Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner "I see," was all that Luo followed up with as Zdura told him just a bit more before the topic was considered closed on both parts. Watching him create yet another longer needle that seemed to be grooved, Luo simply took the time to pay attention to what the man was doing. When the man gazed at the first weapon for not more than a second, Luo found himself not surprised. With as much as the man seemed to know about him, he'd be sure to have heard of Luo's primary weapon and what it was said to be and do. Luo didn't tell anyone that couldn't get it why he designed it the way he did, but the truth was the sword was modeled after Nuibari, the legendary Sewing Needle of Kirigakure. Being sealed away until needed however, it was a weapon even Luo had never laid eyes on. His version was of course tailored to his unusual gift of the senbon. The deadly accurate weapon that could go from long to short range quickly, was quite literally capable of skewering opponents together simply by sheer force. It was a neat weapon, however Luo had met some who were quite capable of overcoming it, hence the other weapon he had.
As Zdura got to the next one, he whistled, forcing Luo to let out just a small grin. Admittedly, Luo was proud of the weapon, however just as well still somewhat mystified by it. It's story was odd, and just as well it was an odd weapon. It's story was definitely unknown, he never bothered to tell the story to anyone. His father and grandfather saw it and didn't ask, deciding it was something Luo was to reveal in his own time. He had only used it a handful of times, either to handle multiple enemies at once, or change his strategy from what was the norm with Senbon Sakura, which was rarely necessary. In those few times he used it, no one survived to speak of it, unless Luo had been paired with them on a mission requiring its use. It seemed when Luo's sensei glanced it, he planned a few missions around it. Other than that, no one who saw it talked about it, since of course missions requiring it and Luo were classified. The true price Luo paid for getting this procedure done was not one-hundred gold pieces, but the information that the weapon exists being revealed to someone. He had weighed the pros and cons of the situation, and decided it was worth the slight risk. After all, the man did not know what it was even capable of, and Luo planned to keep it that way.
As he seemed to be processing something as he stared at it for a moment, Luo wondered what Zdura was thinking. As he did however, the man seemed to go back to work on the task, asking Luo to produce his hands. Placing them gently on the desk, one could tell his hands despite being a man of the sword, were well manicured. His nails were trimmed neatly, even polished it seemed. His hands felt smooth, as if rubbed with oils daily. It was a small thing, however it was a clear indication of a slight pride in cleanliness on Luo's part, and of course his lifestyle. Which was why, he had asked earlier if the tattoo's could be removed. Still, one could look on the nape of his neck and see the same symbol embedded into the skin as a chakra burn, one which was definitely permanent. However, it laid under his hair so it was rarely seen unless he was moving a lot. In any case he exhaled deeply, sighing to himself a bit at what was about to occur. He hoped it was as worth it as he had decided it to be.

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura reached out with his left hand to shift the position of Luo's own hand, as with a flick of his right hand a small crystal knife appeared in said hand. He intended to use the new blade to shave any hair off the back of Luo's hand, to be sure of the smoothest working area, but as his thumb ran over the man's skin he found it to be quite smooth already. Evidently Luo was a man not unfamiliar with the art of the manicure. Another odd bit of trivia for his collection.. Setting aside the knife as it turned out to be unneeded, Zdura instead moved the vial of blooded ink into an easier position to work from, positioning all the little bits he needed before picking up the bottle of spirits. Popping the cork, and noting the lack of a rag, he tipped some out such that it would fall on Luo's hand, and rubbed it in with his thumb. Once he was satisfied, he set the bottle aside again, returning the cork to it's rightful place. Finally taking up the grooved needle, he dipped it in the ink with one hand, while spreading Luo's fingers to create the flattest working space possible. With one last look at the symbol he was to mimic, he moved the needle into position, gently stabbing into a pore near the knuckle of the middle finger. He would start with the ring, as that was a common part of most seals, and thus would need the least fine tuning later. After a few seconds of holing the needle in place, he pulled it back, shifting a bit to the side and repeating the process, which he would continue until the needle ran out of ink, at which point he would dip it again, and repeat. The process quickly