Cecily wasn't quite sure what to think when she heard Phee calling her name. The little shiny Celebi loved visiting with Phee - and sleeping in the house-nest when the weather grew too uncomfortable to stay outside - but she wasn't usually around at this time. In fact, that she was not just home but actively seeking her out was one more reason to be disturbed by how strange everything had been lately. Slipping off of the tree branch she had been sitting on, Cecilly worked her way down from her perch in a tall tree, occasionally using her wings to cheat and slow her fall, softening the impacts when she caught on to another branch with her hands or her knees. Eventually, she tumbled to the ground and picked herself up, dusted her knees off and trotted in the direction of Phee's house. "Coming," she called, hoping to find the Manaphy before he weather did another sudden - and unpleasant - shift. "Coming, Phee! What is it? What's going on?"---- Rory was a quiet sort, and always had been. The child amaura was often unruffled by the world around her, a tiny island of serenity in a sea of chaos. But even she, calm as she could be, was frightened by the abrupt and violent weather shifts. She had begged her guardian and surrogate big brother to let her try to do something about it, and after a lot of pleading on her part and grumbling on his, he had... still said no. So she was sneaking off to do it instead. Not that Rory knew how to fix this, but she had a feeling that if she at least tried to investigate, maybe she could help. So the Amaura loaded up her backpack with small, deft fingers, packing simple things like a bottle of water, a broken hammer her brother had found for her to defend herself with, and a blanket in case she needed to camp out. There were more practical things that might be needed, but this was what she had, and it was what she would have to make do with. --- Meanwhile, off near a house in the woods close to a river, Alistair huddled near the form of his researcher-mother, and leaned into her embrace as the woods that held their home burned. Alistair couldn't see it, but he could smell the smoke, and he nuzzled his mother's waste to try and get the smell of smoke and burning things out of his nose. "Mama, will our house be okay?" He asked softly, and the human woman sighed, shaking her head. "No. We'll go live in the city for a while, how does that sound? Or maybe by the beach, if the storms die down there.... If they ever stop." Alistair frowned, thinking that over for a moment, then he nodded and smiled, patting Mariana's hand reassuringly. "Don't worry, Mama! I'll help make it better!" Still smiling, he sniffed the air once more, and then - dragging his ever-present and ever-loved Teddi with him, the child-Deino took off at a dead run, barging past his mother and off in whatever direction his nose felt like leading him, ignoring the human's calls for him to come back. "Gonna get our house back, bye!"

It was all gone. Everything that he ever had or really even knew was gone. Even his best friend was gone. At least his friend had made it out of their field before it was destroyed. The 'attack' had come out of no where and thankfully it had been during the night when it had started and Koujen was normally wide a wake in the evening until dawn. There were so many dreams to nibble on. But all of the young Muna's dreams were gone now, the only home he knew had been stuck by a severe storm. He had seen lightning strike so many times in the same spot then waters flooded. the low field. The grass was so singed from the strikes that nothing but ash remained.
There was no real reason for him to ask why this had all happened he had seen the shadows of Pokemon and could feel anger or at least taste odd bits from the minds of those Pokemon. He did not know why one was so many and two seems to be having fun using whatever the one was angry for as an excuse. He pulled his dirty glasses off his face and wiped it on a dirty shirt trying to clear them up. His friend had made it out before the field was destroyed so he did not have to worry about that but now where was he going to go? What was he going to do? Maybe he should go and try to find one of these destroyers and find some way to get them to stop...or at the very least get them to give him a new home. They destroyed his they owe him that much.~ ~ ~ ~ The city was a buzz with the news of the ranging legendaries. Marriette was working rather hard in the clubs with Carwyn trying to keep people calm and help get those in need places to stay or what every they needed. She was doing as much as she could bringing water and blankets, food and first aid. The normally fun and cheerful clubs were open to Pokemon and Poke-human alike even a few humans were welcome with or without their Poke-pals if they were in need.
Her four arms were busy carrying as much as she could. She was so glad to be of some help and keep her mind clear and busy. She was worried for so many things, a big worry was that her friend being out there. She had never gone to Switch's home bit she knew it, was like Aggro's and out in the country. She prayed with each new wild creature seeking shelter that Switch would come in and be alright and tell her that everything was fine. But glancing around with her expressionless eyes she could see that her 'guardian' was in a similar boat of worry and distraction. Maybe all this distraction was a good thing. And they were doing good. But maybe what they were doing was not enough. Surely they could be doing more.

Shousuke felt a tug on his shirt, and when he turned to look Willemina was holding out a potion. He blinked a few times, looking down at her palm. "Wha-? Hey!" His hands scrambled to grasp it when she dropped it towards him, and with a grumble he moved to find a pocket to place it in.
"She found it near your feet, around that log. You were too busy with the weather, I guess." Granted, Bethanne couldn't take her eyes of it either. She moved to open her bag, which was nothing more than a bedazzled side satchel. "You can put it in here if you like."
