Torra sat down on the little bench, and for a moment she sat there thinking about the different songs she used to play with Terra. And almost automatically she started playing Sonata quasi una Fantasia, Op. 27, No. 2.

Amiera started to paint to the sound of the music. Her brush strokes created a beautiful landscape. She was lost in the moment as she painted. She hummed along, smiling, painting her heart out as her new friend played one of her favorite pieces.

"You know, you're the only person I've played in front of since my sister played with me." As she said it heart chest twisted in pain from missing her.
"So if art is such an expensive thing to do, how did you manage all this time?" She looked over her shoulder at Amiera.

Amiera sighed. "My cousin gave me a small lone to get started here. The paintings on the walls are ones I did as a teenager. The supplies was bought by my brother. He helped me find my passion." She said as she painted. "Now I have the money to live comfortably for the rest of my life."

She nodded. "I should be going. Thank you for the water and letting me into your home. Would you like to get..." She stopped, what do people get with new friends....? "Some coffee or tea sometime?"

"Sure!" She said with a smile. "You know where to find me. And if you need place to stay let me know okay." She said happily.

"I sure will." With that she left. While walking out of the building she wondered why she decided to leave so soon. She sighed. *This is why people don't warm up to you.. you don't give them the chance.

Back at her camp, Torra began to meditate. Scenes began to play before her eyes. Quiet moments stolen with a love, special times with a sister, and the most recent with Amiera. How can she like a girl she barely knows? Yes, she was nice and different from the other randoms she had begun to interact with..but why was she so different?

*You shouldn't befriend a human... it never ends well when you let them in your heart. Demons can't be happy when mortals are concerned.* Her fathers words rang through her head.

Terra had always said he acted that way because of their mother. A human girl who he fell in love with and got married to. And even now, centuries later, he still was full of the heart break.

An odd thought popped into her head then, she wished she could introduce Terra to her new friend. But for that to happen shed need to find her first.

Amiera sat in her apartment painting well into the night. She had lost track of time and forgotten to eat again, but the painting was coming along well. She was going to give it to her new friend. The painting had started as a landscape at sunset, but now resembled a twilight sky. The outline of a butterfly was shaping. Amiera didn't know what had prompted her to paint it. Maybe it was the overwhelming aura of freedom she felt from Torra. Psychic powers ran deep in her family. Her grandmother said they had been priestesses in feudal times. She could feel auras and spirits and Torra felt different then any human she had ever encountered. She liked it.

The next morning Torra woke with a headache. "Too much meditating... hard to believe out of all the things around me..that is what gives me a headache." She sighed and walked over to the small pond to the side of her camp. Sinking into the water as fast as she could to make her body used to the chill all at once, she stayed under for a bit. Enjoying the quiet of the water. When she opened her eyes a small fish was looking at her, it was so tiny it made her giggle.

After bathing and getting dressed, it was time for some breakfast. Grabbing her bow and dagger, she headed out for some small game hunting. Living here for years, Torra had the area memorized. Even which trees are good for hiding, and which ones made too much noise when you stood on the branches. Smelling the air, she got down behind a bush. A few yards away there was a few rabbits. Knocking four arrows, a trick she taught herself, she fired and down they went.

After the brief moment of hate she felt towards herself for taking their lives, she picked them up and took them back to her camp. While eating breakfast, she thought about why she still lived out in the woods. "Sentiment I suppose." *Crack* It was faint but the sound made her ears twitch. Her amber eyes darted back and forth and with years of practiced stealth she got up from her "seat", a medium sized rock she used for a chair. Staying close to the ground, she crept around her small house and jumped up into a tree.

Minutes passed as she waited. Then from the weeds came a female shape. Light brown hair and about the same height she was. Just like Torra this girl smelled the air as if looking for something. It was only when she turned Torra almost cried in relief. Bright blue eyes searching the area with an excited look on her face. "Torra I know you're around here somewhere!" Then she paused and lowered her voice, "Or maybe you aren't and this is just your home."

Soft noises were coming from a trail that led through the woods. A human girl was walking through the woods, seeming to not notice the two females she was approaching. The soft sounds of a flute had begun to echo through the woods, setting a light mood for the two, even though it seemed to only be one.

Torra dove out of the tree and tackled her sister. "Where on earth have you been?! I have been looking for you for years!" As mad as she was she couldn't do anything but hug Terra.
"Haha Torra calm down, I'm here and you no longer have to look. I don't plan on leaving again. In all the time I was gone, I didn't find a single clue. She looked almost heart broken, so Torra hugged her once more.
"It's alright. Now that you're back we can look to..." She paused and looked around, concerned. Standing slowly and helping Terra to her feet, she whispered, "Can you hear that?"
"Yes, what is it?
"It's coming from over there." She pointed to the weeds a few yards away. "I think someone is watching us." Placing her hand on her dagger she got into a fighting pose, Terra did the same with the katana strapped to her hip.

The girl walked closer to the two, still not knowing they were there. As she rounded the bend in the path she became visible to them It was Amiera. Her eyes were closed as she played a golden flute. A bag on her shoulder held a small canvas and potable paints. The tune became light and happy as she played.

Suddenly the tune stopped, a soft curse floating out on the wind. Amiera adjusted her flute and started to play again, closing her eyes as she walked. She wouldn't admit to anyone that she was lost. But she enjoyed the forest and playing her flute outside was calming.

Standing straight, Torra calmed down when she realized it was her friend. She smiled, "Terra I know her it's alright." Terra stood up too.
"Good because I really am not in the mood for a fight. I'm exhausted.
"Amiera!! Over here!" Torra yelled and started to wave her arm.

The music stopped when Ameira opened her eyes. She noticed the girls in front of her and a blush crossed her features as she walked over to them. "I'm so sorry. I didn't realize anyone else was out here.... I hope my playing didn't disrupt you... I'm not very good at it." She said, looking down at the flute in her hands. She didn't like when she played, and now that she knew she had an audience, it made her wish she had stayed in the city.

Torra wondered what she meant. "I would like you to meet my twin sister Terra. She just arrived a few minutes before you showed up."
Terra stepped forward and held out a hand. It sounded lovely whatever it was you were playing.