fell into routine as the ring slowly took shape, so Zdura decided to fill the silence, as his attention was barely needed at this stage. "This step is creating the medium for chakra flow. The ink itself does nothing at this stage but create a path. I'll shape the seal workings within the tattoo, and then move on to the priming stage. At that point I inject chakra and guide it through the ink, merging them into the pathways I mentioned earlier. That will complete the seal, at which point it can be used, and I'll fill in any gaps left in the tattoo. It's a bit of an extension on the process, but it makes priming easier to not have the extra ink in the way." he explained, hand now moving automatically as it completed the ring and began the first wing of what he assumed was a stylized whirlpool, just under the knuckle. That would place one just under the knuckles, one aimed at the wrist, and the other two on either side of the hand. ~ [Chakra: 205]Is it obvious that I actually know nothing about making tattoos yet? I'm just doing what sounds like it'd work. XD

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Zdura explained the process a bit more, Luo's understanding of sealing grew slightly. His pre-conceived fear of the ability to deconstruct chakra pathways was laid to rest as he began to understand clearly what he meant by the term 'chakra pathways'. The realization came with relief, as his previous thoughts on the matter took the ability to an extent he found to be dangerous. The pain was meager at best, Luo was able to sit through the process quietly without much discomfort. Deciding to strike up conversation, Luo looked up at the man. "Have you ever been to Lightning Country Zdura?" In truth, Luo had only been there once as a genin, and they were travelling through there instead of staying. The mountains he saw in the distance looked beautiful, and he wondered how tall they were. It was a pity the meeting was to be held in Shimogakure, however he wagered he'd see Kumogakure soon enough.

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura took a moment before responding, more focused on getting the center of the tattoo correct than formulating a response. The line was incredibly thin at that point, but still there nonetheless, and he needed it intact to form the connection to the man's tenketsu. After a few seconds, and he started working outwards into the next wing, he shook his head in the negative. "I may have skirted the border a few times, but I don't believe I've ever spent any great deal of time in the country. Most of my life, both before and after joining Otogakure was spent in the lesser countries. Those the main villages either didn't care about, or couldn't get to quickly enough. Perhaps one didn't care about the mission, and another was under treaty to stay out of that area. Those were the places I picked up my missions. I spent some time in Fire too, mostly just traveling, but the occasional mission came up even there."As he finished speaking, the clone also finished his work, the needle leaving Luo's skin as the last wing of the whirlpool took form. There were gaps in the design, just as Zdura had said before, but if one looked closely, the entire design was made up not of shapes, but lines weaving throughout the design, intersecting at some points and completely avoiding each other at others. They could be traced from the outer edges of the ring, to the very center of the whirlpool design, where they came to an end, and would be linked to the man's chakra system when it was primed. "Would you like to prime and test this one now, or start work on the other first? The positioning makes it a bit more complicated than my initial suggestion, since the sword will appear behind your hand rather than in front of it, so you'll likely want a bit of practice before we arrive regardless." the clone stated, setting his needle in the vial of ink as he waited for the response. ~ [Chakra: 305]

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Nodding to what Zdura said, Luo chimed in a bit. "My experience with the country is about as thorough as your own. I've passed through the country-side on a few missions, however that is about it. I suppose the time will come at some point for me to see the village, until then Shimogakure is about as close as I'll be getting." When the masked gentleman at last finished his work on the first seal, Luo looked at it under the light. When the light struck it just right, a crimson tinge ran through the tattoo, otherwise it was black as requested. When the sealing master began to explain where the weapon would appear and asked Luo's preference on the subject, the young kage had an immediate change of heart. "I'd like to practise with this one, however just as well I think it is the only seal I need done. Sealing Senbon Sakura would mean sealing her with her sheath, otherwise the integrity of the weapon is compromised." Luo didn't particularly want to go into detail about the integrity of the weapon being compromised or how, especially since he'd yet to drop the weapon in battle.
