"The one on America," he clarified, sounding distant. And of course he'd still think of that as his. "The one I had was--well. You know, I guess. I'm sure they were pretty close." Maybe they were; maybe they weren't. He hadn't gone out of his way to see any of the others; truth told he'd barely looked at the one America had given him, and remembered it instead as a cool and wonderful weight on his finger. He'd spend most of his time in Wonderland with his head on a tavern table, blessedly, beautifully drunk, serving up memory after memory without hesitation. The rest of the time he'd spent trying to get lost again. He added, addressing the screen vaguely: "Second most ******** Disney princess." Belatedly, without any genuine remorse: "Is she even legal in this movie? Can I say that?" And then: "Maybe third most."

She snorted at that abrupt and rather unexpected comment. "I hadn't thought about it, but I think she is. Legal, I mean." They got married, but then again, a lot of the Disney princess got hitched, and she'd found out that some of them were younger than she'd thought. "If she's second, or now third? Who's first and second?" It was a weird topic, but now she was curious.

He had clearly given this a lot of thought. "Ariel," he counted off on his fingers unhesitatingly. This was, given his penchant for both needy girls and redheads, not surprising, although it must be observed that Ariel definitely was underage. "Megara." Saucy redheads, too. "Tiana. Jasmine, Pocahontas. If Jane counted she'd be up there above both of those two, though. The rest are all kind of a wash. Except maybe Mulan. I don't know how Mulan fits into this." Well, she was a crossdresser. This was hardly surprising. And then, with another wobbly swig off his bottle: "Don't tell me you've never considered this. Everyone has."

The speed with which he answered was almost alarming, but what he was saying was just so unexpected and amusing she could only sit there and smile up at him with eyes a touch gone a touch wide with the strangeness of the topic of conversation. His choices weren't really all that unexpected, at least most of them. She wasn't sure what it was about Pocahontas that did anything for him, but she was tall, dark, and pretty, and maybe that was all? At the generalization she gave him a look. "Excuse you, I am a girl, and straight, why would I consider this sort of thing?" A pause as lips pursed, then she added. "Unless you mean the princes. Is that what you meant?"

"I have it on good authority--" the same sisters, no doubt "--that all the princes are basically equal except Aladdin and the Frog guy and that guy from Rapunzel so spare me. I have never met anyone who hasn't ranked the princesses for ********," he said defiantly, as though accusing her of lying--he really was quite tipsy; Taym always hid it fairly well until the point where he was pretty far gone--and as though he made it a point to ask everyone this, right after their name and what they thought about the weather. "You're either a liar or an outlier," he added, and the swallow he took after had a distinctly congratulatory air, as though he were very proud of this statement.

An amused snort followed his good authority. "Jim's cut from a different clothe, but then he didn't have a princess to win." Treasure Planet had always been such an underrated film. Arms folded, she shot him a challenging grin as she turned a bit in her chair so she was facing him full on. "Really? Never? I find that hard to believe." And just how many female virgins had he kept company with in the last ten years? "But if you're insisting I have a list, let's see." Glossed lips twisted up thoughtfully. Honestly, she'd never given this much thought, so it was hard now to pick princess out of her memory bank to apply a ******** rating. Specially since she didn't really look at other girls that way. "Meg, gotta love that sass. Also Tinkerbell. I don't care, she's a princess in my book. Hmm."