"Thanks, Beth." Shousuke placed the potion inside, and took at look at her inventory. Potions, Antidotes, bandages, water bottles, bottles of milk...She had a First Aid kit that would put Nurse Joy to shame. He gave a look at seeing the milk though, and smirked when the Miltank whistled while looking in the other direction.
A crack of thunder caused Bethanne to cry out. She reached for Shousuke, clinging to his arm like a wet leaf to a stone. He knew she was terrified, but for her to even come out this far really spoke well of her character. She wouldn't hide, even if she was about to burst into tears. He patted her arm, and walked with Will at point.
The trio continued on at this pace, climbing further into torn forest until they were close enough to become truly antsy. With a click of her tongue, Will stepped back to the pair and reached for Bethanne's bag. If there was anyone, or anything in the area, they needed information. The best way to do that? Willemina pulled out a flare gun.
"Willy, what are you doing?!" Beth tried to tackle her sister to get it back, but by the time she'd knocked the girl to the ground the gun had already been fire. A beam of bright red smoke passed through the trees and popped in the sky. "THAT WAS MY ONLY ONE. Now we're going to die and no one will ever know!" Oh, how she wanted to throttle her!
Shousuke pondered a moment before interrupting, "Not necessarily. I think I get it. We're going to attract unwanted attention, but at least this way we stand a chance of finding anything. I don't want to just stumble onto this shrine without a plan, and if there are others here I'd prefer if they didn't bumble in first either."

Lightning had made sure she and Fluff both had backpacks of things they might need, with Dea's help. She looked over to Calantha and found that Serenity had done likewise for her own Pokemon. The trio of them decided to head through the forest that was not far from where they lived, almost like something was pulling them in that direction. "I just hope we can find out why all of this is happening. What has these gods so angry that they are causing all of this?"Light asked curiously. She heard the thunder overhead, but it didn't scare her at all. "We will find out. And we will be able to calm them. Maybe they just need a hug,"Fluff suggested. He had started to bounce a little ahead of them, when he bumped into someone (Switch) he didn't know. ' Please forgive him, he gets excited sometimes,'Callie apologized to the girl. She didn't realize this was Switch, the other had changed since they had last met.

Brenny continued on his way, occassionally piping up with ideas as to why the storms were happening. He liked them even less than Draven, he told the dragonite. He was afraid for his forest, the one he tended to every chance he got. Since the storms had started, he had been unable to. The wind had startled him, the thunder had frightened him: but what had kept him out of that forest was his fear of fire. The celebi knew, from experience, that fire was a substance that could be controlled. He also knew, from experience, that fire could destroy everything in its path. "I haven't been to check on it," he fretted, aloud. "I've been worried about Daddy and our family and--" he'd intentionally avoided the forest for fear of fire. "Don't worry," Draven said, smiling at the celebi. "Your forest's alright. It flooded some. Flooded near our cabin too. Some of the trees and plants were washed away. Rhiyn says they'll grow back, though. He says whenever something bad happens, something good happens to fix it." The dragonite continued, moving to lead the celebi, when he thought he spotted someone familar. Yes, he recognized that tail! "Fluff!" He called to the boy, beaming. "Hey! Do you know Brenny? He's got cookies to calm the storm guys down." He glanced towards Lightning briefly; who was that, Fluff's girlfriend? And who was the other girl (Switch)? "Want to go together, where ever we're going?" ~~~ Theo hated storms, but more than that, he hated being alone. He continued on his way, hoping that another hoothoot (or any Pokemon, for that matter) had had the inexplicable urge to head into the storms. He didn't know much about gods: but this storm had destroyed his home. He wanted to know what had caused it. At least, part of him did. A larger part, th more important part, wanted to flee under the nearest stone bridge and hope for the best. Honestly, coming out in weather like this was asking to be struck by lightning! Orpheus Solon Go, go, go! Love you, Karpface!

Ialu gave pause in what he was doing, tilting his head to one side, the long ribbon like wings on his back giving a flutter. What... was that? He could hear someone calling out, though who it was he couldn't say. All he knew for certain was that it was one of 'his children' as he referred to them as. He felt for a moment torn. He should go forward, see about trying to fix what was going on, to stop the ragging weather, it was his responsibility after all since there were so many of 'his children' in the area. At the same time he could tell that one of them was in trouble and he really couldn't just leave a Pokemon if they were in danger.
After a bit of thought he turned and floated toward the voice that was calling about, talking about 'being stuck' as it were. Upon finding said stuck individual he couldn't help but to stare. Stuck... in the mud? Well... that was good he supposed, he wasn't hurt after all, he was literally just stuck in something sticky. It wasn't as though he had gotten himself trapped forever but still, stuck was stuck, and what happened if there was a flash flood? He couldn't just leave him in this predicament now could he? What terrible role model would be if he were to check on the Shiny Glaceon only to leave him where he'd found him?