After a second, Luo continued. "It would be a complete waist of time and even less efficient if I had to summon the weapon, unsheathe her, and then attack. With Seigyoku Tosaka I'm avoided the luxury of not having a sheath, however as Senbon Sakura is my main katana, I will keep her by my side." Standing up, Luo took a better look at the seal as he answered the previously asked question. "I suppose I might as well go and test this out however if I'm going to get used to it. The work looks nice Zdura, thank you." Turning around, he began back up the stairs, wondering if Zdura would follow. By this time they were officially out of Water Country waters, having entered international waters, Luo felt the journey had at last begun. Wrapping his fingers around the door, Luo opened it as a gust of sea air struck his face. As his hair blew back, he walked onto the front of the ship and stood for a moment, cracking his fingers. "Well, let's see how this is going to go."

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura nodded along with Luo's reasoning. It made sense for the most part, and he mentally tacked on the unmentioned fact that Senbon Sakura could easily masquerade as a typical katana in it's sheathe, while the other most certainly would not go unnoticed. He smiled in response to Luo's compliment of the incomplete tattoo, only to blink in surprise as the man stood and headed for the door. "Ah!" he started to call out, too late as the man had already left the room. Standing to follow, Zdura grabbed the sealing supplies and followed Luo out, catching up only once he found the man on deck, preparing to use the seal. "It won't work yet." he spoke quickly, before the man could attempt to activate, and potentially ruin the seal by flooding it improperly with chakra. "I still need to prime the seal, and construct the chakra pathways. The ink is only a medium for the true seal." he explained, basically repeating what he had said at the start of the process, but attempting to be more clear, unsure if the man had misunderstood or simply thought he had performed that process during the inking. "If you like, I can do that now." he finished, holding out his hand in a silent request for Luo to offer his own. If and when he did, Zdura took it in his left hand, and laid his right index finger on the center of the seal. "You'll probably feel a tingling sensation moving in your skin while my chakra moves through the seal. I'd like you to follow it with your own chakra, so that I can use a bit of your own in the process. Trying to prime it with just my own when it uses your blood would make a weak connection." he explained, before pushing his chakra into the seal. Starting at the center, he focused on where he knew from his studies the tenketsu to be, focusing on linking the seal into it, and attaching his chakra to Luo's own, once it was provided. Once he felt the connection was made, he slowly guided his chakra through the lines of the seal, pausing occasionally to wait for Luo's to catch up so that he could tie it into specific areas more thoroughly, before moving on, through first one wing of the seal, and then another until he'd gone through all four, and from the fourth, he entered the ring, where he split his chakra, sending it in two directions around the ring, and meeting at the other end. After tying Luo's chakra tightly into that point, he pulled back, releasing the man's hand and stepping back a single step. "That should do it. It will work like any other storage seal for you, but do nothing for anyone else. You only need to place whatever you want sealed against the seal, and activate it. Activating it again will, of course, release the object. This particular seal has a max space of one cubic foot, but it will shape itself to whatever you add, so the sword should fit fine." Finished with his short and basic explanation, given more to explain the similarities between this and publicly available seals than to explain how a storage seal worked, he gestured for the man to continue with his original intent, trying out the seal. ~ [Chakra: 305]

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Luo stood at the ready to perform what was needed, he was surprised to see the door to the lower deck swing open quickly. Just as fast, Zdura mentioned the seal not working yet. Luo raised an eyebrow, having assumed the seal had previously been primed however that was apparently not the case. Nodding to his request, Luo held out his hand and began to trace the lines, following the tingling movements of Zdura's chakra. The Ushio clan had always had fine chakra control, due in part to the ability they possessed. So it was safe to say that Luo had no trouble following the movement's of Zdura's own chakra running through his hand.
The tingling to be honest felt more like a slight burning, as if someone were attempting to brand him with a not-so-hot branding iron, nonetheless he took the sensation in stride. It wasn't exactly the worst hot sensation he had ever felt after all. The process took all of five minutes, Luo not realizing before just how intricate the seal pathways actually were. They felt as if they were latticed intricately throughout the Ushio clan crest, with lines connecting each part of the seal to the next in the design. When the work was complete, Luo took a step back as Zdura did the same. Nodding towards the short explanation, Luo took his weapon in his right hand.
