Darius ran and ran for the Hall of Justice. He felt an urge, like he just had to be at the Hall of Justice, as he neared it, he quickly pulled open the door and burst inside, and of course there stood his comrades, standing in the hall. "So why wasn't I invited to this shindig?" Darius asked jokingly Allies: || Enemies: || Thoughts:

How did she know of Diana? Did she know what happened and why his sister had disappeared? No matter, he could ask as many questions at a later time. Not having answers to any of her last questions, he turned to follow both Superboy and Green Arrow into the abandoned Hall of Justice. A white haired male stood over another male's body with a crow perched in the background. But, what confused him most was the nature of the male, and why he had been in the Hall to begin with. Then, there was something that just seemed, off about the male. Standing besides the two males he prepared to speak, only to have a gust of wind move through the Hall thanks to their resident speedster. Seeing as the Flash had not specified who he was talking to, Wonder Boy paid more attention to the white haired male before them. "If I may, who exactly are you, and what happened to him?" questioned Wonder Boy before looking down to the seemingly unconscious male on the ground. It would be easy to say that the white haired male had done something to the one on the ground not moving, but, he did want to know if the male would own up to his actions, whatever they were.

Any attempt at breaking the ice would have come out as brash and otherwise awkward. She had a job to complete after all, so did it matter if she kept asking questions? Instead, she merely walked inside the Hall politely after the Green Arrow and two powerhouses. The female rolled her eyes under the mask as some other hero rushed in. His costume matched the original hero Flash, but his seemed a bit more...goofy. She chuckled a bit before her mace began to glow. Oh how the young Thanagarian hated the weapon for that hue. Everytime it came across something it did not recognize, but had a source of magic to it, the light of the Nth radiated to warn her. Gripping the handle of her mace tightly, she watched as a man rose from the ground, another figure near him. Because his actions were not hostile, she found no need to engage in battle. Instead, she merely listened on his prophecy of there being ten heroes to come to the hall. "So you're waiting on three more?"Nyura did not see herself as a hero. In fact, Earth was still foreign to her and that was saying much for a woman that had been there briefly. Despite her demeanor of being very expressive with her mind, she was a patient and calm woman when not under stress. As such, she merely waited on these other three --two with the appearance of Flash-- to show up."Never let anyone tell you the odds, fight fate instead." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Hawkgirl ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

Daniel Hall, King of All Dreams "Here he is now," Daniel murmured towards the party about to take on hios challenges and tests "The Fastest Man Alive..." The Flash would come into view followed by a gust that seemed not to affect Daniel in the slightest. Whereas papers and dust seemed to swirl and dance at the Flashes arrival, Daniel simply remained blank and void of emotion. He looked towards the few who were closing towards him and shook his head; it would of course be the two more war like individuals whom would by chance approach him. He could only shake his head at them and bowing his head towards Damien answered the young Amazon's questions. "Damian Prince, the Warrior, Legacy to Diana and Prince of the Amazons. An honour." The Dream King raised his head and pointed towards the male on the floor, also a Legacy but earlier than the companions arriving now. "This is the Legacy of Katana, he arrived early so I put him to sleep. He is between your realm and mine at the moment... Does that clue you in as to whom I might be?"
Nyura then spoke in the background and after hearing her, Daniel could do nothing but tut to himself. Very disappointing. That was to say the least. Thanagarians were all muscle and very little brain though, it's why they carried around aborbacons. They weren't smart enough to figure things out like normal beings. But then Daniel noticed the hypocrisy in his statement. He was not a normal being either. He was Endless. Yet, it would still be fun to play with the Hawkwoman for a little while. Who knew, maybe with provocation she could do something stupid and give Daniel some means of sport. Who knew, who really knew anymore. In all honesty the world had been turned upside down and ravaged thanks to the disappearance of the Heroes and Daniel's own links to the caped community seemed to play on his heart strings a little. Had that influenced his decision to help the Batman? Lyta? Had Lyta swung the pendulum in Bruce Wayne's favor?
Mathew cawed towards Nyura with a fervor! "Ha ha ha! She's a funny one boss, I think she can't count!" Daniel once again silenced Daniel with a hand gesture but nodded in agreement. "With the Speedsters arrival you are only missing one. Ten in total Nyura Amagai of Thanagar. Ten in Total..."

