Barking out the gaian tongue, "We dug through cat s**t for your ******** game? What kind of a right do you posses to play a game that has such wide effects under such pathetically inane conditions?" Shaking his armoured head, "So what happens should you lose this game?"

"I possess no such rights." She all but growled, jostling Leon slightly as she turned to speak properly. "I had this THROWN on me. I didn't get a choice. I can't play the game myself or I would. I'm simply a pawn..." She stopped and frowned.
"...cat s**t?"

"Cat s**t." Gamma stated angrily, but the voice came out in that distinct monotone that matched his brother's. If there wasn't a clear direction from the voice it would be difficult to tell who was speaking. "What is at stake. What does he win?"

Conrad chuckled under his breath at mention of cat s**t. Then again it was directed into his drink so it would take incredible sense of sound to even come close to hearing him. How humorous the help that Browning seemed intent on hiring.
At this time Hector seemed to finish up his call and snapped the phone shut. This produced a 'meeting' between the two as he leaned up and started whispering things to Conrad.
The jolly fat man did not seem very intereasted even as he whispered back.

Barking in the second tongue he responded, "I'll shove my gun up who's evers a** and bash their skulls in. I'll make them pay for this s**t." Looking at the woman as she was obviously riled up at being used, "Who would use us? I may already be a tool, but there I know my masters. I would know and kill this one that plays so foolishly."

She smiled at the less then intimidating figure. "From the best my research shows, he represents the nul or the negative side...assuming the demons that are wanting to win. " She pointed to her own petal around her neck. Nothing so elaborate as the gag prizes the others had. "I as Amp, represent the positive side, again assuming the angels."
She motioned around the Void, even the Gamms technology would be going a bit wild as the chaotic magic got stronger. Readings would be false and things wouldn't work and so on.
"Who wins, decides who gets let loose."
She turned to the other brother. "The gods..."

Being as he came from a group that called itself Deity and Gammu had no familiarity with religion save for the structures that housed them and the military use of them he spoke the following, "I'll see them dead." By now he had lowered the barrel of his weapon to the ground and could feel the motion of the lens constantly shifting as some abnormal pattern seemed to disrupt the sensors.

Gamma could not help but wonder at the cost of Conrad's death. He could make this contest very one sided. "By what means do you declare yourself ... Good? By what outcome would he be Bad?" A natural question. Gamma was not concerned by the squabbles of good and evil, himself believing in neither. Everything only boiled down to who was alive, who was dead, and who was escorting others to the next category.

"I would not." She smiled. "I am by no means a virtous woman. I speak only of commonly construed ideals. I could just as easily be representing the evil side." She shifted, trying to make Leon more comfortable. "However, most of the damage has been done when demons walked Gaia."

Interesting.
Demons. Walking Gaia. For example; "Like foreigners here for the simple purpose of destruction at their own hands for entertainment, drawn here by the lure of Chaos itself?"
Pretty simple, really. Gamma and his brother would not be in this place had it not been for the tournament. "Why don't these... Greater beings simply employ means of their own to insure their victory?" ((With that Impact became a ninja))

TAK TAK TAK TAK TAK TA----
Metallic footfalls came to a halt, even as he slumped forward a bit. His chest rose and fell with breath. Yellowed eyes stared forward, looking over what appeared to be the single sanest thing he had laid eyes on for a while now.
The air was remarkbly thin here... as if he were atop some great summit. And it was also heavy as hell... or maybe it was just his imagination.
Damn.... maybe I should have taken my bike after all...
He started moving forward again, Alex resting agaisnt his back, and his hands as well as teeth, holding onto all their bags.
Like the great burdened mule he was.
Guh...
He hoped the dragon had at least found some way out... but then again it seemed giddy as hell being in here.
"Nghff!"
He plodded on towards what he hoped was the Temple.

The Tomb of Knowledge... a repository of numerous realms of existence... is this Temple just like that place then...
Vahn continued moving forward, now seeing the crystalline structure more closely.
...that place that consumed my brother?
Coming to halt, he could see no front entrance. Apparently he'd ended up walking right behind the building.
"Nff..."
Hauling a**, he made his way to the side, half waddling and half plodding along to turn the corner of the building. He thought he could hear what passed for conversation, but he couldn't feel the body heat of any living thing within range.
Even... my power is outta whack here...just great.

He caught his breath, as he slightly peered around the corner.
To be quite honest, he didn't know what to expect, and since he was burdened with carrying Alex, he couldn't afford to get into any skirmishes.
Two.... guys... I think? S'hard to tell... s**t. s**t. s**t. s**t. This really sucks.
Letting out a breath, he backstepped and moved alongside the building once more. Kneeling, he put Alex down and propped her gently against the side of the wall.
"This sucks..."
He spoke softly, while running a hand across her forehead.
"But I have to go... I already promised you I'd see you through.. so just... wait for me... alright?"
He couldn't let what happened at the Boardwalk repeat itself.... he wasn't the type of person to be able to fight to his fullest capabilities with innocents around.
He took hold of her saddlebags and bookbag, and placed them against her lap, securing her arms around them.
"Man... you really are a sleepyhead."
Standing back up, he adjusted his left glove, before looking behind him...
Alright then... I need to... get going!
He began jogging in the direction his eyes focused on, not exactly knowing what to expect.
He might as well have been in hell.

"Because unlike mortals." She smiled, still mentally chuckling over the contrasting pink and orange. "They are as much their words and oaths as we are flesh and blood. They agreed to play this game to sastify a mortal for some reason. Instead of just wrecking complete and total havok to Gaia. Apparently she did it to keep the damage to a minimumal." She looked down at the exhausted Leon.
"When are you going to wake up?"

Flare approached the temple slowly, her guard up. She recognized those suits as the men who had attacked Owle, and recognized Samantha Browning as the woman who had shot her and nearly killed Owle.
She recognized Leon and Conrad, too, from Owle's memory, but she didn't care about them.
The demoness walked up casually, pretending she didn't notice the faint glow that came from beneath her leather jacket...which she was wearing, zipped up, in the middle of a freaking desert. Yes, real subtle...but what choice had she?
She merely waited for an explanation.
