Kuro the Dark Twin Heiress, Aura the Forest Elf, Sol the Golden Twin, Luna the Silver Twin, Malum the Dark Elf, Topaz/Crim the gender shifting Dragoness, Okami the Town Guardian. ______________________________________ Okami got seats at the bar, ordering both drinks she'd mentioned earlier, since she couldn't decide on the way. "Anything my friend wants she can have. My treat, but don't get her too wasted she'd got work."
She tucked her blue hair behind her hears and looked around the bar.

[Enter Leti from Town Square.]
Leticia sat down beside Okami, thinking of what she wanted. It wasn't like she didn't want anything fruity, it was just that she didn't want any drinks too alcoholic. In the end, the black woman decided on something simple to drink that had just enough kick in it to satisfy her. "I'll have a Passion Fruit Mojito, please." She smiled at Okami, feeling a little bad that her friend was paying for her, but she was warming up to the idea of trusting people in this town, or at least the blue-haired girl.
Once the bartender turned around to make their drinks, Leti turned to Okami. "The bar is real nice. How long has it been around?" she asked. When they walked in, she didn't see an "Established in" sign, but she guessed she could have missed it.

((Mm mojito))
"Long before I got here. I figure it's gotten quite a few facelifts. Probably more than 100 years with the way this town is." Even she could only answer so much, time did not always flow normally here.
She also ordered some jalepeno poppers and chips and salsa, nothing went better with drinks than food.

[Ha, I'm guess you like mojito?]
Leticia shrugged as she looked over the menu lying on the bar. "I figured they'd at least install A.C. and heating. It'd be cool to know what this place was like way back when it was built. Maybe they had some Wild West Roundups in here?" When the bartender returned with their drinks, she asked for a taco salad so she wouldn't mooch off of Okami's chips and salsa.
As she waited for her salad, Leti stirred her drink with its straw before finally taking a sip. The taste of lime and pineapple flooded her tongue and overwhelmed her taste buds for a brief moment. Then she brought herself back to reality. Pushing her drink away from her, Leti turned to the blue-haired girl once again and said, "You know, Okami, I've been thinking maybe I should just move into town." Where she'd move in and how she'd afford it, she was still unsure, but she liked the town and aside from scary dragons crashing parties and tigers playing in the water fountain, she was okay with it.

"There is always room for another resident in Kuro Shiro." She smiled. "Just let me know, I know all the housing stuff around here, and if nothing else you can crash with me until we find a place for a good price."
Okami smiled at the bartender and sipped her drinks after mixing them up a little so the fruit was in the whole thing, not just the bottom.
"Who knows, you may end up bringing this town something it's been needing for a while. Everyone is here for a reason."
((My first legal drink was a plain mojoto. I love lime and mint together..and rum. and it was banana run. so it was nice and not too strong.))

{Enter Mikora}
Miko flew up to the doorway of the Bar & Grill, deciding to have a little food before going around town and getting whatever she could find. She shifted back into a human expertly enough that in one second she had been a crow diving at the door, the next thin, scraggly little girl with her hand on the door handle. She slowly opened the door, making it where the bells on the doorway didn't go off, taking in the people inside and noted each and everyone's position. Then, by sheer habit, she looked for all exits and how easy the cash register was to reach. Another look around as she closed the door made notice the woman she had given her address to the night before at the ball. She silently padded her way over to her, once again a force of habit, contemplating what she would say, but then she stopped upon seeing Okami.
Miko had mixed feelings for Okami. On one hand she was the owner of the town and therefore an authority figure, something Miko had a deep-seated distrust and fear of. On the other was the rumors that Okami had had a history on Miko's side of the law. She weighed the options and decided that she still wanted to talk to the woman, actually introducing herself to her for one and learning the woman's name, as well as see if she was doing okay after yesterday.
She got up behind them, just a few feet from their backs, when she whispered as loud as she dared over the growing din of the Bar, "I see you made it through the night pleasantly enough." and then with a sideways glance at Okami, "Hope I'm not interrupting anything." she added, suddenly conscious of just how ragged she must look, with all her roughed-up clothes hanging on her like a scarecrow and hair looking like a rat nested in it. She quickly combed her fingers through her dirt-brown hair in an attempt to fix it, something she hadn't done much of for about two years.

