The Range of the weapon: Short/mid range (Standard Katana)
Weakness: This blade is useless against the hyouton bloodline past the B-Rank. It can itself be frozen forever in hyouton ice (Unless a hyouton user is sought out to unfreeze it), therefore it's never wise to use this against a hyouton user. It's range is also somewhat limited.
Description: The Sapphire crest is a blade Luo found which washed ashore on vertigo isle during one of his private intensive training sessions. Picking the blade up, a voice rang through his head which simply stated, "The god of the sea has seen your villages plight. Go forth with this gift, the crest of my domain and strike down your enemies in the name of the water country." As the voice disappeared, he found himself with a wealth of knowledge of the blade's capabilities. The weapon itself represented the sea. It's handle was made of an odd durable coral, and encircled by an unknown material. The blade itself seemed to be riddled with items reminding him of the sea such as conch shells and sea stars, and the final blade was eight pronged, the middle prong seeming to be different than the others. Luo would later learn this prong was from the middle prong of the sea god's sapphire trident. The whole blade was made of coiled and stretched sapphire with random hooks and catches for catching other weapons, or at least that was what he assumed as its durability was comparable to a normal katana. Finally, the blade had water and sea foam constantly snaking around it. It was almost as if the blade itself were an ocean of its own. The chain on the end with the sapphire conch shell snakes up around the users arm so that it has the capability to just "hang."

Special Abilities: Molecule expansion (C-Rank): Sapphire's crest is capable of causing the water molecules in a 100yd radius to rapidly expand and increase. This causes anyone not holding the blade to dramatically lose their speed. For anyone chuunin rank and below, it is as if the person were moving underwater. For jounin rank and above, the opponents speed is cut by 1/2 his total speed. This ability lasts for ten posts, and although it is a strong one, there are in fact plenty of ways to avoid this special ability if a shinobi were smart enough to figure them out.

Channeling The Ocean God Within: This blade has the capability to allow the user to channel suiton through it without the use of hand seals, but instead appropriate swinging motions to initiate them. Further, if the holder of this blade uses hand seals for suiton while the blade is in use, then they receive +1/2 a rank.

Name Translation: Senbon Cherry Blossom/Senbon Decoy (Sakura Translates into both.)

Primary Weapon Ability:At first glance, she seems like a normal blade. However, she is in fact one thousand senbon carefully placed together to make the katana. Special groves in the sheath hold them together, and Luo's chakra holds them together when unsheathed. Using the hilt to control each and every senbon's movement using strings of chakra, Luo can cause the blade to "bloom" having the senbon burst out towards the opponent for attack or defense. Luo has created a few special moves for the blade for offense and defense.

Petal Dance: Because the blade is moved by the fuuton element and chakra strings, by rapidly rotating all 1,000 senbon in a dome around him, Luo is able to block Raiton up to A-Rank. The reason for this, is because the fuuton element coating the senbon themselves partially discharges the electricity. The rotation of all the senbon, contains the electric current on the senbon themselves, not allowing it to pass through.

Discription: The purposes of this clone are two-fold in nature. By tossing a simple senbon into the air and performing the ram hand seal, the senbon bursts into a clone who lands at the ready next to the ninja in question who created the jutsu, or headed towards whatever direction the senbon was thrown. It is the material used for this bunshin, and its durability that causes it to be of such a high rank. As it would normally take a solid hit to destroy a clone of most types, it would take three direct hits to this type of clone to destroy it because of the metal used to create it. Alternatively, this clone is HIGHLY susceptible to Raiton of C rank and above as well as Katon of A Rank and above, these ninjutsu allow for this specific clone to be dispelled with only one of such an attack, raiton in particular arching to any senbon clone nearby. The clone is usually used as a lightning rod of sorts to divert large Raiton from the user, and when this clone is defeated, it bursts into hundreds of senbon which scatter in all directions. However, if a katon is used to destroy the clone, because of the obvious fact that the immense heat would melt the senbon, the scatter affect of the jutsu does not take affect. The jutsu really has no limits other than how many senbon the user has to spare for the jutsu, and depending on the type of senbon (poison tipped, bell senbon, etc.), depicts the devastating scatter of senbon when the clone is dispelled. (So basically if I used a poison tipped senbon to create it, if it were defeated, it would burst into hundreds of poison tipped senbon.) These clones although ninjutsu in nature, can only replicate the taijutsu techniques of the user at their full strength, but nothing more.

Description: Tossing dozens of senbon into the air, Luo allows them to fall back onto the ground, sticking into the earth. Using his chakra to then manipulate them, the senbon sink into the ground and can "swim" in the immediate area. Luo can then cause them to erupt out of the ground and stick through an opponents feet/foot to nail them in place for one post (if they of course don't figure out a way to get out of it.), or can cause all of them to erupt out of the ground in one massive and unforseen attack. The two capabilities of this jutsu are usually used in succession by nailing an opponent in place and then using the rest of the senbon to dispatch of them. This is considered a C-rank jutsu.

