He was about to reply when a passing Hunter showed up looking over his shoulder at the hallway he'd just come out of, and Taym, instincts triggered, loped down to the intersection to peer down it. For answer to Shu's question he motioned her near, pointing. "That yours?" he asked quietly, indicating the hovering minipet. His voice was flat, unimpressed. The minipet looked very familiar and its sneering expression even more so. Possibly all it needed was a tiny gun, he thought grimly, with which to shoot him in the shoulder and leave him to bleed to death all over the hallway. If these things were spawned by human fear, no wonder one should take on the shape of the Death lead. "Do you think you can coax it down or do we need to catch it? Don't glomp," he added. "Steady."

Same as Taym, she was waiting for his reply, but instead of answering, he oddly went to a corner and seemed to be seeing something. Shu was so puzzled that she tilted her head like a birdie and trotted towards him like a puppy as he called. "What Mr?" She looked at where he was pointing and there was a floating minipet eye-squinting at the hunters on the hallway. "O.M.G." She opened her mouth widely, it was there! They found him! "Yes, that should be him!" Maybe she was a bit too happy that her voice was a bit loud. As a result, the minipet noticed them and shot each of them a deadly glare, as if they were destroying the discipline. The unimpressed look of Taym might irritate him that he grabbed the flying companion with the hand not holding the notebook and shot towards the hunter. The petite huntress would only watch but shocked to do anything, not even an apology. A while later, she answered at his earlier question, "I-I can try, I have some candies." but still couldn't respond to what her minipet did.

Taym was distracted from answering by flailing with a lack of dignity at the flying assault. He looked like a man who'd just walked face-first into a spiderweb. "For ******** sake," he hissed. "I don't suppose you have any tiny bagels or miniature mission reports instead."

While the little eyeball slowly flew back to the treat in a drunken dizzied manner, the floating minipet was still stared at the two. The rest of the passer-by felt like freed butterflies. Shu gingerly asked Taym about the items he listed, not sure what they do with her pet. "I-I thought they can eat only fear candies? B-Bagels....is that those look like donuts? Sorry Mr., I don't have those, I just got -" She grabbed a small bunch out, "these candies......" As the hunter spoke the "f" word, there was another "Mind your language, rubbish." look from the minipet, maybe he was thinking to . Shu raised up her hands with the candies, tiptoed and maybe random jumping to draw his attention. "I-I have some treats here, please come down or-or-or you will melt soon...." The so-called coaxing began.

Taym let Shu work her magic (he hoped) with the power of FEAR candy, and quietly circled around--catlike in his stealth--behind the floating treat while its attention was engaged, probably in giving Shu disgusted, scoffing looks. Whatever: distraction was distraction, and he'd take it. He shrugged out of his coat as he went, and then held it between his hands like a net. If the candy didn't work, he would throw the coat over it, he figured, and the thought of neatly bagging up a tiny Caelius clone was enormously appealing. He waited, ready to spring at a moment's notice, and absently gave Shu a thumb's up over the top of the coat.

The treat stared and stared at the stupid girl who chirped annoyingly like a birdie that he would like to shoot with a gun. As Taym thought, his attention was fully focus on Shu, who already being shot million times in his mind, sadly he didn't get a gun. Couldn't bear it any longer, he grabbed the eyeball and threw again, it hit straightly the girl's forehead. The girl fell back and rubbed her forehead which was a bit redden, eyes widened in confusion. "D-Did I do anything wrong? Or you don't like me? ;A;" Her tone was a bit sad but she still tried to talk to the treat that she liked so much. "W-We can find you another owner if you don't like me....." She lowered her head. "But you have to get back in the cage first or you will melt, I am not joking." She looked up again very sincerely. Luckily Taym got a plan B.

Taym very nearly ruined it all by laughing when the treat donked Shu on the forehead with the floating eyeball, but kept his composure (although he grinned, widely, because he couldn't help it) and as the thing was distracted, seized the moment to toss the coat up and over the treat, immediately yanking down and balling up the jacket in an attempt to capture the thing inside. This was something like holding a sack full of cat, and Taym was acutely aware that he must look a right idiot wrestling with a balled-up coat, but he made a triumphant sort of noise anyway. "I vote," he said, holding the thrashing sack aloft, "that we go into a small room and lock the door before we try and take him out, so as to avoid a second mishap."

Luckily, Shu was too busy to know he was laughing. The treat struggled in the coat, unlike the original, it was just a little minipet. It may resemble some features of the fearful Division Lead, but it was still a minipet, it had some incapabilities, that's why it was caught. Shu was shocked by the hunter's swift and quick action, it was just like a blink, and he already did it. With her mouth opened, the girl looked at the sack and clapped her hands like a monkey clapping toy (but much less creepy). "Y-You-You did it Mr! You did it!" She pushed herself up with one foot, arm widely opened for a glompy hug and then shortly halted in an awkward manner. "No glomping, I remember." There might be a light blush on her face for the moment that she actually forgot that, habit is calld a habit because it's hard to change. "T-That sounds great" The girl commented, still couldn't fully recovered from the shock. "Please don't struggle, you will get hurt." She bent and said to the bag of treat. Although the petite trainee was quite embarrassed by his words, she helped by finding a room. "Is this room good enough?"