He pondered if the weapon would be released in the same position it had been sealed in, however the answer seemed obvious even to him. Holding the blade on its flat side, he placed the hilt over the seal in the same position it would be if he had been holding it. Pressing the weapon against the seal Luo activated it, causing the seal to glow for not more than a second before fading back to the crimson tinged black hue it was. In that instant, the weapon seemed to be sucked into the seal. Staring at the back of his hand for a moment, Luo was happy to find there was no discomfort in sealing the weapon in a tattoo on his body. It was a minor worry, one he had previously dismissed as silly, however it was still good to know.
Holding his hand outstretched in front of him, Luo activated the seal causing the weapon to appear in a quick burst of light. He gathered either Zdura knew enough about the Ushio clan to know how Luo was capable of doing so without hand seals, or he'd seen other shinobi capable of the feat albeit on a smaller scale. The weapon appeared four inches above the back of Luo's hand, surprising him a bit as it began to fall with gravity. Moving his hand out of the way to avoid simply knocking it, he instead kicked the 'bladed' end on the flat side, causing it to flip quickly so Luo could catch it by the hilt. Exhaling deeply through his nostrils, Luo attempted slightly to contain his sigh. "That simply won't do," he muttered aloud to no one in particular. Sealing the weapon once more, he tried again.
This time, Luo had an idea of where the weapon would appear and just as well how long it took until gravity took hold of it. Scratching his chin for a moment, he knelt down for a moment, placing his elbows on his thighs as he thought for a moment on how best to go about it. After about a minute or so of thinking, the idea came to mind. Lifting himself up from his hunched over position, he sealed the weapon once more. Arching his left arm over to his right side as if he were striking horizontally, he swung it back quickly, activating the seal mid-swing. As his hand continued to his far left, the weapon once more appeared where he had activated it, hovering for a slight moment before gravity took its hold. Before it could however, Luo's arm swung back towards the right quickly, a tinge of how fast he actually was showing in his ability to catch the weapon by the hilt and grip it before it fell past the four and a half inch mark. He timed the movement so that when the weapon began to fall, his arm would come back in time for his hand to grip the weapon in an actual horizontal swing. Halting the motion as the blade was parallel to his body, Luo nodded at his accomplishment. Turning towards Zdura he muttered, "I think that will suffice."

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura stood back, watching with interest as Luo practiced with the seal. He'd never actually had the opportunity to see a seal used in this way, so he found the entire scene quite enlightening. Luo, for his part, seemed to take to it quite well. The man's reflexes were admirable, to succeed so quickly, though it was simple to see, at least in his own mind, that the man would continue practicing at a later time until he could use the seal much more efficiently. There was more than one way to use that seal after all, little tricks that one with such reflexes could pull off, and he rather looked forward to seeing if Luo would discover them on his own. He didn't seem that well versed in the sealing arts, but one did not become the head of the Ushio, and kage of a village, without an excellent mind, and a good dose of creativity. Once the man seemed to be done with his practice for now, Zdura nodded, a smile on his face. "I look forward to seeing what you can do with it." he said, voicing his earlier thoughts aloud, even as he pulled the vial of blooded ink from his robe, and held it out for Luo to claim. "As promised, this is yours to keep. There is enough blood and ink left for one more seal of about the same size as that one. I can make you another seal with it, or you can destroy the ink. Or just keep it if you like. Your choice. You can keep the vial regardless though. It's made of crystal, and is much stronger than glass." He didn't know what the man could, or would, use the vial for, but he didn't need it himself, and the small gift could well help towards endearing himself to the kage a bit, which was always a good endeavor. ~ [Chakra: 300]

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Nodding towards Zdura's response after Luo himself was satisfied momentarily with the method of release, he sealed the weapon once more for use tomorrow morning. He now had something new to practice during the trip, which he found to be a nice surprise. Taking the vial that was held out for him, Luo placed it into his supply pouch. He didn't want to get rid of the sample yet, deciding perhaps there was something else that could be done once he got back to Kiri he simply had yet to think about. As for the vial itself, he had no use for it at the current time being, but Luo was never one to simply get rid of something simply because it had no current use. He'd find a use for it after the blood and ink was gone, but for now he kept it close, noting its durability.