Company: Legacies Thoughts: Ghost men....Great. Location: Hall of Justice.
[Nightingale][Sonokinesis][Legacy Initiative] "I suppose I should, shouldn't I, houdini?!" She coyed. Taliana eyed some of the other new faces and familiar ones that had popped up at the Hall of Justice. Talk of a leader assembling them sparked her fire. "I was about to ask the same thing." Taliana echoed. No one led her to do anything. Every step she took was taken because she deemed it so. A siren couldn't, and wouldn't be tamed so easily. For now she wouldn't bite this so called leader's head off when he finally decided to reveal himself. As if on cue, a dramatic entrance was made by the illustrious emerald archer. Dude had his priorities all jumbled if he felt all of that was necessary to get out of the tree. Of course, one could not deny the visual candy they were receiving. The blonde touched her face as she caught sight of his masked eyes. 's**t!' She had forgotten her small eye mask at home. Amateur mistake. The words from the new Hawkgirl made her a little weary of just how much the girl knew without her mask on. Thankfully they weren't out in the public eye as of yet. Taliana would like to believe that she could trust these heroes as she had with the others back in Metropolis. The presence of Michael and Damian comforted her, but also drove home the seriousness of the situation. This was one step closer to a future that was sitting just on the horizon of a new dawn.
The siren walked inside with the others as Michael confidently proclaimed it safe. Taliana followed with caution as her eyes laid on the white figure before them. There was another male on the ground who seemed to be unconscious. She was sure the white haired man had done something. Using whatever his powers were to strike fear into the citizens with these silly rumors. A gust of entered the building wind and whipped her hair around her. She smirked as she realized it was her favorite red-clad whirlwind. "Maybe it was because hotheads weren't allowed, Flash." She playfully emphasized his codename. Her cerulean orbs traveled back towards the white haired male as she began to question his motives. "A guy like you must have a name, right?" She questioned fiercely.

OOC:: Wut it is. Late to the party, but an extended nap will do that. =.=;; What an expensive trip. Nightmare after nightmare. She could only have counted them as such. Her "dreams" of recent had always involved a monochromatic-esque man continually reshaping whatever she had tried changing her dreamworld to. The only constants had ever been that man....and the location. As she had described to her sisters and support operatives, his appearance grew closer and closer until they were face to face. It was all so realistic, and this had persisted for over a week. Finally, Vermilion had been convinced that at least this had to be dealt with. What bothered her even now as she pulled up to the front of the building was that her throat mike would be useless. Flying blind, as it were. Cal and Acadia were still back in Coast City. Cal had her day job and Acadia had school, so it was ultimately necessary to leave them there.
As true to her reputation, she arrived via motorcycle. If people wanted to steal it....well then they were clearly a lover of custom builds that happened to look like patchwork right out of the scrapyard. It had been a miracle that the gas tank did actually have more of its original lining than replacement welds. Not living near a scrapyard really made maintenance and improvements difficult and fairly low on the priorities scale. Nearby was a blue buggy of some kind, and she mentally groaned. Why did someone have to drive something so ugly that it made her own work seem like it might actually be worth stealing?
Still, that had to be put aside in favor of laying this crap to bed....so that she could go to bed without some creepypasta-esque dude haunting her dreams. She had enough to deal with and haunting nightmares as it was. Nudging the kickstand out with her foot, the bike came to a rest and again all was silent. Best just to get this out of the way. Striding across towards the building, she flipped down her custom mask and pushed her way into the building proper. Already, a chill set her skin to standing, and despite how badly she wanted to have her 74 on hand, it was as if that man...thing...had told her not to. The crossbow was what was needed, apparently. And Pa's gun took precedence over the 74. Even so though, her first instinct as she entered was to take the crossbow out and back holster the shotgun.
Night time. In a creepy abandoned building. Without a whole lot of offensive power. For once, the Huntress had wished she actually still had standard buckshot rounds. The place made its first impression to all whom entered, and there were already ten people inside. This was not a great start, especially if said individuals were the trials ahead for her. But as she stepped through and did a once over of the individuals present....either these were flashy villains well out of her usual quarry levels....or...nope! These were superheroes....again...usually out of her own quarry levels. Sighting a man dressed in the iconic suit from her past....the Batman. That was enough to note that these others standing about him and making chatter indicated that these at least were his allies.
For the moment, she remained quiet, staying near the back, and her first focus was to hold that ghost like...thing, in her sights. As with every dream/nightmare she'd had involving it, looking away gave her the feeling it was going to flay her alive. So, holding ground it was, and trying to ignore the blonde in the tight white getup ahead of her.

