Llyr, of course, felt the need to visit all of the campaign booths, if he could wrangle it, and this one at least had someone he knew running it. The booth itself was just as colorful as the ghoul that stood near it, and Llyr drifted towards it with a look of mingled curiosity and amusement on his pale, scaled face. He had only just met the ghoul at the carnival, but that was beside the point, because in his mind they were already acquainted.
"Good afternoon, Merry," he said pleasantly, pleased with himself for remembering her name. He stuck a hand in the front of his robes (the chains wrapped around his torso rattled and jangled as he did so), finally withdrawing a brightly colored flower crown, which he then offered to the ghoul with a smile.
"This is from me," he said unnecessarily. "I am giving them to all the candidates to wish them luck with their campaigns! Your booth is quite lovely, I am sure you will get many votes!"

Merry was arranging the feathered clips she'd made in neat rows on the table as the sound of chains alerted her to someone's approach. When she turned there was a smile already in place, but it brightened further as she recognized the boil that was walking up to her. "Oh, hi Llyr!" Like him, she was quick to consider someone a friend, even if she had only just recently met the person. "How are you doi- Oh!" The flowered crown was taken in careful hands, turned over and over so she could look at it from every angle. "This is beautiful!" And so thoughtful! With a happy chirrup she maneuvered it over her horns to settle it on her head. "How's it look?" She struck a pose, grinning. "Oh, are you running too? What position?" Not Public relations as well, she hoped. He was very nice, and she didn't like the idea of running against him. "I hope you're right, about the votes I mean. I'm still very new so not a lot of people know me yet." Humming thoughtfully she turned and plucked up one of the feathered clips, and offered it up to him. "For you!"

It was hard not to spot Merry from afar, or at least Amarus was learning this was true-- she had not particularly had cause to interact with the ghoul. Wrong species, wrong interests, she suspected.
"How do you manage both booths at once?" Amarus asked. "If I had such an obligation, surely I would have left my Malachi in charge and he would have merely glared at everyone much as I do when I am unaware of my own face... that is untrue, in a way, I often look absent," she mused, half to herself, half to Merry. Good-naturedly.
"I am Amarus, Lotus Eater. Perhaps we have met, some time ago? I lose track of the threads of things, now and again. I am campaigning for Vice President, and I thought I would like to visit everyone and offer words of encouragement as I was once offered such kindness," she said, looking at Merry's setup.
"In any case, may your inner strength light the way even in utmost darkness," Amarus said. Words of encouragement, as far as she'd ever say any. It was mostly just her personal motto.

He was very pleased she liked the crown, and when she set it on her head, Llyr pressed his hands together happily, beaming.
"You look quite lovely with it on!" he told her in a very matter-of-fact tone of voice, admiring the way it sat upon her brightly colored hair. "It is quite suited for you, you are so very beautiful after all! I am very happy to be able to give you something to wear that looks so lovely on you!"
Llyr nodded and added, "I am running for Student Council President! I am...I am not so sure how well I will do," he said, fidgeting with his shirt a little and looking faintly distressed. "I am not particularly adept at speaking, after all, but I do wish to try and help as much as I can."
He almost added something about the whole friend thing but refrained at the last moment, pressing his lips together and giving Merry a smile. When she handed him the feathered clips he gave them a wide-eyed look and immediately lifted them to stick in his hair, carefully tucking them right next to where Pachua's feathers were looped.
"There," he said, smoothing down his hair. "Thank you, they are lovely!"

"A vote of Merry is a vote of fun!" Alpinely found this statement of nine words so catchy!! There was so much to take in during this portion of the carnival as well and Alpinely thought she'd definitely benefit with even more knowledge of the campus by looking around all the booths again more thoroughly!! When she was offered a selection of three item choices in this booth she underwent her eee knee mean-ie mine eee oh chorus again and picked up a bangle at the finish.

Shiki padded fairly silently up to the booth, taking in all the bright colors. Wow, this was so.. vivid. He peered at the dart board, then at the ghoul running the booth. "H-Hit it?" He swallowed a little and lifted a dart. Ugh he had been so bad at this at the carnival.
Ack! A complete miss, he sure hoped that no one else got hurt when the dart went flying..
Wilting a bit under his failure he bowed his head. "Thank you, sorry I am so bad."

