Besides having to drag Natsu out of another fight, another thing Aloe hadn't counted on was others jumping into the fight as well. Because of this, the Pinsir Natsu chose to fight ended up getting jumped by the combined efforts of Natsu, a Kadabra that showed up, and the...Pokemon...that was already fighting in the battle. At least, Aloe thought it was a Pokemon. Whatever it was, it had a strangely humanoid appearance. But he something else drew his attention before he had the chance to verify exactly what it was.

Aloe blinked as a familiar face began to approach them. It was an Absol, coming at them to take out all his anger. At first Aloe assumed it was the same Absol from his first mission and welcomed him with open arms. But then its horn glowed with the use of a night slash. Luckily, Hina realized the danger and was able to intercept the attack. Though it caused a great deal of pain, Hina didn't show that it hurt. In fact, she smiled after the attack hit.

After her defeat by the hands of another Absol, Hina was more than eager to take her own anger out on the new Absol. So when the attack hit, Hina was fully prepared with an ember to send the Absol flying. But Aloe wouldn't be paying that much attention to this. His focus had turned from Hina's fight to one of the men, who Aloe took for the owner of either Pinisr or Absol. He would have apologized for getting involved with the fight if it wasn't for his next few words. Aloe froze when the name Cipher was brought up.

"Cipher! As in the guys Snagem's supposed to be fighting! That Cipher?!" Then, that means... Finally it all came to him. Why he was sent on the cruise, why everyone was getting involved with the fight, and even why the group of men seemed to be ganging up on the humanoid Pokemon and her...trainer? They must have been members of Snagem, or at least aligned to them. The other people that joined in were probably aligned to Snagem as well. That or they were all just like Natsu.

Now that he knew they had ties to Snagem, Aloe assumed that his mission was to rescue them. So when he saw the Cipher take out a gun and point it at the humanoid, Aloe was about to push her safely out of the way. But he wasn't fast enough. She took the hit before Aloe could even get close to her. But when she did go down, something even worse happened. The Togekiss, who had tried to protect the humanoid, went mad and started lashing out with Air Slashes. An Aloe had to get past it to get to her...alone.

After Pinsir was slammed, it decided to turn its full attention on the Pokemon that slammed it rather than the one that tackled it. So Natsu was opponent-less...at least until it noticed the perfect opponent. Who better to test out his strength on than his distant relative, Hitmonchan. So what if it was already in the middle of a fight with a Toxicroak. Natsu jumped in with his tackle anyway. And because of this one act, helping either Aloe or even Hina was out of the question.

"Here goes nothing," Aloe thought. Putting up his hood, he ran around the air slashes as he tried to run past Togekiss. "Don't attack me Togekiss," Aloe called out. "I'm just making sure she's okay." To show that he was telling the truth, he pulled out both a revive and a potion. Either one would probably be useful in some way. Unfortunately, Aloe found a second obstacle besides the Togekiss in his way. Thanks to the efforts of a small Togepi, a Night Daze was erupting through the area. The attack managed to hit Aloe, but it did more help than harm. Thanks to it, he was sent flying towards the humanoid.

True to the peon's words, Amaranth did indeed feel much more dense than before. On top of the pain and her wings feeling much heavier than usual, to say nothing about the rest of her, her body felt like it might as well have been submerged into the nearest ocean. Even if the pain wasn't hindering her, attacking probably wouldn't be happening.

For what it was worth, though, Aloe had little to worry about. Togekiss was one not to attack everyone if she could help it. She couldn't dictate what an attack might do, but she did give a sharp chirp to try and warn Aloe... at least, until he got blindsided. Amaranth soon hit the ground with a thud, safe from the Telekinesis but still destined to not be going anywhere.

Flareon was still somewhat fine, backing off as the Night Daze threatened to catch him into it too. Seeing the Hitmonchan blinded, though, he cloaked himself in flames again and went to rush at it with Flame Charge.

Sailing through the air, Aloe came flying past his target and nearly being dumped off the ship. If it wasn't for the fact that he grabbed the railing, he would have ended up having to swim back to the hideout. Climbing back onto the ship, Aloe had to rest for a bit to recover from the shock. Well at least he was still close to the humanoid. As he approached her, he heard the grunt with the gun saying something about chi and hybrids and all sorts of things Aloe was confused about. "H-he's crazy," he stammered, still recovering from his little spell. Too bad he couldn't figure out exactly who fired off the attack.

Approaching the humanoid, he saw that she was dealing with what seemed like excruciating pain. So Aloe took his potion back out. "Hey there," he greeted. "I'm from Snagem. They sent me here to help you." Raising the potion, he cautiously sprayed a bit of it. He was careful, considering he expected her to attack him at any moment.