Daniel Hall, King of All Dreams "She's here boss! She's here!" Daniel looked towards the back of the group and shook his head. It seemed as though the Legacy of the Huntress had come to fill the gap left by the Martian Manhunter which was a shame; part of Dream wanted to be somehwt impressive in the face of the Superheroes gathered in front of him. He was kind of a big deal on Mars and to have a being as powerful as a Green Martian falling onto their knees and bowing their head at the mere sight of him; couldn't do anything other than make a person feel good. Alas, it was not meant to be and beckoning Mathew onto his finger, he waited for the crow to land and perch itself before turning back towards the group.
"Are we all here?" He asked counting them up in his head "I want you all to tell each other your real names and who you're 'meant' to be. No lying either. I know exactly who you are, what you do and even what you dream about... I'm looking towards you, young master Flash..."

Alan Cypher
Alan gave a friendly smile to Wonderboy as he was greeted in return. Even if it was formality, honey to is better then vinegar. that's when he felt the temporary scanning of his mind from the device Hawkgirl put down which immediately caused him to smile. "Aww darlin you could atleast bought a man dinner before you go all mind scanny on him. Might want to wash your drive out got some dirty laundry in this here noggin of mine." He joked.
Though he was distracted from the playful attitude when Jonathan arrived and he only shot him a glance that said. 'I will turn you into a chicken.' Before falling everyone inside. He did take a special moment to brush his fingers across Taliana's cheek and eyes forming a domino mask across her face, before giving her a wink. "There you go love. Now you can play it all mysterious." He flirted before continuing on into the hall with the others ignoring the texts that were obviously coming from Vera as his phone vibrated. 'Oh she is going to be absolutely pissed. When I get back.' He thought to himself as he remembered he still had Vera trapped in the House of Mystery and was suppose to be letting her go to continue her therapy with her demon grandmother. 'Oops'
Alan immediately recognized who they were dealing with and simply muttered. "Hell." Before mentally closing down bits of his mind. He was caught unaware and it was probably to late to do any good. But when dealing with omnipotence, especially the endless. Any possible defense is a good defense.
As he prepared his mental wards and other ideas for how to handle the new King of Dreams h watched as things went down. The arrival of the flash and the Huntress intrigued him and was a little sad that the martian didn't come along. He was looking forward to berating him more. That's when he heard the King of Dreams talk and ask them to reveal themselves. He couldn't help but laugh. "Oh my god it's AA all over again. Well I am Alan Cypher and it's been 3 weeks well 1 week, ok, ok, I was totally wasted last night but she was nervous it helped loosen the mood. Seriously though I am a magician and I am meant to be myself. I do follow the teachings of the one and only John Constantine though." Alan Cypher was being completely honest about this. Yes he knew who use to own the house and used many of John Constantine's journals. He even tried to contact him through the void of time once though was interrupted and never bother to try again. However he didn't think he was his legacy and knew John would probably laugh at the thought as well.
OOC:So much stuff to respond to ugh oh well focused on what Alan would find relevant to himself.

