Nanami flicks her katana up with her thumb, and silently grasps the handle with her other hand. 'That..... thing, is our client?' (holds back groan of frustration)
Nanami growls, and speeds toward the unsuspecting puma swiftly. 'Leave the gaki be, puma. Fight someone your own size.'
*slash slash*
(Standing with back to squad)
"Haruka Nanami, reporting. I assume you are my client." she says tersely, only sparing a look at the client to see he isn't physically hurt, and glancing back at the kunoichi behind her, eyes searching, as if asking for a plan of action. The boy seems to be hurt badly, but Nanami isn't stupid enough to order others around when she has just arrived.
"b*****d Tsuchikage," Nanami murmurs to herself quietly as she tenses for the Puma's retaliation.

 The next few things happen too quickly for him to react. Before he can register what's going on, there's a loud
WHOOOOOOOOOOSH!
And he's hurtling towards the ground, a burning pain in his chest.
His vision settles and he comes face to face with a huge puma that's holding him by the neck. Fudou doesn't even hesitate. Operating by instinct he shoves and hits the puma's head, trying to get it to let go.
When the puma's jaws open just a little, he's on his feet in an instant, backtracking where he's most comfortable: right behind the frontlines. Behind Koda and a new Iwa shinobi.
Good, there's another ally.
He puts one hand on his chest to assess the damage.
It stings a little, but blood isn't pouring out. It probably looks a lot worse than it is. He smirks. What I get for lagging behind, I guess.
Fudou takes a moment to catch his breath and analyse what he's missed.

 [Handle Animal] [36/30] [FAIL] [Handle Animal] [37/30] 3/3 Successes, Puma is scared off.] Kiwa continued to approach the Puma, arms held high as she screamed louder and louder. "RRRRAAAAAA RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAA GRRRRRRRRAA GET! GET!"She increased the volume slightly and tried again. "RRRRRRAAAWWWWWR!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! RA! RRRRA!"She could see that it was starting to work.

Locking eyes with Kiwi, the puma lets go of Fudou's neck with its head low, indicating a retreat position. Grrrrrrrrrrr........It swipes the air twice before finally turning around to flee in the bushes. Run away:1st roll: d20 [14] + Athletics [10] : 24 2nd roll: 1st roll [24] + d20 [08] + Athletics [10] : 42 units away ((If anyone wishes to pursue...))

 The client is still on his butt on the ground.His legs trembling, he clumsily gets up on his feet, clearly attempting to hide the fact he was and still is terrified.G... good thing you scared it off! I didn't want to have to hurt it!He turns to Fudou with an uncomfortable smile as he looks at the boy's chest.Are you alright kid? That thing was all over you as if you were made of catnip!He reaches in his pack and hands Fudou a sheet of paper.Just sign this to let us know you're ok. I... it's just a blank sheet of paper I always keep for situations like this!Even quick inspection is enough to see this is a waver of renounciation to sue...

"I apologize. My mission was delivered late."
She gives no other explanation or words of comfort but you can tell she is worried for her teammate.
'Hopefully someone here knows first aid. I should have learned that medical ninjutsu..
(wipes her katana and slides it back in the sheath).
Nanami is surprised when the client speaks, but then shakes her head minutely. Blank sheet of paper indeed.
*rustle*
"You'll have no problem with me signing this, then." she says casually, glancing at the contents before asking the client for something to sign with. "Well?"
(Sorry, I still can't get used to this manga style thing Dx I'll try harder @_@)

Someone so small managed to scare off that huge beast. And here I thought she was just a fighter...
When the client finally recovers his capacity for speech, Fudou turns,
"I'm fine, thanks for your concern. It's my job after all."
He glances at the paper before taking it.
"Don't worry about me, but thanks for this. Just what I needed." And with that the piece of paper is wadded up and pressure applied on one of his bigger scratches to mop up the blood.
Fudou turns to Nanami.
"It was good that you arrived when you did. I'm Fudou."

'Mou.. nice one, gaki.' She also spares a glance at the kunoichi next to her, who'd managed to chase away the puma. 'Impressive.' she thinks, before blinking and turning at being addressed.
"Aa.. It was nothing." she replies shortly, nodding to Fudou's reply, and though her expression doesn't change, Nanami's face reddens slightly as she glances away.

The client jumps as soon as he ears the possibility of the client coming back.No point in staying around here then! Let's just move on!The client starts subtlely jogging ahead.Walking pace, next possible encounter after 50 paces (now at 100/300 to Kokoyaahi village)

 The reason I was attacked was because I split away from the group in the first place...
Fudou quickens his pace to keep up with the client.
"Shall one of you go ahead of the client, and one behind? Since you both look like close-range fighters. I'll be able to provide support from the inside."
Well, it'd be a lot better if the attackers are human...