Giving a little shake of his head he floated forward, staying above the sticky mud, and looked down at Loki, "Do you need a hand?" He asked before he made a motion with his hand, using his psychic powers to try to pull him free. He would save the guy, put him down outside of the mud's reach, then he would continue on toward where he felt this might all be centered. He couldn't spend too much time here but he would spend just enough time to get save this one. ***** Nidhogg was flying low, or at least low for him, he tended to be way up in the sky unless it was time to go berry picking after all. As far down as he was he could see all the damage that had been down to everything on the ground and he had to admit, he was impressed. It was probably bad of him to think such a thing but it was true. Whoever had made this mess had done so in a manner that was most impressive. It was as though a wave of destruction had washed over the land leaving chaos in its wake. It couldn't be Jorm, could it? Did he really have all of this in him? Hard to say, he supposed it would depend on if something motivated his brother or not. He supposed he wouldn't know until he found him, until then he meant to continue to enjoy the mess that had been made.
If nothing else at least Pokemon would be able to go about their lives without getting those accursed Pokeballs thrown at them. Sure, they too had to deal with the mess but if you asked him it was the better part of the deal. Better having to deal with wonky weather then getting dragged around by some useless, overly young human trainer.
"Ah!" Nidhogg came to a halt, jerking his head to one side, before he turned to follow after what he thought might be his brother. He couldn't be certain, he hadn't gotten a good look, but if it was at least he could try to figure out what was going on down here. Really, he had to try to nap less and pay more attention... though even as he told himself this he knew that it would never happen. He was just too lazy to really put too terribly much interest in the world below the sky.***** Gideon flicked his tongue out into the air, catching the scent of a nearby Pokemon. It wasn't what he was looking for, most certainly not a Poison Type, but it had a strange sort of scent about it. He'd say 'Dark Type' but there was the taste of something else to him in the air. What though? Was it... 'Fairy Type'? Were there any Dark Fairies? Hrms... he wasn't sure but he felt as though he should investigate, to see what sort of strange being it was that he was dealing with. Upon catching up though he didn't find something that was new to the area, just... different. Was that a Shiny Zorua? It appeared to be one but it also had wings. Interesting.
Quickening his pace he came to slither alongside the fox, looking him up and down, inspecting him closely, tongue flicking out at him. He was trying to figure out exactly what he was dealing with but had yet to stay anything, instead remaining as quiet as possible when it came to stalking the poor, winged foxy.

(( Temporarily stealing Melo's flash drive to post this up for her while she's offline. BD )) Melomar The glint of sunlight on liquid-filled glass caught the farfetch’d girl’s eye. “What’s this?” she uttered softly as she approached the object and crouched down over it. Scooping scorched earth away from it, she excavated a bottle full of strange glimmering liquid and wiped the moisture-starved dust away as best she could. After the extreme heat of the fires, even the bottle was still warm to the touch and she wondered how it had remained intact. She couldn’t really identify the emotion that welled up as she set it back down on the ground and removed her pack. She looked for contents to safely wrap the bottle up with, and then placed it inside. Then wiped more tears away from her face, only to replace them with smears of dirt and soot. Leaving the burned areas of the mountain forest behind, she carried with her the distinct scent of fire and smudges of char. She didn’t mind it; it only served as a reminder that Rocío’s family and their community had narrowly escaped that horror. For that matter, at least her own family had not been around anymore to suffer from it. It was small consolation, but surely there were others that weren’t so fortunate. She wished she could tell Mariette that they were all safe. Surely she would be relieved to know. Eventually she came to realize that her heading was pulling her away from the mountains and back toward town. She really was not sure why, and was looking up at the angry-looking sky to get her bearings when she heard voices. A moment later someone rammed right into her, knocking her back several steps onto her tail. She glared up with mild annoyance at Fluffernutter, who turned out to be a poké-child of some sort, as she got up and dusted herself off. Before her adventures with Mariette, she would have thought he was one of those pokémon fanciers who liked to cosplay as their pokémon. Ah, another one like me... no, make that two, she thought to herself, taking note of Lightning. She was about to say something more to them when a group of two ( Draven and Brenny) came calling to Fluff from down the road. And another boy, Fei, called to one boy from that group. What a commotion! More traveling companions? And they’re all the same as us. She was both curious and confused, and in the end shrugged off her initial intentions, instead muttering a, “Don’t mention it,” as she brushed past Fluffernutter. Oh well, let them talk with their friends. The maractus interested her more, anyway. “Calanthia? You probably don’t recognize me, but I’m Switch! Do you remember me?” she said, then knelt down by her friend with a grin. She leaned closer and lowered her voice so that Calanthia would hear her without shouting over the others. “The same day we met I found a Star left by Jirachi and woke up looking like this.” She glanced at the new group of people. It was starting to feel uncomfortably crowded. “Anyway, it looks like you guys are busy, but I’m