"Fine by me," he said, half-following her in and half-shooing her in front of him, closing the door with his heel. He eyed the coat warily. "How do we wanna do this? You want to try and pick him up or do you want me to just sorta--shake him out into the box?" And then he started laughing, very suddenly, and his laugh was silent. "God. I had a cat once we tried to get into the carrier and it clamped down on the edges with all four feet and yowled like a demon and I can't--picture a little Caelius clone--"

A wave of hooray could be heard before Taym kicked the door closed. Shu was stupid, and a stupid girl couldn't decide which would be the better way. Luckily, he didn't stop at that. Shu let out a breathe, "oh were you bringing it to an injection? That sounds like a funny image, sorry." The petite girl couldn't stop gigging at the picture she imagined in mind. She stared at the coat and asked some shu's style questions. "But my treat has short limbs, can they do that?" She totally got the wrong direction. Back to the topic of getting the caught little into the carrier, the trainee was thinking only if it wasn't her treat, she may shake the bag of coat vigorously first, making sure the minipet is dizzied before tossing it into the carrier with ease. But it was her pet. That was the main problem, she had to treat it with love and care, not violence. Quote: 1: Shu pick <-- DICE PICKS THIS, GOOD LUCK SHU 2: Taym shake "I-I will try to pick him up. Just-Just please instruct me how to do it." She had a rabbit before, but a cat was a very different thing, not to mention the pygmy treat which had a pair of wings. Shu needed instructions, Mr. If Plan A didn't work, they still have plan B. Meanwhile, there were some nosy hunters who had nothing to do (they should be fired) placed their ears onto the door of the room they were in.

He gave her a withering look, irritable, but said nothing, instead shifting the bag around in his hands to attempt to figure out which end of the treat-shaped lump was the front and which was the back. "I don't ********' know," he said exasperatedly. "I mean I guess you'd... do it like a cat." He wished he'd thought to ask America whether a treat could be scruffed. He'd never even tried it with the kittens. "I guess." He took a deep breath, clearly readying himself for action. Apparently this was something he needed to be hyped up for. "Grab him by the back of the neck with one hand and use the other one to pin his back feet together," he suggested, with another vaguely-hysterical laugh. "And if that doesn't work, I've got nothing. Ready? One, two--" Another deep breath. He gingerly put the suddenly, ominously-still bag down on the middle of a desk, and in a series of incredibly swift movements opened it, pinned the treat down to the desk with one hand, and with the other just barely snatched the eyeball out of the air when it made a break for it. If he had read Harry Potter more religiously he would have made a Snitch joke, but he hadn't.

Shu was usually observant, that was how she saw the possibility of the sweets ship. However, sometimes, she forgot her stupidity. When the two mixed together, it only gave adverse effect. That maybe why she asked something offensive. And then he was swearing again, luckily Z did it a lot and she was getting used of it. If not, she may choose to stay away because that reminded her of some bad people from the past. From her weapon, she learned that it might be a way to express a strong emotion only. "Oh...I see." The instruction Taym provided was clear and simple, grab its neck and support it by weight to lift it up, but the confusion was still there. Where's the neck? What if she hurt it? But she opted for not asking further questions, after realizing how annoyed the hunter was. The expression on his face wasn't rare, in her homeland, people especially her father did it all the time, like she was a big trouble. She hurt, but pretended to ignore. So she didn't say anything but a sincere nod to show that she was listening. She watched, she just watched as he did his thing in the speed of light and nearly dropped her jaw. If she was the clumsy maid in a cafe that often dropped dishes, glasses and plates by tripping over flat surface , then Taym will be the one who held his utensils neatly and stable, and maybe shortly pick up what she drop before they break on the ground. As a little girl, she was one of those charmed by the magic of the Harry Potter world, so if she knew what Taym was thinking, she might already speak out "150 points for Ravenclaw!" That's maybe why she dreamed of being a sweets witch when she drank the bottle later. When the girl maybe shocked maybe daydreaming, the eyeball struggled very vigorously under the hunter's grasp, like a chicken got grabbed by neck. It was never Circe or close to that insidious weapon, it was just a replica, a tiny harmless pity that got thrown as weapon all the time. If it was a patient, no doubt its problem would be the headache. Unfortunately, it can't yell or make any sound besides buzzes, alas. On the other hand, the treat pinned and squished against a table growled. It sounded like swears and commands but it was not from a certain fearful Lead. They were just dealing with a small harmless minipet that gave you chills and deadly glares luckily. Its wings fanned like two sharp blades trying to cut into Taym's wrist. It was fully offended with the touch and improper treatment. If it was the Red Queen from the Wonderland series and with a minipet translator, you might hear it yelling "Off his head!" Instead, the two just heard some light pitch (attempted to be low) growls resembled that of a angry non-threatening kitten. Maybe it take reference from the younger year of the Lead, who knows. Shu approached, rather nervous and hands sweating. Her hand touched the minipet but flinched when it struggled, after a few attempts, she finally grabbed the so-called neck part of the treat and ready to support its weight but she screwed up with her clumsiness. Like the dishes, it butt slid out of her tiny hand and just hanged by the neck. It moaned in reaction out of the sudden pain which drove the girl to release the grasp unconsciously. Mission failed. The girl didn't know when it went wrong and made a sad helpless face to the hunter, asking for help. Rejam Or this which is more accurate @ face but omg heart-breaking orzlll

