Oh, Our Cookies: yay just waking up <_> The orange unicorn was about to answer Forest Frolic's question about his food, but was interrupted by Shadow Fire's surprised expression. "That's real smart: Find or Create something you don't know what it is? Better put it in your mouth" he mocked, gently placing the hard 'candy' next to Shadow Fire. "What could possibly go wrong there?" from that, he gave a soft shake of his head, taking another bite of the meat.
From Inkbrand's nudge, Cobalt gave a bit of a small jump of surprise in return, though from it quickly assumed Inkbrand's behavior. "So, Inkbrand, right? You're just some kid that's up all night to get lucky?" he asked, although 'kid' may have been the wrong word, as Inkbrand did look a bit older than Cobalt Lightning. "Anyway, Miss 'F,' this is just a piece of Basilisk" Cobalt finally got around to answering Forest Frolic's question. "It's actually not half bad if it's cooked right. I know, you might be thinking it's weird, a pony eating meat, but more of the world eats the meat from beasts than you might wish to believe."

 Kori listened to the others talk on, looking slightly discouraged and poked at his meal slightly, He sighs, unable to eat.

Techno Tunes remained by the Eastern Princesses' sides as long as he felt was appropriate, but he didn't want to make them uncomfortable. Thus, he excused himself from their presence once he was certain they no longer needed him for the evening, going to sit with the ponies he was supposed to help educate.
Not even bothering to address the loudest of the bunch for now, Tech noticed a pale blue unicorn and a black pegasus sitting quietly to one side. "Excuse me," he said, coming up behind them, "but would you mind if I joined you two?"

 after a while shadow got up and started to walk off. he let out a sigh as he began to turn to were the spare beds were, he didn't feel like eating that night for some reason. - exit to guest room one-

"Thank you," the feminine-looking stallion answered with a small, grateful smile as he seated himself at the table. "I'm Techno Tunes. Tech for short," he explained. "A pleasure to meet you, Asch. And...I'm sorry, you are...?" the pale apricot earth pony inquired, looking to Kori.

"My name is Kori, Its a pleasure to meet you, Tech" He smiles warmly at the stallion, "So... This whole business is kinda... crazy huh? I mean don't get me wrong I'm happy to help them... But it's just a shock." He looks at the bracelet and messes with the gem a little. There was a part of him that knew things were going to get hairy... and even after telling Asch he could come with him, didn't wish to put him in danger....

"I see. The pleasure is all mine, Kori," Tech answered pleasantly. "It is indeed a surprise," he agreed. "Though I am not one of the chosen, as you are, so I can only imagine what you're going through. However, I'm certain the elements picked you for a reason."
With a soft smile, he said, "I don't mean to pry, but...might I inquire as to the relationship between the two of you? If it's too bold or personal a question, please feel free to decline answering."

Both stallions blush and look at each other. "Oh well uhm... it's kinda early to really say... But I do enjoy his company... And there is this connection I feel you know?" As Kori talks the gem around his hoof starts to glimmer slightly. "W-we've only met recently so it's n-nothing too serious...." Asch tries to hide the fact that he's blushing under his mane.

"I think I might," Tech answered Kori, still smiling as he turned to Asch. "Serious or not, it's awfully sweet of you to decide to accompany Kori here on this journey. Especially if, as you say, you two met only recently."
"Say...was that glowing like that before?" the earth pony asked, his emerald gaze falling upon the soft light of Kori's ruby.

 "I've always wanted to see the world, and If I can help him in any way.... " He trails off as he notices the glowing, "Woah....""N-no it's never done that before... What do you think it means?" He holds the glowing gem up a little trying to figure it out.

"Oh. Well in that case, I suppose you're accomplishing multiple goals, then, aren't you?" Tech remarked brightly in response to Asch's reasoning. "Good for you."
"I'm no expert," the pale apricot pony said, "but I'm guessing you just demonstrated your element." He regarded the gem curiously. "Did Jin-hime or Yu-hime tell you what it was?"

To be able to wield the power of any and all of them is remarkable." He paused, catching sight of Kori's state. "Kori-san, are you alright? Your face is all red."

"I just never really thought... " He smiles softly, "My father always said I had a heart bigger than I was..." He nuzzles the gem slightly as it glimmer a little differently as he thinks of his father. "It's kinda like a love mood ring" Asch jokes playfully.