glad I got to see you again and I’m glad you’re safe.” - - - After a detour to Matsutta Village, Havard began his search for Hazan. He carried with him supplies and a cowled cloak to conceal his features. The mask gave the added bonus of smoke filtration and the cloak kept him warm at night. He knew the general location of the shrine and that Hazan would be somewhere near there. Likely he would be safest from Landorus and his counterparts there, but the humans led by Giovanni were the ones he was concerned about. He wanted to fly straight there, but that would not be conducive to concealment. So he took short trips through the air at night, and traveling part of the way on foot during the day. Periodically he appeared in the sky to catch his bearings. On one of those occasions, he saw a red line of fire in the sky. It was traveling upward instead of down and there did not appear to be any other smoke in the vicinity. He concluded that it was likely from a flare gun and its presence indicated that someone was in trouble. Could it possibly be Hazan? It was off-course, so the answer was likely no, but he raced over in that direction anyway. When he reached them, he hovered over the treetops to inspect the situation. Three of Jirachi’s Children, one male and two females, were there. If he wasn’t mistaken, they appeared to be a wigglytuff, a girafarig, and a miltank, respectively. He saw no others in the vicinity, and no obvious signs of danger. His initial reaction was to leave them. But he had more reason to stay and ask some questions. Slowly, he descended to the ground, the cowl concealing most of his features except for the immediately recognizable long, purple tail, and once he landed, the twin bumps on either side of his crown. “Greetings,” he said through the cloth mask, voice low and gravely from disuse. He studied each of them carefully, Shousuke, Willemina, and Bethanne, assessing each of them. They seemed to be fine, if a little frightened. And, with a bitter taste in his mouth, the mewtwo boy realized he was probably the shortest one of them. “I saw your signal flare.” (I hope this is all right. I wanted to ask you directly but as you can see I’m not on to discuss your plans with you. If you do have other plans, maybe this can be a short “hi, have you seen a shiny chikorita?” “no we haven’t seen him,” and “bye” exchange? xD ) - - - Hazan’s trip to the shrine had become a covert operation. His archaeological team of historians, excavators, and restoration specialists had fallen back to discuss what could be done. Would they change their stance to become radical conservationists and activists, and try to undermine Giovanni’s construction teams? Or would they sneak in, steal parts of the shrine, and move them to a new location for restoration? The shiny chikorita was merely a child. He had no say in the matter, even if he wanted to pipe up with some blustering and righteous spiel. In fact, there was a side argument about sending him and the handful of other children home. But there was nowhere safe for anyone, and they could be in even more danger if they went off on their own. The weather was unpredictable and violent. The pokémon whose shrine they were hoping to save could appear at any random time and do harm to the ones that sought to help him. It really was a delicate situation, to say the least. While the adults argued, Hazan wandered off between the tents and into the woods. He sought a clearing not too far away that could catch a nice hour or two of sunlight. When he found it, he sat on a fallen, moss-covered log and sighed, leaning his shoulders and leaf into the sun’s rays. He wished Havard were here. He would know what to do. Maybe. Hazan smirked at that thought and sighed again. There really was no way to contact his friend and tell him he was safe. He wondered what would happen if someone tried to destroy Havard’s home? Would he rampage like the other gods? With this in mind, Hazan thought he could understand Landorus’ anger on some level. And he wished there was some way to tell him that some people were trying to help him. Well, maybe there was a way, but it wouldn’t be found just sitting around. Feeling energized, Hazan hopped away from the log and headed not for camp but toward the shrine.

Llyr was utterly unaware of the fact he was being followed, and for this Ylerian was thankful for all her training, it had helped her to perfect stealth stalking as it was. As Llyr reached the place Phee called home, Ylerian hunkered down in the treeline and watched quietly, large ears able to pick up the conversation with ease. Especially at the voice coming from a short distance away. I hid just in time... was her silent thought. Phee for her part was relieved to see Cecily come running from the forest area, and dropped to her knees as Cecily came into view so she could talk to her easily. This was bound to be one of the most difficult talks she'd ever had in her life to this point! "Cecily, I have to go away for awhile. Something is really wrong..I'm sure you can sense it too. This weather, it isn't natural. I can't stand by and not try to find the source of it. I don't know who could be behind it, but I'm thinking it has to either be people, or another pokemon. Either way...I have to try and fix things."She reached out to hug Cecily. "You can stay in the house while I'm gone, okay? You should be safe in there. Or safer in there than you would be out here in this weird weather. Llyr is going to come with me too, so I won't be traveling alone." Llyr had only heard of Cecily, never met her, and so he gave her a friendly smile, but stayed back letting Phee talk to her. Ylerian looked at the house with interest. If nothing more than that wisp of a girl was going to be staying here, maybe she could take a look around and see what could be of use to her. It wouldn't be hard to get inside and past her she didn't imagine. She snapped out of her musing to keep watching the situation unfolding in front of her, to hear Cecily's reaction to the older girl's words.

