The sound of the oven door snapping and banging against the ground under all three-hundred pounds of Godly muscle echoed through the kitchen, followed by a roar of pain. With nothing to break the fall, that maneuver wasn't exactly pain free. Matt's spine was jarred from the failed attempt to crush King, but he wasn't going to give up. He was already reaching up to the 'island' to lift himself back to his feet, each breath filled with a seething rage.

A witty response was on it's way as soon as King had spoke; unfortunately, so was that drawer that Kelly had brought swinging overhead. The wooden drawer smashed over Matt's head, causing him to fall back down onto the oven door with a loud groan. A thin line of blood began to seep from his scalp, covering his palm as he held his head; yet somehow, he was already beginning to try to stand once more.

The God of Punks was too disoriented to fight back, allowing King to lift him up to a slouched position with ease. Even as he was spun around, he showed no signs of fighting back; one of Matt's best tactics was playing possum, as some might know. As soon as he was about to be tossed into the oven, those massive arms of his shot up and grabbed onto the edges of it, bringing King's progress to a grinding halt. Once the momentum had stopped, he'd shoot an elbow backwards in an attempt to hit his rival in... No, not his stomach, but his groin!

With King temporarily disabled, Matt brought himself up to his full height, taking a moment to crack his neck after the not-so-pleasant encounter he had with the drawer. Turning to face King, he attempted to grab the doubled over man by the back of his neck and the waist of his pants, just as Kelly had done to him a moment ago. Except, unlike his best friend, The God of Punks attempted to hoist the man up into the air and above his head with a mighty roar to emphasize his brute power, just as he had done at the Royal Rumble.

With King hoisted above his head, Matt was in prime position to break the man once again. For Shanahan, time seemed to slow down for this moment alone, as his body surged with adrenaline. With a house-shaking yell, he attempted to throw Kelly King clear across the kitchen and into the cabinets up on the wall with the almighty maneuver that had been coined as "The Toss."

Breath after breath heaved from Matt's chest afterwards, while he ran a hand through his blood-soaked black locks. Trails of blood had made their way down his face, but he hadn't noticed; it wasn't anything new to him. "C'mon... Let's go check on little Kayla and Carmyne..." The God of Punks muttered as he walked around the 'island' and over to King, attempting to grab the man by his hair once more and lift him up to his feet. If successful, he'd keep that grip on his hair and try to drag him through the dining room and living room, looking for the stairs to the upper level.

Matt was completely aware of his surroundings, and he had spotted Carmyne at the top of the steps as he came to the foot of the staircase. However, he wasn't prepared for the teenager to assault him. The glass frame shattered over The God of Punk's head as it came into contact with his skull, causing him to let go of King and stumble back a step. "You little s**t!" He roared while grasping his forehead for a moment, nursing the new gash that the glass had caused.