As Luo watched as his opponent ran circles around him blurring too quickly for Luo's eyes to follow, he ran through in his own head what he could do to slow things down. Continuing to move around him, throwing the odd kunai here and there, Luo put a plan into action at last. Reaching into his side pouch, Luo tossed into the air a couple of senbon he had. As they landed and stuck into the ground, Luo forced a single seal and they sunk in disappearing from sight. Spinning the recently caught kunai, Luo closed his eyes. Feeling the strength of the wind currents that passed around him, he tried to get a general idea of the man's location by how strong the wind hit him on whatever side of his body the shinobi had just passed. If Luo could figure out when to toss the Kunai in order to halt the man, he could keep him there indefinitely. After a minute or two of figuring out his relative speed, as the wind gusted on his left side, he immediately through the kunai in front of him, just barely knicking at his right achilles tendon. Clenching his teeth in pain as he skid to a halt, Luo caused two of the needles to rise out of the ground, stabbing into the man's feet. Crying out in pain and trying to move, Luo sighed as he forced the tiger seal causing the rest to erupt out of the ground, stabbing through him in various spots and killing him near instantly. As the man's dead body remained standing by the senbon in his feet as well as the senbon in his body that supported his upright position, Luo turned and left. If one thing would be known, it was that the man's death was not at the hands of someone to be scoffed at.

Description: The name for this technique originates from Luo watching the fishermen of Kiri take on larger fish with the traditional harpoon. Luo was fascinated with the traditional fishing method in that he could see a parallel between the harpoon and the senbon. Although varying in size tremendously, both aimed to strike vital points effectively. So, in keeping with his recent development of weapon releases, he decided to incorporate this ideal into the weapon. By first throwing the senbon, and altering them completely with chakra, Luo can cause a great number of them to elongate and widen. The senbon become three inches thick, and eight feet long. By increasing weight, the senbon in flight become more deadly, especially if thrown from above, gaining speed as they fall to the ground. Relatively light in nature, these enlarged senbon are still fairly speedy when thrown by hand, and pack quite the serious impaling ability as well. When thrown, the trajectory of the weapons can be guided, but only to a minimal extent; just enough to be directed towards their opponent. At one time, a maximum of twenty-five can be formed. If used correctly, this jutsu has the capability to be used as multiple lightning rods, re-directing the lightning flow of raiton C-rank and below.

Description: This is the advanced version of the senbon harpoon technique, sacrificing speed for power. This technique starts with the maximum amount of harpoon senbon (25) forming together in groups of five quickly. After this happens, they seem to meld together quickly into five rather large senbon spears, although some would call them small pillars. Six feet in length, and 2ft in diameter, these spears are meant for serious brute force. The tip of each large spear is still sharp, however it's usually the force of impact that is the cause of impalement with these, not sheer sharpness. Luo quite astute in sōjutsu, or the art of wielding the spear, notes that while these are certainly not meant for throwing, they can individually be wielded as large spears by only the most capable (in terms of strength) shinobi. In other words, wielding one of these would require the strength to effectively wield a weapon weighing two-hundred pounds.

When dropped from more than thirty feet in the air, these spears can cause radial craters of three feet to form around the impact epicenter, jarring anyone in the vicinity and knocking them off balance. Three of these pillars formed in a triangle around the user are capable of redistributing any raiton of A-rank and below, and arranging all five in a pentagon around the user causes the technique to be capable of deflecting one S-rank raiton technique, granting this jutsu its name. However, there is one drawback to deflecting a technique of such magnitude: The molecular structure of the pillars becomes highly unstable, and if a second raiton technique of any rank is performed in close proximity activating their electrical arcing abilities, the pillars will explode into five-hundred normal sized senbon, one-hundred for each pillar. This explosion is random in nature, and can even maim the person who used the technique.

Another thing to note, is that this is after all metal. Katon of B-rank or higher can also change the molecular structure of the metal, melting each pillar individually completely.

Jutsu's Element: Suiton
Description: Kiri no Enbu is a very technical jutsu that only the mind of an Ushio could bring to fruition. There are six seals to the jutsu in total, although its lack of more seals is even more proof of how difficult the technique really was. The jutsu allows the user the capability to transport him or herself within the confines of any body of mist, using the water vapor as a means to literally fade out of one area, only to appear in another not a moment later. The technique was at its base root a transportation technique, but at the core it was a space-time ninjutsu that used the suiton element as a medium. For that reason, Luo Ushio deemed the technique he created to be of S-rank, since although the technique used an element as a medium for the fast movement, it was unnaturally so and held too many adverse affects. It can be said with confidence that this technique is perhaps the only other technique capable of competing with the Flying Thundergod in terms of speed, however it is confined to within a mist populated area. The technique had a unique ability that could only occur when a shinobi with the suiton element him/herself used Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique). When activated, the added chakra of the user in the mist allows them to be able to transport one different body-part at a time for defensive purposes. These parts however, can not be used autonomously to attack an enemy, this is simply a means of tricking the opponent or even moving a limb out of harms way.

The head of the Ushio clan Luo Ushio is currently unsure weather the jutsu should be released into the public because of its dangerous capability, and its difficulty. He stated plainly that performing the jutsu incorrectly could result in not materializing for a time at all, or body parts simply going 'missing' within the mist until you figure out how to materialize them back onto your body. The final statement Luo made was that using the jutsu more than once in a time span of ten minutes, could cause certain tenketsu (Chakra Nodes) to open unexpectedly, overloading the body with unexpected chakra and causing it to simply shut down (4 post cool-down between use). This of course leads many to believe this happened to the man himself during experimentation. Thus, until further notice the Ushio clan who houses all of the strongest, oldest, and most dangerous of suiton jutsu will house the technique and guard it as their own.
