Ixb swished it in his mouth and then swallowed. He'd only ever tasted 2 things and this was one of them.

"Umm.." he glanced at the floating figure in the water. "Not like a cookie." Ixb grinned and pulled out his licked cookie to show.

After waiting for Imuiel to offer his shards at the Shrine, Shasa was more than eager to continue onward. The curiosity far outweighed the perils she knew to be out there. Fueled by the intent to forge friendships (for some reason it seemed oddly important to do so) Shasa drifted towards the odd pools she'd noticed while searching for fragments.

There were others there, and her features spread into a broad, odd smile.

"Hello."

Each Core was greeted in turn, a simple, small hello and a gentle, gaping smile.

"Hello."

To the next.

"Hello."

And so on until each of the strangers had been greeted.

"Shasa," she introduced herself before gesturing towards Imuiel (who she'd stuck close to), "and Imuiel. You are?"

While getting to the Moon Pool wasn't as difficult as he'd thought it would be, Imuiel still paused as they entered, briefly glancing around their new surroundings to get a better feel of things. There were others here, their hearts glowing bright against the terrain--he attempted a small smile, unaware that it wasn't quite visible. Facial expressions certainly were odd; the sensation of his face moving in that way was new, and he tested the waters slightly with a few more half-expressions. By this point, Shasa had already introduced them, and when he heard his name, he snapped back to attention, drawing himself up and presenting each with a slightly baleful silent greeting by means of a nod.

It was fairly clear that he had no objections to letting Shasa do the talking for now, content to observe and eventually participate at his own pace. Ixb's cookie merited a slight, curious lean towards the other shape, wondering just what it was that the other was holding.

"Cookie." Ixb looked at it again. "Got it from... the Goddess." It had taken him a moment to find the right word. "I liked her."

The goddess with the tray of cookies. She'd given them all one while she was there. He'd gained some understanding of what cookies were but he had no idea what they were for exactly.

"Gonna keep it I think." It seemed to disappear under some rough approximation of clothing, though there was no distinguishing for sure. "For the road."

They all had the Longing.. they could feel it in each other's hearts. He just seemed to know instinctively that there would be some sort of journey involved. In fact, Ixb's smile implied he was excited for whatever may happen.

"I don't know what better is," Sarviur admitted after a while. "That's the only chain I know, and I like it."

He felt the warmth of blue, blue hearts behind him, and he turned and smiled broadly at the approaching shadows. "Hello!" he called in answer, and he knew now that none of them were the same as him. "Shasa. Imuiel. Ixb." The words were calm, as if he were committing them to memory (it wouldn't be hard - Sarviur had so little to know, and so much to learn!). He pointed to himself, still peaceful. "Sarviur!" And he paused, quiet and observant, as they chattered about cookies and tokens (cookies! He knew cookies, although he could not remember how - cookies were Good.).

He missed Ganximei, who knew just as little as he did. Perhaps he ought to really search for her - he'd recognize her core, he thought. He dipped his hand under the water and splashed some onto his face - why, he did not know. He had not had time to get dirty, but it was cool like - like - like something he did not know, and he felt reassured. Water was black, but it was good. He waited for a brief lull, and said, like Shiohlu had earlier, "Something to do!" He lifted his hand almost instinctually - a wave - and he was off.

The clay pot quickly lost ReDawn's interest. Instead he spent time staring at the red moon's reflection in the pool before realizing his original task. He was collecting fragments. he only had... 2, he needed 3 more for the shrine. That was what the girl said... with that thought in mind he headed out.

Imuiel made a note to return here later--for now, he would draw back and analyze the information he had already collected. He moved quietly, slinking toward the entrance and pausing to wait and see if Shasa was following before actually leaving.

Character name: Imuiel.
Character appearance: Solid gray, though surprisingly tall and thin. His face shows a clear beak and appears to be a mask, and his heart is a deep blue. His fingers end in points that could be called short claws, but aside from those features, he's simply gray nothingness.

Vaneda had wandered far from her origin. The ruins were now dull and...ruined for her. The more blessings she had, the more she remembered. She couldn't put faces to people, but she knew they exsisted within her heart. She had two sisters, she knew. One of blood...A twin, and one of the heart and bond.

Both of them meant a lot too her, and both of them were lost to her. There was always others but of them, those two called to her the most. So when she went to the pool, looking deep into the dark reflective back, she imagined what it would feel like to have sisters.

Or people who cared.

Dipping her hand into the water, she swayed it around...and inspired, moved so that she could stick her feet in.

"Cold!"