[Oh, a pleasant memory then. smile I've never had alcohol, so I was just choosing a random fruity drink.]
Leticia beamed when Okami responded positively to her thought. And, for a brief moment, she almost fell into the trap of comfort. Okami offered to let her crash at her place if she still had a hard time finding a place. The offer reminded her of Mikora, the girl she met at the party. However, she didn't let the sudden jarring thoughts ruin the mood. Okami was too nice of a person to let down. "Thanks, Okami," she said before taking another sip of her drink.
Then, a familiar wispy voice sounded behind her. Quick as a whip, the black girl turned around in her seat and saw it was Mikora. Giving a little squeal, she rushed out of her seat and gave the girl a hug. "Me making it through? I'm just glad you're alright. And no, it's just some girl time. Why don't you join us? Okami, you won't mind, right? Mikora helped me at the party. Without her, I'm sure I would have been a goner," she said as she turned back to look at the blue-haired girl, hoping for her approval.

Okami looked around as her companion did that 'OMG BESTIE I LOVE YOU' squeal most girls did for some reason. She completely his any hit of negative emotion. "No, you aren't really interrupting we were just getting drinks and a bite to eat before she has to go to work." She explained.
"She is welcome to join, and I'll even put her on my tab for the day." She smiled and called the bartender over, letting him know and also warning him to guard his money. Her blue hair stood out in the rustic look of the place, but now the whole group was standing out. "I insist you get something, especially some booze." alcohol was know for shutting down the body's ability to process fat, so basically it would make Mikora gain weight. "These are the best drinks in town."
((I have had a list, Mojito, both drinks Okami has, two whiskey based drinks that tasted like cinnimon gum to me, sex on the beach, margarita, beer, me and the BF go halfs on them so we try more things that way. It helps when I want to play a drunkard if I know what I'm talking about lol))

Miko stood rigid in surprise as her new found friend hugged her. This definitely wasn't what Miko was expecting because 1. No one had Ever hugged her before; 2. She never expected anyone would be willing to hug her ever; and 3. No one ever showed that much enthusiasm when she came around to visit, unless it was to get a gun or the police. But after a few heartbeats, Miko let herself relax, placing her hands into the space between her friend's shoulder blades and pressing into the hug and enjoy the breif embrace, before allowing her friend to detach so she could ask Okami if Miko could join.
Okami looked as if she was holding something, and Miko wondered if it was about her, or if she had interrupted. Maybe she's just got a lot on her mind, after all there was a lot that happened last night. Miko finally resolved, then got reaffirmed as to her suspicions of Okami's reservations on when she overheard her warning their bartender to guard his money, as if that will work. But she wasn't going to turn down a free reign on a bar tab, even though she couldn't stand too much alcohol or it would hurt her throat too much. So she gave her most charming smile, made all the more shocking by the fact that the only thing completely clean on her entire body was her teeth. Even with her rapid deterioration into pretty much wasting away, she still kept up with her teeth. "If the lady insists, I'll have the red Tuscani you have on the top shelf in your wine cellar. The 1997 year, you know the one. Bring the whole thing, alongside a peach tea with lots of honey." She whispered to the bartender, having ordered the tea in case even her Italian blood couldn't save her from the burn of cheap wine down her ruined throat.
Miko enjoyed the reaction as he understood that she knew exactly what was in his wine cellar, which Miko believed he had thought secure behind a couple of padlocks. She turned a blind eye to his shudder, a reaction she had eventually gotten used to when people heard her talk, as he walked away. Miko sat down beside her friend so that she sat between her and Okami as a safety precaution, and then turned towards the other while putting her wide flaring hood up just enough that people looking through the window outside couldn't see her. Miko was paranoid like that, plus it had the added benefit of hiding some of hair raggedly cut hair. "I couldn't help but worry about a new found friend, even one I never properly introduced myself to." Miko whispered wryly, taking a swig from her water bottle as she waited on her drinks. She bobbed her head at her friend whispering "My name is Mikora Da Roma, some just call me Miko if they know me.

