on her with a sword. Both arms raised over head and already swinging the blade down when Val reacted, shoving the boy sideways and slicing upwards with her glaive towards an exposed midsection. This, though the others wouldn't know it, was Diana. The dark winged creature threw herself out of her attack to avoid impaling herself on the weapon, she kicked off the remainder of the structure, shifting it, and launched herself at Valfreyja in a more guarded attack.
Val's expressions so far had yielded confusion, shock and now her teeth showed in unrestrained rage as she parried the blow with a two handed grip on her weapon. They had skidded several meters. They boy was safe, though nearly under their feet. Val's near white hair worked loose from it's confines, framing her colorful glare while the rest of it stayed loosely tied in a clumsy formation behind her head.
Diana's expressions only showed a kind of psychotic joy. A hatred burned behind dark amber eyes and hair as black as the death colored wings behind her. Her snarling grin mirrored Vals ferocity as she jutted her head forward, slamming it against the white ones. Val did not flinch. Both had the same high cheekbones and narrow noses. Both had slightly thin upper lips and matching full lower lips. Their jawline had the same stubborn set to it. If not for the eye color and the hair, their faces would be the faces of twins. Diana was shorter than Valfreyja, though as she was still airborn that was hard to tell. Val shoved her backwards and off her weapon. Diana lit on the ground and stood mere feet from her sister, mirroring her angry stance.

"What do you think you are doing." the dark one snarled. The question caused Val to furrow her brows once more. She had done this more times in the past day than she had in her life she thought.
"I thought you were dead with the others." Val snapped, her voice cracked lightly but her resolve was firm. "I was under orders." she growled.
Diana shifted and swung her foot swiftly at Valfreyja's head, using her wings for balance.
"ORDERS MY ARSE." Diana snarled as Val flashed back, barely out of range before she kicked sand at her brighter sibling and lunged at her. They tumbled to the ground and rolled in a very undignified manner.

((They both had chances to kill the other for real and didn't take them. They're a good reason for this~ They're secretly overjoyed the other is alive. HAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHA this was a very much a very much lot longer than this before I cut out a huge chunk.))

*As soon as the boy fell back I was like he was in danger again, and he was quickly trying to dodge feet. Finally he rolled out of the way and sat there in the dust, watching two female warriors face off. He noticed they were a lot alike... and sorta the oppiset of eachother. "Twin sisters?" He mumbled to himself in thought. He noticed yes they were fighting but not fataly trying to kill eachother. He finally looked around finding the area was destroyed , his village was no more. And the people that were there, were to buisy to care otherwise. He saw people crying over dead loved ones, family being reunited. Then there was two fighting warriors that looked like oppiset sisters, and then... just him. Yep... just him. He finally got up nd brushed himself off before finding a chance to step into the warrior battle and hold out hand twords both, "woh woh woh... hold on now... is there really a reason for all this? One war is enough." He replied looked from one to the other. Between them... now he was certain they were related. And also just realized how brave he was stepping it he middle of these two without realizing it. God he was stupid. He gulped shakily now as he let his hands fall to his sides, "are you two related?" He asked. Changing the subject. Just then there was a voice as two other people stepped over, Rose and Ameillea. "Alright we are done here." Rose replied as he glared, "who... are you guys?... um girls I mean..." great that too.

The siblings both glowered at the boy who came between them. It was Diana who was the first to crack a smirk. "You really want to protect these people?" she commented to her sister. "How innocent he is to think there is only one war being fought." she grumbled and sheathed her blade before crossing her arms over her chest. She would probably pour piss on Vals pillow later, but for now she actually wanted to know where she had landed and was looking around, delighting in the darkness of the area. She could get used to this. Valfreyja hadn't tainted it with her glittery sparkly s**t-aura yet. The darkness fed her and prickled under her skin unseen.
Val leered at her sibling sideways, leaning against her fathers weapon. She answered Nells question with a sigh. "We are sisters, though I had no idea this one was alive." a thought occurred to her, how on earth was she even there? Valfreyja had the spear, there was only on other weapon in their world that could travel like it and that was their uncles dagger.... their uncle who had died a few centuries back and had been buried with it. She questioned her sibling... "Did you...?"
"Yes."
"You're terrible."
"Uncle is looking rather well."
"I recall my previous statement, you are disgusting."
The siblings bristled at eachother again but didn't launch into another fight. When Rose spoke Val laid her wings back once again before recalling the silver appendages to return to her armor. "We're all just strangers really..." Val mumbled.

