"Tox...kickity...?" Eidel murmured the name to herself stumbling over it a couple of times before she had it correctly enough for her own purposes, but toward the end Toxkickity became Toxikikity.
Whether or not the new addition to the group would correct her was another matter.
She looked a bit guilty at being reminded about what she'd been told about stranger interaction and the further teasing words of the other girl, "I...I do listen! I just forget sometimes because I get excited!" Eidel pouted.
Eidel loved meeting people. Perhaps a bit too much.

The fur on Alex's body, from tip of ear to tip of tail, stood up. Her eyes narrowed and her ears laid back. She did not like that this Toxkickity was teasing her new friend. It did not seem to phase her that the teasing was also directed at her as well. "You leave her alone! No one is perfect!"
Alex took in a deep breath and forced her friendly nature to show once more. "Well you know what," she stuffed her hands in her pockets, "if you cannot tell us your real name we cannot tell you ours!"
Alex glanced over at Eidel, "she's Space Star," it was the best she could come up with. Creativity wasn't her strong point. She knew that Eidel was an alien (whatever that was) and liked space. Stars were in space.
"And, I'm Pine Kitty," Alex pointed to her chest. She came up with that one because she liked trees and Pine was a type of tree and also she was a cat.
She really didn't care how silly these names sounded, they worked!

Tox snickered, "I was teasing YOU, too there fuzzball. You're getting all angry cause I'm right. You're telling me why you should listen but you don't do it."
The girl shrugged and waved a hand, "Unlike you I don't care if you tell me your names or not. No one told me not to talk to strangers. I can talk to who I like. All this freakiness isn't actually helping anyone with anything, it's just making people act silly. Besides, I heard you say your names. You're Alex and she's Eidel. You're a cat and she's an alien."
Tox grinned at the feline girl and cocked her head to the side. "You don't even know what you're bein' scared of, cause you didn't listen, so right now the not talking to strangers thing doesn't make sense. You're just making excuses to make up for not having listened very well and made a mistake. Anyway, it's not like your caretakers are gonna catch you having talked to someone else. They probably only said that stuff so you don't go just jumping into things or get stolen or something."

Eidel would have protested Alex's 'fake name' if it hadn't been for the fact that the whole thing was rationalized to where it made enough logical sense that Eidel accepted it.
Then again it seemed Tox already knew their names.
She bounced a bit on her feet, not angry at being teased but it was likely that she didn't even register the teasing, "I just forgot about not being able to talk to strangers," Eidel reiterated her defense as if it had become a mantra.
Silly Tox had apparently forgot.
Eidel didn't honestly seem angry or upset, "Mmm. I guess that makes sense, it is a little silly. It isn't like people are dying, but sometimes people need to feel safe and when things are stolen people don't feel that safe...?"

"You cannot tease me anymore than I'm already teased," Alex stuck her tongue out. "I have three other siblings. I have heard it all. I've even been called piglet." She sounded almost too proud about this.
"Who said we were scared? I'm not scared at all. And no one ever told me I couldn't talk to strangers." Alex was on the defensive again. The easiest way to show was her denying things.
"And, I'd like to see someone try and steal me or hurt me. They wouldn't live after facing my mothers wrath." In that aspect she really liked being apart of a family.
Alex glanced over at Eidel. "Let's stop standing around here and lets get to the park." She glanced over at Toxkickity. "You coming?" They could walk and debate. She knew that much from having siblings.

Tox snorted, "You're cool, Eidel. I'll poke you later. I can't stand Kittenfluff her for another minute or I'ma kick her. Toodles.' she gave Alex and Eidel light punches on the arm and darted off back the way she'd come.
Please roll a 10 sided die each of you.

Eidel blinked at Tox's departure and sort of swayed a bit at the punch to the arm. It was a light punch and thus didn't hurt but that didn't mean she was familiar with this sort of 'parting shot' from someone. "Uhh. I like you, too...?"
That was so weird.
She shrugged a bit and nodded to Alex, "Let's go. .. .. ?" The teen started to wander forward.

Alex blinked a bit. She didn't care if someone liked her or not. She was not here to be cool or to be the next in thing.
She shrugged her shoulders, "Sure let's go."

Eidel went quiet for a small bit as she wandered into the park with Alex. Her expression was a little troubled but she didn't lose her friendly demeanor, "Was a little random, wasn't it?"

"Yes a bit random." Alex leaned into Eidel a bit. "Don't think to much of it."
Victoria was just coming from the park. Her pace was frantic and she was looking in the stupidest of places for something/someone. It wasn't made apparent what she was looking for until she called out for Alex.
Alex's ears folded back. "That would be the 'rent."

Eidel draped an arm around Alex and gave a quick one armed hug as she nodded, "Okay! Good as forgotten."
Sort of. Until she talked to her caregiver about what happened.
Thinking of Caregivers, Eidel let out a small giggle as she took Alex by the hand and lightly tugged her over toward the source of the voice, "C'mon face the music! She'll just be happy you're okay," she replied.

Alex returned the one armed hug.
As Eidel tugged her in the direction of the voice she quickly found her footing. "I'm sure you're right about that." She tried to sound as positive about this as Eidel.
"There you are!" Victoria excitedly pulled her daughter into a hug. Completely obvious to the other girl there she then pushed her away and proceeded to spin her around. She was thoroughly checking her daughter out.
"Mom! Mom! Hey! MOM!"
"Don't you ever, ever do that again!" That was as close to scolding as she was going to do. Right now was not the time for it.
Alex was thankful that there was no lick spit or slobbery kisses involved. "This is Eidel." She hoped this would stop her mother from further anything.
"Oh... Hello..." Victoria smiled at the girl.

Eidel just watched the reunion with a small grin and her hands folded behind her back. Yep! Another happy reunion.
When attention was called to her, the teen let out a bit of a giggle and she gave a small curtsy with her skirt, "Hi! I hope it is okay that I helped Alex to come find you!"

"Yes, it is okay. I really appreciate you helping her. She can be a handful at times." Victoria glanced over at her daughter and smiled. "So, who do I owe thanks to?"
Alex's fur ruffled a bit as her mom pointed out her flaw. Not that she saw it as a flaw.

"Oh! I'm Eidel! I live at the apartments with my sister and caregiver," Eidel beamed happily as she simply poured out information as if she'd known the woman since forever.
It seemed it would take a lot to make the girl cautious around strangers.
There was a second's pause before she added, "Pleased to meet you! Alex is very fun to talk to."
