In a lot of ways Ashe is a bit of a 'domestic', while his mother tends to work long, busy hours Ashe is often left home alone, thus taking care of things like cooking and cleaning. After some time he even found that he enjoyed it. Essentially Ashe is muggle borne with no knowledge of Hogwarts, though in truth his estranged father was a wizard. Because Ashe never knew what it was like to have a father it isn't something he's ever felt like he'd missed out on, though after finding out what he was he began to wonder more about the man that gave him up.
Ashe knows nothing about what went on between his mother and father, mostly because it was never something they talked about, in truth though he was the child of a one-night stand. Back in the day his mother was quite the hippy (Something that's grown on him as well) and hooked up with a man she knew nothing about. Finding out he was a wizard was just as much a surprise to his mother as it was to Ashe.

Relationship with Family:
Ashe is close with his mother's side of the family, especially his uncle. His mother is often times very busy with work, when she was he was often babysat by his uncle or grandparents, his grandmother being where he learned to cook.  HISTORY General History:
Prior to learning about Hogwarts Ashe never cared to know anything about his father, his mother had always been there when he needed her and his uncle was more than happy to take on a father-like role in Ashe's life. While Ashe's mother IS in fact a busy woman running her own company she is fairly good for making time for her son, making sure they almost always could at least have dinner together so they could catch up on the day. To Ashe this is his favorite time of the day and food became something he loved because of it. He learned how to cook from his grandmother, however both he and his mother are vegetarians so he tends to adapt recipes to fit that in better.
After learning that he had been accepted into Hogwarts (Something neither he nor his mother believed for the first few letters), Ashe becomes curious about who his father is. Before that Ashe didn't know anything about him, suddenly knowing he is a wizard made him more of a mystery. Ashe has taken to thinking that just maybe if he does well at Hogwarts his father will be proud enough of him to see him at his graduation, thus Ashe vows to study hard and try out for the quidditch team (Every wizard likes it, his father probably does too, right?).
While at Hogwarts Ashe is interested in all his classes, even ones that aren't his forte, to him magic is something that never came across his mind as anything more than a fantasy novel here or there. Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures seem particularly interesting to him as he finds it hard to believe there are many animals or plants he'd never seen before. Defense Against the Dark Arts took him by surprise, in the short time between he learned about magic and went to his first class it surprised him that there were wizards that would do bad things with their powers, to him it was like a superhero using his powers to be a villain instead. If he had more of a future-plan he might consider being like a superhero and chasing them down himself. MISCELLANEOUS The Sorting:
Ambitious is certainly one word to describe Ashe, though he is a rather calm character he is also driven to his short-term goals (Never one to make long-term goals). He is very protective over his group of friends and family, usually keeping to a closer, tighter knit group as opposed to a larger group. While his traits could often be seen as a Hufflepuff when the hat inquired which he would rather he picked Slytherin.....they had a far nicer colour scheme. Plus he just liked snakes better than badgers. Ahhh, the mindset of one with no clue about the school.
Boggart:
"Just let me grab my--WHOA!" Ashe stalled as he stumbled away from his closet. Something followed him and that something looked angry! Or....as angry as an inanimate object could look? He ducked as it swung out at him, rolling back in his flopped over position. Ducking and dodging wasn't the easiest when he was half on the ground.
"Whoa, you had a boggart in your closet!"
"A what?!" Ashe's eyes stared at the floating sword, or to be more specific how he thought of War to look, weapons and destruction. The sword began swinging about threatening, lunging, slashing, almost as if propelled by an invisible hand. Some things with magic were just TOO WIERD! How was he supposed to deal with an inanimate object attacking him? He'd never even heard of something so absurd in his life! Then again, magic in any sense was pretty new to him, he wasn't sure of how to deal with many magical problems, it certainly was all a learning experience to him.
As he finally got up and managed to properly dodge a swing his questions were answered. "It's a creature that takes on the image of what you fear most! You have to imagine it as something hilarious that you can laugh at and say 'Ridiculous'!" He turned a dubious stare, he couldn't be serious. That just sounded......silly. How was he supposed to laugh at something that scared him? And with every swing that thing was scaring him even more!
He scrunched his nose, trying to imagine what would make the sword seem funny. "R-Ridiculous!" he shouted, pointing his wand at the sword as a wreath of flowers sprung up around it. Huh.....it worked....
Mirror of Erised:
This certainly was NOT the bathroom...
Ashe tentatively entered the room, eyeing the walls until his eyes landed on reflective surface. Oooh....a mirror, seemed like an odd place for it. Ashe walked curiously up to it but stopped dead in his tracks. Was that......that was?
Looking back at him was himself, but older....equally good looking of course, but he looked like he'd graduated from Hogwarts and....who was that? His eyes trailed over the older figure with a hand on Ashe's shoulder. An older man......look of swelling pride....similar features.....could that be...? He swallowed hard, still transfixed on the sight. That couldn't be his father, could it? Ashe had never seen his father before, never met him, no pictures even. His mother maybe had no reason to keep any pictures of him around?
Ashe had to wonder though, was that the future? Would he meet his father when he graduated? His throat tightened at the thought. He never needed to know who his father was, never had that much of a care...until suddenly the man he and his mother never talked about suddenly came into his life in a rather.....roundabout way. He never really thought about who his father was, there was no reason to, no one ever talked about him, there were no pictures of him....no evidence that man had any influence over his life, none until Hogwarts. Ever since he started going to the school he'd wondered about him. What house had he been in? How had he met Ashe's mother? How was he at his classes? Hell....what was his name?
"I guess......I have a couple years till I find out, huh?" he asked, eyes trained firmly on the older man. His father gave a sad smile and squeezed his mirror-shoulder. "Will you be proud I went to your old school? Wh-what should I do so that we can meet?" he asked hopefully. His father's look saddened as he shook his head, seemingly at a loss for words. He wanted to sit there with the father he never knew....but he knew he had to get back to bed. He swallowed again before turning away to leave, but as he left he couldn't resist those sparing glances back at the mirror.

Ashe is harboring the beginnings of a crush on Avery, he's very fond of her and will most likely be rather saddened to know he isn't her type. Until then, however, he will surely have plenty fun with his very first crush.

Trevor is likable enough to Ashe, perhaps not his favorite person since they have very different interests, however he certainly harbors no ill will towards him thus far.
