"Of course it is, sweetheart," he said, making a distracted gesture at an empty corner (or in other words, any given corner) for her to drop her armful. He actually partially folded himself up to sit on the floor before he remembered that furniture was a thing now, and caught himself. And then he just stood there, and decided to occupy his hands with food. He sniffed at a cupcake apparently selected at random, appraisingly, apparently not thinking that this would be offensive. "I'm not really that great at... going forth and socializing," he said drily. "I think you must have a natural knack for it."

Delighted, Molly took a few moments to pull off her boots and then place them neatly beside the door, and stepped in. As gestured, she placed the cleaning supplies down in a corner, and turned back towards the trainee. She gave a small wave of her hand, and moved closer, since she did say she’d take one cupcake. “Oh, I’m sure that’s not true!” She replied. “I mean, I think you’re doing very well already, based on the Twitters! Plus, I think everyone here is very friendly—“ Though the right word was probably nosy “—so I think you’ll find yourself making bonds soon! I think you’re very nice…so we can be friends!” Molly announced, which was quickly followed up by a sheepish look. “O-only if that’s okay with you, and if you’d want to, of course!”

Lucyal fdjafdj she's so cute lmao. i think there's probably only a couple more posts in here, yes? /squeezes her Well, that threw him for a loop. He never really knew how to act around people like Molly, all enthusiasm and good nature. It made him feel embarrassed and also--it will out--faintly guilty. Taym did not blush when he was embarrassed. He raised his hackles and bared his teeth, normally, but this didn't seem like an appropriate time to do that, so he settled for startled sincerity. "See, you do have a natural knack," he said. "Picking up friends left and right." Close enough. Being described as nice made him uncomfortable, as he suspected, in the darkest corner of his heart, that this was not true. "Ladies first," he added, gesturing with his cupcake, which he still had yet to try.

Rejam Ahh you're too kind XD <3 I have been loving the heck out of this RP, but sadly all things must come to an end. Yes'm, a few more posts I think too! Molly usually didn’t like to make assumptions…but she’d take this as a yes, because he would have said otherwise if that was the case, right? Yay! Molly beamed brightly. “No…I just think it’s nice if we all get along the best we can…” Freckled fingers hovered over the cupcakes, before she settled on a green cupcake with white frosting, and worked at pulling off the wrapper. “All we have is each other on this Island, after all.” Hopefully she didn’t need to elaborate all that that implied. The same group of people until the day they keeled over. “But ah…Obadiah? If you need anything, or if there’s anything I can help you with, please don’t hesitate, alright? You have my number and…uh…during the day if I’m not on duty, I can be found in room 215…and a lot of nights I’ve been spending with my good friend, Jeremy, in room 117! Just in case.” She took a bite out of her cupcake then. “This one is melon flavored!”

He had never heard of melon flavored cupcakes, and had a brief moment of mourning that he hadn't tried it. Spending the nights in Jeremy's room. He gave her a sideways look. Twitter had given him the impression that the entire island was bed-hopping, and he wasn't entirely sure what to make of that. Don't piss where you sleep, that's what he made out of it. "I'll make sure you're at the top of my list if I need any help," he promised her, finally allowing himself a bite and perching on the corner of the bed. He sat down like he expected to have to get up again at a moment's notice, without a trace of easiness or relaxation. "This is delicious, Molly Finn," he said sincerely. He ate very slowly, and very carefully. "You ought to start running a racket out of Candace's apartment, you could be sleeping on mink blankets and eating caviar five times a week."

Rejam Wrap tag from me! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE RP <333 I had a blast...let's do this again sometime : D! As if somehow reading that side ways look, Molly uttered: “Sometimes Miss Candace has her boyfriend over, and I don’t want to be in their way~ So Jeremy lets me sleep in his room at night! He’s really nice.” And Molly saying ‘not being in their way’ was the nice way of saying she didn’t want to be there when they got ah… frisky. Molly just smiled widely, and finished her cupcake, mindful of any crumbs as she crumpled up the paper and tucked it into her coat pocket. “I’m glad, and you’re too kind!” His suggestion did earn him an honest laugh from the young woman, who was amused by the idea. “Just as long as I get to share mink blankets and caviar with every—“ Molly immediately paused and her hazel eyes went wide. Speaking of cupcakes. “ Oh my gosh!” She cried, horrified, staring at Taym with a haunted look. “ I left some in the oven!” She’d just been so excited to go meet up with him earlier, she forgot! Molly dashed for the door, and quickly pulled on her boots, hopping lightly as she looked over her shoulder at him. “I’m so sorry! I got to go! If you need anything please ask and there’s the cleaning supplies and have a good day and eat breakfast tomorrow please!” She then zipped out of the room…only to pop her head back in a few moments later. “It was really nice to meet you!” Then she was gone for real that time…to salvage some very crispy cupcakes.
