The Sage couldn't help but to laugh as Burrom told him that he'd done well, giving the Firani Dovaa a hearty clap on the back, "Of course I did! I am not called a Sage for nothing, Burrom, I have my moments where I look good." He said, giving a grin before he walked over to his fire pit, starring into a moment before he tossed some wood onto the long dead fire, "Mind giving it a little spark? You might as well since you're here and I am sure you are more then eager to help me out after the long trip I went on for you." He said, giving a bit of a grin as he then went to gather what he would need to start some tea and a warm meal, both of which he'd been looking forward to since he'd landed on the shores of Ayr, "You are welcome to stay... though I am sure you are eager to run home?" He doubted Burrom would stay long, the man seemed to be driven to get this orb back to his daughter, a good thing he was sure, the orb was meant for the girl after all.
Giving a chuckle when Burrom spoke of going through the same trial when he was a boy he nodded, "Yes, such good memories of days gone by. Each time I see one of these orbs into the hands of those who need them I can't help but to feel nostalgic myself, as though I am some old man." He puffed up a moment, as though to show he was anything but old... before he put the kettle on over the fire pit for his tea, something that seemed to make him seem a touch older then he wanted to be. Not that the title of Sage didn't add to his supposed age, something he preferred not to think about if he didn't have to, "Are you heading out straight away then?"

The dovaa man had to resist rolling his eyes, after all the sage may decide to be offended and take the orb back...though it would be with a fight. Burrom had already been working on wrapping the orb up safely in some cloth before slipping it into his own napsack snugly before he stood back up and slipped it over his shoulder. It was like the sage had read his mind about leaving promptly.
"I have lots to due to get the girl ready. So I hope you won't be offended that I am leaving quickly." Shifting the pack on his back he then slipped his hand into his coin purse and took out a few more coins slipping it towards the Sage on the table before him. "I will be back eventually if you are that lonely. I need time to get away after all."

The Sage looked at the offered coins before giving a bit of a chuckle, taking them and tucked them away into the pocket of his robes. He wouldn't need them for a while but it was nice to have some coins on hand just in case the need arose, most likely in Junjie instead of himself, "A shame that you are unable to stay but I understand." He said, watching him for a long moment before reached out to pat him on the shoulder, "Do remind her that she needs to work hard, the power of a Firani is a dangerous one without a lot of training to control the fiery nature of such a dragon." He told Burrom, a fact the man should well know. With that he drifted over to settled into his chair, waiting on the his kettle to whistle.
"Do feel free to visit, I have no plans to leave Ayr anytime soon, I find the quiet to my liking." He said, wondering if perhaps he was getting old... a thought he shook of vehemently before he opened up one of his new books, determined to read a good portion of it before bed. Unless Junjie happened by he should have plenty of time to catch up on the reading he'd missed out on while on the errand for Burrom, "Have a good day, Burrom, and good luck with what is to come."

Burrom paused as he was about to leave, looking over his shoulder as the Sage invited him to come visit. Thinking on it, it may be a good idea in the near future. After all he would need to make himself scarce for awhile. "Yes...maybe some day soon you will see me again." Burrom stated with a slight nod of his head. Turning he gave a wave to the man as he exited and made his way back home. Continued as Solo in Journal - X