When the group migrated into the building, he stuck to the back and followed them all in. He mentally noted the arrival of Flash and a woman he was fairly certain was the new Huntress, but still said nothing. He listened to the pale man explain things, and found his list of questions was growing with each thing the pale man said. His questions could be answered later. Hopefully he could get the man alone to ask him the questions.
However, when the man ordered them to tell everyone their names and who they were meant to be, he swore internally. He couldn't tell these people his name. If any of them got the idea to look him up, it was only two clicks away to finding out that his father had a pretty long criminal record. He couldn't give people that chance. He didn't need people questioning his loyalties. Nobody would trust him if they had evidence that suggested he would at any point switch sides. He knew where his loyalties lied, and he knew where he stood on the morality line, but if people were questioning it, how could he prove it? If people were questioning it, any attempt he made to prove his worth would look like he was trying too hard.
In an attempt to avoid all of that, however futile the attempt proved, he remained silent, hoping that his position in the back of the group would let him go unnoticed and forgotten. If the man was as powerful as evidence was suggesting, he knew the odds of him getting out of this were slim, but it didn't hurt to try.

Daniel Hall, King of All Dreams Daniel couldn't help but raise an eyebrow towards Anthony at the back, it seemed as though nobody wanted to share. Oh well, it would only make things harder for them when it all came down to it. How could you trust someone you didn't even know, especially inside the dreaming. Alan obviously knew something about what was going on, however, the others didn't seem to realize the gravitas of the situation. As such, Dream simply looked towards Mathew the Crow and then back towards the Legacies with a faint aggressive glint in his dark almost absent eyes.
He would make them understand and it would be easiest to do that by taking out one of the strongest. Or one of the most rebellious, perhaps? Pulling a small pouch out from his sleeve, Daniel allowed Mathew to undo the drawstring as he cupped it in his hands. Some would be able to feel the magical energy almost bursting from the small satchel as the string loosened and it opened. Others would be totally clueless but he was the Sandman after all this small bag was how he got his name and one of his three sigils of office. "I think it's about time we begun, don't you? Now, we can do this willingly or you can resist. It bothers me not which you choose."

Master Kent? Really? Was there a need to be that formal? He expected formalities from Wonder Boy, but the male before them made it seem as though he was servant with the way he referred to him. At the footsteps coming behind him, he turned slightly, only to see Green Arrow standing directly behind him, almost as though he were using him as some type of shield. Sure, there weren't many things on the planet that could affect him, but still. It was not like he enjoyed being hit with large objects like buildings or buses. Pushing the thoughts aside a gust of wind pushed on his cheek as the Flash showed up next. Better late than never, something that seemed pretty ironic given the male's abilities. Taliana had chose to question the male alongside Damian and to that he merely nodded his head, but he doubted that he would actually share his name with them. But, the next to speak was the crow.
Apparently, another had arrived, and upon turning to face the new person, he only put a hand to his heir before scratching. Who was she? Turning back to face the white-haired male, he decided to adhere to his requests for full names. There was no harm in doing so, right? Not for Alan anyways. "I am Mike-El otherwise known as Michael Kent, son of Kal-El. If the symbol is no indication, I'm Superboy." The man's hand being within the bag itself served only to worry Superboy, and the look on his face did not really help either. "If you mean that its time for our reclaiming of the Hall to begin, then I'd say you are indeed correct." That being said, anything that would stand in their way needed to be moved to the side. So, to make sure nothing else would happen, he would go for the bag of sand the male seemed to be keeping his hand in. With no word of warning, Superboy shot forwards, closing the distance between he and the white-haired male in but moments, hand outreached to take the sand bag from him. If all went well, he'd have the bag before the male realized it was gone.