While he was doing this, though, Natsu would be struck by Hitmonchan's blind attack, sending him sailing a couple feet. However, he managed to recover, attempting a generic spin kick as a counter attack. Considering the disruption the Night Daze caused, Natsu figured that even his untrained attack would be able to strike the Hitmonchan.

Hina felt the same way, though to a more drastic degree. With everyone sent flying into random directions, Hina decided to choose the opportunity to strike everyone. So she began to throw embers about in a random fashion.

While the Potion Aloe used would work, its effectiveness was debatable as Lykas mentioned. Items designed with Pokemon in mind weren't too useful on hybrids, but they did offer some help thanks to that part of them. It'd be enough to get Amaranth's pain to ease off slightly, and for her to get up a little. But for now, it'd be the extent of its success. Attacking was out of the question still, so Aloe was safe from that.

Togekiss wasn't too sure what was going on, but she moved over to Amaranth's side and gave a loud cry.

"Get... on?" Amaranth managed to speak up, before more or less flopping onto the Pokemon. She wasn't sure what was going on either, pointing in the same direction Toren pointed to. It took a lot for her to do that much, evident by how still she was afterward. Her Flareon would follow soon after, deciding it was best not to stick around for the fight.

Though Aloe used up all of his potion, the it didn't help much besides easing the humanoid's pain. He was ready to pull out yet another Potion and spray again, when he saw another humanoid Pokemon approaching. Aloe immediately stopped when he heard him...talking. Forget what he was actually saying, the mere fact that a Pokemon was talking to him was surprise enough. And he wasn't using telepathy either. He could actually speak in the human tongue.

"Y-y-y-you...talk!" Just to make sure he wasn't dreaming, Aloe put a hand on Lykas's face. He was real. Blinking, Aloe thought back to the rumors he'd heard about Snagem. "So it's true. You guys did mutate those Pokemon." Taking his hand away, Aloe's attention would be drawn by the Cipher again, as well as a sudden newcomer. It was the Cipher who revealed the newcomer as an illusion. If it wasn't enough that Aloe had just found out the Snagems were experimenting on Pokemon, it was revealed that they also blew someone up...or at least that's what it sounded like to Aloe.

"And you killed those scientists," he said in a bit of a whisper. He was starting to wonder if Snagem really were the "heroes" everyone claimed they were. But it was too late to turn back now. He had to stay at least until Cipher stopped looking at him. Still, that wouldn't be such a bad thing. At least he would be able to work in that big lab.

Looking on as Togekiss was called over, Aloe heard the "hybrid" female finally speaking to say "get on." Calling over to Hina and Natsu, Aloe saw that they'd both managed to defeat their targets without his help. He'd been so distracted by everything that happened he forgot to actually lead his Pokemon into battle. "Have to work on that," Aloe thought as they came.

Looking back to Togekiss, Aloe remembered what the Cipher had said about the gun converting flying to ground. So if Togekiss, was hit, then it probably wasn't able to fly anymore. So Aloe and Natsu offered their assistance. "Easy now. Its probably harder to walk when you're a ground type." Unknowingly to them, though, while they were doing this, Hina was sucking out the life energy of the fallen.

"Yeah, yeah, let's go save my punk cousin and the mute bird. Sounds like a blast..." Sub said in a sarcastic tone but soon followed after Blizz. The ship seemed rather peaceful even though somewhere on it there was a brawl going down. All the passengers just went about their usual business, touring the ship, chatting it up, the usual. Blizz might also notice that he didn't get too many looks despite being a hybrid, it might be because most of these people have traveled a lot and probably have seen a hybrid before, or they assume he is just a freak trying to look like an Articuno, that isn't uncommon either.

The Snagem duo would eventually find themselves in a lobby of sorts in the middle of the ship. Light shone down from the glass roof above and one could easy walk out of the ship and onto the deck from either the left or right side as there were no walls. This area was used for people to just relax and enjoy their time in the company of other passengers. "It's nice here. Maybe you can hold me while I stand on the nose of the ship. How romantic would that be?" He told Blizz and laughed.

The laughter would end abruptly as two men walked into the middle of the room together and threw up signs in protest which read 'Pokes R Not Slaves!' and the other 'I'll Put YOU In A Ball!'. Once Sub got a good look at the pair slinging their signs around and yelling he realized who, or rather what, they were. "Get a load of the two Plasma goons." Sub said as he pointed to the raving pair who were shouting at people to release their Pokemon or else they'll start sending people overboard. "Throwing people overboard huh? That doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. Does it to you, Blizz?"

"You take one and I take one? There are two so..." Sub smiled as he watched the two Plasma grunts carry on with their little rant, it was cute and pathetic at the same time.
