TASK 3
The Goddess certainly seemed... cheerful. Mnezara eyed her and the cookie offered to her suspiciously, and shook her head. Tea party? What?
But she knew better than to defy the Goddess, and she sighed, stepping forward through the gate she was motioned towards.
...Well, this was odd. It was nothing like she had ever seen before in this world and she stretched out her palm to catch the strange flakes falling from the sky. But what was important was the table, wasn't it?
It was an easy enough decision to make. She reached out for the blue jar; Mnezara certainly didn't need whatever peppiness that the Goddess had exuded. Drink me. It told her, and she did so dutifully.
Immediately, she felt strange, as if there was something she had forgotten. The table began to spin, and she drew back, watching as snacks materialized on it. She picked up the cupcake, the tiny one that seemed lost, for some odd reason she couldn't explain.
As she swallowed down her first bite, another emotion overwhelmed her. I need a drink. She thought, and then noticed the tea cups on the table, reaching for the black one.
And then suddenly...

She is in the sea. Choppy waves surround her, as dark and black as the clouds that loom above, adding to the churning water with heavy raindrops that splattered on her, plastering her light blond hair to her skin. There is a crack and a flash of lightning lights up the sky, and her breathing is ragged, gasping as her vision swirls.
"Papa!" She yells, heart beating fast and sobs engulfing her. She is terrified, she is small, she is helpless, and she is lost. She cannot see anyone in these conditions, and she wonders if she is ever going to make it home in this state.
But she soon remembers what is important. Mama is gone. Mama is gone and all she could do was to hide behind a rock and watch. She had wanted so desperately, to leave her hiding position and swim towards the beach and help beg, but--
Mama had looked up from where she knelt, piercing blue eyes staring right at her, and shook her head ever so gently. And she had frozen in position. She could do nothing. Nothing except watch Mama get taken away and she was a failure and she couldn't do anything, not at all...
After they had left, she had immediately turned and swam as fast as she could. She had to find Papa. She had to find him and then maybe he could remedy this. Papa could, right? Papa would go and get Mama back and everything would be--
There is the rumble of thunder again in the distance and she looks around her. The water is black, the water is cold, and she sees no one at all.
"PAPA!" She yells. "PAPA!"
Her voice is growing hoarse, and her whole body feels heavy, as though there is a weight tied to her tail. She wonders if she will die here, if she will sink into these dark empty waters, all alone, and no one will know--

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Dark Blue Description: Sadness, despair, regret Your commentary on its flavour: When it came to this memory, all Ralifa wanted to do was take the small child and wrap her in her arms tight. Loosing a parent and being lost was the most traumatizing thing. No child should ever have to be alone. The storm that raged in the memory left her skin tingling. She wanted to curl into a ball and hide from it. Where was Papa? Her heart wept for the cruel fate. For the mother snatched away. To only watch from a hiding place, helpless and alone. To feel like there was nothing you could do. That it happened in order to protect you, but in the end it had a slightly opposite effect. Why hadn't she fought? So many questions ran through Ralifa's mind until the memory was gone. Whisked away as reality settled back in.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Dark blue Description: Dark and heavy, filled with sadness and pain. Your commentary on its flavour: The memory was heart wrenching to watch. To know this little girl was so afraid and had lost some one dear to her. Andie had tears in his eyes that threatened to fall down his face by the time it was through. He wished he could help the little girl but sadly knew there was nothing to be done for her as the past could not be changed.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Royal Blue Description: The tea tastes of seawater and forgotten memories. It is bitter, salty. Your commentary on its flavour: Chaesel stared at her empty teacup, perplexed. The other teas she'd tasted had had distinct endings, but not this one. This one left her hanging, wondering if the poor little girl ever got to her papa. And what of the mother? Why didn't the mother help? Why just stare like a bystander? She shook her head. Chaesel was feeling a little helpless herself after drinking it. It was too confusing.
