Truths wasn't one to complain about silence. He followed after Tiger without another word, looking at the plants that she stopped to inspect. They all seemed the same to him. "So...what is it we're looking for, exactly?" he asked at last.

Tiger Balm paused hovering in mid air and looked over her shoulder to give Truths a withering stare. "Herbs." With that she continued moving about, occasionally making small, pleased sounds as she found something suitable. She'd spent enough time in the forest, and had even cultivated a lot of the herbal plants here, that finding what she was after didn't take too long. "Peppermint, rosemary, sage, chamomile flower, lemon balm... that should do it."

"Oh, really? And here I thought we were looking for poison," he mumbled, irked that Tiger seemed to take him for an idiot. "I meant specifically."
He got his answer soon enough, though, as the flutter began to list off a string of names. Obnoxious as the unicorn found Tiger, he couldn't help but be somewhat amused by the noises she made when she discovered something she was looking for.
"You're really at home here, aren't you?" he commented. "Why didn't you just put your shop near the forest? It would have been a great deal more convenient for you. And despite the fact that it's currently located in Phony city, I daresay you'd have better chances of attracting more hoof-traffic out here than in that dingy little back alley."

"Sure I love the forest, but I wouldn't live here. My shop is my home. It’s always been my home." Tiger Balm answered. It had been the place she had settled in when she had first come out of her packaging and she was comfortable there, despite the location. "I don’t need hoof-traffic. If someone needs me they’ll find me."
She shrugged. "Anyway, we’ll go back and I’ll package these up for you and then you can run off to your lady-friend."Kitomyx We can probably end this soon, if you wanted?

The unicorn grunted and shrugged in answer. It wasn't his business where the flutter lived or what she did with her life. Those were decisions for her to make and her alone.
"Alright," he agreed, preparing the help carry the herbs back so Tiger wouldn't be weighed down, small as she was. Even though they were just plants, he guessed that flutter phonies had to be incredibly light to fly, especially with those flimsy little bodies, and he figured any extra baggage would likely mess with their flight.
He cleared his throat, trying to stall for time as did his best to swallow his pride. "Thank you," he uttered. "For coming with me and finding these, even when you didn't want to. I won't forget it." His eyes glinted and a corner of his mouth turned up. "...Especially how you sounded and looked when you were with your beloved plants. I never would have guessed you could behave in such a way. It was...enlightening." Enlighteningly amusing.

Tiger Balm was used to the satchel and the extra weight of herbs, though it did indeed mess with her flight, which was why she landed in front of Hard Truths, planning to walk the rest of the way home. There was no way she was letting some colt help her carry her bag though. "You're welcome," she said, her expression darkening as he continued talking. Enlightening, her butt! "If I were you I'd expect a punch in the face." The Flutter stalked past him. "Now hurry up."Kitomyx They might even be sort-of-friends one day. xD