*Null had a swetdrop, "Wait huh?" Rose glared, "strangers my a**. Everyone these days has a purpose and reason for being." Amillea blinked, "I... like them~" Rose glared at her next, "what?" She rolled her eyes, "we are waisting time Mistress lets go," she looked to Nell, "and as for you. Get lost, your alive, make sure to keep it that way. Theres cover north of here, cant miss it." Nell went to speak, but gave in. He was over powered her, just a human aginst them, not a good idea. He turned to leave as Ameillea suddenly leaped and grabbed his arm, "wait I has me and Idea~" Rose grumbled, "that's never good." Ameilea giggled, "I want this human." Rose looked supprized, "your only 15!" Ameillea looked lost for a moment, "EWWWW no not like that! I think he would make a great guide for these two~ after all they must have may questions, and surly they will be confused on things later. He can teach them things about this world since they are here to stay." Rose glared, "no." Ameillea glared back, "I said yes!" They argued for a moment before Rose gave in and turned to leave before she cought on fire form anger reaching it's limet. "Human your now the guide to these warriors. Aid them, help them, don't die. Good luck." Amiellea giglged and bowed to each of them, "we will meet again soon my shinys~" she then ran after Rose to cetch up. When they were further out Rose had to ask, "why?" Ameillea was seirous now, "my angalic side told me alittle about the boy. He'll need it, as much as they will." Rose looked to her while rossing her arms, "you already have plan for them?" Ameillea's wings fluttered, "I practically claimed them already."

Meanwhile Fu was in the fake room where val had landed. He was sorting through the papers, and old things that once belonged to Koneko. Each on he would stop and it was almost like a memory of her. He would study some for moments at a time. He found the bloody pen... and then he pulsed and noticed a old book on the floor. One he didn't recognize when he brought these things in here. "hmm?"
PostPosted: Tue Oct 14, 2014 12:47 pm

Val blinked. She had no plans in letting these people know exactly who they were. Diana had no such restraints. "We're from another world actually." she said to the boy. While her sister did not like any of the ideas, Diana didn't care at all. It wasn't like she planned on staying. "I came to drag her back home. Did you know that darkness cannot be without light? She tried to kill me by leaving y'know. We can't be separated by world barriers like that, I'll fade away." Val didn't seem to care and was ignoring her sisters little chatter rant to the human. She was focusing on the pair arguing, and waved when she called them shineys. There was something strange about that young girl.
Since she had arrived, Val seemed to be in a constant state of confusion. She turned on her yattering sibling and grabbed her by the ear, turning to the boy.
"We will escort you to the north then."
Like hell she was going to be assigned a baby-sitter. She was a Valkyrie.
Diana hissed as she was pulled by the ear.

On the desk rested a book of antiquity appearances. It was neither large nor small and the leather work on the cover was unassuming. Simple embellishments with inked inlay. There was no title. On the inside of the book there appeared to be a story written in first person. The story of a person once very well known to FU and Yuji. It started from the very beginning of her memories and was written out almost as a narration of her life. It had been sneaked into the room decades ago by a young woman with pink hair and green eyes, it was sealed in with everything else at that time.

Nell blinked, "uuummm thanks... I think." he wasn't too sure if this was because of him or no. And what was it about him helping them? he was unsure. Either way he would accept the help to head up north. The other people however were suddenly following after overhearing there was safty north and they were going to be escorted by the warriors... who spawned another warrior even though they had no idea where the other came from... Nell turned and shied, "I think they need to be safe too." He chuckled awkwardly. Course, it may not be easy to get to the north, it was a ways still for being on foot.

Fu glared at the book and looked around. He closed it carfully, making sure not to wreck it and decided it was defenlty something he could read on all this spare time he had. And so he fixed the hole in the wall, sealing up the room hopefully for good this time. before opening up and beging to read as he walked back to his basement...

Val glanced solomly at the people who were gathering. She sighed before pushing a warm smile onto her face, covering the ever present calculating her eyes were doing. If war was as present on this planet as it had been on hers, then it was likely they were doomed in the long run. She would give them the best chance she could. She swiped a hand over her eyes, removing blackness from the burning building and the blood it had stuck to. It smeared, but cleared enough to no longer mess with her vision. She casually wiped her hand on Diana's much cleaner sleeve, much to the siblings annoyance. She brushed a finger along the orb in the chest of her armor as if it were a lover and it glowed dimly in responce, activatin the retracting mechanism in her wings. Metalic sounds not unlike paper shifting could be heard as the metal sheeting that acted as her wings feathers retracted and shifted under the seemingly alive armor.
Diana rolled her eyes. "Show off....." she muttered under her breath, loud enough for Nell to hear. Her own black wings seemed to have vanished sometime when no one was looking. She nudged him gently with her elbow. "Even being modest she has to show off. I can't stand this brat." irritation could practically be seen radiating off of her, though there was something akin to admiration in her eyes.
Val wasn't showing off, but she did need the survivors attention. She cast her voice out loud enough to be heard. "We need to gather what supplies we can and find wheels and wood..." her eyes flickered to the still burning building. "Preferably wood that isn't burning. If you are injured, see whomever has first aide experiance in your group, if there is no one availible, find bandages and see me." They needed to learn quickly that they would have to work together. She didn't know how the humans were going to behave in this world, her own world they were a strong people who needed no leading by a leash.
They needed to head north...
What was North?
The same question was on Diana's mind, and she cut her eyes sideways to Nell. "So..... where is this... North that they spoke of.... Is it a place?"