Green Arrow "Heads up, you're about to be a pincushion" Alias: Jonathan Price Status: Minor Vertigo Thoughts: Oh for crying out loud Mike!!!! Wearing: Peridot Pendant, Shadestone Ring Equipment: GA-2 Goggles Quiver: 66/75 15 Broadhead Arrows 14 Smoke Arrows 14 Taser Arrows 10 Flash Bang Arrows 9 Line Arrows 5 Tranquilizer Arrows 2 Caltrop Arrows 2 Oil Slick Arrows 1 Explosive ArrowHe didn't say anything about this, but the ever watchful eyes of Jonathan did notice something about the woman who was the new Black Canary. The news always depicted her as wearing a small eye mask. But she forgot her mask this time around, at least until Alan solved the mask problem for her. But it was too late: if she was trying to keep it secret from her best friend, Jonathan already knew.
Taliana Lance, his best friend since grade school, was the new Black Canary. But his attention was diverted back to the Sandman.
Introduce themselves? Now there was some kind of weirdness going on in this place. The man didn't look human, the raven just spoke, the Flash was late, and another person that Jonathan didn't even recognize showed up. Out of all of them though, the new girl was the least weird. He could tell two things: she loved her guns, and she had no superpowers. He did however recognize a particularly familiar crossbow on her hip. If he was correct, it looks similar to the one's Helena Bertinelli had. Her codename: Huntress. So either this woman was the new Huntress, or she stole it from Helena. He was banking on the former. Even though this one sure loved her guns and other heavy weapons.
Alan Cypher and Mike El actually responded to the Sandman's question of who they are and who they are meant to be without much hesitation, so to follow suit, he put on a smile, despite his hesitation, and probable fear, of the unknown man and his talking raven, and followed suit, "I am Jonathan Price, and I have taken on the mantle of the Green Arrow, in honor of Oliver Queen," Jonathan responded.
He was about to add more when Mike-El decided to go grab the satchel of.....whatever it is that the Sandman brought out. Reflexively, Jonathan stepped back a few paces before he shouted, "Superboy, I don't think that's the best idea you can think of," Jonathan said before he looked at the Sandman, waiting for him to pull some kind of trick to dodge Superboy's rash decision. It was best to just do this willingly, in Jonathan's opinion. Whoever this man is, he won't go down to Superboy's punches or an arrow or two, much less anything else the gathered heroes can muster, "Mr. Poltergeist," best thing Jonathan could think to name him, besides Spooky, "Whatever trials you have planned for us, I will be willing to take. I can't say if the rest of us will be willing to, but just from first impressions, we don't really have a choice whether to participate or not."

OOC:: Alright, peeps! Let's get posting-like! Get this show on the road and whathaveyou! Wooo~ People seemed to be silent up until a tall, muscled man spoke up. Perhaps this was how they were to "band together"? No one wanted to be the leader. Vermilion had never been truly grand at making the best of first impressions, but if this man could just up and introduce himself after that long pause in between the first and second....why couldn't everyone else? Was secrecy that important? As probably the "culturally ignorant bumpkin" of the group, and by her reckoning, maybe the weakest...if she were to step forward and introduce herself....that could inspire the others. Seriously, bad vibes from this man. The man that haunted her dreams and now haunted her consciousness with his mere presence. All he put forth as defense against a group gathering of well-armed and empowered beings was a bag. Who knew what was in it, but it didn't seem particularly firm as an object, almost viscous-like.
...Pairing that with how he's appeared to me.....is there a connection? There has to be, but is that the full spectrum of his power, or just one aspect thereof? I imagine the bat is doing the same as me.....provided he's half the hero I remembered. Definitely not the same man though. He seems....reluctant to do anything. Thinking and strategizing is what we read up on his specialties being...but that was the last one. I can't tell if he's the same, or if he's shaking in his boots...Everyone else seems just frozen....but maybe that's due to my focus on him. I don't want to call him a rival, per say...but a score to settle...something to prove, even. Welp, let's get this over with. Laugh all they want, but I'll be a better show than silence will be.
With that settled in her mind, or at least resolved, the then masked blonde moved behind the batman and the group and to their right slightly so that they could see her without really moving. That might be important in case this man's powers also involved some kind of teleportation...or something. Taking her free hand and flipping up her mask, she began her own introduction.
"Awlright y'all. Since no one else wants t'go, and since I can kinna figger out who y'all are by th' costumes....here's me. My name's Vermilion Jacquelyn Mackinzie-Trinity Latiolais. I'm here representin' th' Huntress' legacy. Ahh might not be super-empowered or an alien or such, but that's never stopped us before. Devil be thrice damned who cares if this guy knows who we are? He already knew who I was even before I got t'the building. If we're all good guys here.....shouldn't we know at least something about each other, ehh?? I know enough about the Bat t'know it's a guy and batman's legacy successor, and y'all know what just about everyone's succeeding as by th' costume. But we're all bringin' skills t'th' table here. So if little me can stand up and tell y'all who and what I am, then ya'll should've no problems in doin' th' same!"
That went on longer than expected, and it was quite the risk. Not revealing her public identity as the Huntress. That much was evident for the most part. The last name. Ever would it haunt and chase her, until the feud was settled. Some of these people could have connections....but so be it. What was done was done, and there was no taking it back now. She only hoped that if that were true....that she could be awake and go down fighting. The man in the Robin Hood like costume spoke up just before her, and perhaps that was a good thing. He seemed....charismatic.
"Yeah though, like Robin Hoo-....er...Green Arrow said. I'm ready for what trials and tests you can put us through. I don't think you'd gather us all here just for us to say no and put us in deeper."
She hadn't commented on Superboy's disappearance, but Green Arrow's perceptive gaze had reflected on her. That was a different kind of shudder. Not what was found in the dream shuddering or nightmares, but the slightly creepy feeling that someone was watching her over her shoulder...even before she'd introduced herself and unknowingly confirmed his speculations. Definitely someone to be familiar with, or at least knowledgeable about his capabilities as a leader and tactician.