“s**t…” Myrrh quietly murmured to herself as she turned off the light and reached for her bag of sleep powder, carefully harvested the night before from her roommate Lilly, as she slept. That was just her initial gut reaction to the approaching guard though; she quickly threw out that plan. She distinctly heard the sound of a walkie talkie, the guard may be the only one approaching their location, but he most likely was not alone; he had to check in at some point. As much as she enjoyed video games, this was not a video game, this was real life. If a guard suddenly goes missing, other guards will check and raise an alarm, and staying out of sight for 30 seconds doesn’t make them lower their guard again. She had to do this carefully. Get him out of the way and back to his post without raising an alert. A wicked grin spread across her face as she quickly formulated a plan. First, she had to take care of something else, though.
In a whisper that would be loud enough for Margarita to hear but not loud enough to alert the guard, especially with his loud steps, Myrrh stated, “Daisy. Guard. Don’t make a sound.” At the last part, she put a single finger up to her lips.
Quietly, she made her way across the room. The flashlight aided her in reading the writing but, as both a dark and a ghost type, she could see quite well in the dark. Honestly, she mostly used the flashlight because it looked cool, made it seem like a proper crime film. As she reached the wall nearest the hallway that the guard was approaching from, she peaked through the closed blinds, seeing him off in the distance. With some concentration, she was able to render her hand ghostly, something that used to be her default state. Her finger tips sticking through and cloaked by shadow, she waited. The guard turned to check the room next to hers, his back turned, she launched a confuse ray.
“Wha?” he stated out loud, at no one in particular. Turning back, without really checking the room, he tripped on his own feet and hurt himself in his confusion.
The guard, now lying prone on the ground, was in no position to notice her. Time to enact phase two. With a flick of her wrist, she launched a watered down ominous wind, not enough to hurt him, but enough to give him a feeling of dread that would combine nicely with his current confusion.
Lying prone on the ground, the guard’s eyes opened in panic. Weren’t there rumors that this place was haunted? There weren’t, but human memory is malleable and in his current state he was combining fragments of memories of supposable haunted locations with memories of his place of employment. If I say it’s a ghost, they will never believe. Hell, I could be fired for a crazy sounding story like that. But that has to be it! Gulping, he slowly sat up and then stood. Technically, he was correct, but not in the manner he believed; there was a ghost type there after all. Taking a moment to regain his composure, he pulled out his walkie talkie. Clicking the button, he stated, “Yeah, nothing up here. It much be a false alarm. We should have the alarm company check the system tomorrow, over.”
“Yeah, I figured it had to be something like that,” a voice replied ,”I mean, who would break into here? Get back down here, over.”
That was all the guard needed, he ran to the stairwell and hurried back to the ground floor, relieved to get out of there.
After he left, Myrrh stated with a grin, “Humans are so easy to manipulate.” Strolling back to her companion, she asked, “The coast is clear, so what did you find?”_____________________________________________________________________________________ Situated behind her new friend, Terra saw the debris ahead of time and easily walked around it. She did pause though and pick up a small piece of wood, buried in the rubble. Despite the current damp weather, it looked like the product of fire. Continuing on, the piece of wood still in her hand, Terra hurried after Calcifer. As the wind picked up, she barely noticed, as she was lost in thought. Her cloak did billow out behind her as they went and stray specks of sand did go flying, but the strange weather was filling her head. Eying the piece of wood in her hand, Terra replied, ‘Yeah, it might. Have you heard of any big fires?” She knew lightning strikes could cause fires, but she had not seen any evidence of it till now. The more she thought about it, the more she wanted to find the source. “But why would we go back? We have to get to the bottom of this, right?”
“Yeah, I think I can feel it,” Terra replied, “It’s kind of like being tugged on by a rope.” She should have been scared. Actually, part of her, deep down inside, was scared, but she failed to notice this part of herself. It wasn’t that she had suddenly gained the brave nature, no, she was just eager to learn the cause of this storm. In her current state, oblivious to her own fear, she actually found the lightning strikes and thunderous roars relaxing, like a pleasant melody. Currently, there was no rain, though it certainly looked like it could come at any moment. While she found the thunder and lightning pleasant, if it started to rain, she would be less pleased; as she had forgotten to bring an umbrella.