As the sun struck the deck harshly, Luo realized the process of the tattoo had taken the better part of the afternoon. Sunsets in Kirigakure were very rarely this magnificent and clear, instead causing the mist to appear as golden particles wafting in the wind. This however, was something else entirely. The sky streaked hues of deep blues, oranges, pinks, and lavender. As the sun continued to set the colors grew deeper and more defined, a pleased and complacent smile plastering itself on Luo's face. It had been a while since he was able to see a sunset so clearly, so he stood out there to enjoy it until the bitter end in silence.
Just as the sun at last went down, Luo realized he had eaten nothing for the better part of the day, a habit he had since he was young. It wasn't that he hated eating, so much that it cut into time he felt could be spent doing other things. Often, the act slipped his mind until his stomach painfully reminded him it was oh so necessary. While they were on the deck, the small crew had taken that time to prepare a meal for themselves and eat below deck. When the captain came up above he mentioned there was plenty left over for the pair to eat. Thanking the man, Luo went below deck to find the place smelled of beef stock and asparagus. As an island nation Kirigakure had small cattle ranches, nothing compared to those on the mainland. So when beef was served, some saw it as a sort of delicacy.
Pouring the broth into a bowl from the cupboard and placing six asparagus sticks in it sticking up, the man sat at the table and ate. While graceful in his mannerisms, Luo's eating habits could some times be termed as voracious, if only because of the long periods with which he went without sustenance. The asparagus was eaten first, quickly and without remorse. The broth took a bit more time as he didn't want to scald his tongue. Instead, he slurped the soup down, chewing the beef and potatoes in it when they entered his mouth. The slurping helped to cool the broth as he ate it, not meant as a rude means of eating. Suffice it to say, Luo took all of four minutes to eat the food and stand up for seconds.
This time, Luo didn't bother to sit, instead choosing to stand in the kitchenette and eat, albeit a lot slower this time now that his hunger had been somewhat satiated. When he finished, he cleaned his bowl and spoon in the small sink with soap and warm water, placing them both on a drying rack. The task was something small, however nobility and the like were known to grow to become slobs simply because cleaning up after themselves was never asked of them. In the Ushio house hold however, humility was taught near immediately. Luo remembers panting in the garden on his back after running with his hands on the ground with a wet towel, cleaning the outer decks of the main house. He was grateful for the lessons and the chores however, having experienced first hand the laziness which accompanied some of the wealthy.
Deciding to shower, Luo went to the small bathroom in the main sleeping quarters of the crew. The family yacht had a tank of water outfitted to allow for showers, although it was advised to use it sparingly. Otherwise, there was a shower on the top deck which recycled sea water for use, which wasn't exactly clean. Folding his clothes neatly, Luo placed them on the toilet seat, placing his katana on top of the pile. After a quick shower as well as a change into cotton pants for sleeping and a shirt, Luo emerged and went towards the head sleeping quarters, placing his belongings under his bed. Passing Zdura in the common room he nodded. "I'm going to call it a night, feel free to do the same at any time." Turning around, he walked into the room and pulled the silk sheets aside before entering, completely covering himself soon after. He left the door ajar for his bodyguard for whenever he felt like turning in, assuming of course that he did. Luo knew quite a few people who didn't sleep as often as they should, sometimes himself included.

