Nevada looked up at her twin and gave her a lazy smile. "Well I love Otto's room, and am here a lot. The pillows are mine." She was half teasing and very much serious as in back off the pillow pile peeps.
The judgemental look from Aria earned a very wide eye and then look away and then look back...and then away again. Could she be on the girl...probably...
"DYLON!!!" She squeaked, gesturing the moon hunter over to share the pile with her and distract Aria from her nervousness and obvious behavior. "Wanna sit by me handsome?" She patted the floor next to her, "Best seat in the house, promise."

Dylon grinned wider, somehow, and hopped on over to sit next to Nevada on the floor. "Ah! It's the twin!" He smiled warmly at Alaska. "So many pretty faces, no matter where I turn~"
He chuckled lightheartedly, his eyes trying not to look to the screen. It was bad enough on a phone. Was this a usual thing at Deus? Was it just TV? Entertainment?
Nevada smiled warmly at the moon hunter, moving over and spreading pillows out for him to sit on. "Yes! This is Alaska my twin!" She waved her hand, "The older one is the prettiest amirite?" She narrowed an eye though, "But don't do anything to her...Or I'll have to kick your butt." As in that weird hand motion, and feeling waist...and stuff.
"What do you think Dylon?" She waved her hand at the screen, "See anyone you know in there?" Nevada had known too many, and though she was worried, she trusted the people in there she cared about to handle it....

Pandora continued to sit upside-down on the couch, crossing her legs over the backrest. The majority of her hair was spilling down onto the floor in a wide radius of golden orange.
She gave Ripley a wink. "Long story."
"Oh, pfff. Any time." Pandora waved it off like it had been a simple favor, looking no worse for the wear. The important thing was and continued to be that no one had died, and therefore, there had been no real danger after all. She seemed to have compartmentalized the horrific aspects of the 'mission' in record time. Plus, the detergent on the island was great at getting bloodstains out of clothes. This place really knew their stuff. She waved up at him from near the floor. "I'm Pandora."
Her concentration broke as the others filtered into the room. She called out to each of them, regardless if she knew their name, but gave Aria a particularly loud squeal of happy surprise to see her hanging out with the trainees.
"Not to be biased or anything, ah-heh," the mist trainee giggled, as apparently zero of Aria's Serious Talk got through to her, "But my money's on Stormy tonight."
Remember the announcement at the start? Aria shook her head. She had missed a good portion of the start of it, however the information the trainee supplied had Aria's lips pressed into a thin line. "So they want to play it this way, hm? It wouldn't surprise me if there's some hunters that don't agree with how things are run. Not all hunters are united under the same banner, after all."
"Reception can vary," Aria answered, "We've managed to hack into most cellphone networks and use their satellites to our advantage, but there are some limits to it. So, yes, there are the cliche cell phone dead zones. Anything more and you're better off asking a hunter that specializes in tech. I just use it and bring it to them if it stops working." Aria shrugged. She may have been a division leader, but she didn't know everything. At least she was willing to share what she did know at least.
Aria spared a glance towards Dylon, ignoring Nevada. Instead she leaned over and poked Pandora's stomach. "Shouldn't you be a bit more concerned about them? Anyway, my money's riding on Roland. I think he'll be a dark horse in this."

And the newest arrival garnered a happy shout from the younger twin, but a wince and scowl from the older twin. She tucked a colored strand behind her ear. “And the twin would like to be called Alaska from now on, thank you,” she noted in a low monotone. She crossed her legs and cupped her chin in one hand. “I think you mean I’ll have to kick his butt. Rather painfully. I learned a number of things while on the streets.”
Alaska stared at her phone, then at Aria, then back at her phone. “Is that so…” She pondered. “If we’re talking about bets, I’m gonna say Gale. He isn’t the youngest full hunter for nothing, and I imagine death hunters are pretty cunning when they want to be.” She leaned further into her seat.
“Also I hope Finn dies,” she muttered under her breath. She almost snapped her fingers when she realized he was still alive even with the falling tiles. Sigh.

Ah, Alaska seemed.... a little less friendly than her twin. Dylon smiled anyway, despite a sudden discomfort in his gut as he sat with them.
"I um..." His brows fell, "I'm not sure what to think. It's unpleasant.." Watching a movie was one thing, but was this real? It almost seemed real. He didn't know many people aside from Nevada and Molly. Maybe this was just a show. No one else seemed too alarmed.
"I don't know anyone there."