As the continued wind picked up, she pulled down her goggles, protecting her eyes. The more she thought about it, the more she was certain it was a legendary pokemon. Some human device wouldn’t pull on her like this, right? Silently, she began to name all the legendary pokemon she could think of. There was Mew, Regice, Registeel, Regirock, Regigigas, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza…wait… could it be them? It wouldn’t be Jirachi or Heatran..or Arceus…. That was the extant of her legendary knowledge. “Do you think it could be Kyogre and Groudon fighting, Calcifer?” _____________________________________________________________________ “I…I have no idea where we are,” Holly stammered. She had done a lot of traveling, though this was her first flood based trip, and she didn’t recognize this place at all “I think we went downriver? But the water got so high…..and I am pretty sure the river forks in a few spots…so I, well, I have no idea where we are…..But I think I said that already.” Looking around, she added, “It could be west…or east.. Yeah I’m not helping am I? But with all these clouds…I can’t even see the sun… If we could see that, we could at least figure out which directions were which.” When she got out of this, she decided that she would have to get a compass. With that she would have been able to at least figure out which direction is which. While she could still tell it was daytime, it was practically dark enough to be night.
“Yeah, I can’t quite place it,” Holly stated, “but it does feel weird….Really weird…” She did not know what it was, but it felt angry and powerful and it felt like it was all around them. Laughing nervously, she added, “At least the storm doesn’t seem as bad here, right?” As if to punctuate her statement, a flash of lightning seemed to occur directly overhead.
Suddenly, she had a very strong urge to go elsewhere. Scanning the horizon, she saw nothing. With nothing to go on, she felt their best option was to get away from the river. She had no idea if another flood would come, but, if it did, she thought it would be best if they were far away. “How about we go that way?” the piplup girl asked as she pointed away from the river. “Also,” she asked, as she sniffed at the air, “Do you smell something? It smells like a campfire.”

Loki struggled against the mud, his boots only seeming to go deeper and deeper in, until he felt his body being tugged upwards. Turquoise eyes shot forwards and spotted Ialu standing close by, to which he smiled. He felt familiar... But he wasn't sure from where.
"Thank you, that was a pretty steep puddle!" He exclaimed, running his fingers against his hair. "I can't believe what's going on with this weather... It's absolute madness!"
He hobbled towards the trees, the mud upon his feet causing him to be relatively off balance, and stuck his head out. He could just about see Bellatrix and Reshi... But... Why were they kneeling down?
"Bellatrix!" He shouted, lumbering forward. "Is Reshi having another asthma attack? This weather must be messing him up!"--- Bellatrix turned her head back towards where Loki was yelling and nodded her head in a frenzied manner. Reshi had started to cough and wheeze from the panic that the fall of the castle had caused, and all she could think to do was lay him down on a patch of sand that wasn't covered in glass. Watching the young boy thrash against his illness made her feel sick herself, as well as utterly helpless. What could she do? She wasn't a doctor!
"Loki! Melt some ice!" She shouted. "He needs water! Or, no, air? I DON'T KNOW! I'm not good at this!"--- As Bellatrix fussed and cried above him, Reshi twisted and wriggled against his furious coughs. This stupid weather was going to kill him! His chest ached, his heart was pounding, and he was running out of air! He thrashed himself into a sitting position and forced himself to inhale, his lungs crackling at the sharpness of the air. Suddenly, as he sat still, he felt a strange sensation.
Balance... It's been disrupted...
He gagged and forced more air into his lungs, an unfamiliar heat filling his chest.
What an overreaction, this weather... Making such a fuss over nothing...
All at once, he stood, and let out a blaring scream, a burst of fire spewing from his mouth. He coughed, wandered forward, and stared up towards the sky.
"Calm down! You're going to kill us all!" He screamed. "It isn't our fault!"The scream from Reshi is answered by a sudden loud rumble of thunder almost directly over head, as if the sky were yelling back at him, lighting lighting up the dark clouds that were filling the sky.Orpheus Solon Just in case Ialu wants to react to any of this!

Fei groaned and looked around himself. Lost and alone. It was a feeling that he was getting rather sick of. So he was excited by the idea of getting to spend some time with Brenny. At least he wouldn't be alone now. Anxiously he noticed that the group was actually larger than he'd expected at first. He shrank in on himself a bit. "H..Hello..." He'd never been one for crowds, but crowds meant people and people meant no loneliness. He waited patiently for someone to start making introductions. Surrounded by so many others he could feel the familiar tug starting back up. He tilted his head to himself and flashed a triumphant smile to no one in particular. He'd been correct then, there was something big afoot. He moved closer to Brenny and smiled happily. "Nice to see you again. Do you remember me?"
[ack. Shitty short post. I apologize for the hold up. Been a busy few days.]