Leticia grinned as Mikora joined them for some drinks and laughed when the wispy-voiced girl completely destroyed the bartender with knowing exactly where his alcohol was in the wine cellar. She had only a faint idea of how Mikora knew where it was, but it still made her laugh. The bartender looked freaked out and a little scared. Gently shoulder-bumping Mikora, Leti took a sip from her drink as they got the conversation rolling once again. "Well, I didn't introduce myself to you, either, so I guess we're even." She grinned as she reached for her order of food. "Name's Leticia Abernathy-Chambers. You can call me Leticia or Leti, or any other nickname you come up with for me. That goes for you, too, Okami. I ain't that picky," she said as she leaned over the counter to look at her blue-haired companion.
"Anyways, Mikora, I was just talkin' to Okami 'bout movin' inta town, though I don't got enough money yet to pay rent. It'll be tough, but I'ma workin' on it." She felt happy to have definite plans for her future. It had been a long time since she had any sort of plans, so it felt so good.
[Well, now I know who to go to for writing drunk characters advice.]

Kuro the Dark Twin Heiress, Aura the Forest Elf, Sol the Golden Twin, Luna the Silver Twin, Malum the Dark Elf, Topaz/Crim the gender shifting Dragoness, Okami the Town Guardian. ______________________________________ Okami eyed her for a moment, they had the basical laws of 'don't do this' because if ya did someone else would most likely do something back, and that broke the peace. So the unnerved bartender made her unhappy. If you were going to be a thief, or whatever that girl was, at least don't be creepy about it.
She knew about that, no, if you did something that was morally wrong, or especially lawfully wrong, you needed to conceal it. You weren't supposed to flaunt it. "Oh, yes I said she could stay with me until she saves up enough. The prices here aren't half-bad really but when you have to save up, it is a lot easier without paying for a room every night."

Miko noted Okami's glare in her direction, but shrugged it off like water. She's probably doesn't really care about someone showing off, especially when it's not really a nice thing to show off. But Miko didn't care too much, after tonight not only will the Bar likely beef up their security and actually give her a challenge, but she'll have cleaned them of the only really valuable thing in the store, which they kept on their bottom rack of the wine cellar. And I'll be paying for it. She thought, having to fiercely suppress a giggle at the lunacy of it. To Miko it has become something of a perverse pleasure actually paying for something. But Miko was glad that at least Leti found her performance amusing as she did.
Her bottle of wine and glass of tea came along not too long after that. She sipped from the wine as Leti told her about her plan's to move in, pleasantly surprised that the cheap wine wasn't hurting her throat too much. Well, at least it's not bleeding, that's always a good sign. Miko thought absentmindedly while she listened to Okami's response to it. After that, the only thing that swept through her mind was a disappointed Didn't I say she could stay with me if she wants?
Miko drained her glass of wine, gasping like she had drunk hard whiskey as it burned its way down and nearly ruptured her throat, but not soon after poured her second glass. "If you need a little help with the start-up, I'm not hurting for money and my brother Lucien can be extremely persuasive when it comes to making deals," she whispered helpfully, pausing to take a quick sip to wet her throat. "Knowing him, he can persuade the agent to give you some amazing deal, in return for some silly favor." She finished, her eyes rolling to express what she thought of her brother's method of payment for everything in life. She reached for her wine glass, but then thought better of it and took a sip from her tea. It was nearly syrupy in consistency due to the amount of honey they had put in it, but the combination of peaches and honey rolling around on her taste buds was a wonderment in itself, nearly gumming up her aching throat on the way down.

Leticia was enjoying the moment, grinning as Mikora downed the wine the bartender brought up from the cellar. Sure, Okami didn't seem too keen Mikora's skills at creeping people out, but everyone had their own ticks. With a shrug, Leti sipped her drink until she caught the look in Mikora's gaze the instant Okami mention her offer from earlier. It took a moment for her to come up with something reasonable to say before the two girls started a cat-fight of sorts. "Actually, I was thinkin' of stayin' between your place, 'Kami, and Mikora's since she offered me to come over whenever I needed a place." The young woman sat as relaxed as possible, trying to diffuse the situation before anything happened. It was the least she could do for how nice they've been to her.
"Now, what's this 'bout silly favors, Mikora? I know a thing or two 'bout favors, and none are ever silly." Changing the subject also seemed like a good idea and she was curious about the wispy girl's brother.

"We may not have law, but we do have rules." She downed one of her drinks and went to the other. "Plus me, and I guess Kuro and Shiro, are the people who are supposed to maintain the peace, and with them here there may be actual laws instated. Don't do anything stupid until you know what is going to happen with those two."
She found it very ironic that she was one of the people over the town and it's citizens, considering her past life of crime. But she did understand it. She knew a lot, understood a lot, and really only demanded that people's actions were not to harm someone else and never deprived anyone of a need. Anything minor and she didn't care that much about it.