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura admired the sunset just as Luo did. Even in Kariko, atop the mountains of Rice, the still had the higher mountains nearby, and thick forests to block the sky. They certainly had a better view than Kiri had, but nothing like this. With nothing to block the horizon, it was as if he was watching the sun sink into the ocean itself, absorbed by the waves until it's fire was put out. It was easy to see why sailors were superstitious folk, with sights like that every day. He made sure to commit the event strongly to his memory. Yasashii would love a copy of that sight. Even as Luo went below for food, Zdura stayed on deck, simply watching the waves. He knew full well Luo didn't need his protection, and it was evident by their behavior that all the men on this boat were familiar with him, and him with them. Luo likely had them watching him, even as his mission was supposedly, at this stage, to watch them. And besides, he had no use for the food. As he'd discovered early on in his new life, he didn't need sustenance. His body permanently held the form it was created in, with no need for food or drink. Eating could in fact be dangerous, as he didn't seem to have a complete digestive system. He could take food in, but getting it out again took some more creative tactics than he liked. The build up of food in his system would slow him down, and if it wasn't relieved, well, he wasn't sure exactly what it could do, so he chose to not let it get that far. So, there he stayed, enjoying the cooling sea air and listening to the sounds only happy sailors could make as they moved about the ship, celebrating whatever it was that made them so bloody happy all the time. Grown men singing and dancing about a ship with mugs of whatever alcoholic beverage they preferred. Back in his bar that rarely happened, and soon turned into a fist fight as the drunk men eventually found something to disagree about, at which point he and Brutus sent them out the door, some a bit more forcefully than others. But on a ship such as this? The sailors weren't even drunk when they started in on it, probably never got to the point of true drunkenness even, as they would be back to work in a short time. Anywhere else in the world he had to assume grown men would be embarrassed by such actions, but on a ship it was perfectly normal. Bizarre, really. Abandoning his thoughts after awhile, Zdura left the railing and headed below, having lost track of the sounds indicating Luo's presence. As he entered the common room though, the kage walked in as well from a different direction, obviously dressed for sleep. A fact which was confirmed a moment later as Luo said it outright, before heading into his bedroom. As sleep was another luxury Zdura no longer required, he simply sat down at the table and pulled out his journal. He still had much to write in it before it was anywhere near the quality of Yasashii's own, and had plenty of time to write it in. So, as the ship quieted, sailors going to their quarters for sleep, Zdura remained, writing in his book by the light of a single candle he'd found nearby, as all the other lights were put out. This served a dual purpose. Giving him something to do with the extra hours in the day he now had, and, if anyone asked, keeping watch over Luo's chambers while the man was vulnerable in sleep. ~ [Chakra: 300]Apparently my filler turned a bit odd, at least in comparison to your own for this round.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As usual, Luo awoke at the crack of dawn as his internal clock went off. Turning to the other side, he was surprised to see Zura's bed on the other side. He gathered either he made it earlier and had gotten up, or simply hadn't gone to sleep. The former seemed more likely, however Luo did notice he had yet to move his things into the room. Placing his feet on the hardwood floor, Luo stood rubbing the corner of his eyes with both index fingers. Opening the already ajar door, he spied Zdura sitting at the table scribbling in a notebook. Slipping into the bathroom, he washed his face and brushed his teeth, taking off the shirt he wore and throwing it into a small bamboo hamper in the hallway as he headed for the upper deck.
Luo's mood in the mornings was very particular to say the least, so it was no surprise he didn't bother to speak to Zdura in passing. His routine had not changed since he was six years old, whether his father and grandfather where in his company or not. The sea breeze struck his face instantly as he opened the cabin door, relishing in the mists of the dawn air. He was told time and time again by his grandfather that it was believed the whispers of the gods were carried in the mists of the morning. As he grew older, Luo doubted the truth to the story more and more, until at last realizing the true meaning behind the old adage. It was to say that the morning was when the mind was most clear, when one's muse could truly be found. As an Ushio this was especially true, as Luo's mind didn't run rampant with the thoughts of that day in the early mornings.
Sitting in the cotton pajama's from the night prior shirtless, he propped his body in the lotus position at the front of the boat as well as placed his weapons down, closing his eyes and beginning to breathe deeply. The art of meditation was a godsend for most of his clan, something that aided to clear the mind when most needed, and just as well a tool the clan as a whole used to temper their moods. Most if not all of his clan to most was said to be very much in control of their emotions, rarely showing any predisposition of rashly moving from one to another. Luo's meditations often focused on quieting the mind, or rather didn't focus on anything. It usually took a moment for him to slip into a meditative state, however the sound of the sea helped quicken the process. As the breeze carried his hair forward, a few ideas for the future began to pop into his head and then quickly left. He'd remember them later, however for now it was time to clear his mind for the rest of the day.
If anyone had attempted to meditate with Luo he wouldn't have minded, not that he would've noticed given the state he was in. In fact, he enjoyed the company of meditating with others, something his seniors instilled in him as well. After an hour and a half however, the silence Luo found to be golden was broken. Exhaling deeply and slowly through the nostrils as he did daily to signify the end of his meditations, he got up slowly. Instead of finding himself annoyed however, he kept cool knowing full well the crew could not help doing what they were paid to do. In fact, Luo planned on the beginning of their work cutting his meditation time short often times when he traveled with them.