The book in Fu's hands read like a Diary.... Starting simply with a greeting.
Hello friend.
In this written memory I hope to record everything from this day on...
My name is Koneko Readman and I am 13 years old! I begin formal paper training today. Of course, I've controlled paper my entire life, why the academe insists that I need formal training.... I'll never understand. We have a special bond don't we? I know every fiber in this book as if it were a close friend. Annointed with ink, you gain even more power. You gain your own will and soul, but no one seems to understand that. That's why I prefer books over plain paper, but both are strong. I hope to form you into something powerful. You will be my voice for as long as your fibers still hold together. With every voice is a soul.
Now, on to today! Mama believes the Academe means well, inlisting myself and my brother at an early age. We are to be trained to become agents in the Human Supression Corps. HSC Agent Readmen. It sounds serious doesn't it? None of our kind like humans, they've tried to kill us too many times. Mama is a simple witch, she's never hurt anyone! The HSC protects us. It an an honor to be considered for their training.
Even if it is stupid.
My brother was taken into training two years ago. He's so much more serious now. It's really cool!

The first part of the journal was full of mundane details about her schooling and how it was fun. They wanted her to do more and more, they tested the reach of her power, how much she could control at once. They always told her she was the strongest paper witch they had ever encountered and how much she was going to help the HSC protect their kind. She was excited about the prospect of war against the humans. It was something she knew nothing about truthfully. She was innocent and had no idea what the HSC actually stood for. Destroying the human race had been their main goal.
The next year in the journal covered meeting a child, a human child. Finding how different they were than what she had been taught. It covered how much harder the tests were, how hard the teachers were starting to be on her. They no longer told her she was doing good, they just continued to press her. As the year continued doubt filtered into her writing and she was 15 when her brother went missing. Time gaps started to slide into the writing and tired filled explaining told that when she protested, wanting to know where her brother was, the Academe would put her in isolation. They were now blindfolding her durring tests and had devised a chair with wires that she plugged into. It was uncomfortable. If she didn't keep her powers up at a certain level she would feel pain. It was to train her in endurance they said... But it wasn't fun. Her power's waned if they were done without feeling, without care. The HSC wasn't as fun as she thought it would be. She snapped when she was 16, turning her paper against the teachers, but she was subdued and put in isolation. The next journal was months later when another group had came to take down the HSC. The little girl she had befriended was a child of one of the top human rights activists that worked with yokai and other monsterous beings. The group essentially was the early foundations of the Human Relations Organization Koneko would later work for. In the middle of an entry telling that things at home were a little rocky between her parents and her missing older brother, the journal that had been seemingly full of writing simply went blank.

Null blinked, "ummm... North is a direction. Just like south, east and west." He rose a brow unsure of them. The warriors didn't know which direction was which? He was beginning to wonder if this was a good idea. Perhaps that's what the strange girl with wings ment by him being their guide, he would help with what direction to take. Okay easy, he knew which was which. Follow the north star at night, and use the sun during the day. He looked up at Val however, he was convinced when seeing her like that. Convinced that they had a chance to make it to safty. He gave a nod, "i'll see if there are any maps or anything that hasn't already been burnt or torn to shreds."
As for the group of people, there was aww in there eyes as they looked at the angelic warrior in the sky. They were quick to react though, eger to get going already, especially the families that still had children watching the ones who lost there's still suffering from the event that lastly took place. It took them a little bit, but there was soon piles of what little salvage was usable. a pile of wood, a cuple of wheels from the logging trucks that was still in okay shape, and little trinkets that they may have found to remind them of there lost home. There were also however many injured, and it took a while to treat most of them if not all of them. Hours would pass at this rate, before the journey had even begun. In that time however Null managed to make a map of his own, using the burnt shreds he could of other maps from homes and the little shops.

Fu read the book carfully and slowly, tracing each word with his finger as he took each word written into account. There was more to Koneko he never did know about here, and this was the first time, he really realized it. He was eventually sitting down in his basement staring at the book open on the table. Just... staring at it in a daze of some kind. Where there more journals like this?
