i think that allana/john would have been the best if they could have been a couple and still worked together like they had when they were friends. One of the things i really wanted that would have come from their pairing was equalness. If Alana was queen Jon wouldn't be able to order her aroud, he would have to persuaide (oh horrible spelling) her. Like when she left in Kels books. I dont like that he is King and she is knight, they should be equal.

I was kinda dissapointed when I first read about Jon and Alanna breaking up, I liked them. But in hindsight I think Alanna and George are way better together, plus we get Aly Yah!

I never quite liked the idea of Alanna and Jon, cos she doesn't really suit the role of a queen. I kinda liked Liam Alanna, if he he'd been less scared of her. But George Alanna turned out really well, and it's really sweet!

George totally deserved to be with Alanna. He loved her from the beginning, and waited for her despite the fact that she didn't share his feelings yet. Jon was awesome (I loved him, too) but he kind of turned into an a**. I didn't like the way he started treating her, and George had always been good to Alanna. I would love to have a guy like George; he's funny, sweet, tough, and he'll let you be you. He accepted everything about Alanna, whereas Jon became too possessive and took her for granted.
Liam and Alanna could have never worked. They were both too proud, and their personalities clashed. The way he treated her when she used her magic really made me mad; he acted like she didn't do her fair share of the work, despite the fact that her magic helped them in many ways. Being scared of something doesn't give you the right to be rude to people that have it/use it/like it, etc. He was so rude and self-absorbed sometimes, and most of the time I didn't like him. However, I was still sad when he died. crying

i dont mean to be rude but why does everyone(ok not everyone but many peple) want alanna with jon(or liam) if she didnt marry george aly would cease to be and she is so cool!

Alanna and George are PERFECT together! They were meant to be for sure. Jonathon's kingship wouldn't have been right for Alanna, and Liam was afraid of her magic. George always liked her, and pledged his love to her. They were totally for each other.

George, hands down, she was meant to be with him, the only one who can live through her temper... even Jon had trouble with it...

I belive Alanna and George are the best. This is because George just lets her know that he's there for her and doesn't rush her. Jon forces her with the love and it works better out that they are just friends. Liam, however, wouldn't work out mostly because of his fear of magic.

Definatley George and Alanna because Johnathan was kind of a jerk when he was with her and Liam was too afriad of her magic

Definately. Jon is too kingly for Alanna. And Liam was touchy and afraid of her magic. George love every little part of her, good and bad, and could calm her temper instead of add fuel to the fire. Her and George just get along better. They've never gotten into a fight (that we know of). I love George!!!! heart

x.X.Innocent Passion.X.x I totally agree. Jon and Alanna would've never worked out. Alanna would've felt trapped and very uncomfortable as queen, and since Liam was so scared of her magic, I'm surprised something happened between them at all!!! But George is such a nice, funny guy, he's perfect for Alanna!!!! xd I like their children..... can you imagine what Alanna and Jon's kids would be like... An can you imagine Alanna as queen?? Oh that would be a disaster... lol... Alanna made the right choice by choosing George... Jon is too much of a git... Jon and Alanna would have killed each other within the first month or so....

I've always been a fan of Alanna and George, ever since that time in In the Hand of the Goddess when he kisses her because her hands are full.
I just think George is very sweet, and treats Alanna like a friend and an equal as well as a lover.
I always got the impression that Jon and Liam both thought themselves above Alanna. Liam thought he could control her, and scolded her as if she were a child at times, and Jon treated her as a means of espcaing the typical palace life. George and Alanna was by far the best outcome.