"Do I?" The ghoul preened, wings fluttering out as she bounced a little on her hooves. "Ohmy, you will turn a ghoul's head with talk like that. So very flattering." She didn't mind it in the least! Compliments were as sweet to the chimera as candy. So he was running as well, for president. This meant he was not her direct competition and she could wish him luck without it feeling just a little false. "You're very nice, I think you'll do well. I hope you do." Still new, Merry didn't know many students, but she knew Llyr, so he already had a bit of a head start at earning her vote based on that alone. As he clipped the feathers into place she gave a pleased trill, a finger pointing up to where they nestled in beside the familiar sunset plumage of Pachua. "Ohhh, you look very stunning!" More people were approaching now, and the ghoul offered Llyr a beaming grin before turning to greet the new comer with a wave. This one a ghoul, a ghost. Merry clasped her hands behind her back as she came up and asked about her booth. "Oh, it's not too hard. The free gifts give themselves away, so I don't have to worry too much about that." Besides, no one was waiting for a kiss as of yet. "It's a pleasure to meet you Amarus, I'm Merry, a chimera." She didn't understand everything the other ghoul was saying, but it sounded more or less positive so she smiled, offering a hand out to her. "Good luck in the campaign." A few others approached as well, and she wiggled her fingers at the vampire ghoul before she had wandered off with a new bangle. "Enjoy the carnival!"

Tink was nothing if not a sucker for bright and festive for colors, and for things (an infectious Reese quality) and particularly made things, which is how she ended up at Merry's booth. The ghoul was busy with guests, and so, after lingering around shyly for a minute, Tink decided, despite her general lack of dexterity, to try her hand at the darts. She closed her eyes. Generally this was not an advisable strategy, but Catinka being Catinka, it might actually have been the key to her success. She threw, and then cautiously opened her eyes--and gaped at the feathered dart quivering in the precise center of a tiny little bullseye. "Oh," she said.

Anna made her way forward to find Merry sitting at the snack attack booth. But now it had been converted into a newly finished Campaigning booth! She wandered forward grinning at the other girl. "Is it exciting running for office?" She asked. Minipets SN: Anhikajeanine

Uru gave a huff as he stood back after his throw. It seemed to be a theme among these sort of events that darts and balloons or boards were involved. At least he was getting in some good practice at least. However, he would need more considering he only managed to land on the outer edge of the rings. A little more umf and he could have gotten a better shot. Beejoux I think I only qualify for a Scare Egg O: SN: Phiferwolf

There was a thunk, a soft 'Oh', and Mery turned to see a dart sticking right out of the center of the bullseye. "Wow." That should have taken longer, shouldn't it have? With an impressed twitch of brow she turned to congratulate the student responsible, but upon spotting Tink standing at the edge of the table, staring at the dart she had very obviously just thrown, the chimera couldn't help but gap for a moment. Just just seemed so unlikely! With a shake of her head the taller ghoul pulled herself out of that disbelief long enough to give a bark of a laugh as she headed around behind the booth(watching for more flying darts), and reached beneath it to pull a very young, half translucent, scareon kit from the cage it had been sleeping in. Upon being roused, the little beast let out a soft yawn that ended in a whine, but drifted off just as quickly in Merry's arms as she wandered back around to where Tink was standing. "That is some impressive dart throwing, lambchop." The scareon was offered down to her, and when her arms were clear again she swooped in to give the ghost a tight hug around the shoulders, mindful of the kit now dozing in it's new owner's arms. "You take really good care of'em, okay?" Another dart hit the target with a resounding thunk, but this one was trembling at the edge of a ring. "Good aim!" Leaning over the booth, Merry fished out a little read and white ball and tossed it to the girl that had one. Another was tossed to the wolf boil that had taken a shot a moment after. "Mystery scareons!" phiferwolf You didn't add a minis name, do you want the scare egg?

This was a very colorful booth. San doesn't know where to look at in seeing the bursts of colors and feathers decorations, but it was certainly an eye catcher in seeing the ghoul in the running for Public Relations. There was the kissing booth . . . but something tells him that he shouldn't look at that booth and looked over to see the feather darts. "This seemed like fun . . ." San muttered to himself as he looked at the other students on how to play the game. With his turn up, he picked up the darts and tries his luck . . . only lucky enough to win some candy as he sighs.Beejoux CANDY * D* If you wanna reply or not o vo/

Trisha far preferred to actually do the booths. Really she did, and this ghoul, this ghoul was very pretty. Trisha approved of her as Public relations. all the approval. Trisha picked up a dart, took steady aim... and missed completely. Oppps. "I like the feathers. are these your feathers?" they looked like they could be. Merry was such a lovely ghoul. Trisha gave all the approval. "Hi I'm Trisha. I'm going for Vice president." she gave the ghoul a look over. Clearly a monster dorm ribbon for her. "The red goes with your hair I think. please take it as a token of good will. That and I think it will be a lot of fun working with you." they had so much in common after all. Hooves and horns anyway.

Tink seemed, if anything, much more stunned by this turn of events than Merry did, and continued simply gazing at the dart in a combination of shock and vague bewilderment as Merry procured the prize, not quite noticing the acknowledgement until the Scareon kit was offered to her and she took it, holding it against her chest in bafflement. "Oh," she said again, looking like she might cry. "Oh I will but--I closed my eyes, though. Does it count?" And then, abruptly: "Oh, also--look!" She stuck out one neatly-painted hoof, to demonstrate the fact that she was wearing one of the boots that Merry had showed her, trimmed in lace and little bronze skulls. A shy smile, at that.