Well, this just went from grim to hopeless. If they sat here, they watched their friends die. If they tried to interfere, their friends could still die, or everyone would. This was quite the rock-and-hard-place.
"Pleasure's all mine~" He murmured to Aria's pleasantries, half on reflex and half on honesty. He knew who she was, of course, since one of the first things he did was try and pinpoint the superiors. Every place had a chain of command, and it always helped to know who was on the rungs near the top. "The TV's projecting from my phone, if I use it now, we'll lose the picture." And it was easier to have many eyes trained on one large point, than several separated. "But if someone could call Abbi Killian, Jack Hawthorn, Finn Connor or Ian Rahal-Nazari, I'd really appreciate it." He didn't know how many Abbi, Jack, Finn or Ian's were on the island, so full names seemed like the best route for him. Of course, seconds later showed the death of Jack, to which he flinched. "...Especially Jack, just to check."
His gaze shifted between Alaska and Nevada for only a moment, his interest briefly piqued with the mention of twins. Well, they certainly looked enough like twins...and they had the same naming convention. Cute.
"Why aren't they using their weapons? Everything they have there is runic, isn't it?" He squinted at the screen, trying to piece together what he was seeing. "Is it possible to use your weapon while in a golem? Sorry, I'm not too well acquainted with them yet." But he did give an apologetic glance to Nevada, considering she had to put up with him as he failed his first training with them.
Everyone seemed to start betting, and Ripley carefully schooled his features to not let on how disappointing it was to hear. Weren't they supposed to be a team? Still, as a Trainee at the bottom of the food chain, he knew better than to question or nag. He did, however, hear Alaska's muttered wish; he was close enough to hear that, at least.
"I hope Finn lives, personally." Finn was his friend. A train wreck waiting to happen that seemed to tolerate him, and was on occasion fun to poke. "I feel bad for just sitting here, watching this happen. If it's real, they're in very serious trouble." His gaze had drifted back to the TV, his fingers locked under his nose as he tried to think, his eyes searching for anything that seemed familiar or important to their whereabouts in this already strange, unsettling event.

"I know a couple faces in here," Alaska said, but her face turned stony as more and more were eliminated. "Knew, I suppose."
There were no further reactions from the trainee as she sunk deeper into her seat. "Is that so?" Her voice just a bit higher-pitched as she answered Ripley. "Good for you, then, but I guess we don't all get what we hope for." There wasn't a sign of pleasure on her face, even when she had gotten what she wanted. It was like she could never be pleased. "It looks like this game might be ending soon. I wonder if there's any point in trying to intervene now?"

"Guys? The screen went black.." Dylon called out, worry etched in his voice.
"That stuff... was it real? Or just a show..."

She sat up straight when the screen came back. "It's back...on...." Alaska's voice drifted off. She remained silent for a while, then spoke up again as she turned toward Aria. "That day. A war. Destroying an old system. Does that ring any bells?"

Dylon's dark grey eyes grew wide before squinting in despair, a hand hovering over his mouth. That woman was just murdered, right before his eyes.

