Yeah, much more over most of the items are available are quite expensive, which is the cons, although this is just a sketch, we can find a solution in the end.

I'll certainly participate. ^-^ Maybe, instead of using items, we could have a black and white icon to use in the signatures during the event? Or use the starter cool and warm items in the shops? They're only 5 gold each, so they shouldn't break anyone's bank.

Thanks. 4laugh I originally meant in the literal signature, but I like your idea of it being in the post more. That way, it's right there up front and you won't have to look to the bottom of the post, or scroll down the page if/when someone posts more than once on a page.

I think either wearing one of the items or actually putting an icon in your post is better, as not everyone allows their signatures to be revealed, much more over, if there is multiple posts, some signatures may not be available to see.

I think an event like a spring equinox and fall equinox. Something warm then something cold. Raffles are nice, but random drawings. Random gift giving just because.

You might see some random drawing at our next event. :'D Random gift giving is a bit harder because we do have a limit to our budget. sweatdrop
With regards to the chess themed idea, I think it's only the "battle" system that needs to be worked out in a way that's fun and exciting, and otherwise the idea is something that could definitely be considered. biggrin

It's okay. 4laugh I do like the idea of a flag for an icon. It fits, what with it being a battle and all. Speaking of a battle, the only way I can imagine this working is using the using the dice option in the posts. I've never done a battle kind of thread, so I don't know how it would work.

I was also thinking about a ranking system to determine the minimum damage, but I'm not sure if that's too detailed.

I like that idea. I was also thinking that characters roll dice for stats, like attack and defense, but that's very detailed, too, and a bit complicated perhaps.
