Adriana looked around hesitantly, both hands still clutching Thomas' arm as she flinched each time she heard the droplet. It seemed anything and everything was setting her on edge right now.
The communal showers only earned a glum look as she fidgeted with her shoes. If they got out of this alive, all she wanted was to take a nice long shower, and not have to worry about scary things trying to kill them. Well, it might take her a while to get over it, but... safety in numbers, right? Which was why when Rin started ushering them back to the sewers, she didn't complain, but... her feet were killing her. Maybe walking around in high heels wasn't such a practical thing when fleeing for your life.
"A-ah, Rin?" She had managed to take a peek at the security guard's name badge, a small wave of relief knowing that they were guided by a staff, who should know more or less what to do. "C-could I have the running shoes? I think it'd be better than wearing these." She had always loved wearing cute fashionable stuff, but such things mattered little when one's life was at stake. She figured she could live with her shoes clashing with her outfit a bit... if she did end up surviving in the end.
Adriana is doubling back with the group!

Chris ran a hand through his hair nervously then pushed his glasses up on his nose. "Right, if you think our chances are better leaving then lets go." He agreed. He wasn't sure if there would be another way out doubling back except if they went all the way back to the beginning but better then nothing.
Penelope sighed, her fingers digging into her palm as she grimaced at the room. Hearing Rin say things about creatures in the night... yeah, she believed it. She believed it far more than she wanted to.
"Rin," Penelope murmured softly. "Would you like me to scout ahead, or just keep watch on the back of the group?" The redhead was all serious now, that detective look in her eyes as she adjusted her hat.
[Following the group.]

He was glad Adriana was clinging to him. He was glad to be of some comfort to someone, and to have comfort of his own, too. He was also glad to see that their group held a few folks he recognized, and that their leader seemed to have a good head on their shoulders. Times like this you needed comfort and security, however you could find it.
He tried to be alert as he followed the group up out of the sewers. Somehow, showers were creepier than sewers. They left Thomas feeling much more exposed, or something. Which was part of the reason he offered no objections to going back to the sewers. Their guide also made a very good case for staying in the sewers.
"Sounds good to me." He saw no point in splitting up and running around this creepy unknown building with who knew what. He made sure to keep on hand on Adriana's arm as he followed the group back down. He also tried to stay near the folks he recognized. Small comforts, man. Small comforts.
And then he was backing out of the building with everyone.
Rebbeca grabbed the icepack for herself and put it in a pocket. Her migraine was already clearing but who knew further down the road, somone could sprain something, or worst.
"Get a move on ladies and gentleman, we don't want to be too close to the action. You never get good shots when you are in direct danger anyway." yes she was still thinking about pictures. Getting a nervous finger always blurred them.

Once again in the sewers, the party traces their path back, away from the dangers of the containment facility. At first, the way is much as was before, but after awhile, the tunnel begins shudder and shake. The shriek of tearing metal sounds in the distance for a moment before the entire tunnel collapses into the ocean. Water rushes through the pipe as it sinks down.

Roll 1 d100
If you roll 1-20 : between the debris, the current, and the reaching hands and tentacles housed in the island waters, you have died. If your body ever resurfaces again, it will be in several pieces, none of which are in good condition. Go here.
If you roll 21-90 : you wash up here, a bit battered and bruised. (-10 hp)
If you roll 91-100 : you wash up here, a bit battered and bruised. (-5 hp)

Rin had only just finished covering the hole and ushering the group down the way toward the 'safety' of anywhere else. Sadly, they never made it somewhere else. She flinched at the creaking, assuming it was a monster about to appear, but rather than that she suddenly found the ground gone and water rushing in.
"Well f-!" Anyone could guess what she was about to say as she was carried off rather harshly to heavens knew where. She'd figure it out when and if she surfaced..
The sound of screeching metal was not pleasant to the ears, but worst was the water. “My camera!” so it wasn’t her camera but it was the only thing she had. Worst was the actuall water, she was being flushed and a bit got in her mouth. Ewe! She tried her best to swim… anywhere really but in the haze, she didn’t really see where she was going.
Chris had just enough time to wonder if it would have been safer back at the building before the the pipes crashed down into the water. The world for the next few minutes was nothing but the salty liquid and his desperate attempts to swim to the surface for breath. Some how he managed it and the water pushed him off to the shore.
Penelope hadn't seen it coming. She jerked up as she heard water rushing down, and stood like a deer in headlights for one moment as she calculated in her mind just what that meant.
Then she slid her feet apart, bracing herself. She was at the back of the group, and she knew that she couldn't take the brunt of the water, but instinct told her that this would at least probably help.
She was thrust away, swirling in the water to somewhere else.

Before Wayra could receive an answer to he question, a deafening groan sounded throughout the tunnel. Before she could contemplate what was happening, the tunnel started collapsing and water started gushing towards them.
Wayra took a gulp of breath just before the current hit her. She felt temped to let go at the sudden impact, but she held on nonetheless. Swimming with the current, she made her way towards the only light she could see. Once the entrance of the damaged tunnel was cleared, Wayra made a beeline for the surface. Her lungs were aching with the need to breath, urging her to kick faster.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the vet broke the surface. "Not... the most conventional way... but it works...", she gasped around gulps of air. Beautiful, precious air.
As Steve started walking back down the tunnel, He felt a sudden shake, he glances back thinking that something followed them down. He was just about to run before he heard metal and felt a rush of water hit him in the chest "NOOOO" he cried out. He wasn't sure where he was going but he knew he was no longer safe.
Everything was going alright for now. Though, Chris soon noticed that the tunnels were creaking. More than creaking really. They had begun to shudder. Tremble.
"s**t. That doesn't soun--"
He was cut off as a torrent of water suddenly came surging through, knocking him over and sending him elsewhere.
The creaking and other noises that reached the group sent chills up and down Thomas's spine. The bad kind, like the chills nails on a chalk board gave him.
He managed to squeeze Adriana's arm tightly before the tunnel gave way around them and the water came rushing in. Somewhere in all of that he lost hold of her, and panic set in as the current grabbed hold of him instead. He tried not to breathe, he tried to swim and find the surface. Broken bits of metal and who knew what else smashing into his head didn't help him find his bearings, and really, the current was just too much.
One of his last conscious thoughts was that something alive had touched him, grabbed him around the ankle, but he would never be sure. By that point his lungs burned and his head spun and his world was going painfully black. Or was it mercifully going black?
Thomas knew, but as they say, dead men tell no tales.
When the path began to shudder, Adriana let out a yelp, and as the tunnel collapsed, she had let go of Thomas' arm at some point, tossed about until she finally re-surfaced.