Margarita's fingers were still attempting to hook over the top of the filing cabinet door to open it, overlooking the obvious handle that jutted out the front, when the terse order was given to put on her best stealth impression. Fussing with the door ceased as a less-than-professional squeak popped out of the grimer's mouth, still quiet in volume control but more attuned to a child playing a game of cops and robbers. Or super spies, as she was prone to thinking herself under the tutelage of. Retracting her hands and wrapping them around her waist, she ducked out of view, staring down the metallic drawers before her. Oooh, this was really turning out to be immersive! It was just too bad that the young grimer was so far back in the room, or she might be able to help with something less noisy, but hiding behind stacks of records she was staying. Myrrh knew how to handle these better anyway, even Paprika agreed to that from the confines of the banded girl's pocket; Margarita was more the... trainee. At least she was getting better at it! See? No battle cry and launching of paperweights this time! As the guard seemed to be contacting his fellow employees about a false alarm, Margarita began looking around the room for where they may have tripped such a thing. Was it an invisible light sensor? Motion sensor? She didn't see anything, maybe it wasn't even in this room... but then, she wasn't entirely sure how they looked, so even that round mirror in the corner of the outer hallway might have been it, for all she knew. Turning back to the drawers, she jumped upon realizing what the small notched ledge in the front of each square face was. Just in time, too, for it was about then that Myrrh appeared beside the grimer. Jumping to her feet, she pulled the one out marked for the current and previous months, "The files, these are the most recent ones. We're sure to find it in here!" Whatever 'it' was; she still wasn't entirely sure. Luckily, she didn't really need to know, for as violet eyes scanned the individually marked files, there was one that stood out. It looked... different, as though not filed by the same person as all its surrounding brethren. Pulling it up and out from its paper sandwich, she showed it to Myrrh, though it was mostly out of an attempt to give her an example of what she meant. She had no idea that she had just found what they were looking for. "See, see?" she prodded, hoping she did good. * * * Calcifer had not been on the up-and-up when it came to the strange weather predicaments. Truthfully, she thought it had just been a case of a strange, clashing time of the season, not something to get too worried about. The more she heard about what was going on across the face of Gaia, the more she thought about the patterns she had been seeing, and the more worrisome they sounded overall. By the time she and Terra were out here, on their way toward what felt like the source of the problem, it had become abundantly clear that it was not a natural occurrence. She grabbed hold of a rather dead-looking tree, sturdy despite all appearances, steadying herself against any other gusts of wind should they decide to power past as she turned to face Terra. "I haven't heard of any aside from what was on the news today, but it looks like you've found evidence of some," she noted, golden eyes grazing the charred plank of wood in the burmy's hands, "I only suggested going back because I don't know how dangerous it's going to get. We might have to. I mean... what can the two of us do, if it's something really big?" The hybrid girl was still very much unaware of any others heading in this direction -- most seemed to want to keep their distance from trouble, after all! Was it something that was really worth getting killed over, if the possibility arose? They wouldn't know until they checked it out, though... The fire slug grinned as Terra confirmed that she was feeling the same thing as Calcifer, glad it wasn't just some weird intuition that only she was feeling. It's not like she was a psychic type, after all, so it was more than a little bizarre and unnerving. At this rate, at least the two girls were on the same page. She hopped over another pile of debris, ignoring the instability. "It's very possible it's Kyogre and Groudon. Rayquaza, too, with all this weird weather. Don't know why they're suddenly acting up if that's the case, though..." she mulled the thought over in her head. The weather trio... they were certainly prime suspects in Calcifer's mind! The place was stifling with the smell of charred firewood, but the wind was working to wipe it from the vicinity every chance it blew. It was due to this that, once the wind ushered in a stronger taste of smoke after a flash of light, Calcifer jumped at the sudden spectrum flop in intensity. Her steps halted immediately as she scanned the area for where it may have come from, locating the beginnings of billowing black smoke a short distance away, encompassed in the forest that was just to their side. "Big fires... You were saying?" she jabbed with a grimace, thrusting a thumb in its direction, "Come on, maybe we can do something about that before it actually gets big." Before she was even completely finished with the suggestion, she was bounding off after it. * * * Cardice continued glancing around the area under the brim of Holly's hat, vision partially obscured by the moist tufts but reluctant to remedy the problem; he felt safer under here! << W-Well, I live in the east part of the m-mountain range,>> he noted, tail clinging to the back of Holly's head to secure his balance better, << I d-don't recognize this...>> That wasn't to say that it couldn't be east, for he hadn't yet explored the entire length of the area, but they weren't anywhere near where he had. He wasn't going to be able to find out where they were if he was going to keep hiding, though. If there was something weird about this place, then the skittish helioptile was all for finding out why. He was a very curious individual, after all, and his interest had been piqued. However, just as he was about to crawl out from under Holly's hat, the lightning tore a sloppy gash through the sky above. His little clawed feet weren't going to release their strangle hold on the edges of that hat anytime soon, wrapping himself up like a bundled cocoon. In fact, he did so quite effectively; Cardice couldn't hear the majority of what his perch was saying until he pulled his ears free of the cap's encasings. It wasn't that the lightning itself scared the lightning-type pokémon -- he was more immune to it than most -- but its sudden appearance, as though on cue, was quite startling. It wasn't until his own nose caught the whiff of Holly's indicated 'campfire' did he unearth himself from the hat with a start, << Aaah! Holly, that's a fire!>> There was no denying the fact that it was likely started from that lightning strike, but it still seemed ironic coming after their escape from a swift current. Irritably, Cardice grabbed hold of the hat before it fell, from his quick emergence outside of it, grumbling, << What next...>> The small reptile glanced around, surveying the bare minimum of details in quick effort, << I think if we stay by the river, we should be fine. The, uh... other side of the river than the fire.>> He glanced over to where smoke was now making its appearance, worried, << You... y-you know water moves, don't you?>> They might come in useful reeeal soon... As Cardice survey's the surroundings along the river, something can be seen barely catching the light half buried in the silt and such along the river. Once unearthed it will be discovered it's a potion bottle! In the main thread please RNG 1-3, to see which potion type is found, then RNG the proper number from the associated list to see which was found. Please address this in your next post.