Now came Luo's favorite part of the morning, training. He started off always with a light jog, or at least what was a light jog for the young kage. He opted to simply jog around the deck of the boat, remembering sixty laps came out to just about the five miles he did every morning. Even in his jogging pace, one could tell Luo was a natural quick individual. As dawn began to break at last with the rays of the sun becoming more prominent, Luo's jog began. As usual, Luo didn't break a sweat during the exercise, and just as well his mind stayed clear. To him, training was just another form of meditation. After twenty-five minutes on the dot, Luo finished his jog pleased. Not being a proper trail, Luo didn't necessarily mind having five minute miles that day, not seeing the need to over-exert himself like he usually did at least for that day.
His next step in his routine was one-hundred push-ups. He separated how he did them in increments of twenty-five. The first set were done the normal way, completed rather quickly. The second set forced Luo to perform each push-up with one hand, alternating the hand every five sets. This just as well went fairly quickly, although the motion of the boat forced Luo to be placed on an incline with every wave they broke through. Kicking off the ground with his toes, Luo propped his body upside down vertically, taking a moment to balance himself according to the timing of the waves being broken. With both hands firmly planted, he did twenty-five gravity push-ups, taking a bit longer to perform one with each one performed. One could tell the constant movement of the ocean was starting to get to Luo as a bead of sweat ran down his nose, trickling onto the wooden deck. The final set was the hardest, as Luo forced himself to alternate hands as he had done in his second set during the gravity push-ups. Flipping onto his feet, Luo's chest heaved up and down as he wiped the sweat from his brow.
After twenty minutes of acrobatics, Luo headed back towards the deck below for a light breakfast before he began his weapon training. His meals were always precisely portioned in the mornings, consisting of two eggs, the end of a loaf of bread, and a medley of fruit from the Kiri rain forest stored in one of the refrigerated compartments. Sitting down at the table, he ate quietly, this time showing the manners he was taught as a youngster. He wondered just how much longer the trip would take.

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ As Luo passed him to begin his morning rituals, Zdura looked up from his work, honestly surprised as he glanced out a nearby porthole to find the sun was up. Another glance round the table revealed that his candle had long since gone out, melted to a mere puddle on the table. Sighing at the realization that he had once more spent all night working without even realizing it, the clone snapped his notes closed and returned the materials to his robes. Scraping up the long dried wax from the table, he mashed it into a clump and returned it to the drawer he'd found it in. He'd seen some spare wicks when he got the candle, and so assumed that whoever maintained the ship reused the wax. If he'd known where to find their melting pot he'd have done it himself, having done so a fair number of times himself, for the exact reason he'd run the candle out now. Yasashii had spent many a night awake in his study, only ceasing his work when his candle died or Brutus called for him to come to work. Learning to reuse the wax was a necessary skill, or all his income would have gone out in candles. Wondering where Luo had gone, as the man had yet to return for his morning meal, Zdura made his way to the deck, quickly spotting the man meditating at the front of the ship. Nodding in understanding, Zdura chose not to interrupt the man and instead climbed upwards, finding his way to the top of the mast and sitting atop it, merely looking out at the world. Meditation was an art the man had rarely partaken of. It was intended to clear the mind and improve focus, which was excellent for most. But Yasashii had always found that his mind worked at it's best when cluttered. Ideas came in from every angle, mixing and mashing together as they fought for dominance, and eventually becoming something unique and wonderful. He didn't like to disrupt that unless he had an incredible need to focus on something, and only allowed himself to pursue meditation when preparing for a difficult mission that required his complete focus. As he watched, Luo ceased his meditations, disrupted evidently by the increasing activity on deck, and instead began exercises. Still, Zdura simply watched. There was not point to joining in, even if he was certain he'd be welcome, which he was not. His body was in a permanent state. Nothing he could do short of adding or removing seals could alter it for better or worse. If he expected to be welcome, or was asked, he would gladly join in, but for now he simply observed, taking note of Luo's routine. Such information could well come in handy eventually. A disruption in routine, for instance, could often be a signal of trouble with more experienced shinobi. Learning the man's routines now could help him in future, if he needed to protect the man, or if he needed to flee him. As Luo finished his workout and returned below deck, Zdura still stayed. As long as he was awake there was little chance he would need protection, and he would likely be returning soon anyways. Besides, most of the crew was on deck now anyways, and the view really was fascinating, as Zdura let himself be captivated by the sights and sounds. Such a peaceful world. He only hoped it remained that way for the rest of their trip. ~ [Chakra: 300]