Other introductions began, but after Superboy's introduction the tone in his voice changed, and to that, his hand lowered to his lasso. Pulling it off from his waist, he looped his hand through a part of it before pulling it upwards. The moment Superboy shot forwards at the male, Wonder Boy's lasso could be seen moving as well. However, it was not to the white-haired male, but to Superboy. Moments before he would have grabbed the male's bag, the Lasso of Truth would have wrapped itself around Superboy's body before the Kryptonian would feel his body forcibly being pulled back towards the group. When his body would have landed back in front of him, he'd remove his lasso before nodding to Green Arrow. "I believe we are all ready. Otherwise, we would have left by now. Shall we being sir?" questioned Wonder Boy to the white-haired male. He would scold Superboy later for his rash actions without knowing what the person before them was capable of.

Daniel Hall, King of All Dreams Mathew flinched as the Superboy disappeared and reappeared in front of Daniel reaching for the sand pouch. However, The Sandman himself seemed rather calm despite the hostility of the Boy of Steel and simply stood as if waiting for something to happen. His dark, void like eyes gave no hint of fear or surprise or of anything for that matter. They just continued to stare deep into Mike-El's until the Lasso of Truth wrapped itself around his hand and the only one able to match him, the Amazonian Prince pulled him away from Daniel and spoke.
He talked about how they were all apparently ready, how they all wanted to go but they hadn't even asked the important questions; they knew there were tasks but where were they? Were they here in the Hall or somewhere else? No one seemed to bothered to know and personally, Daniel couldn't help but look passed the others towards the Batman Legacy. What do you think about this Anthony? Dream thought to himself casually After all it is your processor who brought you all here, do you trust him that much? That much that you would deny your instinctive curiosity?
"Boss?" The Raven squawked.
"Forgive me, Mathew," Dream said slowly as he emerged from out of his own wondering back towards the mortal plane. "The problem is Master El, Prince Damien, is that not all of you have answered my call to arms. Different intentions, different disputes, different attitudes all take affect where it is I wish to take you. This young man here can attest to that. So... I am waiting Legacies... Are you to resist or take this road willingly?"
Daniel crossed his arms, leaning his head to one side as the sand pouch disappeared from view. Deep into the recesses of his white long sleeves.
"Well... I am waiting... And unlike you... I can wait forever..."