The male walked on...pausing only once to glance behind him. He shrugged. Then looked up at the skies... "Would they just stop with the tantrum already. Its getting old." he grumbled before walking onward. Orpheus Solon Yay~! Sorry its late and this is all i had XD It seems someone is not thrilled with the grumbles being addressed to the sky, and a menacing laugh can be heard as a large gust of wind kicks up suddenly, whipping leaves and dirt around in a small cyclone. Could that have been Tornadus!?

Tryce’s ears twitched in surprise as a brilliant light streamed out above his group of three. Who in the world was setting off something like that here? Raxka ‘s light touch to his shoulder grabbed his attention as she pulled alongside of him, “That seemed rather bold. Do you think we should…?”
Already the shiny umbreon was heading in the direction of the flare and the twins found themselves racing after his long gait. “Shou.” Ignoring everyone else that was gathered in the area Tryce immediately moved to the other poke-human’s side, “Do you normally enjoy lighting up a forest like that?” Even though his expression was humorous Tryce’s pose was one of defense. He might have seemed light hearted about it but his body had tensed as soon as he saw a stranger around one of his closest friends.
Raxka’s gaze went to the miltank instead with surprise, “Beth…darling…what are you doing out here like this?”
Raiden had felt himself tense up as well. Even running after Tryce had gotten his body ready for a fight. After all such a loud explosion could have easily been a trap, but now that he saw the three responsible for it he just sighed. Leave it to Beth to have a flare out here. His hand stayed on his katana as he looked from the three familiar faces towards the stranger’s, “Are you investigating this weirdness as well?”
As if in reply the sky lit up with a brilliant streak of lightning overhead.

The weather had changed countless times as they walked down the mountain, from where Escher and the boys called home. Neither had seen the likes of this in their long years. The various changes had ended up pushing them this way and that, whether it be the winds bullying their small forms one way, or fires preventing them from going another. The whole trek was slow going and it was times like these that they both wished they'd stayed in their original forms. These bodies were so small and frail; half the time, Escher thought his powers would tear the little shell to pieces. "I don't understand," Venka remarked after a blizzard rolled through for a brief moment. She had kept them shielded from the worst of it with her fiery psychic powers, as Escher was still weak (though he would not admit it). "Vhy are they taking it out on the vhole vorld?" Escher shook his head as the sun came out again and the air became hot and muggy. " I can only speculate, my dear." A shiver went up both their spines. The constant temperature change was something else to contend with. It would most likely make those Pokemon with a weaker constitution quite sick. The thought made Venka visibly frown. The sooner they got everything fixed, the better. Just as they'd made their last step off the mountain and onto level ground, a lightning bolt struck close by, instantly starting a fire. The bolt, plus the thunderclap and the flames caused them both to jump. The fire was spreading quickly and they both ran towards a stream, that now looked like a river from the flooding. As they neared the water, they could hear voices, but couldn't quite make out what was being said. At the edge of the swift-moving river, they could see a small figure on the other side. "Greetings!" Escher bellowed and waved to the young... Poke-child, he thought. "I say, hello! Do you know away across?" ~*~ Jor blinked and spun in the air as a long, green line came floating towards him. As it got closer, he could make out that it was his brother, Nidhogg. "Speak of the devil," he thought to himself. "Come to watch the festivities, have you?" Jor smirked as the other Rayquaza came within earshot, "You've slept through most of it, brother. I dare say it's all rather blasé now." He made a gesture to the ground below as it heaved and rocks came jutting out of the ground, a thoroughly bored expression on his face. It was far from boring, at least for those that weren't a safe distance from the mayhem. In fact, it was quite terrifying. But Jor didn't concern himself with such petty things. "Or did all screaming of the panicked humans wake you from you nap?" Jor teased his brother. He could not understand how or why he slept so much. Cornetified Mewmouse used Baton Pass!
