Well, I apologize for offending you, and assure you that I had no intention of doing so. Unfortunately now it seems like you are being condescending in earnest. I would have to disagree with you on exaggeration and bluntness being the most effective means of conveying a point. It can be easily mistaken for condescension, especially with an honest mistake / misunderstanding. I wouldn't take offense to someone not wanting to join a roleplay I created for such a non-hostile reason. Then again, we are two different people. Perhaps more detail and background knowledge would have been more helpful in understanding the true nature behind your roleplay and thus classifying its genre correctly. I appreciate how you went more in-depth into the storyline for me in the first paragraph, although I would probably have to look into your other roleplay to understand more about the background and universe. I wouldn't mind doing that, but for now I'm going to attend to some matters that came up on the side. I will be more than happy to let you know if I have decided to join after reading everything through, provided you still wish to have me entered in your roleplay. Judging by the little exchange here, I'm assuming that you are quite aggravated by me (at least for the moment) and I would not mind you indicating to me that you do not wish for me to participate in your story. I hope that you do not harbor ill will towards me for my misunderstanding and misinterpretation, but I would like to ask that you be careful with how you communicate with others- as will I.

Yoshielite Alright, you've got me intrigued on this idea. Not having to deal with the whole faerie thing would be wonderful. Perhaps he lost power over the ages or was placed under a restrictive spell for millennia, and now that he's free he's weakened considerably and needs to regain his strength. Oh omg ahaha as soon as you mentioned Goethe I thought about it for a second and remembered "Der Erlkönig" from a German class I took. Gotcha. Yes! That's the one! And set to music by Schubert....AAAHHHH amazing. Hahaha. There's not much else to supplement it, really; most people don't know the poem so I don't even bother...lol.
Yeah, that definitely sounds plausible. I can imagine he wouldn't be too happy about essentially being imprisoned and whatnot; basically reduced to a myth that basically no one knows about xD

I certainly don't hold anything against you, and I'll be the first to admit I'm a sarcastic a*****e at times, so really if you still want to join even after my snark then I'd be happy to have you, I'm not the sort to deny or kick people for personal reasons anyways, since my rps do not exist solely to serve me alone. As for being careful with how I talk I've had this conversation before. I could sit here and tell you it won't happen again, but then I'd be lying, and for better or worse I'd rather be honest with you. Sorry can't just change my entire personality just because there's a chance some people may find it rude.

Arya (who i was thinkingc of bringing back through LOE) and our 1x1 Crucible of the ancients Oh right! Sorry about that, I've been in a bit of a mental snafu today and was unfortunately unable to sleep since I woke up from a short nap at 12:30 in the morning today. Arya was the disturbed child from Rush the Tides with Gol-Ur, Keiga, and whoever I named that dwarf... R'ulth? Anyway, I do miss that roleplay but I didn't think I would be up for moderating one roleplay at a time so I decided to stick to the much more manageable 1x1s. It would be interesting to see her make a return, and it would probably make me want to bring Keiga back though... and I don't know if Jyce would be too up for that. I suppose I could ask, since they're eternal partners and all and he is a legendary being. Ah the Crucible... it was a shame that it didn't last any longer than it did. That was definitely a fun one.

I can imagine he wouldn't be too happy about essentially being imprisoned and whatnot; basically reduced to a myth that basically no one knows about xD^^ That's too true, especially if he got dropped into the culture of the U.S. (I wasn't sure the setting in which this would take place besides modern day). I'm intrigued. Maybe this way I can avoid spending all my time fishing in Bass'ken while waiting for posts.

Now...we have to figure out what would make him hunt my character to begin with. ie...some sort of magic? Maybe it was her ancestors or something that put the spell on him in the first place. Maybe initially he doesn't know it; just feels some sort of...'pull' or something. I dunno...that might be too cheesy, hahaa. He could just know

Oi, I suppose I was a bit too pointed myself. Now that I went ahead and read back what I wrote, some of it doesn't sit too well with me. I appreciate your honesty, and to be frank I actually have a friend that is the exact same way. The only reason I don't butt heads with him is because I've come to terms with that being his personality. I wouldn't want you to change your personality to fit the needs of few, especially in regards to myself. That was a pretty damn pompous thing for me to suggest (and quite frankly one of the things I find to be a problem in American society these days; everyone needs to have their emotions compensated for), and I apologize. Now if only I was a better lad, no? I could blame my situation and my mood for what I've wrote, but that would be irresponsible. Cheers, and once I get back from trying to eat something I'll go have a look at the other roleplay to better orient myself. Cheers.

LOL so I was at the supermarket getting groceries... and I had this exact thought. So that's probably a good thing that we are on the same page without even realising it xD I tend to just spew ideas as I type; hence why things can seem a bit disjointed. I think that we should also throw in some other elements; like maybe opposing forces or something (like maybe her fam was part of a society or something, or maybe there's another branch of her family that are a little more...fanatic) and obviously they wouldn't like it if they caught wind of him being free or something.

As for crucible if you wanted to bring it back I would be up for it =] but only if you feel like you can handle it,

After all, Keiga is an immensely large dragon. I'm not really sure how of if he would be able to put that in the roleplay. As for the Crucible- we could bring that back. I don't have a problem with that. We could start up where we left off or restart or something. I don't really mind either way.

I don't even have a profile set up, although I'm sure I can come up with one right-quick. I'd say if you're ready to start, go ahead and start- just send me a lil' quote so that I know you've started (if you'd be so kind).