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner After a light breakfast and a quick shower, Luo changed into his regular clothes, walking back upstairs to continue. Picking up his pouch and his weapon from the deck, he placed them respectively on his hips. He planned on using the senbon to fish with later, an attempt to practice his use of the torpedo needles technique he had created two months prior. For now however, he was going to work with this seal. After initially practicing what he had done yesterday, Luo began to modify the methods of catching the weapon. The first few involved using its initial appearance to kick the weapon up into his arms, or even at an opponent. The ones which followed, were more intricate as far as application was concerned, however a few he found to be a bit impractical. All-in-all, Luo resigned himself to the original idea for summoning it from the day prior, deciding in due time more ideas for how to go about it would come to him.
As lunchtime approached, Luo stood at the front of the boat looking into the water. They were on the verge of passing through a school of fish. Opening his senbon pouch, Luo threw twelve in total into the sea below. Forcing a hand seal after biding his time, the senbon shot up and out of the water, each with at least one skewered fish attached. A few had two fish caught on one senbon, surprising Luo a bit himself as the senbon fell onto the deck of the boat, sticking into the hardwood. Turning to the captain who was on the deck at the time Luo muttered, "Get the cook to collect the fish and de-bone them. This should be enough for dinner tonight and possibly lunch tomorrow." Nodding as he turned to go address the chef, Luo looked up to spot Zdura above.
Nodding towards him, Luo watched the cook picking up the fish and throwing them into a large pot, Luo cleaning his senbon and placing them back in his pouch after the process. The day went by a bit slower than yesterday, the excitement of departing for the journey having left the men on the boat. As afternoon turned into evening, and evening into night, Luo found himself one again eating standing up in the kitchenette having forgone lunch that day. He'd have to peruse the small library the clan had on the ship for some books to read on the long trip. He gathered he could read most of the books on that ship before the second week was over, however he didn't want to leave himself with nothing to do either. As night came, so did silence aboard the ship. The trip seemed to be getting underway at last.

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura watched with interest as Luo began to practice on deck once more. The man was quickly becoming accustomed to using the seal it seemed, as he rapidly discovered several ways to use it in combat. All were related to drawing the weapon for normal use of course, but he was sure the man would begin to recognize further potential soon enough. He considered going down to the deck to share some of his own ideas, but quickly decided against it, believing the man would rather learn for himself, not to mention being rather interested in seeing how long those discoveries took. His choice to simply observe netted him an extra bonus soon enough, as when he finished with his practice, Luo displayed some of his skill with the senbon, surprising Zdura as the man threw them into the water, only for them to return moments later bearing fish. He'd never heard of someone using normal weapons in that way outside of weapon based bloodlines and clans. He returned Luo's nod as the man left the deck, mind still racing trying to understand the feat he'd just witnessed. Could the man be a puppeteer perhaps? Shin, back in Kariko had done similar tricks using his threads, but those required guiding hand motions, and to control so many at once was, at least theoretically, impossible. Shaking his head as the sun indicated late afternoon quickly approaching, Zdura abandoned the mystery. Things such as that were doubtless why Luo was revered for his mastery of the needle like weapons. Realizing that he'd spent the majority of the day now sitting in one spot, Zdura stood, and jumped. In a rare display of his left over skills as a circus acrobat, he proceeded to make his way to the deck, swinging between ropes, rigging, and the masts themselves, never remaining in contact with a single point for longer than half a second. Landing on the deck with a flourish, he stood fully and walked away, headed below just as Luo had, satisfied that some degree of routine was forming for the trip.