He didn't even have time to make an irritated face at her. In exactly the way the waiter in her daydream had caught her falling dishes, Taym moved swiftly and capably, and suddenly, without really knowing how exactly, found himself with a handful of angry, spitting treat, the eyeball clamped down to its furry little sides. It hadn't even had time to make a real break for it. He paused, drawing in a deep breath as he eyed the carrier, but there wasn't any time to think about it. Ungently--he didn't want to hurt it but he also lacked Shu's scruples about being overly kind to it--he shoved the treat into the carrier. It took both hands and a few tense seconds of violent struggling, but the door snapped to and the treat was safely on the other side of it, giving Taym and Shu alike a baleful stare that suggested it would be decapitating them both with a tiny, tiny scythe if it had its way. Equally balefully, Taym examined the tiny claw and teeth marks now adorning his hands, although the long sleeves had soaked up the worst of it. This was, he thought, another reason not to go with the sleeveless trend (aside from the fact that he looked a goddamned idiot in it) no matter how overbearingly hot the Island sometimes was. Picking distractedly at a clawed-off, hanging bit of skin--small; no more terrible than a hangnail, really--he informed Shu: "You have your ******** hands full with that one, sweetheart."

Anyone can tell her when she can be that awesome? The job that she failed was done with just the time of a blink, and her minipets (counting the eyeball) were under his claws. She felt like seeing a black panther hunting its prey -yes- like the documentary, the girl had to rub her eyes to make sure it was the reality. Rub, check, rub and check one more time. Ok, that's a hunter, not a standing panther. Shu moved closely, but made sure she won't block what Taym was doing, it needed a high amount of concentration to deal with such a creature. She suddenly recalled in the wonderland, her waifu made the comment of he likes to sneak off. The petite Asian looked at the treat tussling and tried to make a equation from that: Mission reporter puppet + loves to sneak off = Her treat + loves to escape. It seemed correct. She watched closely how the hunter fought to shove the treat into the carrier, without love. Shu was making some nervous worried face behind the tall hunter and occasionally jumped to check the progress, she could hear the angry growls of her pet and the tiny claws that grabbed onto his skin. Shu, more than one time, wanted to say "Please be gentle~" but she suppressed it to avoid any distraction which might make any success aborted. So if there was a camera, one could see she making awkward gestures behind, paused and reached out and repeated. Until the sound of door slamming was heard, the girl signed deeply in relief, like putting a heavy stone down and felt free like a bird. "Oh my hero!" She said without much thinking, probably picking up one of the lines from some animes or cartoons. She bowed and then made sure the lock was secured, before putting the carrier up to the table to check if the treat was hurt accidentally. Luckily, it was just growling and flying low inside, very energetic to express his hatred towards the hunter for his insolence. Shu would take millions of picture of the little thing if the eyeball can really turn into a tiny scythe, she was, unexplained, crazily attracted by the Death Lead. Yet, minipet was such a mysterious existence, same for the Halloween world, no one really could tell if it's impossible. After getting the treat, one thing for sure was that the girl was very interested in knowing or even studying more about minipet. "Don't be so sulky, are you hungry?" After chatting with the minipet one-sided, she noticed the wounds on Taym's hands when he talked. "Oh my my my my! I am really sorry! Are you okay? Thanks a lot for the help but - oh no it's bleeding - I am sorry! So sorry!" She was so panic and had her hands flailing when the scratch marks and bites with tiny amount of blood immersing out. The Nian annoyed by all the bubbling from her mind stopped her. She put down the carrier on the table, making sure again the lock was fine, and one hand put into her pocket fiddling. Another hand tugged Taym's wrist closer rather carelessly and said with a worried frown. "Treat these as temporary remedy. I am sorry I don't have any runic band-aid on hand..." She placed some normal band-aid, two or three onto the more serious wounds. It was a very fortunate thing that the girl just used up her band-aid with cute bunny head pattern on them, so it's just dessert - some lovable cupcakes in blue and pink, alas.
Moreover, it seemed like if he rejected her kindness, she might cry again because of the uselessness.

Luckily for Shu he submitted after a split second of tensing at being unexpectedly touched. He made no comment about the adorable band-aids, nor about any claims to heroism. Instead he pointed out, but mildly, no longer nearly as irritable as he'd been a moment before: "You haven't been here long, have you? Little scratch like that'll be gone in under an hour, probably. It's no big deal, sweetheart. Maybe next time you want to play with it," he added, gesturing with his elbow at the carrier, "you should lock the door of your room first. And put on gloves. I'm sure it'll warm up to you," he finished skeptically. "Just give it time."