(sry the spoilers broke when they were all on the first page)
Group Phi Beta:
Milo, Solomon, and Wilson all dropped on the ground around Finn, Roland, Ian, and Jack There was only one hallway at the other end of where they stood, lit with torches There were three empty prisoner cells on each side, made of sturdy iron bars At the far end was a locked door and a set of keys next to a sign: Only one can lead. Roland grabbed the keys Finn investigated the cell at the top right Jack investigated the cell at the middle right Milo investigated the cell at the middle left Wilson investigated the cell at the bottom right Ian investigated the cell at the top left Jack investigated the cell at the bottom left Roland reached for the red and violet switches and pulled them down The top left and bottom right prison doors closed on Ian and Wilson Sawblades spun through Ian’s cell, one slicing a tendon in his calf, another grazing his shoulder Arrows whisked past Wilson, one of them burying itself into his thigh Finn left his cell and tried to pry Ian’s cell door open Jack left his cell and tried to help Finn with Ian’s cell door The cell bars sparked with electricity and burned the ends of Jack’s fingers Wilson looked around the room for another way out Roland pulled the yellow and green levers Finn threw the box he’d been carrying back into his cell and began checking the room for any other hidden messages, looking behind the sign Ian began searching the western wall for a switch or latch or anything that might be of use Jack moved to stand close to the sealed door, peeking under the sign with Finn Finn discretely showed him the note that indicated that someone had a concealed weapon Shiloh held the artifact he’d been given and pressed his hands to Ian’s leg to try and stop the bleeding (**if you’re confused re: Shiloh pls read ]this!) As the artifact was pressed to his leg, the bracelet’s effects were canceled, and Ian could briefly hear his weapon calling for him The yellow lever snapped into place as Ro pulled it, and the green made a grating noise before shifting back to its original position The floor outside the panel room began to rumble, and the tiles began to drop, revealing the towering spikes underneath the floor Ro pulled the blue lever Finn looked for something to hold onto in case the tiles all collapsed Jack also looked for something to hold onto All of the tiles fell out of the bottom of the room Finn successfully grabbed onto something that jutted out of the wall, preventing himself from falling Shiloh held onto Ian, preventing him from falling Ro pulled the last lever Jack didn’t manage to find something to hold onto, and fell into the spikes Wilson grabbed only air and fell into the spikes Milo grabbed hold of a remaining portion of the room and saved himself from falling Solomon found something to hold onto and avoided the falling They waited for a long time, and the tiles did not reappear Instead, something fell on top of them, pushing them into the spikes below
Group DeltaOmega
Mark, who had been leading group Delta, said that he was a genius and had a few unfinished realizations The ceiling began to shake Mark instructed them to meet up with the others ‘down that way’ while he went to cause some distractions, and asked if anyone wanted to come with because he needed security on his mission Abbi, Taym, and Dory opted to follow Mark Stormy, Chel, Peyton, and Lucky continued down the opposite side of the hall
☠
Team Mark:
In response to that idea, Charlotte pushed Lawr into the acidic pool and shot Mark, who was only bloodied by the attack The room began to shake, and a staircase leading down appeared in front of them As they walked down the stairs, they found themselves in a long, bright hallway There were 5x5 squares arranged in a larger 6x6 square of the tiles The sides of the wall had a scrolling text across the walls: Everyone has one choice. Sam picked a square near the middle, dragging Otto to a square beside her Charlotte picked a square next to her Mark picked the square beside them, leaving 32 tiles to choose from: http://zoo.thesporkedken.com/maze.jpg Gale chose B-5 Shiloh tried to slip the artifact into Mark’s hands Without the artifact, Shiloh poofed back to Deus Taym chose E-2 Dory chose D-6 Abbi chose C-6 A portion of the tiles flipped, and only Mark, Sam, Charlotte, Gale, and Otto remained
Team Not-Mark:
They continued to walk until they reached an open door. Inside was a large, empty room with six prison doors The door at the end of the room swung open, revealing Roland inside The bracelets flashed erratically: Sacrifice one and all may survive. Stormy mentioned finding a list that had Lucky’s name crossed out on it, and suggested that he might be the one they want Lucky wanted to be the one to do it, if so, and put the gun to his temple The gun clicked, and nothing happened The door closed behind Roland, locking the control panel from the inside There was a groan as the tiles began to shift, and everyone fell into the abyss below before the tiles snapped closed again
☠
The ending is pretty short and has a lot of useful information, so I suggest reading it starting HERE!
If you still need a tl;dr, however:
The camera is now off The remaining five were brought to a room that had a large table in it, which had enough seats for 13 people In the absolute center was an empty throne Two unfamiliar figures sat on either side of the throne The survivors were congratulated and informed that they would now have their performances assessed A tall, thin man wearing a white suit entered and sat on the throne, then introduced himself as the Judge Mark and Charlotte didn't pass Otto and Gale did Sam mysteriously wasn't judged Charlotte attempted to shoot the judge, but missed She was immediately apprehended by guards and was slammed onto the table The Judge declined to have her taken to the 'nightmare chambers' and said they needed to make an example of her Cameras are now back The Judge introduced himself to the camera He explained that Charlotte had been judged, then shot her in the head No cameras again The Judge invited them on a tour They walked down a long, bright hallway, past several displays of people working on familiar runic items They finally stopped at a large glass viewing panel, with a handful of pods inside The pods contained the hunters from the 'trial' The Judge explained that energy was taken from the people in the pods by making them relive their nightmares over and over The lights went off When they came back on, the room was already in chaos and full of tear gas Sam asked for them to cover her back and took off her false bracelet, summoning her weapon Mark set up a portal out and instructed them to pull the podded hunters to safety, then rescued three of them Otto and Gale rescued all of the ones that remained

The series of events continued on the television. Roland was out. Aria could only shake her head at that. While there wasn't any way he could have prevented it, it was still disappointing to see her bet go down as fast as he did.
At Ripley's questions, Aria raised her arm and tapped her wrist. "Bracelets. The red runes are odd since ours are blue, but the most common use of them is to restrain a hunter and prevent them from summoning their weapon. It looks like they may be wearing a variation of them. Otherwise, your weapon needs your body in order to utilize it. Most golems are too fragile for fighting, and the ones that are stable enough are usually reserved for something big."
As the show continued, Aria leaned forward with her lips pressed into a thin line. As the Judge introduced himself and spoke his piece, Aria stood up. "Sorry," she began, "But it sounds like something big is about to go d-"
Her words were cut off as a sharp, loud sound blasted out of the television. Aria watched the screen before she turned and quickly left, weapon summoned.
"I see." He replied quietly to Aria. The Trainee was clearly ignoring Alaska now, especially since it didn't matter any more. Finn and Abbi were gone. All of his friends were gone. Abbi was... His heart was sinking, and the hole was being filled with pure rage.
And then all he could do was stare at the screen, his golden eyes wide with shock. This...this Judge, just shot somebody. s**t was indeed going down.
Aria had left, and the moment he noticed it, he was walking out behind her, drawing his own weapon by example. "I want to help." He had nobody left here. Well, Otto perhaps, but...how long would that last?
